Hosea 6
1 'Come, and let us return unto the LORD; for He hath torn, and He will heal us, He hath smitten, and He will bind us up.
၁လူတို့က``ထာဝရဘုရားထံသို့ပြန်ကြ စို့၊ ကိုယ်တော်သည်ငါတို့အားအနာတရ ဖြစ်စေသော်လည်း အနာပျောက်ကင်းအောင် ကုသတော်မူမည်။ ဒဏ်ရာရစေသော်လည်း အနာကိုပတ်စည်းတော်မူမည်။-
2 After two days will He revive us, on the third day He will raise us up, that we may live in His presence.
၂ငါတို့ကိုနှစ်ရက်သုံးရက်အတွင်းအင်အား ပြည့်လျက်ပြန်လည်ရှင်သန်စေတော်မူ၍ မျက်မှောက်တော်အောက်တွင်နေစေတော်မူ လိမ့်မည်။-
3 And let us know, eagerly strive to know the LORD, His going forth is sure as the morning; and He shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter rain that watereth the earth.'
၃ငါတို့သည်ထာဝရဘုရားကိုသိကျွမ်း ရန်ကြိုးစားအားထုတ်ကြကုန်အံ့။ နံနက် အရုဏ်တက်မြဲတက်သကဲ့သို့လည်းကောင်း၊ မိုးရာသီတွင်မြေကြီးပေါ်သို့မိုးရွာမြဲ ရွာသကဲ့သို့လည်းကောင်း ကိုယ်တော်သည် ငါတို့ထံသို့မုချကြွလာတော်မူမည်'' ဟုဆိုကြ၏။
4 O Ephraim, what shall I do unto thee? O Judah, what shall I do unto thee? for your goodness is as a morning cloud, and as the dew that early passeth away.
၄သို့ရာတွင်ထာဝရဘုရားက``ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသားနှင့်ယုဒအမျိုးသားတို့၊ သင် တို့ကိုငါမည်ကဲ့သို့စီရင်ရမည်နည်း၊ ငါ့ အားသင်တို့ထားသောမေတ္တာသည်နံနက် ဆီးနှင်းကဲ့သို့လည်းကောင်း၊ နှင်းပေါက်ကဲ့ သို့လည်းကောင်းပျောက်လွယ်လှ၏။-
5 Therefore have I hewed them by the prophets, I have slain them by the words of My mouth; and thy judgment goeth forth as the light.
၅ထို့ကြောင့်ငါသည်ပရောဖက်များကိုစေ လွှတ်၍ သင်တို့ကိုတရားစီရင်မည့်အကြောင်း နှင့်ပျက်စီးဆုံးပါးစေမည့်အကြောင်းကြား ပြောစေခဲ့၏။-
6 For I desire mercy, and not sacrifice, and the knowledge of God rather than burnt-offerings.
၆ငါသည်သင်တို့၏ယဇ်ကောင်ပူဇော်ခြင်းကို အလိုမရှိ၊ သင်တို့၏မေတ္တာကိုသာအလိုရှိ ၏။ ငါ၏လူမျိုးတော်သည်ငါ့အားမီးရှို့ရာ ယဇ်ပူဇော်ခြင်းထက်ငါ့အားသိကျွမ်းခြင်း ကိုသာအလိုရှိ၏။''
7 But they like men have transgressed the covenant; there have they dealt treacherously against Me.
၇``သို့ရာတွင်သူတို့သည်ပြည်တော်ထဲသို့ ဝင်ရောက်လျှင်ဝင်ရောက်ခြင်း ငါနှင့်ပြုလုပ် ခဲ့သောပဋိညာဉ်ကိုချိုးဖောက်ကြ၏။-
8 Gilead is a city of them that work iniquity, it is covered with footprints of blood.
၈ဂိလဒ်မြို့သည်လူဆိုးများလူသတ် သမားများမင်းမူရာအရပ်ဖြစ်သည်။-
9 And as troops of robbers wait for a man, so doth the company of priests; they murder in the way toward Shechem; yea, they commit enormity.
၉ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်များသည်လုယက်ရန်ချုံ ခိုစောင့်သောဋ္ဌားပြဂိုဏ်းကဲ့သို့ကျင့်ကြံ ကြသည်။ သူတို့သည်ရှေခင်မြို့သို့သွား ရာလမ်း၌ပင်လျှင်လူကိုသတ်ကြ၏။ သူ တို့သည်ဤကဲ့သို့ဆိုးရွားသောရာဇဝတ် မှုများကိုကူးလွန်ကြ၏။-
10 In the house of Israel I have seen a horrible thing; there harlotry is found in Ephraim, Israel is defiled.
၁၀ဣသရေလပြည်သားတို့၏စက်ဆုပ်ဖွယ် ကောင်းသောအမှုကိုငါမြင်ရပြီ။ ငါ၏ လူမျိုးတော်သည်ရုပ်တုများကိုကိုးကွယ် ၍မိမိတို့ကိုယ်ကိုညစ်ညမ်းစေကြပြီ။''
11 Also, O Judah, there is a harvest appointed for thee! When I would turn the captivity of My people,
၁၁``ယုဒပြည်သားတို့သင်တို့ကူးလွန်သည့် အပြစ်အတွက် သင်တို့အားလည်းငါပြစ် ဒဏ်စီရင်မည့်နေ့ရက်ကိုသတ်မှတ်ထား ပြီးဖြစ်သည်။''
