Isaiah 30
1 Woe to the rebellious children, saith the LORD, that take counsel, but not of Me; and that form projects, but not of My spirit, that they may add sin to sin;
౧“తిరుగుబాటు చేసే పిల్లలకు బాధ.” ఇది యెహోవా చేస్తున్న ప్రకటన. “వాళ్ళు ఆలోచనలు చేస్తారు. కానీ నన్ను సంప్రదించరు. ఇతర జనాలతో స్నేహం చేస్తారు. కానీ నా ఆత్మ నిర్దేశించింది కాదు. ఈ విధంగా వాళ్ళు పాపానికి పాపాన్ని జోడిస్తారు.
2 That walk to go down into Egypt, and have not asked at My mouth; to take refuge in the stronghold of Pharaoh, and to take shelter in the shadow of Egypt!
౨వాళ్ళు ఐగుప్తుకి వెళ్ళడానికి సిద్ధం అయ్యారు. కానీ నా సలహా కోసం చూడరు. ఫరో సంరక్షణ కోసం పాకులాడుతున్నారు. ఐగుప్తు నీడలో ఆశ్రయం కోసం ఆరాటపడుతున్నారు.
3 Therefore shall the stronghold of Pharaoh turn to your shame, and the shelter in the shadow of Egypt to your confusion.
౩కాబట్టి ఫరో సంరక్షణ మీకు అవమానంగా ఉంటుంది. ఐగుప్తు నీడలో ఆశ్రయం మీకు సిగ్గుగా ఉంటుంది.
4 For his princes are at Zoan, and his ambassadors are come to Hanes.
౪ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రజల అధిపతులు సోయనులో ఉన్నారు. వాళ్ళ రాయబారులు హానేసులో ప్రవేశించారు.
5 They shall all be ashamed of a people that cannot profit them, that are not a help nor profit, but a shame, and also a reproach.
౫కానీ వాళ్లకి సహాయం చేసేవాళ్ళు అక్కడ ఎవ్వరూ ఉండకపోవడం చూసి వాళ్లందరూ సిగ్గుపడి పోతారు. ఉన్నవాళ్ళు సహాయంగానూ, మద్దతుగానూ ఉండకపోగా సిగ్గుగానూ అవమానంగానూ ఉంటారు.”
6 The burden of the beasts of the South. Through the land of trouble and anguish, from whence come the lioness and the lion, the viper and flying serpent, they carry their riches upon the shoulders of young asses, and their treasures upon the humps of camels, to a people that shall not profit them.
౬దక్షిణ దేశంలో ఉన్న క్రూరమృగాలను గూర్చిన దైవ ప్రకటన. సింహాలూ, ఆడ సింహాలూ, రక్త పింజేరి పాములూ, ఎగిరే సర్పాలతో దేశం ప్రమాదకరంగా మారినా వాళ్ళు మాత్రం తమ ఆస్తిని గాడిదల వీపుల పైనా, తమ సంపదలను ఒంటెల మూపుల పైనా తరలిస్తూ ఉంటారు. తమకు సహాయం చేయలేని జనం దగ్గరికి వాటిని తీసుకు వెళ్తారు.
7 For Egypt helpeth in vain, and to no purpose; therefore have I called her arrogancy that sitteth still.
౭ఎందుకంటే ఐగుప్తు చేసే సహాయం వల్ల ప్రయోజనం లేదు. కాబట్టి నేను దానికి పనీ పాటా లేకుండా కూర్చునే రాహాబు. అనే పేరు పెడుతున్నా.
8 Now go, write it before them on a tablet, and inscribe it in a book, that it may be for the time to come for ever and ever.
౮భవిష్యత్తులో సాక్ష్యంగా దీన్ని భద్రపరచడం కోసం నువ్వు వెళ్లి వాళ్ళ సమక్షంలోనే ఒక రాతి పలకపై దీన్ని చెక్కి గ్రంథంలో రాసి ఉంచు.
9 For it is a rebellious people, lying children, children that refuse to hear the teaching of the LORD;
౯వీళ్ళు తిరగబడే ప్రజలు. అబద్ధమాడే పిల్లల్లాంటి వాళ్ళు. యెహోవా ఆదేశాలను వినని పిల్లలు.
