Hosea 2
1 Say ye unto your brethren: 'Ammi'; and to your sisters, 'Ruhamah.'
你們稱呼你們的弟兄為「我的人民」吧! 稱呼你們的姊妹為「蒙受愛憐者」吧!
2 Plead with your mother, plead; for she is not My wife, neither am I her husband; and let her put away her harlotries from her face, and her adulteries from between her breasts;
你們譴責你們的母親! 因為她不是我的妻子，我也不是她的丈夫；望她從自己的臉上除去自己的色相，從a勺胸間去掉淫亂，
3 Lest I strip her naked, and set her as in the day that she was born, and make her as a wilderness, and set her like a dry land, and slay her with thirst.
免得我剝去她的衣服，使她裸露，像她出生之日；使她相似曠野，使她有如旱地，叫她渴死。
4 And I will not have compassion upon her children; for they are children of harlotry.
至於她的子女，我也不愛憐，因為是由淫亂生的子女。
5 For their mother hath played the harlot, she that conceived them hath done shamefully; for she said: 'I will go after my lovers, that give me my bread and my water, my wool and my flax, mine oil and my drink.'
實在，他們的母親放蕩賣淫，那懷妊他們的，荒淫無恥，因為她曾說：我要追隨那些給我餅、水、羊毛、麻布、油和飲料的情人。
6 Therefore, behold, I will hedge up thy way with thorns, and I will make a wall against her, that she shall not find her paths.
因此，看，我要以荊棘杜塞她的去路，築一道牆壁，使她尋不著她的途徑；
7 And she shall run after her lovers, but she shall not overtake them, and she shall seek them, but shall not find them; then shall she say: 'I will go and return to my first husband; for then was it better with me than now.'
她要追隨她的情人，也追不上；要尋找他們，也尋不著。那時她要說：我願回去，回到我的前夫那裏去，因為那時為我比現在好得多。
8 For she did not know that it was I that gave her the corn, and the wine, and the oil, and multiplied unto her silver and gold, which they used for Baal.
她不肯承認是我賜給了她五穀、美酒和油；反之她把我廣施給她的金銀，都獻給了巴耳；
9 Therefore will I take back My corn in the time thereof, and My wine in the season thereof, and will snatch away My wool and My flax given to cover her nakedness.
因此等時期一到，我必要奪回我的五穀；時機一來，我必要奪回我的美酒，受回我用以遮蔽她的毛衣和麻布；
10 And now will I uncover her shame in the sight of her lovers, and none shall deliver her out of My hand.
我要這樣在她情人們眼前揭露她的羞恥，誰也不能由我手中救出她來。
11 I will also cause all her mirth to cease, her feasts, her new moons, and her sabbaths, and all her appointed seasons.
我要使她的歡樂停止，她再沒有節日、安息日和一切的盛會。
12 And I will lay waste her vines and her fig-trees, whereof she hath said: 'These are my hire that my lovers have given me'; and I will make them a forest, and the beasts of the field shall eat them.
我要摧殘她的葡萄園和無花果園，因她曾說：「這就是我的情人給我的身價。」我必要使它們成為山林，叫野獸來吃盡。
13 And I will visit upon her the days of the Baalim, wherein she offered unto them, and decked herself with her ear-rings and her jewels, and went after her lovers, and forgot Me, saith the LORD.
我要為了她敬拜巴耳的日子，懲罰她，就是她向他們燒香，以鼻環和項鍊修飾自己去追隨她的情人，而忘卻了我的的那些日子──上主的斷語。
14 Therefore, behold, I will allure her, and bring her into the wilderness, and speak tenderly unto her.
為此，看，我要誘她，領她到曠野和她談心。
15 And I will give her her vineyards from thence, and the valley of Achor for a door of hope; and she shall respond there, as in the days of her youth, and as in the day when she came up out of the land of Egypt.
從此我仍要將葡萄園賜給她，仍將阿苛爾山谷作為她的希望之門；她要上到那裏，就如她幼年時，就如她從埃及地上來的那一天一樣。
16 And it shall be at that day, saith the LORD, that thou shalt call Me Ishi, and shalt call Me no more Baali.
到那一天──上主的斷語──她要稱呼我為「依士」(我的丈夫)，不再稱呼我為「巴里」(我主)。
17 For I will take away the names of the Baalim out of her mouth, and they shall no more be mentioned by their name.
我必要從她的口中把巴耳的名號除掉，使他們再也不提起他們的姓名。
18 And in that day will I make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven, and with the creeping things of the ground; and I will break the bow and the sword and the battle out of the land, and will make them to lie down safely.
到那一天，為了他們，我要同田間的野獸，天空的飛鳥和地上的爬蟲訂立盟約，並且我要從地上將弓弩、刀劍和戰爭毀滅，使他們安居樂業。
19 And I will betroth thee unto Me for ever; yea, I will betroth thee unto Me in righteousness, and in justice, and in lovingkindness, and in compassion.
我要永遠聘娶妳，以公義、公平、慈愛、憐憫聘娶妳；
20 And I will betroth thee unto Me in faithfulness; and thou shalt know the LORD.
以忠實聘娶妳，使妳知道我是上主。
21 And it shall come to pass in that day, I will respond, saith the LORD, I will respond to the heavens, and they shall respond to the earth;
到那一天，我必要應允──上主的斷語──我要應允高天，高天要應允大地，
22 And the earth shall respond to the corn, and the wine, and the oil; and they shall respond to Jezreel.
大地要應允五榖、酒、油，五榖、酒、油也要應允依次勒耳。
23 And I will sow her unto Me in the land; and I will have compassion upon her that had not obtained compassion; and I will say to them that were not My people: 'Thou art My people'; and they shall say: 'Thou art my God.'
我要為我把她種在這地上，我要愛憐羅魯阿瑪(不蒙愛憐者)，我要對羅阿米(非我人民)說：「妳是我的人民。」而她要說：「你是我的天主。」
