Job 3
1 After this opened Job his mouth, and cursed his day.
၁
2 And Job spoke, and said:
၂ထိုနောက် ၊ ယောဘ သည် နှုတ် ကိုဖွင့် ၍ မိမိဘွားသောနေ့ရက် ကိုကျိန်ဆဲ လျက် မြွက်ဆို သည်ကား။
3 Let the day perish wherein I was born, and the night wherein it was said: 'A man-child is brought forth.'
၃ငါဘွား သော နေ့ ရက်ပျက်စီး ပါစေ။ သား ယောက်ျားကို ပဋိသန္ဓေ ယူပြီဟုသိတင်းကြား ပြောသော ညဉ့် လည်း ပျက်စီးပါစေ။
4 Let that day be darkness; let not God inquire after it from above, neither let the light shine upon it.
၄ထို နေ့ ရက်မိုက် ပါစေ။ ဘုရား သခင်သည် မျက်နှာ ပြုတော်မ မူပါစေနှင့်။ အလင်း မ ပေါ်ထွန်း ပါစေနှင့်၊
5 Let darkness and the shadow of death claim it for their own; let a cloud dwell upon it; let all that maketh black the day terrify it.
၅မှောင်မိုက် ၊ သေမင်း အရိပ်သည် ထိုနေ့ရက်အသရေကို ရှုတ်ချ ပါစေ။ မိုဃ်းတိမ် ထပ် လွှမ်းမိုး ပါစေ။ မွန်းတည့်အရှိန်ဖြင့် ကြောက်မက် ဘွယ် ဖြစ်ပါစေ။
6 As for that night, let thick darkness seize upon it; let it not rejoice among the days of the year; let it not come into the number of the months.
၆ထို ညဉ့် သည်မှောင်မိုက် ၌ ပျောက် ပါစေ။ နှစ် စဉ် နေ့ ရက်တို့နှင့် မ ပေါင်း ပါစေနှင့်၊
7 Lo, let that night be desolate; let no joyful voice come therein.
၇လ အရေ အတွက်၌ မ ဝင် ပါစေနှင့်။ အော်၊ ထို ညဉ့် သည်ဆိတ်ညံ ပါစေ။ ရွှင်လန်း သောအသံမ ရှိ ပါစေနှင့်။
8 Let them curse it that curse the day, who are ready to rouse up leviathan.
၈နေ့ ရက်ကိုရွေး၍ ကျိန်ဆဲ တတ်သောသူ၊ မိကျောင်း ကို ထ စေတတ်သောသူတို့သည် ထိုညဉ့်ကို ကျိန်ဆဲ ပါစေ။
9 Let the stars of the twilight thereof be dark; let it look for light, but have none; neither let it behold the eyelids of the morning;
၉ညဦးယံ ကြယ် တို့သည် မိုက် ပါစေ။ ထိုညဉ့်သည် အလင်း ကိုတောင့်တ ၍ မ ရပါစေနှင့်။ နံနက် မိုဃ်းလင်းကို မ မြင် ပါစေနှင့်။ အကြောင်းမူကား၊
10 Because it shut not up the doors of my mother's womb, nor hid trouble from mine eyes.
၁၀ငါ့ အမိ၏ဝမ်း ကို ပိတ် မ ထား၊ ဒုက္ခ ဆင်းရဲကို ငါ မမြင်စေခြင်းငှါ မကွယ် မကာ။
11 Why died I not from the womb? Why did I not perish at birth?
၁၁ငါသည်မွေး စက အဘယ်ကြောင့် မ သေ သနည်း။ အမိဝမ်း ထဲမှ ထွက် စက အဘယ်ကြောင့်အသက် မချုပ် သနည်း။
