Isaiah 62

1 For Zion's sake will I not hold My peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until her triumph go forth as brightness, and her salvation as a torch that burneth.

Por el bien de Sión no callaré, y por el bien de Jerusalén no descansaré, hasta que su rectitud brille como el amanecer, y su salvación como una lámpara encendida.

2 And the nations shall see thy triumph, and all kings thy glory; and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall mark out.

Las naciones verán tu justicia, y todos los reyes tu gloria. Se le llamará por un nuevo nombre, que la boca de Yahvé nombrará.

3 Thou shalt also be a crown of beauty in the hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem in the open hand of thy God.

Tú también serás una corona de belleza en la mano de Yahvé, y una diadema real en la mano de tu Dios.

4 Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken, neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate; but thou shalt be called, My delight is in her, and thy land, Espoused; for the LORD delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be espoused.

Ya no te llamarán Desamparado, ni tu tierra se llamará nunca más Desolada; pero te llamarán Hephzibah, y tu tierra Beulah; porque Yahvé se deleita en ti, y tu tierra se casará.

5 For as a young man espouseth a virgin, so shall thy sons espouse thee; and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee.

Porque como un joven se casa con una virgen, para que tus hijos se casen contigo. Como un novio se regocija por su novia, para que tu Dios se alegre de ti.

6 I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, they shall never hold their peace day nor night: 'Ye that are the LORD'S remembrancers, take ye no rest,

He puesto centinelas en tus muros, Jerusalén. Nunca estarán en silencio ni de día ni de noche. Tú que invocas a Yahvé, no descanses,

7 And give Him no rest, till He establish, and till He make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.'

y no le den descanso hasta que se establezca, y hasta que haga de Jerusalén una alabanza en la tierra.

8 The LORD hath sworn by His right hand, and by the arm of His strength: Surely I will no more give thy corn to be food for thine enemies; and strangers shall not drink thy wine, for which thou hast laboured;

Yahvé ha jurado por su mano derecha, y por el brazo de su fuerza, “Ciertamente no daré más tu grano para que sea alimento de tus enemigos, y los extranjeros no beberán tu vino nuevo, por el que has trabajado,

9 But they that have garnered it shall eat it, and praise the LORD, and they that have gathered it shall drink it in the courts of My sanctuary.

pero los que lo han cosechado lo comerán y alabarán a Yahvé. Los que lo hayan recogido lo beberán en los atrios de mi santuario”.

10 Go through, go through the gates, clear ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway, gather out the stones; lift up an ensign over the peoples.

¡Pasa, pasa por las puertas! ¡Preparen el camino del pueblo! ¡Construyan, construyan la autopista! ¡Recojan las piedras! Levantar una bandera para los pueblos.

11 Behold, the LORD hath proclaimed unto the end of the earth: say ye to the daughter of Zion: 'Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, His reward is with Him, and His recompense before Him.'

He aquí que Yahvé ha proclamado hasta el fin de la tierra: “Di a la hija de Sión, He aquí que viene tu salvación. He aquí que su recompensa está con él, y su recompensa ante él”.

12 And they shall call them The holy people, The redeemed of the LORD; and thou shalt be called Sought out, a city not forsaken.

Los llamarán “El Pueblo Santo”, Los redimidos de Yahvé”. Se le llamará “Buscada”, Una ciudad no abandonada”.
