Job 12
1 Then Job answered and said:
১পাছত ইয়োবে পুনৰায় উত্তৰ দিলে আৰু ক’লে,
2 No doubt but ye are the people, and wisdom shall die with you.
২“হয় হয়, তোমালোকহে মানুহ; মৰিলে জ্ঞান তোমালোকৰ লগতে যাব।
3 But I have understanding as well as you; I am not inferior to you; yea, who knoweth not such things as these?
৩কিন্তু তোমালোকৰ নিচিনা মোৰো বুদ্ধি আছে; তোমালোকতকৈ মই নিকৃষ্ট নহওঁ; এনেবোৰ কথা কোনে নাজানে?
4 I am as one that is a laughing-stock to his neighbour, a man that called upon God, and He answered him; the just, the innocent man is a laughing-stock,
৪ঈশ্বৰৰ আগত প্ৰাৰ্থনা কৰি উত্তৰ পোৱা যি মই, ময়েই বন্ধুৰ হাঁহিয়াতৰ পাত্ৰ হৈছোঁ; ধাৰ্মিক সিদ্ধ পুৰুষ জন হাঁহিয়াতৰ পাত্ৰ হৈছে।
5 A contemptible brand in the thought of him that is at ease, a thing ready for them whose foot slippeth.
৫নিৰাপদে থকা লোকৰ মনত বিপদ অপমানৰ বিষয়; পিছল খাই পৰিব লগীয়াবোৰলৈ সেয়ে বাট চায় থাকে।
6 The tents of robbers prosper, and they that provoke God are secure, in whatsoever God bringeth into their hand.
৬ডকাইতবোৰৰ তম্বু কুশলে থাকে; যাৰ হাতত ঈশ্বৰে অধিক ধন সম্পত্তি শোধাই দিছে, ঈশ্বৰৰ বিৰক্ত জন্মোৱা এনেবোৰ লোক নিৰ্ব্বিঘ্নে থাকে।
7 But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee; and the fowls of the air, and they shall tell thee;
৭কিন্তু পশুবোৰক সোধাচোন, সেইবোৰে তোমাক কি দিব; আৰু আকাশৰ পক্ষীবোৰক সোধা, সেইবোৰেও তোমাক কৈ দিব।
8 Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee; and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee;
৮নাইবা পৃথিবীকো সোধাচোন, সিও তোমাক শিক্ষা দিব; আৰু সমুদ্ৰৰ মাছবোৰেও তোমাক কব।
9 Who knoweth not among all these, that the hand of the LORD hath wrought this?
৯পশুবোৰে এইবোৰ বিষয় নাজানে যে, যিহোৱাৰ হাতে এইবোৰ কৰিছে - সিহঁতক জীৱন দিছে -
10 In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind. —
১০যিহোৱাৰ হাততেই সকলো জীৱজন্তুৰ প্ৰাণ, আৰু সমুদায় মনুষ্য জাতিৰ জীৱাত্মা আছে।
11 Doth not the ear try words, even as the palate tasteth its food?
১১জিভাই যেনেকৈ আহাৰৰ আস্বাদ পায়, তেনেকৈ কাণে জানো কথাৰ পৰীক্ষা নকৰে?
12 Is wisdom with aged men, and understanding in length of days? —
১২বৃদ্ধ লোকসকলৰ সৈতে জ্ঞান আছে, দীৰ্ঘ আয়ুসত বুদ্ধি থাকে।
13 With Him is wisdom and might; He hath counsel and understanding.
১৩জ্ঞান আৰু পৰাক্ৰম তেওঁৰ তাতহে আছে; পৰামৰ্শ আৰু বুদ্ধি তেওঁৰহে।
14 Behold, He breaketh down, and it cannot be built again; He shutteth up a man, and there can be no opening.
১৪চোৱা, তেওঁ ভাঙি পেলালে পুনৰায় তাক সজা নাজায়; তেওঁ মানুহক বন্ধ কৰিলে তাক মুকলি কৰা নাযায়।
15 Behold, He withholdeth the waters, and they dry up; also He sendeth them out, and they overturn the earth.
১৫চোৱা, তেওঁ জল সমূহক আটক কৰে, তাতে সেইবোৰ শুকাই যায়; আকৌ সেইবোৰক উলিয়াই দিয়ে, তাতে সেইবোৰে পৃথিবীখন লণ্ডভণ্ড কৰে।
16 With Him is strength and sound wisdom; the deceived and the deceiver are His.
১৬পৰাক্ৰম আৰু বুদ্ধি-কৌশল তেওঁৰ তাতহে; প্ৰবঞ্চক আৰু প্ৰবঞ্চিত লোক সেই দুয়ো তেওঁৰহে।
17 He leadeth counsellors away stripped, and judges maketh He fools.
১৭তেওঁ মন্ত্ৰী সকলক সৰ্ব্বস্বহীন কৰি লৈ যায়, আৰু বিচাৰকৰ্ত্তা সকলক হতবুদ্ধি কৰে।
18 He looseth the bond of kings, and bindeth their loins with a girdle.
১৮তেওঁ ৰজা সকলৰ ক্ষমতা গুচায়, আৰু তেওঁলোকৰ ককালত ডোল লগায়।
19 He leadeth priests away stripped, and overthroweth the mighty.
১৯তেওঁ পুৰোহিত সকলক সৰ্ব্বস্বহীন কৰি লৈ যায়, আৰু পৰাক্ৰমী সকলক বিনষ্ট কৰে।
20 He removeth the speech of men of trust, and taketh away the sense of the elders.
২০তেওঁ বিশ্বাসী সকলৰ বাক-শক্তি দূৰ কৰে, আৰু বৃদ্ধ সকলৰ বিবেচনা-শক্তি কাঢ়ি নিয়ে।
21 He poureth contempt upon princes, and looseth the belt of the strong.
২১তেওঁ ডাঙৰীয়া সকলৰ ওপৰত অপমান বৰষায়, আৰু বলৱন্ত সকলৰ ককালৰ বান্ধোন ঢিলা কৰে।
22 He uncovereth deep things out of darkness, and bringeth out to light the shadow of death.
২২তেওঁ আন্ধৰৰ পৰা নিগূঢ় বিষয়বোৰ প্ৰকাশ কৰে, আৰু মৃত্যুচ্ছায়াকো পোহৰলৈ আনে।
23 He increaseth the nations, and destroyeth them; He enlargeth the nations, and leadeth them away.
২৩তেওঁ জাতি সমূহক উন্নতিপ্ৰাপ্ত কৰে, আৰু বিনষ্টও কৰে; তেওঁ জাতি সমূহক বিস্তাৰিত কৰে, আৰু লৈয়ো যায়।
24 He taketh away the heart of the chiefs of the people of the land, and causeth them to wander in a wilderness where there is no way.
২৪তেওঁ পৃথিবীৰ লোক-সমাজৰ মুখ্যসকলৰ বুদ্ধি দূৰ কৰে, আৰু পথ নোহোৱা অৰণ্যৰ মাজেদি তেওঁলোকক ভ্ৰমণ কৰায়।
25 They grope in the dark without light, and He maketh them to stagger like a drunken man.
২৫তেওঁলোকে পোহৰ নাপাই আন্ধাৰৰ মাজত খপিয়াই ফুৰে; তেওঁ তেওঁলোকক মতলীয়াৰ নিচিনাকৈ ঢলংপলং কৰি ফুৰায়।
