Job 32

1 So these three men ceased to answer Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes.

۱ پس آن سه مرد از جواب دادن به ایوب باز ماندند چونکه او در نظر خود عادل بود.

2 Then was kindled the wrath of Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite, of the family of Ram; against Job was his wrath kindled, because he justified himself rather than God.

۲ آنگاه خشم الیهو ابن برکئیل بوزی که ازقبیله رام بود مشتعل شد، و غضبش بر ایوب افروخته گردید، از این جهت که خویشتن را ازخدا عادلتر می‌نمود.

3 Also against his three friends was his wrath kindled, because they had found no answer, and yet had condemned Job.

۳ و خشمش بر سه رفیق خود افروخته گردید، از این جهت که هر‌چندجواب نمی یافتند، اما ایوب را مجرم می‌شمردند.

4 Now Elihu had waited to speak unto Job, because they were older than he.

۴ و الیهو از سخن‌گفتن با ایوب درنگ نموده بود زیرا که ایشان در عمر، از وی بزرگتربودند.

5 And when Elihu saw that there was no answer in the mouth of these three men, his wrath was kindled.

۵ اما چون الیهو دید که به زبان آن سه مردجوابی نیست، پس خشمش افروخته شد.

6 And Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite answered and said: I am young, and ye are very old; wherefore I held back, and durst not declare you mine opinion.

۶ و الیهو ابن برکئیل بوزی به سخن آمده، گفت: «من در عمر صغیر هستم، و شما موسفید. بنابراین ترسیده، جرات نکردم که رای خود را برای شمابیان کنم.

7 I said: 'Days should speak, and multitude of years should teach wisdom.'

۷ و گفتم روزها سخن گوید، و کثرت سالها، حکمت را اعلام نماید.

8 But it is a spirit in man, and the breath of the Almighty, that giveth them understanding.

۸ لیکن در انسان روحی هست، و نفخه قادرمطلق، ایشان را فطانت می‌بخشد.

9 It is not the great that are wise, nor the aged that discern judgment.

۹ بزرگان نیستند که حکمت دارند، و نه پیران که انصاف را می‌فهمند.

10 Therefore I say: 'Hearken to me; I also will declare mine opinion.'

۱۰ بنابراین می‌گویم که مرا بشنو. و من نیز رای خود را بیان خواهم نمود.

11 Behold, I waited for your words, I listened for your reasons, whilst ye searched out what to say.

۱۱ اینک از سخن‌گفتن با شما درنگ نمودم، و براهین شما را گوش گرفتم. تا سخنان را کاوش گردید.

12 Yea, I attended unto you, and, behold, there was none that convinced Job, or that answered his words, among you.

۱۲ و من در شما تامل نمودم و اینک کسی از شما نبود که ایوب را ملزم سازد. یا سخنان او را جواب دهد.

13 Beware lest ye say: 'We have found wisdom; God may vanquish him, not man!'

۱۳ مبادا بگویید که حکمت رادریافت نموده‌ایم، خدا او را مغلوب می‌سازد و نه انسان.

14 For he hath not directed his words against me; neither will I answer him with your speeches.

۱۴ زیرا که سخنان خود را به ضد من ترتیب نداده است، و به سخنان شما او را جواب نخواهم داد.

15 They are amazed, they answer no more; words are departed from them.

۱۵ ایشان حیران شده، دیگر جواب ندادند، وسخن از ایشان منقطع شد.

16 And shall I wait, because they speak not, because they stand still, and answer no more?

۱۶ پس آیا من انتظاربکشم چونکه سخن نمی گویند؟ و ساکت شده، دیگر جواب نمی دهند؟

17 I also will answer my part, I also will declare mine opinion.

۱۷ پس من نیز از حصه خود جواب خواهم داد، و من نیز رای خود رابیان خواهم نمود.

18 For I am full of words; the spirit within me constraineth me.

۱۸ زیرا که از سخنان، مملوهستم. و روح باطن من، مرا به تنگ می‌آورد.

19 Behold, mine inwards are as wine which hath no vent; like new wine-skins which are ready to burst.

۱۹ اینک دل من مثل شرابی است که مفتوح نشده باشد، و مثل مشکهای تازه نزدیک است بترکد.

20 I will speak, that I may find relief; I will open my lips and answer.

۲۰ سخن خواهم راند تا راحت یابم و لبهای خودرا گشوده، جواب خواهم داد.

21 Let me not, I pray you, respect any man's person; neither will I give flattering titles unto any man.

۲۱ حاشا از من که طرفداری نمایم و به احدی کلام تملق‌آمیز گویم.

22 For I know not to give flattering titles; else would my Maker soon take me away.

۲۲ چونکه به گفتن سخنان تملق‌آمیز عارف نیستم. والا خالقم مرا به زودی خواهد برداشت.
