Jeremiah 6
1 Put yourselves under covert, ye children of Benjamin, away from the midst of Jerusalem, and blow the horn in Tekoa, and set up a signal on Beth-cherem; for evil looketh forth from the north, and a great destruction.
| ای بنی بنیامین از اورشلیم فرار کنید و کرنارا در تقوع بنوازید و علامتی بر بیت هکاریم برافرازید زیرا که بلایی از طرف شمال وشکست عظیمی رو خواهد داد. | ۱ |
2 The comely and delicate one, the daughter of Zion, will I cut off.
| و من آن دخترجمیل و لطیف یعنی دختر صهیون را منقطع خواهم ساخت. | ۲ |
3 Shepherds with their flocks come unto her; they pitch their tents against her round about; they feed bare every one what is nigh at hand.
| و شبانان با گله های خویش نزدوی خواهند آمد و خیمه های خود را گرداگرد اوبرپا نموده، هر یک در جای خود خواهند چرانید. | ۳ |
4 'Prepare ye war against her; arise, and let us go up at noon!' 'Woe unto us! for the day declineth, for the shadows of the evening are stretched out!'
| با او جنگ را مهیا سازید و برخاسته، در وقت ظهر برآییم. وای بر ما زیرا که روز رو به زوال نهاده است و سایه های عصر دراز می‌شود. | ۴ |
5 'Arise, and let us go up by night, and let us destroy her palaces.'
| برخیزید! و در شب برآییم تا قصرهایش رامنهدم سازیم. | ۵ |
6 For thus hath the LORD of hosts said: hew ye down her trees, and cast up a mound against Jerusalem; this is the city to be punished; everywhere there is oppression in the midst of her.
| زیرا که یهوه صبایوت چنین می فرماید: «درختان را قطع نموده، مقابل اورشلیم سنگر برپا نمایید. زیرا این است شهری که سزاوار عقوبت است چونکه اندرونش تمام ظلم است. | ۶ |
7 As a cistern welleth with her waters, so she welleth with her wickedness; violence and spoil is heard in her; before Me continually is sickness and wounds.
| مثل چشمه‌ای که آب خود رامی جوشاند همچنان او شرارت خویش رامی جوشاند. ظلم و تاراج در اندرونش شنیده می‌شود و بیماریها و جراحات دایم در نظر من است. | ۷ |
8 Be thou corrected, O Jerusalem, lest My soul be alienated from thee, lest I make thee desolate, a land not inhabited.
| ای اورشلیم، تادیب را بپذیر مبادا جان من از تو بیزار شود و تو را ویران و زمین غیرمسکون گردانم.» | ۸ |
9 Thus saith the LORD of hosts: They shall thoroughly glean as a vine the remnant of Israel; turn again thy hand as a grape-gatherer upon the shoots.
| یهوه صبایوت چنین می‌گوید که «بقیه اسرائیل را مثل مو خوشه چینی خواهند کرد پس مثل کسی‌که انگور می‌چینددست خود را بر شاخه هایش برگردان.» | ۹ |
10 To whom shall I speak and give warning, that they may hear? Behold, their ear is dull, and they cannot attend; behold, the word of the LORD is become unto them a reproach, they have no delight in it.
| کیستند که به ایشان تکلم نموده، شهادت دهم تا بشنوند. هان گوش ایشان نامختون است که نتوانند شنید. اینک کلام خداوند برای ایشان عارگردیده است و در آن رغبت ندارند. | ۱۰ |
11 Therefore I am full of the fury of the LORD, I am weary with holding in: pour it out upon the babes in the street, and upon the assembly of young men together; for even the husband with the wife shall be taken, the aged with him that is full of days.
| و من ازحدت خشم خداوند پر شده‌ام و از خودداری خسته گردیده‌ام پس آن را در کوچه‌ها بر اطفال وبر مجلس جوانان با هم بریز. زیرا که شوهر و زن هر دو گرفتار خواهند شد و شیخ با دیرینه روز. | ۱۱ |
12 And their houses shall be turned unto others, their fields and their wives together; for I will stretch out My hand upon the inhabitants of the land, saith the LORD.
| و خانه‌ها و مزرعه‌ها و زنان ایشان با هم از آن دیگران خواهند شد زیرا خداوند می‌گوید که «دست خود را به ضد ساکنان این زمین درازخواهم کرد. | ۱۲ |
13 For from the least of them even unto the greatest of them every one is greedy for gain; and from the prophet even unto the priest every one dealeth falsely.
| چونکه جمیع ایشان چه خرد وچه بزرگ، پر از طمع شده‌اند و همگی ایشان چه نبی و چه کاهن، فریب را بعمل می‌آورند. | ۱۳ |
14 They have healed also the hurt of My people lightly, saying: 'Peace, peace', when there is no peace.
| وجراحت قوم مرا اندک شفایی دادند، چونکه می‌گویند سلامتی است، سلامتی است با آنکه سلامتی نیست.» | ۱۴ |
15 They shall be put to shame because they have committed abomination; yea, they are not at all ashamed, neither know they how to blush; therefore they shall fall among them that fall, at the time that I punish them they shall stumble, saith the LORD.
