Jeremiah 8
1 At that time, saith the LORD, they shall bring out the bones of the kings of Judah, and the bones of his princes, and the bones of the priests, and the bones of the prophets, and the bones of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, out of their graves;
| استخوانهای پادشاهان یهودا واستخوانهای سرورانش و استخوانهای کهنه واستخوانهای انبیا و استخوانهای سکنه اورشلیم را از قبرهای ایشان بیرون خواهند‌آورد. | ۱ |
2 and they shall spread them before the sun, and the moon, and all the host of heaven, whom they have loved, and whom they have served, and after whom they have walked, and whom they have sought, and whom they have worshipped; they shall not be gathered, nor be buried, they shall be for dung upon the face of the earth.
| و آنهارا پیش آفتاب و ماه و تمامی لشکر آسمان که آنهارا دوست داشته و عبادت کرده و پیروی نموده وجستجو و سجده کرده‌اند پهن خواهند کرد و آنهارا جمع نخواهند نمود و دفن نخواهند کرد بلکه برروی زمین سرگین خواهد بود. | ۲ |
3 And death shall be chosen rather than life by all the residue that remain of this evil family, that remain in all the places whither I have driven them, saith the LORD of hosts.
| و یهوه صبایوت می‌گوید که تمامی بقیه این قبیله شریر که باقی می‌مانند در هر مکانی که باقی‌مانده باشند و من ایشان را بسوی آن رانده باشم مرگ را بر حیات ترجیح خواهند داد. | ۳ |
4 Moreover thou shalt say unto them: Thus saith the LORD: Do men fall, and not rise up again? Doth one turn away, and not return?
| «و ایشان را بگو خداوند چنین می‌فرماید: اگر کسی بیفتد آیا نخواهد برخاست و اگر کسی مرتد شود آیا بازگشت نخواهد نمود؟ | ۴ |
5 Why then is this people of Jerusalem slidden back by a perpetual backsliding? They hold fast deceit, they refuse to return.
| پس چرااین قوم اورشلیم به ارتداد دایمی مرتد شده‌اند وبه فریب متمسک شده، از بازگشت نمودن ابامی نمایند؟ | ۵ |
6 I attended and listened, but they spoke not aright; no man repenteth him of his wickedness, saying: 'What have I done?' Every one turneth away in his course, as a horse that rusheth headlong in the battle.
| من گوش خود را فرا داشته، شنیدم اما براستی تکلم ننمودند و کسی از شرارت خویش توبه نکرده و نگفته است چه کرده‌ام بلکه هر یک مثل اسبی که به جنگ می‌دود به راه خودرجوع می‌کند. | ۶ |
7 Yea, the stork in the heaven knoweth her appointed times; and the turtle and the swallow and the crane observe the time of their coming; but My people know not the ordinance of the LORD.
| لقلق نیز در هوا موسم خود رامی داند و فاخته و پرستوک و کلنک زمان آمدن خود را نگاه می‌دارند لیکن قوم من احکام خداوندرا نمی دانند. | ۷ |
8 How do ye say: 'We are wise, and the Law of the LORD is with us'? Lo, certainly in vain hath wrought the vain pen of the scribes.
| چگونه می‌گویید که ما حکیم هستیم و شریعت خداوند با ما است. به تحقیق قلم کاذب کاتبان به دروغ عمل می‌نماید. | ۸ |
9 The wise men are ashamed, they are dismayed and taken; Lo, they have rejected the word of the LORD; and what wisdom is in them?
| حکیمان شرمنده و مدهوش و گرفتار شده‌اند. اینک کلام خداوند را ترک نموده‌اند پس چه نوع حکمتی دارند. | ۹ |
10 Therefore will I give their wives unto others, and their fields to them that shall possess them; for from the least even unto the greatest every one is greedy for gain, from the prophet even unto the priest every one dealeth falsely.
