Isaiah 66
1 Thus saith the LORD: The heaven is My throne, and the earth is My footstool; where is the house that ye may build unto Me? And where is the place that may be My resting-place?
യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: “സ്വർഗം എന്റെ സിംഹാസനവും ഭൂമി എന്റെ പാദപീഠവും ആകുന്നു. നിങ്ങൾ എനിക്കുവേണ്ടി നിർമിക്കുന്ന ആലയം എവിടെ? എന്റെ വിശ്രമസ്ഥലം എവിടെ?
2 For all these things hath My hand made, and so all these things came to be, saith the LORD; but on this man will I look, even on him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at My word.
എന്റെ കരങ്ങളാണല്ലോ ഇവയെല്ലാം നിർമിച്ചത്, അങ്ങനെയാണല്ലോ ഇവയെല്ലാം ഉളവായിവന്നത്,” എന്ന് യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു. “വിനയശീലരും മനസ്സുതകർന്നവരും എന്റെ വചനത്തിൽ വിറയ്ക്കുന്നവരുമായ മനുഷ്യരോടാണ് ഞാൻ കരുണയോടെ കടാക്ഷിക്കുന്നത്.
3 He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he broke a dog's neck; he that offereth a meal-offering, as if he offered swine's blood; he that maketh a memorial-offering of frankincense, as if he blessed an idol; according as they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations;
എന്നാൽ ഒരു കാളയെ യാഗമർപ്പിക്കുന്നവർ ഒരു മനുഷ്യനെ വധിക്കുന്നവരെപ്പോലെയാണ്, ഒരു ആട്ടിൻകുട്ടിയെ യാഗം കഴിക്കുന്നവർ ഒരു നായുടെ കഴുത്ത് ഒടിക്കുന്നവരെപ്പോലെയും ഒരു ഭോജനയാഗം അർപ്പിക്കുന്നവർ പന്നിയുടെ രക്തം അർപ്പിക്കുന്നവരെപ്പോലെയും സുഗന്ധധൂപം സ്മാരകമായി അർപ്പിക്കുന്നവർ വിഗ്രഹത്തെ പൂജിക്കുന്നവരെപ്പോലെയുമാണ്. അവരെല്ലാം സ്വന്തവഴികൾ തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുകയും അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ മ്ലേച്ഛതയിൽ ആഹ്ലാദിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.
4 Even so I will choose their mockings, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spoke, they did not hear, but they did that which was evil in Mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.
അതുകൊണ്ട് ഞാനും അവരെ കഠിനമായി ശിക്ഷിക്കുന്നതു തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കും അവർ ഭയപ്പെട്ടത് ഞാൻ അവരുടെമേൽ വരുത്തും. ഞാൻ വിളിച്ചു, ആരും ഉത്തരം നൽകിയില്ല, ഞാൻ സംസാരിച്ചു, ആരും ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചില്ല. അവർ എന്റെമുമ്പിൽ തിന്മ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുകയും എനിക്കു പ്രസാദമില്ലാത്തത് തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.”
5 Hear the word of the LORD, ye that tremble at His word: Your brethren that hate you, that cast you out for My name's sake, have said: 'Let the LORD be glorified, that we may gaze upon your joy', but they shall be ashamed.
യഹോവയുടെ വചനത്തിൽ വിറയ്ക്കുന്നവരേ, അവിടത്തെ വചനം കേൾക്കുക: “നിങ്ങളെ വെറുക്കുകയും എന്റെ നാമംനിമിത്തം നിങ്ങളെ ഭ്രഷ്ടരാക്കുകയും ചെയ്ത നിങ്ങളുടെ സ്വന്തം ജനം: ‘നിങ്ങളുടെ ആഹ്ലാദം ഞങ്ങൾ കാണേണ്ടതിന് യഹോവ മഹത്ത്വപ്പെട്ടവനാകട്ടെ!’ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞുവല്ലോ. എന്നിട്ടും അവർ ലജ്ജിതരാക്കപ്പെടും.
6 Hark! an uproar from the city, Hark! it cometh from the temple, Hark! the LORD rendereth recompense to His enemies.
നഗരത്തിൽനിന്നുള്ള ബഹളം കേൾക്കുക, ദൈവാലയത്തിൽനിന്നുള്ള ഘോഷം കേൾക്കുക! തന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളോട് അവർ അർഹിക്കുന്നത് പ്രതികാരംചെയ്യുന്ന യഹോവയുടെ ശബ്ദമാണോ ഈ കേൾക്കുന്നത്.
7 Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man-child.
“പ്രസവവേദന അനുഭവിക്കുന്നതിനുമുമ്പേ, അവൾ പ്രസവിക്കുന്നു; നോവു കിട്ടുന്നതിനു മുമ്പുതന്നെ അവൾ ഒരു മകനു ജന്മംനൽകുന്നു.