| آیا چون مرتکب رجاسات شدند خجل گردیدند؟ نی ابد خجل نشدند بلکه حیا را احساس ننمودند. بنابراین خداوندمی گوید که «در میان افتادگان خواهند افتاد وحینی که من به ایشان عقوبت رسانم خواهندلغزید.» | ۱۵ |
16 Thus saith the LORD: Stand ye in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said: 'We will not walk therein.'
| خداوند چنین می‌گوید: «بر طریق هابایستید و ملاحظه نمایید و درباره طریق های قدیم سوآل نمایید که طریق نیکو کدام است تا درآن سلوک نموده، برای جان خود راحت بیابید، لیکن ایشان جواب دادند که در آن سلوک نخواهیم کرد. | ۱۶ |
17 And I set watchmen over you: 'Attend to the sound of the horn', but they said: 'We will not attend.'
| و من پاسبانان بر شما گماشتم (که می‌گفتند): به آواز کرنا گوش دهید، اما ایشان گفتند گوش نخواهیم داد. | ۱۷ |
18 Therefore hear, ye nations, and know, O congregation, what is against them.
| پس‌ای امت هابشنوید وای جماعت آنچه را که در میان ایشان است بدانید! | ۱۸ |
19 Hear, O earth: Behold, I will bring evil upon this people, even the fruit of their thoughts, because they have not attended unto My words, and as for My teaching, they have rejected it.
| ای زمین بشنو اینک من بلایی براین قوم می‌آورم که ثمره خیالات ایشان خواهدبود زیرا که به کلام من گوش ندادند و شریعت مرانیز ترک نمودند. | ۱۹ |
20 To what purpose is to Me the frankincense that cometh from Sheba, and the sweet cane, from a far country? Your burnt-offerings are not acceptable, nor your sacrifices pleasing unto Me.
| چه فایده دارد که بخور از سباو قصب الذریره از زمین بعید برای من آورده می‌شود. قربانی های سوختنی شما مقبول نیست و ذبایح شما پسندیده من نی.» | ۲۰ |
21 Therefore thus saith the LORD: Behold, I will lay stumblingblocks before this people, and the fathers and the sons together shall stumble against them, the neighbour and his friend, and they shall perish.
| بنابراین خداوند چنین می‌گوید: «اینک من پیش روی این قوم سنگهای لغزش دهنده خواهم نهاد و پدران وپسران با هم از آنها لغزش خواهند خورد و ساکن زمین با همسایه‌اش هلاک خواهند شد.» | ۲۱ |
22 Thus saith the LORD: Behold, a people cometh from the north country, and a great nation shall be roused from the uttermost parts of the earth.
| خداوند چنین می‌گوید: «اینک قومی اززمین شمال می‌آورم و امتی عظیم از اقصای زمین خواهند برخاست. | ۲۲ |
23 They lay hold on bow and spear, they are cruel, and have no compassion; their voice is like the roaring sea, and they ride upon horses; set in array, as a man for war, against thee, O daughter of Zion.
| و کمان و نیزه خواهندگرفت. ایشان مردان ستمکیش می‌باشند که ترحم ندارند. به آواز خود مثل دریا شورش خواهندنمود و بر اسبان سوار شده، مثل مردان جنگی به ضد تو‌ای دختر صهیون صف آرایی خواهندکرد.» | ۲۳ |
24 'We have heard the fame thereof, our hands wax feeble, anguish hath taken hold of us, and pain, as of a woman in travail.'
| آوازه این را شنیدیم و دستهای ما سست گردید. تنگی و درد مثل زنی که می‌زاید ما را درگرفته است. | ۲۴ |
25 Go not forth into the field, nor walk by the way; for there is the sword of the enemy, and terror on every side.
| به صحرا بیرون مشوید و به راه مروید زیرا که شمشیر دشمنان و خوف از هرطرف است. | ۲۵ |
26 O daughter of my people, gird thee with sackcloth, and wallow thyself in ashes; make thee mourning, as for an only son, most bitter lamentation; for the spoiler shall suddenly come upon us.
| ای دختر قوم من پلاس بپوش وخویشتن را در خاکستر بغلطان. ماتم پسر یگانه ونوحه گری تلخ برای خود بکن زیرا که تاراج کننده ناگهان بر ما می‌آید. | ۲۶ |
27 I have made thee a tower and a fortress among My people; that thou mayest know and try their way.
| تو را در میان قوم خودامتحان کننده و قلعه قرار دادم تا راههای ایشان رابفهمی و امتحان کنی. | ۲۷ |
28 They are all grievous revolters, going about with slanders; they are brass and iron; they all of them deal corruptly.
| همه ایشان سخت متمرد شده‌اند و برای نمامی کردن گردش می‌کنند. برنج و آهن می‌باشند و جمیع ایشان فساد کننده‌اند. | ۲۸ |
29 The bellows blow fiercely, the lead is consumed of the fire; in vain doth the founder refine, for the wicked are not separated.
| دم پر زور می‌دمد و سرب درآتش فانی می‌گردد و قالگر عبث قال می‌گذاردزیرا که شریران جدا نمی شوند. | ۲۹ |
30 Refuse silver shall men call them, because the LORD hath rejected them.
| نقره ترک شده نامیده می‌شوند زیرا خداوند ایشان را ترک کرده است. | ۳۰ |
