< Job 27 >
1 And Job again took up his parable, and said:
Jòb pran lapawòl ankò pou l' bay rès repons li a. Li di konsa:
2 As God liveth, who hath taken away my right; and the Almighty, who hath dealt bitterly with me;
-Mwen fè sèman, mwen pran Bondye vivan an pou temwen, Bondye ki gen tout pouvwa a, li menm ki refize rann mwen jistis la, li menm ki ban m' degoutans ak lavi a,
3 All the while my breath is in me, and the spirit of God is in my nostrils,
toutotan mwen poko mouri, toutotan Bondye ban m' yon ti souf toujou,
4 Surely my lips shall not speak unrighteousness, neither shall my tongue utter deceit;
mwen p'ap janm kite ankenn move pawòl soti nan bouch mwen, ni m' p'ap janm bay ankenn manti.
5 Far be it from me that I should justify you; till I die I will not put away mine integrity from me.
Pa janm konprann m'ap ban nou rezon! M'ap kenbe ak nou mwen inonsan jouk mwen rann dènye souf mwen.
6 My righteousness I hold fast, and will not let it go; my heart shall not reproach me so long as I live.
Mwen soti pou m' defann kòz mwen. Mwen p'ap fè bak. Konsyans mwen pa repwoche m' anyen. M' pa gen anyen ki pou fè m' wont.
7 Let mine enemy be as the wicked, and let him that riseth up against me be as the unrighteous.
Se pou tout moun ki pa vle wè m' yo sibi menm sò ak mechan yo. Se pou lènmi m' yo gen menm sò ak moun ki pa mache dwat yo.
8 For what is the hope of the godless, though he get him gain, when God taketh away his soul?
Ki espwa ki gen pou mechan an lè Bondye rele l', lè li pral pran nanm li?
9 Will God hear his cry, when trouble cometh upon him?
Lè malè ap tonbe sou mechan an, èske Bondye ap tande rèl li yo?
10 Will he have his delight in the Almighty, and call upon God at all times?
Li pa t' janm pran plezi l' nan fè volonte Bondye. Li pa t' lapriyè Bondye tout tan.
11 I will teach you concerning the hand of God; that which is with the Almighty will I not conceal.
12 Behold, all ye yourselves have seen it; why then are ye become altogether vain?
13 This is the portion of a wicked man with God, and the heritage of oppressors, which they receive from the Almighty.
Lè sa a, Sofa, moun lavil Naama a, pran lapawòl. Epi li di: -Men kisa Bondye pare pou mechan yo. Men sa li sere pou chèf k'ap peze pèp la.
14 If his children be multiplied, it is for the sword; and his offspring shall not have bread enough.
Yo te mèt gen anpil pitit gason, yo tout ap mouri nan lagè. Pitit yo p'ap janm gen kont manje pou yo manje.
15 Those that remain of him shall be buried by pestilence, and his widows shall make no lamentation.
16 Though he heap up silver as the dust, and prepare raiment as the clay;
17 He may prepare it, but the just shall put it on, and the innocent shall divide the silver.
18 He buildeth his house as a moth, and as a booth which the keeper maketh.
Kay li bati tankou twal anasi, tankou yon ti kay jaden.
19 He lieth down rich, but there shall be not to gather; he openeth his eyes, and his wealth is not.
Nan aswè, li moute kabann li rich. Lè li leve, li pa jwenn anyen.
20 Terrors overtake him like waters; a tempest stealeth him away in the night.
Malè tonbe sou li tankou lavalas k'ap desann. Yon sèl nwit lan, yon gwo van pote l' ale.
21 The east wind carrieth him away, and he departeth; and it sweepeth him out of his place.
Yon van lès leve, li pote l' ale. Li rache l' nan kay kote l' ye a.
22 Yea, it hurleth at him, and spareth not; he would fain flee from its power.
Van an ap vante sou li san pitye. Li menm l'ap fè sa li kapab pou l' chape anba l'.
23 Men shall clap their hands at him, and shall hiss him out of his place.
Moun kontan wè jan li fini. Kote l' pase, y'ap rele chalbari dèyè l'.