8 Who hath heard such a thing? Who hath seen such things? Is a land born in one day? Is a nation brought forth at once? For as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.
ഇപ്രകാരമുള്ള ഒന്ന് ആരെങ്കിലും കേട്ടിട്ടുണ്ടോ? ഈ വിധമുള്ളത് ആരെങ്കിലും കണ്ടിട്ടുണ്ടോ? ഒരു ദിവസംകൊണ്ട് ഒരു രാജ്യം ജനിക്കുമോ? ഒരു നിമിഷംകൊണ്ട് ഒരു ജനത ഉത്ഭവിക്കുമോ? സീയോന് നോവുകിട്ടിയ ഉടൻതന്നെ അവൾ മക്കളെ പ്രസവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
9 Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the LORD; Shall I that cause to bring forth shut the womb? saith thy God.
ഞാൻ പ്രസവത്തിന്റെ നിമിഷംവരെ കൊണ്ടുവന്നശേഷം പ്രസവിപ്പിക്കാതിരിക്കുമോ?” എന്ന് യഹോവ ചോദിക്കുന്നു. “പ്രസവമെടുക്കുന്ന ഞാൻ ഗർഭദ്വാരം അടച്ചുകളയുമോ?” എന്ന് നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവം ചോദിക്കുന്നു.
10 Rejoice ye with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all ye that love her; rejoice for joy with her, all ye that mourn for her;
“ജെറുശലേമിനെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്ന എല്ലാവരുമേ, അവളോടൊപ്പം ആനന്ദിച്ച് ആഹ്ലാദിക്കുക; അവളെക്കുറിച്ചു വിലപിക്കുന്നവരേ അവളോടുകൂടെ അതിയായി ആനന്ദിക്കുക.
11 That ye may suck, and be satisfied with the breast of her consolations; that ye may drink deeply with delight of the abundance of her glory.
ഒരു ശിശു തന്റെ മാതാവിന്റെ സാന്ത്വനംനൽകുന്ന സ്തനങ്ങൾ വലിച്ചുകുടിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ അവളുടെ കവിഞ്ഞൊഴുകുന്ന സമൃദ്ധി നുകർന്നു നിങ്ങൾ തൃപ്തിയടയും.”
12 For thus saith the LORD: Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the wealth of the nations like an overflowing stream, and ye shall suck thereof: Ye shall be borne upon the side, and shall be dandled upon the knees.
യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: “ഇതാ, ഒരു നദിയെന്നപോലെ സമാധാനവും കവിഞ്ഞൊഴുകുന്ന അരുവിപോലെ ജനതകളുടെ ധനവും ഞാൻ അവൾക്കു വർധിപ്പിക്കും; നിങ്ങൾ മുലപ്പാൽ കുടിക്കുകയും നിങ്ങളെ ഒക്കത്ത് എടുത്തുകൊണ്ടു നടക്കുകയും മടിയിൽ ഇരുത്തി ലാളിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും.
13 As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem.
അമ്മ അവളുടെ കുഞ്ഞിനെ ആശ്വസിപ്പിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ ആശ്വസിപ്പിക്കും; നിങ്ങൾ ജെറുശലേമിനെക്കുറിച്ച് ആശ്വസ്തരാകും.”
14 And when ye see this, your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like young grass; and the hand of the LORD shall be known toward His servants, and He will have indignation against His enemies.
ഇതു നിങ്ങൾ കാണുമ്പോൾ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയം ആനന്ദിക്കും, നിങ്ങളുടെ അസ്ഥികൾ ഇളംപുല്ലുപോലെ തഴച്ചുവളരും; യഹോവയുടെ കരം അവിടത്തെ ദാസന്മാർക്കു വെളിപ്പെടും, എന്നാൽ തന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളോട് അവിടന്നു ക്രുദ്ധനാകും.
15 For, behold, the LORD will come in fire, and His chariots shall be like the whirlwind; to render His anger with fury, and His rebuke with flames of fire.
യഹോവ തന്റെ കോപം ഉഗ്രതയോടും തന്റെ ശാസന അഗ്നിജ്വാലകളോടും കൂടെ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തും; ഇതാ, അവിടന്ന് അഗ്നിയിൽ പ്രത്യക്ഷനാകും, അവിടത്തെ രഥങ്ങൾ ചുഴലിക്കാറ്റുപോലെ ആയിരിക്കും.
16 For by fire will the LORD contend, and by His sword with all flesh; and the slain of the LORD shall be many.
അഗ്നിയാലും തന്റെ വാളിനാലും സകലജനത്തിന്മേലും യഹോവ ന്യായവിധി നടപ്പിലാക്കും, യഹോവയാൽ വധിക്കപ്പെടുന്നവർ നിരവധിയായിരിക്കും.
17 They that sanctify themselves and purify themselves to go unto the gardens, behind one in the midst, eating swine's flesh, and the detestable thing, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith the LORD.
