Isaiah 43
1 But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and He that formed thee, O Israel: Fear not, for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name, thou art Mine.
১কিন্তু এখন, হে যাকোব, যিনি তোমাকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন, হে ইস্রায়েল, যিনি তোমাকে তৈরী করেছেন, সেই সদাপ্রভু এখন এই কথা বলছেন, তুমি ভয় কোরো না, কারণ আমি তোমাকে মুক্ত করেছি। আমি তোমার নাম ধরে ডেকেছি, তুমি আমার।
2 When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee, and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee; when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned, neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
২তুমি যখন জলের মধ্যে দিয়ে যাবে তখন আমি তোমার সঙ্গে সঙ্গে থাকব। যখন তুমি নদী মধ্যে দিয়ে যাবে, তখন তারা তোমাকে ডুবিয়ে দেবে না; তুমি যখন আগুনের মধ্যে দিয়ে যাবে, তখন তুমি পুড়বে না; আগুনের শিখা তোমার ক্ষতি করবে না;
3 For I am the LORD thy God, The Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour; I have given Egypt as thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee.
৩কারণ আমিই তোমার ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভু, তোমার উদ্ধারকর্তা, ইস্রায়েলের সেই পবিত্রজন। আমি তোমার মুক্তির মূল্য হিসাবে মিশর দেশ দেব, আর তোমার বদলে কূশ ও সবা দেশ দেব।
4 Since thou art precious in My sight, and honourable, and I have loved thee; therefore will I give men for thee, and peoples for thy life.
৪কারণ তুমি আমার চোখে মূল্যবান ও সম্মানিত, আর আমি তোমাকে ভালবাসি; তাই আমি তোমার বদলে অন্য লোকদের দেব আর তোমার প্রাণের বদলে অন্য জাতিদের দেব।
5 Fear not, for I am with thee; I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west;
৫তুমি ভয় কোরো না, কারণ আমি তোমার সঙ্গে সঙ্গে আছি। পূর্ব দিক থেকে আমি তোমার বংশকে নিয়ে আসব আর পশ্চিম দিক থেকে তোমাকে জড়ো করব।
6 I will say to the north: 'Give up,' and to the south: 'Keep not back, bring My sons from far, and My daughters from the end of the earth;
৬আমি উত্তরের দিককে বলব, ওদের ছেড়ে দাও, আর দক্ষিণের দিককে বলব, ওদের আটকে রেখো না। আমি তাদের বলব, তোমরা দূর থেকে আমার ছেলেদের আর পৃথিবীর শেষ সীমা থেকে আমার মেয়েদের নিয়ে এস।
7 Every one that is called by My name, and whom I have created for My glory, I have formed him, yea, I have made him.'
৭আমার নামে যাদের ডাকা হয়, আমি যাদের আমার গৌরবের জন্য সৃষ্টি করেছি, যাদের আমি গড়েছি ও তৈরী করেছি।
8 The blind people that have eyes shall be brought forth, and the deaf that have ears.
৮যারা চোখ থাকতেও অন্ধ আর কান থাকতেও বধির তারা বের হয়ে আসুক।
9 All the nations are gathered together, and the peoples are assembled; who among them can declare this, and announce to us former things? Let them bring their witnesses, that they may be justified; and let them hear, and say: 'It is truth.'
৯সব জাতি একসঙ্গে জড়ো হোক এবং লোকেরা এক জায়গায় মিলিত হোক। তাদের মধ্যে কে আমাদের কাছে এই সংবাদ দিতে পারে ও আগেকার বিষয় বলতে পারে? তাদের কথা যে ঠিক তা প্রমাণ করবার জন্য তারা তাদের সাক্ষী আনুক যাতে সেই সাক্ষীরা তা শুনে এবং নিশ্চিত করতে পারে, “ঠিক কথা।”
10 Ye are My witnesses, saith the LORD, and My servant whom I have chosen; that ye may know and believe Me, and understand that I am He; before Me there was no God formed, neither shall any be after Me.
১০সদাপ্রভু বলেন, তোমরাই আমার সাক্ষী ও আমার মনোনীত দাস, যাতে তোমরা জানতে পার ও আমার ওপর বিশ্বাস করতে পার আর বুঝতে পার যে, আমিই তিনি। আমার আগে কোনো ঈশ্বর তৈরী হয়নি আর আমার পরেও অন্য কোনো ঈশ্বর হবে না।
11 I, even I, am the LORD; and beside Me there is no saviour.
১১আমি, আমিই সদাপ্রভু এবং আমি ছাড়া আর কোনো উদ্ধারকর্তা নেই।
12 I have declared, and I have saved, and I have announced, and there was no strange god among you; therefore ye are My witnesses, saith the LORD, and I am God.
১২আমিই সংবাদ দিয়েছি, উদ্ধার করেছি ও ঘোষণা করেছি; তোমাদের মধ্যে কোনো দেবতা ছিল না। এই বিষয়ে তোমরাই আমার সাক্ষী। আমি সদাপ্রভু এই কথা বলেছি; আমিই ঈশ্বর।
13 Yea, since the day was I am He, and there is none that can deliver out of My hand; I will work, and who can reverse it?
