Job 17
1 My spirit is consumed, my days are extinct, the grave is ready for me.
௧என் ஆவி உடைகிறது, என் ஆயுசு நாட்கள் முடிகிறது; கல்லறை எனக்கு ஆயத்தமாயிருக்கிறது.
2 Surely there are mockers with me, and mine eye abideth in their provocation.
௨கேலி செய்கிறவர்கள் என்னிடத்தில் இல்லையோ? அவர்கள் செய்யும் அநியாயங்களை என் கண் பார்த்துக்கொண்டிருக்கிறது.
3 Give now a pledge, be surety for me with Thyself; who else is there that will strike hands with me?
௩தேவரீர் என் காரியத்தை உம்மேல் போட்டுக்கொண்டு, எனக்காகப் பிணைக்கப்படுவீராக; வேறே யார் எனக்குக் கைகொடுக்கத்தக்கவர்?
4 For Thou hast hid their heart from understanding; therefore shalt Thou not exalt them.
௪நீர் அவர்கள் இருதயத்திற்கு ஞானத்தை மறைத்தீர்; ஆகையால் அவர்களை உயர்த்தாதிருப்பீர்.
5 He that denounceth his friends for the sake of flattery, even the eyes of his children shall fail.
௫எவன் தன் நண்பனுக்குக் கேடாகத் துரோகம் பேசுகிறானோ, அவனுடைய பிள்ளைகளின் கண்களும் பூத்துப்போகும்.
6 He hath made me also a byword of the people; and I am become one in whose face they spit.
௬மக்களுக்குள்ளே அவர் என்னைப் பழமொழியாக வைத்தார்; அவர்கள் முகத்திற்குமுன் நான் விரும்பத்தகாதவனானேன்.
7 Mine eye also is dimmed by reason of vexation, and all my members are as a shadow.
௭இதற்காக என் கண்கள் வருத்தத்தினால் இருளடைந்தது; என் உறுப்புகளெல்லாம் நிழலைப்போலிருக்கிறது.
8 Upright men are astonished at this, and the innocent stirreth up himself against the godless.
௮சன்மார்க்கர் இதற்காக அதிர்ச்சியடைவார்கள்; குற்றமில்லாதவன் மாயக்காரனுக்கு விரோதமாக எழும்புவான்.
9 Yet the righteous holdeth on his way, and he that hath clean hands waxeth stronger and stronger.
௯நீதிமான் தன் வழியை உறுதியாகப் பிடிப்பான்; சுத்தமான கைகள் உள்ளவன் மேன்மேலும் பலத்துப்போவான்.
10 But as for you all, do ye return, and come now; and I shall not find a wise man among you.
௧0இப்போதும் நீங்கள் எல்லோரும் போய்வாருங்கள்; உங்களில் ஞானமுள்ள ஒருவனையும் காணவில்லை.
11 My days are past, my purposes are broken off, even the thoughts of my heart.
௧௧என் நாட்கள் முடிந்தது; என் இருதயத்தில் எனக்கு உண்டாயிருந்த சிந்தனைகள் இல்லாமல் போனது.
12 They change the night into day; the light is short because of darkness.
௧௨அவைகள் இரவைப் பகலாக்கியது; இருளை வெளிச்சம் தொடர்ந்துவரும் என்று நினைக்கத்தோன்றியது.
13 If I look for the nether-world as my house; if I have spread my couch in the darkness; (Sheol h7585)
௧௩அப்படி நான் காத்துக்கொண்டிருந்தாலும், பாதாளம் எனக்கு வீடாயிருக்கும்; இருளில் என் படுக்கையைப் போடுவேன். (Sheol h7585)
14 If I have said to corruption: 'Thou art my father', to the worm: 'Thou art my mother, and my sister';
௧௪அழிவைப்பார்த்து, நீ எனக்குத் தகப்பன் என்கிறேன்; புழுக்களைப் பார்த்து, நீங்கள் எனக்குத் தாயும் எனக்குச் சகோதரியும் என்கிறேன்.
15 Where then is my hope? And as for my hope, who shall see it?
௧௫என் நம்பிக்கை இப்போது எங்கே? நான் நம்பியிருந்ததைக் காண்பவன் யார்?
