Isaiah 60
1 Arise, shine, for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.
耶路撒冷啊！起來炫耀罷！因為你的光明已經來到，上主的榮耀已經照耀在你身上。
2 For, behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the peoples; but upon thee the LORD will arise, and His glory shall be seen upon thee.
看啊！黑暗籠罩著大地，陰雲遮蔽著萬民；但上主卻照耀著你，他的榮耀要彰顯在你的身上。
3 And nations shall walk at thy light, and kings at the brightness of thy rising.
萬民要奔赴你的光明，眾王要投奔你升起的光輝。
4 Lift up thine eyes round about, and see: they all are gathered together, and come to thee; thy sons come from far, and thy daughters are borne on the side.
舉起你的眼向四方觀望罷！他們都聚集來到你這裏：你的眾子要從遠方而來，你的女兒要被抱回來。
5 Then thou shalt see and be radiant, and thy heart shall throb and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea shall be turned unto thee, the wealth of the nations shall come unto thee.
那時，你見到這情形，必要喜形於色，你的心靈必要激動而舒暢，因為海洋的珍寶都要歸於你，萬民的財富都要歸你所有。
6 The caravan of camels shall cover thee, and of the young camels of Midian and Ephah, all coming from Sheba; they shall bring gold and incense, and shall proclaim the praises of the LORD.
成群結隊的駱駝，以及米德楊和厄法的獨峰駝要遮蔽你，牠們都是由舍巴滿載黃金和乳香而來，宣揚上主的榮耀。
7 All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together unto thee, the rams of Nebaioth shall minister unto thee; they shall come up with acceptance on Mine altar, and I will glorify My glorious house.
刻達爾的一切羊群都要聚在你前，乃巴約特的公羊都要供你使用；牠們要登上我的祭壇作為我歡悅的祭品，以光榮我榮耀的處所。
8 Who are these that fly as a cloud, and as the doves to their cotes?
那些像雲彩飛來，像鴿子回籠的是誰﹖
9 Surely the isles shall wait for Me, and the ships of Tarshish first, to bring thy sons from far, their silver and their gold with them, for the name of the LORD thy God, and for the Holy One of Israel, because He hath glorified thee.
那是為我集合起來的船隻，塔爾史士的船隻為首，從遠處帶來了你的子女，以及他們的金銀；這都是為了上主你的天主的名，為了那光榮你的以色列的聖者的緣故。
10 And aliens shall build up thy walls, and their kings shall minister unto thee; for in My wrath I smote thee, but in My favour have I had compassion on thee.
外邦的子民要修建你的城垣，他們的君王要來事奉你，因為我在怒氣中打擊了你，但我在慈悲中又憐憫了你。
11 Thy gates also shall be open continually, day and night, they shall not be shut; that men may bring unto thee the wealth of the nations, and their kings in procession.
你的門要時常敞開，白天黑夜都不要關閉，好讓萬民的財富，在他們的君王領導下，運到你這裏來。
12 For that nation and kingdom that will not serve thee shall perish; yea, those nations shall be utterly wasted.
因為凡不肯事奉你的民族和國家，必要滅亡，這樣的民族必要完全滅絕。
13 The glory of Lebanon shall come unto thee, the cypress, the plane-tree and the larch together; to beautify the place of My sanctuary, and I will make the place of My feet glorious.
黎巴嫩的光榮要歸於你；柏樹、榆樹和松樹都要聚在一起，裝飾我的聖所，因為我要光榮我立足之地。
14 And the sons of them that afflicted thee shall come bending unto thee, and all they that despised thee shall bow down at the soles of thy feet; and they shall call thee The city of the LORD, the Zion of the Holy One of Israel.
曾經欺壓過你者的子孫，要來向你屈服；凡輕視過你的人，都要在你腳前下拜；他們要稱呼你為「上主的城，」「以色列聖者的熙雍。」
15 Whereas thou hast been forsaken and hated, so that no man passed through thee, I will make thee an eternal excellency, a joy of many generations.
我要使你成為萬世的尊榮，萬代的喜悅，以代你從前所受的遺棄、惱恨，與無人經過的痛苦。
16 Thou shalt also suck the milk of the nations, and shalt suck the breast of kings; and thou shalt know that I the LORD am thy Saviour, and I, the Mighty One of Jacob, thy Redeemer.
你要吸萬國的奶，吮眾王的乳房，這樣你將知道我，上主，是你的拯救者，你的救主，雅各伯的強有力者。
17 For brass I will bring gold, and for iron I will bring silver, and for wood brass, and for stones iron; I will also make thy officers peace, and righteousness thy magistrates.
我要以金子來代替黃銅，以銀子代替鐵，以黃銅代替木頭，以鐵代替石頭；我要立「和平」為你的官長，立「正義」為你的政要。
18 Violence shall no more be heard in thy land, desolation nor destruction within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Salvation, and thy gates Praise.
在你的地域裏再聽不到強暴的事情；你要稱你的城垣為「救恩，」你的城門為「讚揚。」
19 The sun shall be no more thy light by day, neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee; but the LORD shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory.
太陽不再是你白天的光明，月亮也不再照耀你，上主要作你永久的光明，你的天主要作你的光輝。
20 Thy sun shall no more go down, Neither shall thy moon withdraw itself; for the LORD shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended.
你的太陽再不降落，你的月亮再不虧缺，因為上主要作你永久的光明，你悲哀的日子已經終結。
21 Thy people also shall be all righteous, they shall inherit the land for ever; the branch of My planting, the work of My hands, wherein I glory.
你的人民都要成為義人，要永遠繼承地業，因為他們是我所栽植的嫩芽，是我手中的工程，使我得到榮耀。
22 The smallest shall become a thousand, and the least a mighty nation; I the LORD will hasten it in its time.
渺小的要成為千人村，微弱的要成為強大的民族：我是上主，我要在定期中迅速完成此事。
