Hosea 14

1 Return, O Israel, unto the LORD thy God; for thou hast stumbled in thine iniquity.

¡Oh Israel, regresa a Yavé tu ʼElohim, pues caíste a causa de tu iniquidad!

2 Take with you words, and return unto the LORD; say unto Him: 'Forgive all iniquity, and accept that which is good; so will we render for bullocks the offering of our lips.

Tomen palabras y regresen a Yavé. Díganle: Quita toda iniquidad, acéptanos con benevolencia. Te ofreceremos el fruto de nuestros labios.

3 Asshur shall not save us; we will not ride upon horses; neither will we call any more the work of our hands our gods; for in Thee the fatherless findeth mercy.'

Asiria no nos salvará. No montaremos en caballos, ni diremos nunca más a la obra de nuestras manos: ustedes son nuestro ʼElohim. Porque en ti el huérfano halla misericordia.

4 I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely; for Mine anger is turned away from him.

Sanaré su apostasía. Los amaré por gracia, porque mi ira se apartó de ellos.

5 I will be as the dew unto Israel; he shall blossom as the lily, and cast forth his roots as Lebanon.

Seré para Israel como el rocío. Florecerá como el lirio y extenderá sus raíces como el Líbano.

6 His branches shall spread, and his beauty shall be as the olive-tree, and his fragrance as Lebanon.

Se extenderán sus ramas. Su esplendor será como el del olivo, y exhalará su fragancia como el Líbano.

7 They that dwell under his shadow shall again make corn to grow, and shall blossom as the vine; the scent thereof shall be as the wine of Lebanon.

Regresarán y se sentarán bajo su sombra. Serán revividos como el grano y crecerán como una vid. Su aroma será como la del vino del Líbano.

8 Ephraim shall say: 'What have I to do any more with idols?' As for Me, I respond and look on him; I am like a leafy cypress-tree; from Me is thy fruit found.

Efraín dirá: ¿Qué más tengo yo que hacer con ídolos? Yo responderé y velaré por ti. Soy como un exuberante ciprés. De mí viene tu fruto.

9 Whoso is wise, let him understand these things, whoso is prudent, let him know them. For the ways of the LORD are right, and the just do walk in them; but transgressors do stumble therein.

El que es sabio, que entienda estas cosas. El que sea prudente que las sepa. Porque los caminos de Yavé son rectos, el justo andará en ellos, pero los transgresores tropezarán en ellos.
