Isaiah 62
1 For Zion's sake will I not hold My peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until her triumph go forth as brightness, and her salvation as a torch that burneth.
Por causa de Sión no me quedaré callado, y por causa de Jerusalén no descansaré hasta que su justicia salga como el resplandor del sol y su salvación como una luz ardiente.
2 And the nations shall see thy triumph, and all kings thy glory; and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall mark out.
Y las naciones verán tu justicia, y todos los reyes, tu gloria; y tendrás un nombre nuevo, dado por la boca del Señor.
3 Thou shalt also be a crown of beauty in the hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem in the open hand of thy God.
Y serás una hermosa corona de gloria en la mano del Señor, y diadema real en la mano de tu Dios.
4 Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken, neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate; but thou shalt be called, My delight is in her, and thy land, Espoused; for the LORD delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be espoused.
No te llamarán ahora: Abandonada; y tu tierra ya no será nombrada, la tierra baldía, pero tendrás el nombre, Mi placer está en ella, y tu tierra será nombrada, Casada, porque el Señor tiene placer en ti, y tu tierra será casada.
5 For as a young man espouseth a virgin, so shall thy sons espouse thee; and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee.
Porque como un joven toma una virgen para su esposa, así se casará contigo tu hacedor; y como el marido tiene gozo en su novia, así se alegrará el Señor tu Dios por ti.
6 I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, they shall never hold their peace day nor night: 'Ye that are the LORD'S remembrancers, take ye no rest,
He puesto guardias en tus muros, oh Jerusalén; no se mantendrán callados ni de día ni de noche dicen: ustedes que recuerdan al Señor, no descansen,
7 And give Him no rest, till He establish, and till He make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.'
Y no le des descanso hasta que ponga a Jerusalén en su lugar para ser alabada en la tierra.
8 The LORD hath sworn by His right hand, and by the arm of His strength: Surely I will no more give thy corn to be food for thine enemies; and strangers shall not drink thy wine, for which thou hast laboured;
El Señor ha hecho un juramento por su mano derecha, y por el brazo de su poder. En verdad, ya no daré tu grano para que sea alimento para tus enemigos y los hombres de países extranjeros no tomarán el vino que has hecho con tu trabajo.
9 But they that have garnered it shall eat it, and praise the LORD, and they that have gathered it shall drink it in the courts of My sanctuary.
Pero los que recogen el grano lo tendrán como alimento, y alabarán al Señor; y los que recogen las uvas tomarán el vino de ellos en los atrios de mi Santo templo.
10 Go through, go through the gates, clear ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway, gather out the stones; lift up an ensign over the peoples.
Pasa, pasa por las puertas; Prepara el camino de la gente, construyan, construyan la calzada; que se quiten las piedras; Que se levante una bandera sobre los pueblos.
11 Behold, the LORD hath proclaimed unto the end of the earth: say ye to the daughter of Zion: 'Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, His reward is with Him, and His recompense before Him.'
El Señor ha enviado palabra al fin de la tierra: Di a la hija de Sión: Mira, tu salvador viene. Los que él ha hecho libres están con él, y aquellos a quienes dio la salvación van delante de él.
12 And they shall call them The holy people, The redeemed of the LORD; and thou shalt be called Sought out, a city not forsaken.
Y se llamarán, El pueblo santo, Aquellos que han sido liberados por el Señor; y serás nombrada, Deseada, Un pueblo no abandonado.