12 Why did the knees receive me? And wherefore the breasts, that I should suck?
၁၂ငါ့ ကိုအဘယ်ကြောင့် ပိုက်ပွေ့ ရသနည်း။ အဘယ်ကြောင့် နို့ တိုက်ရသနည်း။
13 For now should I have lain still and been quiet; I should have slept; then had I been at rest —
၁၃ထိုသို့မပြုလျှင် ငါသည်အိပ် ၍ငြိမ်း ပြီ။ ပျော် လျက်နေရပြီ။
14 With kings and counsellors of the earth, who built up waste places for themselves;

15 Or with princes that had gold, who filled their houses with silver;
၁၅မြို့ပျက် တို့ကို ပြင်ဆင် ပြုစုသော လောကီ ရှင်ဘုရင် ၊ မှူးမတ် တို့နှင့်၎င်း၊ ရွှေ ကိုရတတ်၍ ဘဏ္ဍာတိုက် ၌ ငွေ ကိုအပြည့် သိုထားသောမင်းတို့နှင့်၎င်း ငါငြိမ်းရပြီ။
16 Or as a hidden untimely birth I had not been; as infants that never saw light.
၁၆သို့မဟုတ် အချိန် နေ့လမစေ့မှီ မွေးသောသူငယ်၊ အလင်း ကို မမြင် ရသောသူငယ် ကဲ့သို့ ငါပျက်စီးရပြီ။
17 There the wicked cease from troubling; and there the weary are at rest.
၁၇ထို အရပ်၌ လူဆိုး တို့သည် နောက်တဖန်မ နှောင့်ရှက် ရ။ ပင်ပန်း သောသူတို့သည် ချမ်းသာ ရကြ၏။
18 There the prisoners are at ease together; they hear not the voice of the taskmaster.
၁၈အချုပ် ခံရသောသူတို့သည်လည်း အတူ ငြိမ်ဝပ် ရကြ၏။ ညှဉ်းဆဲ သောသူ၏စကား သံကိုမ ကြား ရကြ။
19 The small and great are there alike; and the servant is free from his master.
၁၉ထို အရပ်၌ ကြီး သောသူနှင့် ငယ် သောသူရှိကြ၏။ ကျွန် သည်လည်း သခင် လက်နှင့် လွတ် ရ၏။
20 Wherewith is light given to him that is in misery, and life unto the bitter in soul —
၂၀ဒုက္ခ ဆင်းရဲခံရသောသူအား အဘယ်ကြောင့် အလင်း ကိုပေး သနည်း။ စိတ် နှလုံးခါး သောသူအား အဘယ်ကြောင့်အသက် ကိုပေးသနည်း။
21 Who long for death, but it cometh not; and dig for it more than for hid treasures;
၂၁သူတို့သည် သေ ခြင်းကို တောင့်တ ၍မ ရနိုင်။ ဝှက်ထား သော ဥစ္စာကိုဘော်ခြင်းငှါတူး သည် ထက် သေခြင်း အကြောင်းကို ဘော်ခြင်းငှါသာ၍ထူးကြ၏။
22 Who rejoice unto exultation, and are glad, when they can find the grave? —
၂၂သူတို့သည်သင်္ချိုင်း တွင်းကို တွေ့ သောအခါ အလွန်ဝမ်းမြောက် ၍ အထူးသဖြင့်ရွှင်လန်း ကြ၏။
23 To a man whose way is hid, and whom God hath hedged in?
၂၃မိမိ သွားသောလမ်း ကွယ်ပျောက် သော သူ၊ ဘုရား သခင်ဆီးကာ ချုပ်ထားသောသူအား အလင်းနှင့် အသက်ကို အဘယ်ကြောင့်ပေးသနည်း။
24 For my sighing cometh instead of my food, and my roarings are poured out like water.
၂၄အစာ စားခြင်းအရာ၌ ငါ ညည်းတွား ခြင်းရှိ၏။ ငါ ငိုကြွေး မြည်တမ်းခြင်း မျက်ရည်သည်လည်း ရေ စီးသကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်၏။
25 For the thing which I did fear is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of hath overtaken me.
၂၅ငါကြောက် သော အမှုသည် ငါ ၌ရောက်လာ ပြီ။ ငါအလွန်ကြောက် သောဘေးသည် ငါ့ ကို တွေ့ မိပြီ။
26 I was not at ease, neither was I quiet, neither had I rest; but trouble came.
၂၆ငါသည်ငြိမ်ဝပ် ခြင်းမ ရှိ။ ချမ်းဧ ခြင်းမ ရှိ။ သက်သာ ခြင်းမ ရှိ။ ဒုက္ခ ဆင်းရဲသက်သက်ရှိသည်ဟု မြွက်ဆို လေ၏။