“പന്നിയിറച്ചി, ചുണ്ടെലി, മറ്റ് നിഷിദ്ധവസ്തുക്കൾ തിന്നുന്നവരെ അനുഗമിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് തോട്ടങ്ങൾക്കുള്ളിലേക്കു പോകാനായി തങ്ങളെത്തന്നെ വിശുദ്ധീകരിക്കുന്നവർ, അവർ ആരെ അനുഗമിക്കുന്നുവോ അവരുടെയും ഇവരുടെയും അന്ത്യം ഒന്നുതന്നെയായിരിക്കും,” എന്ന് യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.
18 For I know their works and their thoughts; the time cometh, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and shall see My glory.
“ഞാൻ അവരുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികളെയും ചിന്തകളെയും അറിയുന്നു. ഞാൻ സകലരാഷ്ട്രങ്ങളിലെ ജനത്തെയും ഭാഷക്കാരെയും ഒരുമിച്ചുകൂട്ടും, അവരെല്ലാം വന്ന് എന്റെ മഹത്ത്വം കാണും.
19 And I will work a sign among them, and I will send such as escape of them unto the nations, to Tarshish, Pul and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal and Javan, to the isles afar off, that have not heard My fame, neither have seen My glory; and they shall declare My glory among the nations.
“ഞാൻ അവരുടെ ഇടയിൽ ഒരു ചിഹ്നം സ്ഥാപിക്കും; അവരിൽ ശേഷിക്കുന്ന ചിലരെ തർശീശ്, ലിബിയ, വില്ലാളികളുടെ നാടായ ലൂദ്, തൂബാൽ, ഗ്രീസ് എന്നീ രാഷ്ട്രങ്ങളിലേക്കും എന്റെ നാമം കേൾക്കുകയോ എന്റെ മഹത്ത്വം ദർശിക്കുകയോ ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ലാത്ത വിദൂരദ്വീപുകളിലേക്കും അയയ്ക്കും. അവർ ഈ ജനതകൾക്കിടയിൽ എന്റെ മഹത്ത്വം വിളംബരംചെയ്യും.
20 And they shall bring all your brethren out of all the nations for an offering unto the LORD, upon horses, and in chariots, and in fitters, and upon mules, and upon swift beasts, to My holy mountain Jerusalem, saith the LORD, as the children of Israel bring their offering in a clean vessel into the house of the LORD.
ഇസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ ആചാരപരമായി വെടിപ്പുള്ള ഒരു പാത്രത്തിൽ യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിലേക്കു ഭോജനയാഗങ്ങൾ കൊണ്ടുവരുന്നതുപോലെ അവർ സകലജനതകളുടെയും ഇടയിൽനിന്ന് നിങ്ങളുടെ സകലജനത്തെയും എല്ലാ രാജ്യങ്ങളിൽനിന്നും കുതിരപ്പുറത്തും രഥങ്ങളിലും പല്ലക്കുകളിലും കോവർകഴുതപ്പുറത്തും ഒട്ടകപ്പുറത്തും കയറ്റി എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധപർവതമായ ജെറുശലേമിലേക്ക് യഹോവയ്ക്ക് ഒരു വഴിപാടായി കൊണ്ടുവരും,” എന്ന് യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.
21 And of them also will I take for the priests and for the Levites, saith the LORD.
“അവരുടെ ഇടയിൽനിന്ന് ഞാൻ ചിലരെ പുരോഹിതന്മാരായും ലേവ്യരായും തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കും,” എന്നും യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.
22 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before Me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.
“ഞാൻ ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്ന പുതിയ ആകാശവും പുതിയ ഭൂമിയും എന്റെമുമ്പിൽ നിലനിൽക്കുന്നതുപോലെ നിങ്ങളുടെ പേരും പിൻഗാമികളും നിലനിൽക്കും,” എന്ന് യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാട്.
23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before Me, saith the LORD.
“ഒരു അമാവാസിമുതൽ മറ്റൊരു അമാവാസിവരെയും ഒരു ശബ്ബത്തുമുതൽ മറ്റൊരു ശബ്ബത്തുവരെയും എല്ലാ മനുഷ്യരും എന്റെ സന്നിധിയിൽ നമസ്കരിക്കാൻ വരും,” എന്ന് യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.
24 And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcasses of the men that have rebelled against Me; for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.
“അവർ പുറപ്പെട്ടുചെന്ന് എനിക്കെതിരേ മത്സരിച്ച മനുഷ്യരുടെ ശവങ്ങൾ നോക്കും; അവരെ തിന്നുന്ന പുഴു ചാകുകയില്ല, അവരെ ദഹിപ്പിക്കുന്ന അഗ്നി കെട്ടുപോകുകയുമില്ല. അവർ സകലമനുഷ്യവർഗത്തിനും അറപ്പായിരിക്കും.”
