Isaiah 3
1 For, behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, doth take away from Jerusalem and from Judah stay and staff, every stay of bread, and every stay of water;
௧இதோ, சேனைகளின் யெகோவாவாகிய ஆண்டவர் எருசலேமிலிருந்தும், யூதாவிலிருந்தும் சகலவிதமான ஆதரவுகளாகிய அப்பமென்கிற எல்லா ஆதரவையும், தண்ணீரென்கிற எல்லா ஆதரவையும்;
2 The mighty man, and the man of war; the judge, and the prophet, and the diviner, and the elder;
௨பராக்கிரமசாலியையும், போர்வீரனையும், நியாயாதிபதியையும், தீர்க்கதரிசியையும், ஞானியையும், மூப்பனையும்;
3 The captain of fifty, and the man of rank, and the counsellor, and the cunning charmer, and the skilful enchanter.
௩ஐம்பதுபேருக்கு அதிபதியையும், கனம்பொருந்தினவனையும் ஆலோசனைக்காரனையும், தொழில்களில் சாமர்த்தியமுள்ளவனையும், சாதுரியனையும் விலக்குவார்.
4 And I will give children to be their princes, and babes shall rule over them.
௪வாலிபர்களை அவர்களுக்கு அதிபதிகளாகத் தருவேன் என்கிறார்; பிள்ளைகள் அவர்களை ஆளுவார்கள்.
5 And the people shall oppress one another, every man his fellow, and every man his neighbour; the child shall behave insolently against the aged, and the base against the honourable,
௫மக்கள் ஒடுக்கப்படுவார்கள்; ஒருவருக்கொருவரும், அயலானுக்கு அயலானும் விரோதமாயிருப்பார்கள்; வாலிபன் முதிர்வயதுள்ளவனுக்கும், கீழ்மகன் மேன்மகனுக்கும் இடையூறு செய்வான்.
6 For a man shall take hold of his brother of the house of his father: 'Thou hast a mantle, be thou our ruler, and let this ruin be under thy hand.'
௬அப்பொழுது ஒருவன் தன் தகப்பன் வீட்டைச்சேர்ந்த தன் சகோதரனைப்பிடித்து: உனக்கு மேலாடை இருக்கிறது, நீ எங்களுக்கு அதிபதியாயிரு; கேட்டிற்கு இணையான இந்தக் காரியம் உன் கையின் கீழாவதாக என்று சொல்ல;
7 In that day shall he swear, saying: 'I will not be a healer; for in my house is neither bread nor a mantle; ye shall not make me ruler of a people.'
௭அவன் அந்நாளிலே தன் கையை உயர்த்தி: நான் சீர்ப்படுத்துகிறவனாக இருக்கமாட்டேன்; என் வீட்டிலே அப்பமுமில்லை ஆடையுமில்லை; என்னை மக்களுக்கு அதிபதியாக ஏற்படுத்தவேண்டாம் என்பான்.
8 For Jerusalem is ruined, and Judah is fallen; because their tongue and their doings are against the LORD, to provoke the eyes of His glory.
௮ஏனென்றால் எருசலேம் பாழாக்கப்பட்டது, யூதா விழுந்துபோனது; அவர்களுடைய நாவும், அவர்கள் செயல்களும், யெகோவாவுடைய மகிமையின் கண்களுக்கு எரிச்சல் உண்டாக்கத்தக்கதாக அவருக்கு விரோதமாயிருக்கிறது.
9 The show of their countenance doth witness against them; and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide it not. Woe unto their soul! for they have wrought evil unto themselves.
௯அவர்கள் முகப்பார்வை அவர்களுக்கு விரோதமாகச் சாட்சியிடும்; அவர்கள் தங்கள் பாவத்தை மறைக்காமல், சோதோம் ஊராரைப்போல வெளிப்படுத்துகிறார்கள்; அவர்களுடைய ஆத்துமாவுக்கு ஐயோ, தங்களுக்கே தீமையை வருவித்துக்கொள்கிறார்கள்.
10 Say ye of the righteous, that it shall be well with him; for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.
௧0உங்களுக்கு நன்மையுண்டாகும் என்று நீதிமான்களுக்குச் சொல்லுங்கள்; அவர்கள் தங்கள் செயல்களின் பலனை அனுபவிப்பார்கள்.
11 Woe unto the wicked! it shall be ill with him; for the work of his hands shall be done to him.
௧௧துன்மார்க்கனுக்கு ஐயோ, அவனுக்குக் கேடு உண்டாகும்; அவனுடைய கைகளின் பலன் அவனுக்குக் கிடைக்கும்.
12 As for My people, a babe is their master, and women rule over them. O My people, they that lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.
