Job 26
1 Then Job answered and said:
Y respondió Job, y dijo:
2 How hast thou helped him that is without power! How hast thou saved the arm that hath no strength!
¿En qué ayudaste al que no tiene fuerza? ¿Has salvado con tu brazo al que no tiene fortaleza?
3 How hast thou counselled him that hath no wisdom, and plentifully declared sound knowledge!
¿En qué aconsejaste al que no tiene ciencia, y mostraste bien tu sabiduría?
4 With whose help hast thou uttered words? And whose spirit came forth from thee?
¿A quién has anunciado palabras, y de quién es el espíritu que de ti sale?
5 The shades tremble beneath the waters and the inhabitants thereof.
Cosas muertas son formadas debajo de las aguas, y de sus cavernas.
El sepulcro es descubierto delante de él, y el infierno no tiene cobertura. (Sheol h7585)
7 He stretcheth out the north over the empty space, and hangeth the earth over nothing.
Extiende el aquilón sobre vacío, cuelga la tierra sobre nada.
8 He bindeth up the waters in His thick clouds; and the cloud is not rent under them.
Ata las aguas en sus nubes, y las nubes no se rompen debajo de ellas.
9 He closeth in the face of His throne, and spreadeth His cloud upon it.
El aprieta la faz de su trono, y extiende sobre él su nube.
10 He hath described a boundary upon the face of the waters, unto the confines of light and darkness.
El cercó con término la superficie de las aguas, hasta que se acabe la luz y las tinieblas.
11 The pillars of heaven tremble and are astonished at His rebuke.
Las columnas del cielo tiemblan, y se espantan de su reprensión.
12 He stirreth up the sea with His power, and by His understanding He smiteth through Rahab.
El rompe el mar con su potencia, y con su entendimiento hiere la hinchazón suya.
13 By His breath the heavens are serene; His hand hath pierced the slant serpent.
Su espíritu adornó los cielos; su mano creó la serpiente huidora.
14 Lo, these are but the outskirts of His ways; and how small a whisper is heard of Him! But the thunder of His mighty deeds who can understand?
He aquí, éstas son partes de sus caminos; ¡y cuán poco es lo que hemos oído de él! Porque el estruendo de sus fortalezas, ¿quién lo entenderá?
