Isaiah 65
1 I gave access to them that asked not for Me, I was at hand to them that sought Me not; I said: 'Behold Me, behold Me', unto a nation that was not called by My name.
“যারা আমাকে চায়নি, আমি তাদের কাছে নিজেকে প্রকাশ করেছি; যারা আমার অন্বেষণ করেনি, তারা আমাকে খুঁজে পেয়েছে। যে জাতি আমার নামে ডাকেনি, তাদের আমি বলেছি, ‘এই আমি, এই যে আমি এখানে।’
2 I have spread out My hands all the day unto a rebellious people, that walk in a way that is not good, after their own thoughts;
সমস্ত দিন, আমি এক বিদ্রোহী প্রজাবৃন্দের উদ্দেশে আমার দু-হাত বাড়িয়ে রেখেছিলাম, তারা এমন সব জীবনযাপন করে, যা ভালো নয়, তারা নিজেদের কল্পনা অনুযায়ী কাজ করে।
3 A people that provoke Me to My face continually, that sacrifice in gardens, and burn incense upon bricks;
তারা এমন এক জাতি, যারা আমার মুখের উপরেই নিত্য আমাকে প্ররোচিত করে, বিভিন্ন উদ্যানের মধ্যে বলি দেয় ও ইটের তৈরি বেদির উপরে ধূপদাহ করে;
4 That sit among the graves, and lodge in the vaults; that eat swine's flesh, and broth of abominable things is in their vessels;
তারা কবরের স্থানগুলিতে বসে গুপ্ত স্থানে রাত জেগে কাটায়; তারা শূকরের মাংস ভোজন করে ও তাদের পাত্রে অশুচি মাংসের ঝোল থাকে।
5 That say: 'Stand by thyself, come not near to me, for I am holier than thou'; these are a smoke in My nose, a fire that burneth all the day.
তারা বলে, ‘দূরে থাকো; আমার কাছে এসো না, কারণ আমি তোমাদের চেয়ে বেশি পবিত্র!’ এই লোকেরা আমার নাকের কাছে ধোঁয়ার মতো, সমস্ত দিন তারা যেন প্রজ্বলিত আগুন।
6 Behold, it is written before Me; I will not keep silence, except I have requited, yea, I will requite into their bosom,
“দেখো, এ আমার সামনে লিখিত আছে: আমি নীরব থাকব না, কিন্তু পূর্ণ প্রতিফল দেব; আমি তাদের কোলেই তা ফিরিয়ে দেব—
7 Your own iniquities, and the iniquities of your fathers together, saith the LORD, that have offered upon the mountains, and blasphemed Me upon the hills; therefore will I first measure their wage into their bosom.
তোমাদের পাপ ও তোমাদের পিতৃপুরুষদের কৃত যত পাপ,” সদাপ্রভু এই কথা বলেন। “যেহেতু তারা পর্বতে পর্বতে ধূপ জ্বালিয়েছে এবং পাহাড়গুলির উপরে আমাকে অপমান করেছে, আমি তাদের পূর্বেকার কৃতকর্ম অনুযায়ী পূর্ণমাত্রায় তাদের প্রতিশোধ দেব।”
8 Thus saith the LORD: As, when wine is found in the cluster, one saith: 'Destroy it not, for a blessing is in it'; so will I do for My servants' sakes, that I may not destroy all.
সদাপ্রভু এই কথা বলেন, “যেমন দ্রাক্ষাফলের গুচ্ছে রস পূর্ণ দেখে, লোকেরা বলে, ‘এটি নষ্ট কোরো না, কারণ এতে এখনও আশীর্বাদ আছে,’ তেমনই আমি আমার দাসদের পক্ষে করব; আমি তাদের সবাইকে ধ্বংস করব না।
9 And I will bring forth a seed out of Jacob, and out of Judah an inheritor of My mountains; and Mine elect shall inherit it, and My servants shall dwell there.
আমি যাকোবের কুল থেকে এক বংশের, এবং যিহূদা থেকে আমার পর্বতগুলির এক উত্তরাধিকারীকে তুলে ধরব; আমার মনোনীত প্রজারা তা অধিকার করবে, সেখানে আমার দাসেরা বসবাস করবে।
10 And Sharon shall be a fold of flocks, and the valley of Achor a place for herds to lie down in, for My people that have sought Me;
আমার অন্বেষী প্রজাদের জন্য, শারোণ মেষপালের এক চারণভূমি হবে, আর আখোর উপত্যকা হবে পশুপালের এক বিশ্রামস্থান।
11 But ye that forsake the LORD, that forget My holy mountain, that prepare a table for Fortune, and that offer mingled wine in full measure unto Destiny,
“কিন্তু তোমরা যারা সদাপ্রভুকে পরিত্যাগ করো, ও আমার পবিত্র পর্বতকে ভুলে যাও, যারা ভাগ্যদেবের জন্য মেজ সাজাও ও নিয়তিদেবের উদ্দেশে মিশ্রিত সুরার পাত্র পূর্ণ করো,
12 I will destine you to the sword, and ye shall all bow down to the slaughter; because when I called, ye did not answer, when I spoke, ye did not hear; but ye did that which was evil in Mine eyes, and chose that wherein I delighted not.
