Isaiah 41
1 Keep silence before Me, O islands, and let the peoples renew their strength; let them draw near, then let them speak; let us come near together to judgment.
ದ್ವೀಪಗಳೇ, ನನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಮೌನದಿಂದಿರಿ. ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಬಲವನ್ನು ನವೀಕರಿಸಲಿ! ಅವರು ನನ್ನ ಸಮೀಪಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು ಮಾತನಾಡಲಿ. ನ್ಯಾಯಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಸಮೀಪಕ್ಕೆ ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಬರೋಣ.
2 Who hath raised up one from the east, at whose steps victory attendeth? He giveth nations before him, and maketh him rule over kings; his sword maketh them as the dust, his bow as the driven stubble.
ಪೂರ್ವದಿಂದ ನೀತಿವಂತನನ್ನು ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿ, ಅವನನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಪಾದಸನ್ನಿಧಿಗೆ ಕರೆದು, ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಅವನ ಮುಂದೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟುಬಿಟ್ಟು, ಅವನನ್ನು ರಾಜರ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಳುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಿದವನು ಯಾರು? ಅವನ ಖಡ್ಗವನ್ನು ಧೂಳನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ, ಅವನ ಬಿಲ್ಲನ್ನು ಹಾರಿಹೋಗುವ ಹೊಟ್ಟಿನಂತೆಯೂ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
3 He pursueth them, and passeth on safely; the way with his feet he treadeth not.
ತಾನು ಎಂದೂ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆ ಇಡದ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ಆತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಟ್ಟುತ್ತಾ ಹೋದನು.
4 Who hath wrought and done it? He that called the generations from the beginning. I, the LORD, who am the first, and with the last am the same.
ಇದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಡೆಯಿಸಿ ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿದವನೂ ಆದಿಯಿಂದ ತಲತಲಾಂತರಗಳನ್ನು ಬರಮಾಡಿದವನು ಯಾರು? ಯೆಹೋವ ಎಂಬ ನಾನೇ ಮೊದಲನೆಯವನು, ಅಂತ್ಯಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಗಡಿಗನು ಆಗಿರುವಾತನೇ ನಾನು.
5 The isles saw, and feared; the ends of the earth trembled; they drew near, and came.
ದ್ವೀಪಗಳೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಕಂಡು ಬೆರಗಾದವು. ಭೂಮಿಯ ಕಟ್ಟಕಡೆಯು ನಡುಗಿತು. ಅವರು ಸಮೀಪಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದರು.
6 They helped every one his neighbour; and every one said to his brother: 'Be of good courage.'
ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನು ತನ್ನ ನೆರೆಯವನಿಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡಲಿ. ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನು ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರನಿಗೆ, “ಧೈರ್ಯವಾಗಿರಿ!” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲಿ.
7 So the carpenter encouraged the goldsmith, and he that smootheth with the hammer him that smiteth the anvil, saying of the soldering: 'It is good'; and he fastened it with nails, that it should not be moved.
ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಶಿಲ್ಪಿಯು ಅಕ್ಕಸಾಲಿಗನನ್ನು ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಗೊಳಿಸಿದನು. ಸುತ್ತಿಗೆಯಿಂದ ಸಮಮಾಡುವವನು ಅಡಿಗಲ್ಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ತಟ್ಟುವವನನ್ನು ಉತ್ತೇಜಿಸಿದನು. ಬೆಸುಗೆ “ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿದೆ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ, ಅದು ಕದಲದ ಹಾಗೆ ಮೊಳೆಗಳಿಂದ ಜಡಿದರು.
8 But thou, Israel, My servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham My friend;
“ಆದರೆ ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲೇ, ನಾನು ಆಯ್ದುಕೊಂಡ ಯಾಕೋಬೇ, ನನ್ನ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತನಾದ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನ ಸಂತತಿಯೇ,
9 Thou whom I have taken hold of from the ends of the earth, and called thee from the uttermost parts thereof, and said unto thee: 'Thou art My servant, I have chosen thee and not cast thee away';
ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಕಟ್ಟಕಡೆಗಳಿಂದ ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು, ಅದರ ದೂರದ ಕೊನೆಯಿಂದ ಕರೆದು, ‘ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನು,’ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ನಾನು ಆಯ್ದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ತಳ್ಳಿಬಿಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
10 Fear thou not, for I am with thee, be not dismayed, for I am thy God; I strengthen thee, yea, I help thee; yea, I uphold thee with My victorious right hand.
