Job 28
1 For there is a mine for silver, and a place for gold which they refine.
১নিশ্চয়ে ৰূপৰ আকৰ আছে আৰু যি সোণ খপা যায়; সেই সোণৰ ঠাইও আছে।
2 Iron is taken out of the dust, and brass is molten out of the stone.
২লোহা মাটিৰ পৰা উলিওৱা হয়, আৰু শিল গলাই তাম উলিয়ায়।
3 Man setteth an end to darkness, and searcheth out to the furthest bound the stones of thick darkness and of the shadow of death.
৩মানুহে অন্ধকাৰ শেষ কৰে, নিচেই তলিলৈকে খান্দে, আন্ধাৰ আৰু মৃত্যুচ্ছায়াৰ শিল বিচাৰি উলিয়ায়।
4 He breaketh open a shaft away from where men sojourn; they are forgotten of the foot that passeth by; they hang afar from men, they swing to and fro.
৪সিহঁতে আকৰ খান্দি গৈ মানুহ থকা ঠাইৰ পৰা দূৰৈ হয়, আৰু ওপৰত ফুৰা লোকে সিহঁতৰ গম নাপায়; সিহঁতে মানুহৰ পৰা দুৰৈত ওলমি জুলি থাকে।
5 As for the earth, out of it cometh bread, and underneath it is turned up as it were by fire.
৫যি পৃথিবীৰ পৰা শস্য উৎপন্ন হয়, তাৰ তল ভাগ জুইৰ দ্বাৰাই লণ্ডভণ্ড কৰাৰ নিচিনা।
6 The stones thereof are the place of sapphires, and it hath dust of gold.
৬তাৰ শিলবোৰ নীলকান্ত বাখৰ থকা ঠাই, আৰু গুড়ি সোণ তাত আছিল।
7 That path no bird of prey knoweth, neither hath the falcon's eye seen it;
৭সেই পথ হিংসক পক্ষীয়ে নাজানে, আৰু শেনৰ চকুৱেও তাক নেদেখে।
8 The proud beasts have not trodden it, nor hath the lion passed thereby.
৮গৰ্ব্বী হিংসুক জন্তুবোৰে তাত খোজ দিয়া নাই, আৰু সিংহও সেই ফালেদি যোৱা নাই।
9 He putteth forth his hand upon the flinty rock; He overturneth the mountains by the roots.
৯মানুহে অতি টান শিলত হাত দিয়ে; সি পৰ্ব্বতবোৰ মূলে সৈতে লুটিয়াই পেলায়।
10 He cutteth out channels among the rocks; and his eye seeth every precious thing.
১০সি শিলৰ মাজে মাজে নলা কাটে, আৰু তাৰ চকুৱে সকলো বিধৰ বহুমূল্য বস্তু দেখা পায়।
11 He bindeth the streams that they trickle not; and the thing that is hid bringeth he forth to light.
১১সি জুৰিবোৰ পানী এটোপাও সৰকিব নোৱাৰাকৈ ভেটে, আৰু গুপুতে থকা বস্তু পোহৰলৈ উলিয়ায়।
12 But wisdom, where shall it be found? And where is the place of understanding?
১২কিন্তু জ্ঞান ক’ত পোৱা যায়? আৰু সুবিবেচনাৰ ঠাই বা ক’ত?