আমি তাদের জন্য তরোয়াল নিরূপণ করব, তখন তোমরা ঘাতকদের কাছে মাথা নিচু করবে; কারণ আমি ডাকলে তোমরা উত্তর দিতে না, আমি কথা বললে তোমরা শুনতে না। তোমরা আমার দৃষ্টিতে অন্যায় করেছ, যা আমাকে অসন্তুষ্ট করে, তোমরা তাই করেছ।”
13 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD: Behold, My servants shall eat, but ye shall be hungry; Behold, My servants shall drink, but ye shall be thirsty; Behold, My servants shall rejoice, but ye shall be ashamed;
সেই কারণে, সার্বভৌম সদাপ্রভু এই কথা বলেন, “আমার দাসেরা ভোজন করবে, কিন্তু তোমরা ক্ষুধার্ত থাকবে; আমার দাসেরা পান করবে, কিন্তু তোমরা তৃষ্ণার্ত থাকবে; আমার দাসেরা আনন্দ করবে, কিন্তু তোমরা লজ্জিত হবে।
14 Behold, My servants shall sing for joy of heart, but ye shall cry for sorrow of heart, and shall wail for vexation of spirit.
আমার দাসেরা গান গাইবে তাদের মনের আনন্দে, কিন্তু তোমাদের মনস্তাপের জন্য তোমরা কাঁদতে থাকবে ও ভগ্ন আত্মার জ্বালায় হাহাকার করবে।
15 And ye shall leave your name for a curse unto Mine elect: 'So may the Lord GOD slay thee'; but He shall call His servants by another name;
তোমরা আমার মনোনীত লোকদের মাঝে তোমাদের নাম অভিশাপরূপে রেখে যাবে; সার্বভৌম সদাপ্রভু তোমাদের মৃত্যুতে সমর্পণ করবেন, কিন্তু তাঁর দাসেদের তিনি অন্য এক নাম দেবেন।
16 So that he who blesseth himself in the earth shall bless himself by the God of truth; and he that sweareth in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hid from Mine eyes.
কেউ যদি দেশে কোনো আশীর্বাদের জন্য মিনতি করে, সে সত্যময় ঈশ্বরের নামেই তা করবে; যে দেশে কোনো শপথ গ্রহণ করে, সে সত্যময় ঈশ্বরের নামেই তা করবে। কারণ অতীতের সব দুঃখকষ্ট বিস্মৃত হবে, আমার চোখ থেকে তা গুপ্ত থাকবে।
17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; and the former things shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.
“দেখো, আমি নতুন আকাশমণ্ডল ও এক নতুন পৃথিবী সৃষ্টি করি। পূর্বের বিষয়গুলি আর স্মরণ করা হবে না, সেগুলি আর মনেও আসবে না।
18 But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create; for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.
কিন্তু আমি যা সৃষ্টি করব, তার জন্য আনন্দিত ও চিরকালের জন্য উল্লসিত হও, কারণ আমি জেরুশালেমকে হর্ষের জন্য ও তার লোকেদের আনন্দের জন্য সৃষ্টি করব।
19 And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in My people; and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.
আমি জেরুশালেমের জন্য উল্লসিত হব ও আমার প্রজাদের জন্য হর্ষিত হব; ক্রন্দন কিংবা বিলাপের ধ্বনি আর কখনও সেখানে শোনা যাবে না।
20 There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man, that hath not filled his days; for the youngest shall die a hundred years old, and the sinner being a hundred years old shall be accursed.
“আর কখনও তার মধ্যে কোনো শিশু কিছুকাল বেঁচে থেকে কিংবা কোনো বৃদ্ধ পূর্ণবয়স্ক না হয়ে মারা যাবে না; যে একশো বছর বয়সে মারা যায়, তাকে নিতান্তই যুবক বলা হবে; আর যে পাপীর একশো বছর পরমায়ু হয় না, সে অভিশপ্ত বিবেচিত হবে।
21 And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them.
তারা ঘরবাড়ি নির্মাণ করে সেগুলির মধ্যে বসবাস করবে; তারা দ্রাক্ষাকুঞ্জ রোপণ করে তার ফল ভক্ষণ করবে।
22 They shall not build, and another inhabit, they shall not plant, and another eat; for as the days of a tree shall be the days of My people, and Mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands.
তারা গৃহ নির্মাণ করলে, আর কখনও তার মধ্যে অন্য কেউ বাস করবে না, বা বৃক্ষরোপণ করলে, অন্য কেউ তার ফল খাবে না। কারণ কোনো বৃক্ষের আয়ুর মতোই আমার প্রজাদের পরমায়ু হবে; আমার মনোনীত লোকেরা দীর্ঘদিন তাদের হস্তকৃত কর্মফল উপভোগ করবে।
23 They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for terror; for they are the seed blessed of the LORD, and their offspring with them.
তারা বৃথা পরিশ্রম করবে না, বা দুর্ভাগ্যের জন্য সন্তানদের জন্ম দেবে না; কারণ তারা এবং তাদের বংশধরেরা সদাপ্রভুর আশীর্বাদধন্য এক জাতি হবে।
24 And it shall come to pass that, before they call, I will answer, and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.
তারা ডাকবার আগেই আমি উত্তর দেব; তারা কথা বলতে না বলতেই আমি তা শুনব।
25 The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the ox; and dust shall be the serpent's food. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain, saith the LORD.
নেকড়েবাঘ ও মেষশাবক একসঙ্গে চরে বেড়াবে, সিংহ বলদের মতোই বিচালি খাবে এবং ধুলোই হবে সাপের খাবার। আমার পবিত্র পর্বতের কোনো স্থানে তারা কোনো ক্ষতি বা ধ্বংস করতে পারবে না,” সদাপ্রভু এই কথা বলেন।