ನೀನಂತೂ ಹೆದರಬೇಡ, ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಾನೇ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರು, ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಲಪಡಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ. ನನ್ನ ನೀತಿಯ ಬಲಗೈಯಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿಹಿಡಿಯುತ್ತೇನೆ.
11 Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded; they that strove with thee shall be as nothing, and shall perish.
“ನಿನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಉರಿಗೊಂಡವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಅವಮಾನ ಹೊಂದಿ, ಆಶಾಭಂಗಪಡುವರು. ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯವಾಡಿದವರು ನಾಶವಾಗಿ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಹೋಗುವರು.
12 Thou shalt seek them, and shalt not find them, even them that contended with thee; they that warred against thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought.
ನಿನ್ನೊಡನೆ ಹೋರಾಡಿದವರನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಿದವರೂ ಅವರು ನಿನಗೆ ಕಾಣಿಸರು. ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಯುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಿದವರು ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಹೋಗಿ ನಿರ್ನಾಮವಾಗುವರು.
13 For I the LORD thy God hold thy right hand, who say unto thee: 'Fear not, I help thee.'
ನೀನಂತೂ ಹೆದರಬೇಡ; ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಾದ ನಾನೇ ನಿನಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ, ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾಗಿರುವ ನಾನೇ ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಹಿಡಿಯುತ್ತೇನಲ್ಲಾ!
14 Fear not, thou worm Jacob, and ye men of Israel; I help thee, saith the LORD, and thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.
ಹುಳುವಿನಂತಿರುವ ಯಾಕೋಬೇ, ಪುಟ್ಟ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲೇ, ಭಯಪಡಬೇಡ. ನಾನೇ ನಿನಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ,” ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. ನಿನ್ನ ವಿಮೋಚಕನೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧನೂ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರಲ್ಲಾ!
15 Behold, I make thee a new threshing-sledge having sharp teeth; thou shalt thresh the mountains, and beat them small, and shalt make the hills as chaff.
ಇಗೋ, ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಹದವಾದ, ಹೊಸ ಮೊನೆಹಲ್ಲಿನ ಹಂತೀಕುಂಟೆಯನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡುವೆನು. ನೀನು ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಕ್ಕು, ಪುಡಿಪುಡಿಮಾಡಿ, ಗುಡ್ಡಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಟ್ಟಿನಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವೆ.
16 Thou shalt fan them, and the wind shall carry them away, and the whirlwind shall scatter them; and thou shalt rejoice in the LORD, thou shalt glory in the Holy One of Israel.
ನೀನು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ತೂರಲು, ಗಾಳಿಯು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಬಡಿದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವುದು. ಬಿರುಗಾಳಿಯು ಚೆಲ್ಲಾಪಿಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡುವುದು. ನೀನಂತೂ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂತೋಷಿಸಿ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧರಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಿಮೆ ಹೊಂದುವೆ.
17 The poor and needy seek water and there is none, and their tongue faileth for thirst; I the LORD will answer them, I the God of Israel will not forsake them.
ಬಡವರೂ ದರಿದ್ರರೂ ನೀರನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಿ ಕಾಣದೇ, ಬಾಯಾರಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ನಾಲಿಗೆ ಒಣಗಿದಾಗ, ಯೆಹೋವನಾದ ನಾನೇ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತರಕೊಡುವೆನು. ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ದೇವರಾಗಿರುವ ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಕೈಬಿಡೆನು.
18 I will open rivers on the high hills, and fountains in the midst of the valleys; I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water.
ಎತ್ತರವಾದ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನದಿಗಳನ್ನು ತಗ್ಗುಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಬುಗ್ಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊರಡಿಸಿ, ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ನೀರಿನ ಕೆರೆಯನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ, ಒಣನೆಲವನ್ನು ನೀರಿನ ಒರತೆಗಳನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ ಮಾಡುವೆನು.
19 I will plant in the wilderness the cedar, the acacia-tree, and the myrtle, and the oil-tree; I will set in the desert the cypress, the plane-tree, and the larch together;
ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವದಾರು, ಜಾಲೀಮರ, ಸುಗಂಧ, ಓಲಿವ್ ಮರಗಳನ್ನು ನಾನು ನೆಡುವೆನು. ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತುರಾಯಿ, ತಪಸಿ, ತಿಲಕ ವೃಕ್ಷಗಳನ್ನು ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಬೆಳೆಯಿಸುವೆನು.
20 That they may see, and know, and consider, and understand together, that the hand of the LORD hath done this, and the Holy One of Israel hath created it.
ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಹಸ್ತವು ಇದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದೆ ಎಂದೂ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧನು ಇದನ್ನು ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿದನು ಎಂದೂ ಅವರು ಕಂಡು ತಿಳಿದು, ಮನಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಗ್ರಹಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು.
21 Produce your cause, saith the LORD; bring forth your reasons, saith the King of Jacob.
“ನಿಮ್ಮ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ತನ್ನಿರಿ” ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. “ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಲವಾದ ನ್ಯಾಯಗಳನ್ನು ತನ್ನಿರಿ,” ಎಂದು ಯಾಕೋಬ್ಯರ ಅರಸನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.
22 Let them bring them forth, and declare unto us the things that shall happen; the former things, what are they? Declare ye, that we may consider, and know the end of them; or announce to us things to come.
“ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳೇ, ಮುಂದೆ ಏನಾಗಲಿದೆ ಎಂದು ನಮಗೆ ಹೇಳಿ. ಹಿಂದಿನವುಗಳನ್ನು ನಾವು ಮನಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ತಂದುಕೊಂಡು, ಅವುಗಳ ಪರಿಣಾಮವನ್ನು ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಮುಂದಿನವುಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರೆ ಗ್ರಹಿಸುವೆವು.
23 Declare the things that are to come hereafter, that we may know that ye are gods; yea, do good, or do evil, that we may be dismayed, and behold it together.
ನೀವು ದೇವರುಗಳೆಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಮುಂದೆ ಬರುವವುಗಳನ್ನು ನಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿರಿ. ಹೌದು, ನಾವು ಗಾಬರಿಯಿಂದ ಭಯಪಡುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದನ್ನಾಗಲಿ, ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಮಾಡಿರಿ.
24 Behold, ye are nothing, and your work a thing of nought; an abomination is he that chooseth you.
ನೀವು ಶೂನ್ಯವೇ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕಾರ್ಯವು ವ್ಯರ್ಥವೇ. ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡವನು ಅಸಹ್ಯನೇ.
25 I have roused up one from the north, and he is come, from the rising of the sun one that calleth upon My name; and he shall come upon rulers as upon mortar, and as the potter treadeth clay.
“ಉತ್ತರ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನಿಂದ ಒಬ್ಬನನ್ನು ನಾನು ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿದ್ದೇ. ಸೂರ್ಯೋದಯದ ಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ಅವನು ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಸ್ಮರಿಸುವನು. ಅವನು ಜೇಡಿ ಮಣ್ಣಿನಂತೆಯೂ, ಕುಂಬಾರನು ಮಣ್ಣನ್ನು ತುಳಿಯುವಂತೆಯೂ ಅಧಿಕಾರಸ್ಥರ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವನು ಬರುವನು.
26 Who hath declared from the beginning, that we may know? and beforetime, that we may say that he is right? Yea, there is none that declareth, yea, there is none that announceth, yea, there is none that heareth your utterances.
ಆತನು ನೀತಿವಂತನೆಂದು ನಾನು ತಿಳಿಯುವಂತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಹೇಳುವಂತೆ, ಆದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರು ಅದನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ? ಹೌದು, ಯಾರೂ ತೋರಿಸುವವನಿಲ್ಲ, ತಿಳಿಸುವವನು ಒಬ್ಬನೂ ಇಲ್ಲ. ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಾತುಗಳು ಯಾರ ಕಿವಿಗೂ ಬೀಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
27 A harbinger unto Zion will I give: 'Behold, behold them', and to Jerusalem a messenger of good tidings.
ನಾನು ಮೊದಲನೆಯವನಾಗಿ ಚೀಯೋನಿಗೆ, ‘ಇಗೋ, ಅವರನ್ನು ನೋಡು’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ, ಶುಭಸಮಾಚಾರ ತರತಕ್ಕವನನ್ನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿಸುವೆನು.
28 And I look, but there is no man; even among them, but there is no counsellor, that, when I ask of them, can give an answer.
ನಾನು ನೋಡಿದಾಗ, ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರೂ ಇಲ್ಲ. ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಕೇಳುವ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗೆ, ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಮಾತನ್ನು ಉತ್ತರಿಸುವ ಸಲಹೆಗಾರನು ಇಲ್ಲವೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.
29 Behold, all of them, their works are vanity and nought; their molten images are wind and confusion.
ಇಗೋ, ಅವರೆಲ್ಲಾ ವ್ಯರ್ಥವೇ, ಅವರ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳು ಶೂನ್ಯವೇ. ಅವರ ಕೆತ್ತಿದ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳು ಗಾಳಿ ಮತ್ತು ಗಲಿಬಿಲಿಯೇ.”