10 That say to the seers: 'See not,' and to the prophets: 'Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy delusions;
౧౦దర్శనాలు చూసే వాళ్ళతో “దర్శనం చూడవద్దు” అని చెప్తారు. ప్రవక్తలకు “కచ్చితమైన సత్యాన్ని మాకు ప్రవచించ వద్దు. మృదువైన సంగతులే మాతో చెప్పండి. మాయా దర్శనాలు చూడండి. తప్పుడు ప్రవచనాలు మాకు చెప్పండి.
11 Get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us.'
౧౧మా దారికి అడ్డం రావద్దు. మా మార్గం నుండి తొలగి పొండి. ఇశ్రాయేలు పరిశుద్ధ దేవుని సంగతి మా దగ్గర ఎత్తవద్దు” అని అంటారు.
12 Wherefore thus saith the Holy One of Israel: because ye despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and stay thereon;
౧౨కాబట్టి ఇశ్రాయేలు పరిశుద్ధ దేవుడు ఇలా చెప్తున్నాడు. మీరు ఈ మాటని తిరస్కరించి అణచివేతనూ, మోసాన్నీ నమ్ముకున్నారు. వాటి పైనే ఆధారపడ్డారు.
13 Therefore this iniquity shall be to you as a breach ready to fall, swelling out in a high wall, whose breaking cometh suddenly at an instant.
౧౩కాబట్టి ఈ పాపం మీకు బీటలు వారి, ఉబ్బి పోయి, ఒక్క క్షణంలో కూలి పోవడానికి సిద్ధంగా ఉన్న గోడలా ఉంటుంది. అది ఒక్క క్షణంలో అకస్మాత్తుగా పడిపోతుంది.
14 And He shall break it as a potter's vessel is broken, breaking it in pieces without sparing; so that there shall not be found among the pieces thereof a sherd to take fire from the hearth, or to take water out of the cistern.
౧౪కుమ్మరి చేసిన మట్టి కుండ పగిలినట్టు ఆయన దాన్ని పగలగొడతాడు. దాన్ని ఆయన విడిచి పెట్టడు. దాని ముక్కల్లో ఒక్క పెంకు కూడా పొయ్యిలో నుండి నిప్పు కణికలను తీయడానికి గానీ కుండలో నుండి నీళ్ళుతోడటానికి గానీ పనికి రాదు.
15 For thus said the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel: in sitting still and rest shall ye be saved, in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength; and ye would not.
౧౫ఇశ్రాయేలు పరిశుద్ధ దేవుడూ ప్రభువూ అయిన యెహోవా ఇలా చెప్తున్నాడు. “మీరు తిరిగి వచ్చి విశ్రాంతిగా నాలో ఉంటేనే రక్షణ పొందుతారు. మౌనంలోనూ, విశ్వాసంలోనూ మాత్రమే మీకు బలం కలుగుతుంది.” కానీ దానికి మీరు ఒప్పుకోలేదు.
16 But ye said: 'No, for we will flee upon horses'; therefore shall ye flee; and: 'We will ride upon the swift'; therefore shall they that pursue you be swift.
౧౬“అలా కాదు. మేం గుర్రాలెక్కి పారిపోతాం” అన్నారు. కాబట్టి మీరు పారిపోతారు. ఇంకా “వేగంగా పరుగుతీసే గుర్రాలపై స్వారీ చేస్తాం” అన్నారు. కాబట్టి మిమ్మల్ని తరిమే వాళ్ళు ఇంకా వేగంగా వస్తారు.
17 One thousand shall flee at the rebuke of one, at the rebuke of five shall ye flee; till ye be left as a beacon upon the top of a mountain, and as an ensign on a hill.
౧౭మీలో మిగిలి ఉన్న వాళ్ళు ఏదో పర్వతంపై ఒక జెండా కర్రగానో, లేదా ఏదో కొండపై జెండా గానో మిగిలే దాకా మీరు ఒక్కడికి భయపడి వెయ్యి మంది పారిపోతారు. ఐదుగురి భయం చేత మీరంతా పారిపోతారు.
