Hosea 13
1 When Ephraim spoke, there was trembling, he exalted himself in Israel; but when he became guilty through Baal, he died.
১ইফ্ৰয়িমে কথা ক’লে, লোকসকল কঁপে; ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ফৈদ সমূহৰ মাজত তেওঁ মহান হৈছিল। কিন্তু বাল দেৱতাৰ সেৱা উপসনা কৰাৰ দোষত দোষী হৈ তেওঁ মৰিল।
2 And now they sin more and more, and have made them molten images of their silver, according to their own understanding, even idols, all of them the work of the craftsmen; of them they say: 'They that sacrifice men kiss calves.'
২এতিয়া তেওঁলোকে অধিককৈ পাপ কৰি আছে; তেওঁলোকে তেওঁলোকৰ ৰূপেৰে নিজৰ কাৰণে সাঁচত ঢলা মূর্তি, অর্থাৎ নিজৰ কলা-কৌশলেৰে প্ৰতিমা সাজিলে; এই সকলোবোৰ শিল্পকাৰৰ কাৰ্য; এই মূর্তিবোৰৰ সম্বন্ধে তেওঁলোকে কয়, “যি সকলে উৎসর্গ কৰে, তেওঁলোকে দামুৰিৰ মূর্তিবোৰক চুমা খাওঁক”।
3 Therefore they shall be as the morning cloud, and as the dew that early passeth away, as the chaff that is driven with the wind out of the threshing-floor, and as the smoke out of the window.
৩সেই বাবে তেওঁলোক প্ৰভাতৰ কুঁৱলীৰ নিচিনা হ’ব, সোনকালে অদৃশ্য হৈ যোৱা নিয়ৰৰ নিচিনা, মৰণা মৰা মজিয়াৰ পৰা বা’মৰলী বতাহে উৰুৱাই নিয়া তুঁহৰ নিচিনা, খিড়িকিয়েদি বাহিৰলৈ ওলোৱা ধুঁৱাৰ নিচিনা হ’ব।
4 Yet I am the LORD thy God from the land of Egypt; and thou knowest no God but Me, and beside Me there is no saviour.
৪তথাপি মিচৰ দেশৰ পৰা বাহিৰ কৰি অনা দিনৰে পৰা ময়েই তোমালোকৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱা; মোৰ বাহিৰে তোমালোকৰ আন কোনো ঈশ্বৰ নাই; মোৰ বাহিৰে তোমালোকৰ আন কোনো উদ্ধাৰকৰ্ত্তা নাই।
5 I did know thee in the wilderness, in the land of great drought.
৫মৰুভূমিত, শুকান দেশত ময়েই তোমালোকক দেখা-শুনা কৰিছিলোঁ।
6 When they were fed, they became full, they were filled, and their heart was exalted; therefore have they forgotten Me.
৬যেতিয়া তোমালোকে চৰণী পালা, তেতিয়া তোমালোক তৃ্প্ত হলা, তোমালোক তৃ্প্ত হোৱাত, তোমালোকৰ মনত গৰ্ব হল, এই নিমিত্তে তমালোকে মোক পাহৰিলা।
7 Therefore am I become unto them as a lion; as a leopard will I watch by the way;
৭সেই কাৰণে মই তেওঁলোকৰ ওপৰত সিংহৰ দৰেই হ’ম; নাহৰফুটুকী বাঘৰ নিচিনাকৈ বাটত খাপ দি থাকিম।
8 I will meet them as a bear that is bereaved of her whelps, and will rend the enclosure of their heart; and there will I devour them like a lioness; the wild beast shall tear them.
৮পোৱালি কাঢ়ি চুৰ কৰি নিয়া ভালুকীৰ দৰে মই তেওঁলোকৰ ওপৰত আক্রমণ কৰি তেওঁলোকৰ হিয়া চিৰা-ছিৰ কৰিম; সিংহিনীৰ নিচিনাকৈ মই তেওঁলোকক সেই ঠাইতে গ্ৰাস কৰিম; বনৰীয়া জন্তুৰ দৰে তেওঁলোকক ছিন্ন ভিন্ন কৰিম।
9 It is thy destruction, O Israel, that thou art against Me, against thy help.
৯হে ইস্ৰায়েল, তুমি মোৰ বিপক্ষে অর্থাৎ তোমালোকৰ সহায়কাৰীৰ বিপক্ষে থকাৰ কাৰণে মই তোমাক বিনাশ কৰিম,
10 Ho, now, thy king, that he may save thee in all thy cities! and thy judges, of whom thou saidst: 'Give me a king and princes!'