| بنابراین زنان ایشان را به دیگران خواهم داد و مزرعه های ایشان را به مالکان دیگر. زیرا که جمیع ایشان چه خرد و چه بزرگ پر از طمع می‌باشند و همگی ایشان چه نبی و چه کاهن به فریب عمل می‌نمایند. | ۱۰ |
11 And they have healed the hurt of the daughter of My people lightly, saying: 'Peace, peace', when there is no peace.
| وجراحات قوم مرا اندک شفایی داده‌اند چونکه می‌گویند سلامتی است، سلامتی است، با آنکه سلامتی نیست. | ۱۱ |
12 They shall be put to shame because they have committed abomination; yea, they are not at all ashamed, neither know they how to blush; therefore shall they fall among them that fall, in the time of their visitation they shall stumble, saith the LORD.
| آیا چون مرتکب رجاسات شدند خجل گردیدند؟ نی ابد خجل نشدند بلکه حیا را احساس ننمودند بنابراین خداوندمی گوید: در میان افتادگان خواهند افتاد و حینی که من به ایشان عقوبت رسانم خواهند لغزید.» | ۱۲ |
13 I will utterly consume them, saith the LORD; there are no grapes on the vine, nor figs on the fig-tree, and the leaf is faded; and I gave them that which they transgress.
| خداوند می‌گوید: «ایشان را بالکل تلف خواهم نمود که نه انگور بر مو و نه انجیر بردرخت انجیر یافت شود و برگها پژمرده خواهدشد و آنچه به ایشان بدهم از ایشان زایل خواهدشد.» | ۱۳ |
14 'Why do we sit still? Assemble yourselves, and let us enter into the fortified cities, and let us be cut off there; for the LORD our God hath cut us off, and given us water of gall to drink, because we have sinned against the LORD.
| پس ما چرا می‌نشینیم؟ جمع بشوید تا به شهرهای حصاردار داخل شویم و در آنها ساکت باشیم. زیرا که یهوه خدای ما ما را ساکت گردانیده و آب تلخ به ما نوشانیده است زانرو که به خداوندگناه ورزیده‌ایم. | ۱۴ |
15 We looked for peace, but no good came; and for a time of healing, and behold terror!'
| برای سلامتی انتظار کشیدیم اما هیچ خیر حاصل نشد و برای زمان شفا و اینک آشفتگی پدید آمد. | ۱۵ |
16 The snorting of his horses is heard from Dan; at the sound of the neighing of his strong ones the whole land trembleth; for they are come, and have devoured the land and all that is in it, the city and those that dwell therein.
| صهیل اسبان او از دان شنیده شد و از صدای شیهه زورآورانش تمامی زمین متزلزل گردید زیرا که آمده‌اند و زمین و هرچه در آن است و شهر و ساکنانش را خورده‌اند. | ۱۶ |
17 For, behold, I will send serpents, basilisks, among you, which will not be charmed; and they shall bite you, saith the LORD.
| زیرا خداوند می‌گوید: «اینک من در میان شمامارها و افعیها خواهم فرستاد که آنها را افسون نتوان کرد و شما را خواهند گزید.» | ۱۷ |
18 Though I would take comfort against sorrow, my heart is faint within me.
| کاش که ازغم خود تسلی می‌یافتم. دل من در اندرونم ضعف بهم رسانیده است. | ۱۸ |
19 Behold the voice of the cry of the daughter of my people from a land far off: 'Is not the LORD in Zion? Is not her King in her?' — 'Why have they provoked Me with their graven images, and with strange vanities?' —
| اینک آواز تضرع دختر قوم من از زمین دور می‌آید که آیا خداوند در صهیون نیست و مگر پادشاهش در آن نیست پس چراخشم مرا به بتهای خود و اباطیل بیگانه به هیجان آوردند؟ | ۱۹ |
20 'The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved.'
| موسم حصاد گذشت و تابستان تمام شد و ما نجات نیافتیم. | ۲۰ |
21 For the hurt of the daughter of my people am I seized with anguish; I am black, appalment hath taken hold on me.
| به‌سبب جراحت دخترقوم خود مجروح شده و ماتم گرفته‌ام و حیرت مرا فرو گرفته است. | ۲۱ |
22 Is there no balm in Gilead? Is there no physician there? Why then is not the health of the daughter of my people recovered?
| آیا بلسان در جلعاد نیست و طبیبی در آن نی؟ پس دختر قوم من چرا شفانیافته است؟ | ۲۲ |