১৩এই দিন থেকে আমিই তিনি এবং কেউ আমার হাত থেকে রক্ষা করতে পারে না। আমি কাজ করি এবং কেউ তা বাতিল করতে পারে না।
14 Thus saith the LORD, your Redeemer, The Holy One of Israel: For your sake I have sent to Babylon, and I will bring down all of them as fugitives, even the Chaldeans, in the ships of their shouting.
১৪সদাপ্রভু, তোমাদের মুক্তিদাতা, ইস্রায়েলের সেই পবিত্রজন এই কথা বলছেন, কারণ আমি তোমাদের জন্য ব্যাবিলনে লোক পাঠিয়েছি, তাদের সবাইকে পলাতকের মত আনব, ব্যাবিলনীয়দেরকে তাদের আনন্দগানের নৌকায় করে আনব।
15 I am the LORD, your Holy One, the Creator of Israel, your King.
১৫আমিই সদাপ্রভু, তোমাদের সেই পবিত্রজন; আমিই ইস্রায়েলের সৃষ্টিকর্ত্তা ও তোমাদের রাজা।
16 Thus saith the LORD, who maketh a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters;
১৬এটা সদাপ্রভু বলেন, যিনি সমুদ্রে পথ ও প্রচন্ড জলরাশিতে রাস্তা করে দেন।
17 Who bringeth forth the chariot and horse, the army and the power — they lie down together, they shall not rise, they are extinct, they are quenched as a wick:
১৭যিনি রথ, ঘোড়া ও শক্তিশালী বাহিনীকে বের করে এনেছিলেন। তারা একসঙ্গে সেখানে পড়েছিল, আর উঠতে পারেনি। তারা জ্বলন্ত সলতের মত নেভার মত নির্বাপিত হয়েছিল।
18 Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.
১৮তিনি বলছেন, তোমরা আগেকার সব কিছু মনে কর না; অনেক আগের বিষয় বিবেচনা কর না।
19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now shall it spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
১৯দেখ, আমি একটা নতুন কাজ করতে যাচ্ছি। তা এখনই শুরু হবে আর তোমরা তা জানতে পারবে না। আমি প্রান্তরের মধ্যে পথ করব আর মরুপ্রান্তে নদী বইয়ে দেব।
20 The beasts of the field shall honour Me, the jackals and the ostriches; because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to My people, Mine elect;
২০বন্য পশু, শিয়াল ও উটপাখীরা আমার গৌরব করবে, কারণ আমার লোকদের, আমার মনোনীত লোকদের জলের জন্য আমি মরুপ্রান্তে জল জুগিয়ে দেব আর প্রান্তরে নদী বইয়ে দেব।
21 The people which I formed for Myself, that they might tell of My praise.
২১সেই লোকদের আমি নিজের জন্য তৈরী করেছি যাতে তারা আমার গৌরব ঘোষণা করতে পারে।
22 Yet thou hast not called upon Me, O Jacob, neither hast thou wearied thyself about Me, O Israel.
২২কিন্তু হে যাকোব, তুমি আমাকে ডাকনি; হে ইস্রায়েল, তুমি আমাকে নিয়ে ক্লান্ত হয়ে গেছ।
23 Thou hast not brought Me the small cattle of thy burnt-offerings; neither hast thou honoured Me with thy sacrifices. I have not burdened thee with a meal-offering, nor wearied thee with frankincense.
২৩হোমবলির জন্য তুমি আমার কাছে তোমার মেষ আননি আর তোমার কোনো বলিদানের দ্বারা আমাকে সম্মান দেখাও নি। আমি তোমার উপর শস্য-উৎসর্গের ভার দিইনি; ধূপের বিষয়ে তোমাকে ক্লান্ত করিনি।
24 Thou hast bought Me no sweet cane with money, neither hast thou satisfied Me with the fat of thy sacrifices; but thou hast burdened Me with thy sins, thou hast wearied Me with thine iniquities.
২৪তুমি কোনো সুগন্ধি বচ আমার জন্য মূল্য দিয়ে কিনে আননি; তোমার বলিদানের চর্বি আমাকে ঢালনি; কিন্তু তার বদলে তুমি তোমার পাপের বোঝা আমার উপর চাপিয়ে দিয়েছ, তোমার খারাপ কাজগুলি দিয়ে আমাকে ক্লান্ত করেছ।
25 I, even I, am He that blotteth out thy transgressions for Mine own sake; and thy sins I will not remember.
২৫“আমি, হ্যাঁ, আমিই আমার নিজের জন্য তোমার অন্যায় মুছে ফেলি এবং আমি তোমার পাপ আর মনে আনব না।
26 Put Me in remembrance, let us plead together; declare thou, that thou mayest be justified.
২৬তোমার বিষয় আমাকে মনে করিয়ে দাও; এস, আমরা একত্রে তা নিয়ে তর্কাতর্কি করি, যাতে তুমি নির্দোষ বলে প্রমাণিত হয়।
27 Thy first father sinned, and thine intercessors have transgressed against Me.
২৭তোমার আদিপিতা পাপ করেছিল এবং তোমার নেতারা আমার বিরুদ্ধে পাপ করেছিল।
28 Therefore I have profaned the princes of the sanctuary, and I have given Jacob to condemnation, and Israel to reviling.
২৮তাই আমি তোমাদের পবিত্র স্থানের অধ্যক্ষদের অপমান করব আর যাকোবকে ধ্বংসাত্মক নিষেধাজ্ঞার অধীন করব এবং ইস্রায়েলকে বিদ্রূপের পাত্র করব।”