௧௨பிள்ளைகள் என் மக்களை ஒடுக்குகிறவர்களாக இருக்கிறார்கள்; பெண்கள் அவர்களை ஆளுகிறார்கள். என் மக்களோ, உன்னை நடத்துகிறவர்கள் உன்னை மோசம்போக்கி, நீ நடக்கவேண்டிய வழியை அழித்துப்போடுகிறார்கள்.
13 The LORD standeth up to plead, and standeth to judge the peoples.
௧௩யெகோவா வழக்காட எழுந்திருந்து, மக்களை நியாயந்தீர்க்க நிற்கிறார்.
14 The LORD will enter into judgment with the elders of His people, and the princes thereof: 'It is ye that have eaten up the vineyard; the spoil of the poor is in your houses;
௧௪யெகோவா தமது மக்களின் மூப்பர்களையும், அவர்களுடைய பிரபுக்களையும் நியாயம் விசாரிப்பார். நீங்களே இந்தத் திராட்சைத்தோட்டத்தை அழித்துப்போட்டீர்கள்; சிறுமையானவனிடத்தில் கொள்ளையிட்ட பொருள் உங்கள் வீடுகளில் இருக்கிறது.
15 What mean ye that ye crush My people, and grind the face of the poor?' saith the Lord, the GOD of hosts.
௧௫நீங்கள் என் மக்களை நொறுக்கிச் சிறுமையானவர்களின் முகத்தை நெரிக்கிறது என்னவென்று சேனைகளின் யெகோவாவாகிய ஆண்டவர் உரைக்கிறார்.
16 Moreover the LORD said: Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, and walk with stretched-forth necks and wanton eyes, walking and mincing as they go, and making a tinkling with their feet;
௧௬பின்னும் யெகோவா சொல்கிறதாவது: சீயோனின் பெண்கள் அகந்தையாயிருந்து, கழுத்தை நெறித்து நடந்து, கண்களால் கவர்ச்சியாகப்பார்த்து, ஒய்யாரமாக நடந்து, தங்கள் கால்களில் சிலம்பு ஒலிக்கத் திரிகிறார்கள்.
17 Therefore the Lord will smite with a scab the crown of the head of the daughters of Zion, and the LORD will lay bare their secret parts.
௧௭ஆதலால் ஆண்டவர் சீயோன் பெண்களின் உச்சந்தலையை மொட்டையாக்குவார்; யெகோவா அவர்கள் மானத்தைக் குலைப்பார்.
18 In that day the Lord will take away the bravery of their anklets, and the fillets, and the crescents;
௧௮அந்நாளிலே ஆண்டவர் அவர்களுடைய ஆபரணங்களாகிய சிலம்புகளையும், சுட்டிகளையும், பிறைவடிவ கழுத்தணிகளையும்,
19 the pendants, and the bracelets, and the veils;
௧௯ஆரங்களையும், வளையல்களையும், தலைமுக்காடுகளையும்,
20 the headtires, and the armlets, and the sashes, and the corselets, and the amulets;
௨0தலை அணிகலன்களையும், பாதசரங்களையும், மார்க்கச்சைகளையும், சுகந்தபரணிகளையும்,
21 the rings, and the nose-jewels;
௨௧தாயித்துகளையும், மோதிரங்களையும், மூக்குத்திகளையும்,
22 the aprons, and the mantelets, and the cloaks, and the girdles;
௨௨விநோத உடைகளையும், சால்வைகளையும், போர்வைகளையும், குப்பிகளையும்,
23 and the gauze robes, and the fine linen, and the turbans, and the mantles.
௨௩கண்ணாடிகளையும், மெல்லிய ஆடைகளையும், குல்லாக்களையும், துப்பட்டாக்களையும் கழற்றிப்போடுவார்.
24 And it shall come to pass, that instead of sweet spices there shall be rottenness; and instead of a girdle rags; and instead of curled hair baldness; and instead of a stomacher a girding of sackcloth; branding instead of beauty.
௨௪அப்பொழுது, சுகந்தத்திற்குப் பதிலாகத் துர்க்கந்தமும், கச்சைக்குப் பதிலாகக் கயிறும், மயிர்ச்சுருளுக்குப் பதிலாக மொட்டையும், ஆடம்பரமான உடைகளுக்குப் பதிலாக சணல்உடையும், அழகுக்குப் பதிலாகக் கருகிப்போகுதலும் இருக்கும்.
25 Thy men shall fall by the sword, and thy mighty in the war.
௨௫உன் கணவன் பட்டயத்தினாலும், உன் பெலசாலிகள் யுத்தத்திலும் விழுவார்கள்.
26 And her gates shall lament and mourn; and utterly bereft she shall sit upon the ground.
௨௬அவளுடைய வாசல்கள் துக்கித்துப் புலம்பும்; அவள் வெறுமையாக்கப்பட்டுத் தரையிலே உட்காருவாள் என்கிறார்.