18 And therefore will the LORD wait, that He may be gracious unto you, and therefore will He be exalted, that He may have compassion upon you; for the LORD is a God of justice, happy are all they that wait for Him.
౧౮అయినా మీపై దయ కనపరచాలని యెహోవా ఆలస్యం చేస్తున్నాడు. మిమ్మల్ని కరుణించాలని నిలబడి ఉన్నాడు. యెహోవా న్యాయం తీర్చే దేవుడు. ఆయన కోసం ఎదురు చూసే వాళ్ళు ధన్యులు.
19 For, O people that dwellest in Zion at Jerusalem, thou shalt weep no more; He will surely be gracious unto thee at the voice of thy cry, when He shall hear, He will answer thee.
౧౯ఎందుకంటే యెరూషలేములోనే సీయోనులోనే ఒక జనం నివాసముంటారు. వాళ్లికపై ఏడవరు. నీ రోదన ధ్వనికి ఆయన కచ్చితంగా నిన్ను కరుణిస్తాడు. నువ్వు మొర్ర పెట్టినప్పుడు ఆయన నీకు జవాబు ఇస్తాడు.
20 And though the Lord give you sparing bread and scant water, yet shall not thy Teacher hide Himself any more, but thine eyes shall see thy Teacher;
౨౦యెహోవా నీకు వైరాన్ని ఆహారంగా, వేదనను పానీయంగా ఇచ్చాడు. అయినా నీ బోధకులు నీకు ఇక మరుగై ఉండరు. నీకు ఉపదేశం చేసే వాళ్ళని నువ్వు చూస్తావు.
21 And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying: 'This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.'
౨౧మీరు కుడి వైపు గానీ ఎడమ వైపు గానీ తిరిగినప్పుడు “ఇదే మార్గం. దీనిలోనే నడవండి” అని వెనుక నుండి ఒక శబ్దాన్ని మీరు వింటారు.
22 And ye shall defile thy graven images overlaid with silver, and thy molten images covered with gold; thou shalt put them far away as one unclean; thou shalt say unto it: 'Get thee hence.'
౨౨వెండితో పోత పోసిన చెక్కిన బొమ్మలనూ, బంగారంతో పోత పోసిన విగ్రహాలనూ మీరు అపవిత్రం చేస్తారు. అసహ్యమైన గుడ్డగా వాటిని భావిస్తారు. “ఇక్కడ నుండి పో” అని వాటికి చెప్తారు.
23 And He will give the rain for thy seed, wherewith thou sowest the ground, and bread of the increase of the ground, and it shall be fat and plenteous; in that day shall thy cattle feed in large pastures.
౨౩నువ్వు విత్తనాన్ని భూమిలో నాటినప్పుడు దానికి కావలసిన వర్షాన్ని ఆయన కురిపిస్తాడు. భూసారమైన ఆహారాన్ని విస్తారంగా నీకిస్తాడు. నీ పంటలు విస్తారంగా పండుతాయి. ఆ రోజున నీ పశువులు విశాలమైన పచ్చిక మైదానాల్లో మేస్తాయి.
24 The oxen likewise and the young asses that till the ground shall eat savoury provender, which hath been winnowed with the shovel and with the fan.
౨౪భూమిని సేద్యం చేయడానికి సహాయం చేసే ఎద్దులూ, గాడిదలూ పార, జల్లెడలతో చెరిగిన ధాన్యాన్ని మేతగా తింటాయి.
25 And there shall be upon every lofty mountain, and upon every high hill streams and watercourses, in the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall.
౨౫గోపురాలు కూలి పోయే ఆ మహా సంహారం జరిగే రోజున ఎత్తయిన ప్రతి పర్వతం పైనా, ఎత్తయిన ప్రతి కొండ పైనా వాగులూ, జలధారలూ ప్రవహిస్తాయి.
26 Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of the seven days, in the day that the LORD bindeth up the bruise of His people, and healeth the stroke of their wound.