১০এতিয়া তোমাৰ ৰজা ক’ত আছে, যি জনে সকলো নগৰতে তোমাক ৰক্ষা কৰিব পাৰিব? এতিয়া তোমাৰ শাসনকর্তাসকল ক’ত আছে, যি সকলৰ বিষয়ে তুমি মোক কৈছিলা, “মোক এজন ৰজা আৰু শাসনকর্তাসকলক দিয়া?”
11 I give thee a king in Mine anger, and take him away in My wrath.
১১সেয়ে মই খং উঠি তোমাক এজন ৰজা দিছিলোঁ আৰু মোৰ ক্রোধে তেওঁক আঁতৰাই নিলে।
12 The iniquity of Ephraim is bound up; his sin is laid up in store.
১২ইফ্ৰয়িমৰ অপৰাধ বান্ধি থোৱা হ’ল; তেওঁৰ পাপবোৰ সাঁচি থোৱা হ’ল।
13 The throes of a travailing woman shall come upon him; he is an unwise son; for it is time he should not tarry in the place of the breaking forth of children.
১৩নাৰীৰ প্ৰসৱবেদনাৰ দৰে তেওঁৰ ওপৰলৈ কষ্ট আহিব। কিন্তু তেওঁতো এজন অজ্ঞান পুত্ৰ; জন্মৰ সঠিক সময়ত তেওঁ গর্ভৰ প্ৰসৱ-দুৱাৰৰ মুখলৈ নাহা।
14 Shall I ransom them from the power of the nether-world? Shall I redeem them from death? Ho, thy plagues, O death! Ho, thy destruction, O nether-world! Repentance be hid from Mine eyes! (Sheol h7585)
১৪চিয়োলৰ শক্তিৰ পৰা মই তেওঁক উদ্ধাৰ কৰিম নে? মৃত্যুৰ পৰা মই তেওঁক মুক্ত কৰিম নে? হে মৃত্যু, তোমাৰ মহামাৰীবোৰ ক’ত? হে চিয়োল, তোমাৰ সংহাৰ ক’ত? মোৰ চকুৰ পৰা মমতা লুকাই আছে। (Sheol h7585)
15 For though he be fruitful among the reed-plants, an east wind shall come, the wind of the LORD coming up from the wilderness, and his spring shall become dry, and his fountain shall be dried up; he shall spoil the treasure of all precious vessels.
১৫ইফ্ৰয়িমে তেওঁৰ ভাইসকলৰ মাজত সফলতা লাভ কৰিলেও, যিহোৱাৰ পৰা এক প্রৱল পূবৰ বতাহ আহিব, মৰুভূমিৰ পৰা বৈ আহিব; ইফ্রয়িমৰ জুৰিবোৰ শুকাই যাব আৰু কুৱাঁত পানী নোহোৱা হ’ব; শত্ৰুৱে তেওঁৰ ভঁৰালৰ সকলো মূল্যৱান বস্তু লুট কৰি নিব।
16 Samaria shall bear her guilt, for she hath rebelled against her God; they shall fall by the sword; their infants shall be dashed in pieces, and their women with child shall be ripped up.
১৬চমৰিয়া দোষী হ’ব; কাৰণ তেওঁ ঈশ্বৰৰ বিৰুদ্ধে বিদ্ৰোহ কৰিলে; তেওঁলোক তৰোৱালৰ দ্বাৰাই মৰিব, তেওঁলোকৰ শিশুসকলক আচাৰি ছিন্ন-ভিন্ন কৰা হ’ব, তেওঁলোকৰ গৰ্ভৱতী নাৰীসকলৰ উদৰ ফালি পেলোৱা হ’ব।
