Hosea 1
1 THE WORD of the LORD that came unto Hosea the son of Beeri, in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel.
Bu, Yəhuda padşahları Uzziya, Yotam, Axaz, Xizqiya və İsrail padşahı Yoaş oğlu Yarovamın dövründə Beeri oğlu Huşəyə nazil olan Rəbbin sözüdür.
2 When the LORD spoke at first with Hosea, the LORD said unto Hosea: 'Go, take unto thee a wife of harlotry and children of harlotry; for the land doth commit great harlotry, departing from the LORD.'
Rəbb Huşənin vasitəsilə danışmağa başlayarkən ona belə dedi: «Get xəyanətkar bir arvad al və onun kimi xəyanətkar uşaqların olsun, çünki ölkənin xalqı Rəbdən üz döndərərək Ona hədsiz xəyanət edir».
3 So he went and took Gomer the daughter of Diblaim; and she conceived, and bore him a son.
Huşə gedib Divlayimin qızı Qomeri özünə arvad aldı. Qomer hamilə olub ona bir oğul doğdu.
4 And the LORD said unto him: 'Call his name Jezreel; for yet a little while, and I will visit the blood of Jezreel upon the house of Jehu, and will cause to cease the kingdom of the house of Israel.
Rəbb Huşəyə dedi: «Onun adını İzreel qoy, çünki tezliklə Mən İzreeldə tökülən qanın əvəzini Yehunun nəslindən alacağam və İsrail nəslinin padşahlığına son qoyacağam.
5 And it shall come to pass at that day, that I will break the bow of Israel in the valley of Jezreel.'
Həmin gün İzreel vadisində İsrailin kamanını qıracağam».
6 And she conceived again, and bore a daughter. And He said unto him: 'Call her name Lo-ruhamah; for I will no more have compassion upon the house of Israel, that I should in any wise pardon them.
Qomer yenə hamilə olub bir qız doğdu. Rəbb Huşəyə dedi: «Onun adını Lo-Ruxama qoy, çünki Mən daha İsrail nəslinə mərhəmət edib onu bağışlamayacağam.
7 But I will have compassion upon the house of Judah, and will save them by the LORD their God, and will not save them by bow, nor by sword, nor by battle, nor by horses, nor by horsemen.'
Yəhuda nəslinə isə Mən – onların Allahı Rəbb mərhəmət göstərəcəyəm, onları xilas edəcəyəm, ancaq onları nə kaman, nə qılınc, nə müharibə, nə atlar, nə də süvarilərlə xilas edəcəyəm».
8 Now when she had weaned Lo-ruhamah, she conceived, and bore a son.
Qomer Lo-Ruxamanı süddən kəsən kimi yenə hamilə olub bir oğul doğdu.
9 And He said: 'Call his name Lo-ammi; for ye are not My people, and I will not be yours.'
Rəbb dedi: «Onun adını Lo-Ammi qoy, çünki siz Mənim xalqım deyilsiniz, Mən də sizin Allahınız olmayacağam.
10 Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass that, instead of that which was said unto them: 'Ye are not My people', it shall be said unto them: 'Ye are the children of the living God.'
Ancaq İsrail övladları dəniz qumu kimi saysız-hesabsız olacaq. Onlara “siz Mənim xalqım deyilsiniz” deyilən yerdə “siz var olan Allahın övladlarısınız” deyiləcək.
11 And the children of Judah and the children of Israel shall be gathered together, and they shall appoint themselves one head, and shall go up out of the land; for great shall be the day of Jezreel.
Yəhuda və İsrail övladları bir yerə yığılıb özlərinə vahid başçı təyin edəcək. Onlar ölkədən çıxacaq, çünki İzreel günü möhtəşəm bir gün olacaq.