౨౬చంద్రుడి కాంతి సూర్య కాంతితో సమానంగా ఉంటుంది. సూర్య కాంతి ఏడు రెట్లు అధికంగా ప్రకాశిస్తుంది. యెహోవా తన ప్రజల గాయాలకి కట్లు కడతాడు. తాను చేసిన గాయాలను ఆయన బాగు చేస్తాడు.
27 Behold, the name of the LORD cometh from far, with His anger burning, and in thick uplifting of smoke; His lips are full of indignation, and His tongue is as a devouring fire;
౨౭చూడండి! ఆయన ఆగ్రహంతో మండిపోతూ దట్టమైన పొగతో యెహోవా పేరు దూరం నుండి వస్తూ ఉంది. ఆయన పెదవులు ఉగ్రతతో నిండి పోయాయి. ఆయన నాలుక దహించే అగ్ని జ్వాలలా ఉంది.
28 And His breath is as an overflowing stream, that divideth even unto the neck, to sift the nations with the sieve of destruction; and a bridle that causeth to err shall be in the jaws of the peoples.
౨౮ఆయన శ్వాస గొంతు వరకూ వచ్చిన బలమైన నదీ ప్రవాహంలా ఉంది. అది నాశనం చేసే జల్లెడలా జాతులను జల్లెడ పడుతుంది. ఆయన శ్వాస జాతుల దవడల్లో కళ్ళెంలా ఉండి వాళ్ళని దారి తప్పిస్తుంది.
29 Ye shall have a song as in the night when a feast is hallowed; and gladness of heart, as when one goeth with the pipe to come into the mountain of the LORD, to the Rock of Israel.
౨౯పండగ ఆచరించేటప్పుడు రాత్రి వేళ మీరు పాట పాడుతారు. ఇశ్రాయేలుకి ఆశ్రయ దుర్గమైన యెహోవా పర్వతానికి ఒక వ్యక్తి పిల్లనగ్రోవి వాయిస్తూ ప్రయాణం చేసేటప్పుడు కలిగే ఆనందం వంటిది వారి హృదయంలో కలుగుతుంది.
30 And the LORD will cause His glorious voice to be heard, and will show the lighting down of His arm, with furious anger, and the flame of a devouring fire, with a bursting of clouds, and a storm of rain, and hailstones.
౩౦యెహోవా తన స్వరంలోని వైభవాన్ని వినిపిస్తాడు. ప్రభావంగల స్వరం వినిపిస్తాడు. ప్రచండమైన కోపంతోను దహించే జ్వాలతోను తుఫాను వంటి తన ఉగ్రతలో, అగ్ని జ్వాలల్లో, భీకరమైన సుడిగాలితో, గాలి వానతో, వడగళ్ళతో తన చేతి కదలికను చూపిస్తాడు.
31 For through the voice of the LORD shall Asshur be dismayed, the rod with which He smote.
౩౧యెహోవా స్వరం విని అష్షూరు ముక్కలైపోతుంది. ఆయన దాన్ని కర్రతో దండిస్తాడు.
32 And in every place where the appointed staff shall pass, which the LORD shall lay upon him, it shall be with tabrets and harps; and in battles of wielding will He fight with them.
౩౨యెహోవా తాను నియమించిన కర్రతో అష్షూరు పై వేసే ప్రతి దెబ్బా, ఆయన వాళ్ళతో యుద్ధం చేస్తుండగా, తంబురాల, సితారాల సంగీతంతో కలసి ఉంటుంది.
33 For a hearth is ordered of old; yea, for the king it is prepared, deep and large; the pile thereof is fire and much wood; the breath of the LORD, like a stream of brimstone, doth kindle it.
౩౩తగలబెట్టే స్థలం చాలా కాలం కిందే సిద్ధం అయి ఉంది. నిజంగా రాజు కోసం సిద్ధం అయింది. దాన్ని దేవుడు లోతుగా, విశాలంగా చేశాడు. తగలబెట్టడానికి మంటలు, విస్తారంగా కట్టెలు సిద్ధంగా ఉన్నాయి. యెహోవా శ్వాస గంధక ప్రవాహంలా దాన్ని తగలబెడుతుంది.