13 Man knoweth not the price thereof; neither is it found in the land of the living.
১৩মনুষ্যই তাৰ মূল্য নাজানে, আৰু জীৱিতসকলৰ দেশত তাক পোৱা নাযায়।
14 The deep saith: 'It is not in me'; and the sea saith: 'It is not with me.'
১৪অগাধ জলে কয়, এইটি মোত নাই, আৰু সাগৰে কয়, মোৰ ইয়াতো নাই।
15 It cannot be gotten for gold, neither shall silver be weighed for the price thereof.
১৫শুদ্ধ সোণ দিওঁ তাক পোৱা নাযায়, আৰু তাৰ বেচ বুলি ৰূপকো জুখি দিব নোৱাৰি।
16 It cannot be valued with the gold of Ophir, with the precious onyx, or the sapphire.
১৬ওফীৰৰ সুবৰ্ণ আৰু বহুমূল্য বৈদূৰ্য্য, আৰু নীলকান্ত বাখৰও জোখত তাৰ সমান নহয়।
17 Gold and glass cannot equal it; neither shall the exchange thereof be vessels of fine gold.
১৭সোণ আৰু আৰ্চি তাৰ তুল্য হ’ব নোৱাৰে, আৰু তাৰ সলনি শুদ্ধ সোণৰ অলঙ্কাৰবোৰকো দিব নোৱাৰি।
18 No mention shall be made of coral or of crystal; yea, the price of wisdom is above rubies.
১৮তাৰ আগত পোৱাল আৰু স্ফটিকৰো নাম লব নোৱাৰি, এনে কি, পদ্মৰাগ বাখৰত্কৈয়ো জ্ঞানৰ মূল্য অধিক।
19 The topaz of Ethiopia shall not equal it, neither shall it be valued with pure gold.
১৯কুচ দেশীয় গোমেদক বাখৰও তাৰ তুল্য নহয়, আৰু জোখত শুদ্ধ সোণো তাৰ সমান নহয়।
20 Whence then cometh wisdom? And where is the place of understanding?
২০তেন্তে জ্ঞান ক’ৰ পৰা আহে? আৰু সুবিবেচনাৰ ঠাই বা ক’ত?
21 Seeing it is hid from the eyes of all living, and kept close from the fowls of the air.
২১এইটো সকলো প্ৰাণীৰ চকুৰ পৰা গুপ্ত, আৰু আকাশৰ পক্ষীৰ পৰাও অদৃশ্য।
22 Destruction and Death say: 'We have heard a rumor thereof with our ears.'
২২বিনাশ আৰু মৃত্যুৱে কয়, আমি নিজ কাণে সেই বিষয়ে ঘুনুক-ঘানাককৈহে শুনিছোঁ।
23 God understandeth the way thereof, and He knoweth the place thereof.
২৩তাৰ পথ ঈশ্বৰেহে জানে, আৰু তাৰ ঠাই তেওঁৰহে জনা আছে।
24 For He looketh to the ends of the earth, and seeth under the whole heaven;
২৪কিয়নো তেওঁ পৃথিবীৰ অন্তলৈকে দেখে, আৰু আকাশ-মণ্ডলৰ তলৰ আটাই ঠাইলৈকে তেওঁৰ চকু যায়।
25 When He maketh a weight for the wind, and meteth out the waters by measure.
২৫তেওঁ যেতিয়া বায়ুৰ গুৰুত্ব নিৰূপণ কৰিলে, যেতিয়া পৰিমান অনুসাৰে জল সমূহ জুখি জুখি দিলে,
26 When He made a decree for the rain, and a way for the storm of thunders;
২৬যেতিয়া তেওঁ বৃষ্টিৰ নিয়ম নিৰূপণ কৰিলে, আৰু মিঘ-গৰ্জ্জনৰ সৈতে ওলোৱা বিজুলীৰ পথ স্থিৰ কৰিলে,
27 Then did He see it, and declare it; He established it, yea, and searched it out.
২৭তেতিয়া তেওঁ জ্ঞানক দেখিলে, আৰু প্ৰকাশ কৰিলে, তেওঁ তাক স্থাপন কৰিলে, আৰু তাৰ তদন্তও কৰিলে;
28 And unto man He said: 'Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.'
২৮আৰু তেওঁ মনুষ্যক কলে, চোৱা, প্ৰভুলৈ ভয় ৰখাই জ্ঞান, আৰু কুকৰ্ম ত্যাগ কৰাই সুবিবেচনা।
