Isaiah 60
1 Arise, shine, for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.
“Kalk, parla; Çünkü Işığın geliyor, RAB'bin yüceliği üzerine doğuyor.
2 For, behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the peoples; but upon thee the LORD will arise, and His glory shall be seen upon thee.
Dünyayı karanlık, halkları koyu karanlık örtüyor; Oysa RAB senin üzerine doğacak, Yüceliği üzerinde görünecek.
3 And nations shall walk at thy light, and kings at the brightness of thy rising.
Uluslar senin Işığına, Krallar üzerine doğan aydınlığa gelecek.
4 Lift up thine eyes round about, and see: they all are gathered together, and come to thee; thy sons come from far, and thy daughters are borne on the side.
“Başını kaldır da çevrene bir bak, Hepsi toplanmış sana geliyor. Oğulların uzaktan geliyor, Kızların kucakta taşınıyor.
5 Then thou shalt see and be radiant, and thy heart shall throb and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea shall be turned unto thee, the wealth of the nations shall come unto thee.
Bunu görünce yüzün parlayacak, Yüreğin heyecandan hızlı hızlı çarpacak; Çünkü denizin zenginlikleri senin olacak, Ulusların serveti sana akacak.
6 The caravan of camels shall cover thee, and of the young camels of Midian and Ephah, all coming from Sheba; they shall bring gold and incense, and shall proclaim the praises of the LORD.
“Deve sürüleri, Midyan'ın ve Efa'nın deve yavruları Senin topraklarını dolduracak. Bütün Saba halkı geliyor, Altın ve günnük getiriyor, RAB'bin erdemlerini ilan ediyorlar.
7 All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together unto thee, the rams of Nebaioth shall minister unto thee; they shall come up with acceptance on Mine altar, and I will glorify My glorious house.
Kedar'ın bütün sürüleri sana gelecek, Nevayot'un koçları senin buyruğunda olacak, Sunağımın üzerinde kabul edilen sunular olarak sunulacak. Böylece görkemli tapınağımı daha görkemli kılacağım.
8 Who are these that fly as a cloud, and as the doves to their cotes?
“Nedir bunlar, bulut gibi, Yuvalarına yaklaşan güvercinler gibi süzülüp gelenler?
9 Surely the isles shall wait for Me, and the ships of Tarshish first, to bring thy sons from far, their silver and their gold with them, for the name of the LORD thy God, and for the Holy One of Israel, because He hath glorified thee.
Bana umut bağlayan kıyı halklarının, Ticaret gemileri öncülüğünde Senin çocuklarını altınlarıyla, gümüşleriyle birlikte Tanrın RAB'bin adı için, İsrail'in Kutsalı için Uzaktan getiren gemileridir bunlar. RAB seni görkemli kıldı.
10 And aliens shall build up thy walls, and their kings shall minister unto thee; for in My wrath I smote thee, but in My favour have I had compassion on thee.
“Yabancılar senin surlarını onaracak, Kralları sana hizmet edecek. Öfkelendiğimde seni cezalandırdıysam da, Kabul ettiğimde sana merhamet göstereceğim.
11 Thy gates also shall be open continually, day and night, they shall not be shut; that men may bring unto thee the wealth of the nations, and their kings in procession.
Kapıların hep açık duracak, Ulusların serveti ve zafer alayları ardında yürütülen yenik krallar Gece gündüz açık kalan bu kapılardan girsin diye.
12 For that nation and kingdom that will not serve thee shall perish; yea, those nations shall be utterly wasted.
Çünkü sana kulluk etmeyen ulus ya da krallık yok olacak, Evet, o uluslar tam bir yıkıma uğrayacak.
13 The glory of Lebanon shall come unto thee, the cypress, the plane-tree and the larch together; to beautify the place of My sanctuary, and I will make the place of My feet glorious.
“Lübnan'ın görkemi olan çam, köknar ve selvi ağaçları, Tapınağımı süslemek için hep birlikte sana taşınacak. Ayak bastığım yeri görkemli kılacağım.
14 And the sons of them that afflicted thee shall come bending unto thee, and all they that despised thee shall bow down at the soles of thy feet; and they shall call thee The city of the LORD, the Zion of the Holy One of Israel.
Seni ezenlerin çocukları Gelip önünde eğilecekler; Seni hor görenlerin hepsi, ‘RAB'bin kenti, İsrail'in Kutsalı'nın Siyon'u’ Diyerek ayaklarına kapanacaklar.
15 Whereas thou hast been forsaken and hated, so that no man passed through thee, I will make thee an eternal excellency, a joy of many generations.
“Kimsenin uğramadığı, terk edilmiş, Nefret edilen bir yer olduğun halde Seni sonsuz bir övünç kaynağı, Bütün kuşakların sevinci kılacağım.
16 Thou shalt also suck the milk of the nations, and shalt suck the breast of kings; and thou shalt know that I the LORD am thy Saviour, and I, the Mighty One of Jacob, thy Redeemer.
Uluslar ve krallıklar Bir anne gibi seni emzirecekler. O zaman bileceksin ki, seni kurtaran RAB, Seni fidyeyle kurtaran, Yakup'un Güçlüsü benim.
17 For brass I will bring gold, and for iron I will bring silver, and for wood brass, and for stones iron; I will also make thy officers peace, and righteousness thy magistrates.
Sana tunç yerine altın, Demir yerine gümüş, ağaç yerine tunç, Taş yerine demir getireceğim. Barışı yöneticin, doğruluğu önderin yapacağım.
18 Violence shall no more be heard in thy land, desolation nor destruction within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Salvation, and thy gates Praise.
Ülkenden şiddet, sınır boylarından Soygun ve yıkım haberleri duyulmayacak artık. Surlarına Kurtuluş, kapılarına Övgü adını vereceksin.
19 The sun shall be no more thy light by day, neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee; but the LORD shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory.
“Gündüz ışığın güneş olmayacak artık, Ay da aydınlatmayacak seni; Çünkü RAB sonsuz ışığın, Tanrın görkemin olacak.
20 Thy sun shall no more go down, Neither shall thy moon withdraw itself; for the LORD shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended.
Artık güneşin batmayacak, ayın çekilmeyecek, Çünkü RAB sonsuz ışığın olacak, Sona erecek yas günlerin.
21 Thy people also shall be all righteous, they shall inherit the land for ever; the branch of My planting, the work of My hands, wherein I glory.
Halkının hepsi doğru kişiler olacak; El emeğim, görkemimi göstermek için diktiğim fidan, Ülkeyi sonsuza dek mülk edinecek.
22 The smallest shall become a thousand, and the least a mighty nation; I the LORD will hasten it in its time.
En küçük ailen bini bulacak, Sayıca en az olanı koca bir ulus olacak. Ben RAB, zamanı gelince bunu hızlandıracağım.”
