Haggai 2
1 In the seventh month, in the one and twentieth day of the month, came the word of the LORD by Haggai the prophet, saying:
१दारयावेश राजाच्या कारकीर्दीच्या दुसऱ्या वर्षाच्या सातव्या महिन्याच्या एकविसाव्या दिवशी हाग्गय संदेष्ट्याच्या द्वारे परमेश्वराचे वचन आले आणि म्हणाले,
2 'Speak now to Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and to the remnant of the people, saying:
२यहूदाचा राज्यपाल आणि शल्तीएलाचा मुलगा जरुब्बाबेल आणि मुख्य याजक यहोसादाकाचा मुलगा यहोशवा आणि उरलेल्या लोकांशी तू बोल. म्हण,
3 Who is left among you that saw this house in its former glory? and how do ye see it now? is not such a one as nothing in your eyes?
३ज्याने हे मंदिर त्याच्या पहिल्या वैभवात पाहिले, असा कोण तुम्हामध्ये उरला आहे? आणि आता तुम्हास हे कसे दिसते? हे तुमच्या नजरेत काहीच नसल्यासारखे नाही काय?
4 Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, saith the LORD; and be strong, O Joshua, son of Jehozadak, the high priest; and be strong, all ye people of the land, saith the LORD, and work; for I am with you, saith the LORD of hosts.
४परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो, आता, हे जरुब्बाबेला बलवान हो! आणि हे मुख्य याजका, यहोसादाकाच्या मुला, यहोशवा, बलवान हो; आणि या देशाच्या सर्व लोकांनो, बलवान व्हा. असे परमेश्वर म्हणतो. आणि काम करा, कारण मी तुम्हाबरोबर आहे! असे सेनाधीश परमेश्वर म्हणतो.
5 The word that I covenanted with you when ye came out of Egypt have I established, and My spirit abideth among you; fear ye not.
५तुम्ही जेव्हा मिसरातून बाहेर आला तेव्हा जे वचन बोलून मी तुमच्याबरोबर करार स्थापित केला, त्याप्रमाणे मी तुम्हासोबत आहे आणि माझा आत्मा तुमच्यात राहत आहे, घाबरू नका!
6 For thus saith the LORD of hosts: Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land;
६कारण सेनाधीश परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो, अगदी थोड्या वेळात मी पुन्हा एकदा आकाश आणि पृथ्वी, समुद्र आणि कोरडी जमीन हालवून सोडीन.
7 and I will shake all nations, and the choicest things of all nations shall come, and I will fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of hosts.
७आणि मी प्रत्येक राष्ट्रांना हालवून सोडीन, आणि प्रत्येक राष्ट्र त्यांच्या मोलवान वस्तू माझ्याकडे घेऊन येतील, आणि मी हे मंदिर वैभवाने भरून टाकीन! असे सेनाधीश परमेश्वर म्हणतो.
8 Mine is the silver, and Mine the gold, saith the LORD of hosts.
८रुपे माझे आहे, सोने माझे आहे! असे सेनाधीश परमेश्वर म्हणतो.
9 The glory of this latter house shall be greater than that of the former, saith the LORD of hosts; and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts.'
९या मंदिराचे शेवटचे वैभव ह्याच्या पूर्वीच्या वैभवापेक्षा अधिक मोठे होईल, असे सेनाधीश परमेश्वर म्हणतो, आणि मी या स्थळास शांती देईन, असे सेनाधीश परमेश्वर म्हणतो.
10 In the four and twentieth day of the ninth month, in the second year of Darius, came the word of the LORD by Haggai the prophet, saying:
१०दारयावेश याच्या कारकिर्दीच्या दुसऱ्या वर्षीच्या नवव्या महिन्याच्या चोविसाव्या दिवशी हाग्गय संदेष्ट्याच्याद्वारे परमेश्वराचे वचन आले,
11 'Thus saith the LORD of hosts: Ask now the priests for instruction, saying:
११सेनाधीश परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो, आता तू याजकांना नियमशास्त्राविषयी विचार आणि म्हण,
12 If one bear hallowed flesh in the skirt of his garment, and with his skirt do touch bread, or pottage, or wine, or oil, or any food, shall it be holy?' And the priests answered and said: 'No.'
१२जर कोणी आपल्या वस्त्राच्या पदरातून समर्पित मांस नेतो. त्याच्या पदराने भाकरीला, किंवा कालवणाला, द्रक्षरस किंवा तेल, किंवा इतर अन्नाला स्पर्श झाला, तर या सर्व वस्तू पवित्र होतील का? याजकांनी उत्तर दिले, “नाही.”
13 Then said Haggai: 'If one that is unclean by a dead body touch any of these, shall it be unclean?' And the priests answered and said: 'It shall be unclean.'
१३मग हाग्गय म्हणाला, “जर प्रेताला स्पर्श केल्यामुळे, कोणी अशुद्ध झालेला यापैकी कशासही स्पर्श केला, तर ते अशुद्ध होईल का?” याजक म्हणाले, “हो! तेसुध्दा अशुद्ध होईल.”
14 Then answered Haggai, and said: 'So is this people, and so is this nation before me, saith the LORD; and so is every work of their hands; and that which they offer there is unclean.
१४मग हाग्गयाने उत्तर दिले आणि म्हणाला, परमेश्वर म्हणतो, तसे हे लोक व तसे हे राष्ट्र माझ्यासमोर आहे, तसे त्यांचे हाताचे प्रत्येक काम आहे, तेथे ते जे अर्पण करतात ते अशुद्ध आहे.
15 And now, I pray you, consider from this day and forward — before a stone was laid upon a stone in the temple of the LORD,
१५तर आता आमच्या पूर्वी परमेश्वराच्या मंदिराचा दगडावर दगड ठेवण्याच्या पूर्वीची पद्धत कशी होती याचा विचार करा.
16 through all that time, when one came to a heap of twenty measures, there were but ten; when one came to the winevat to draw out fifty press-measures, there were but twenty;
१६त्या दिवसात जर कोणी वीस मापे धान्याच्या राशीजवळ आला तर त्याच्या हाती दहा मापेच लागत. द्राक्षकुंडातून पन्नास पात्रे भरून काढावयास गेला तर त्यास फक्त वीसच मिळत होते.
17 I smote you with blasting and with mildew and with hail in all the work of your hands; yet ye turned not to Me, saith the LORD —
१७मी तुम्हास आणि तुमच्या हातच्या सर्व कामावर पाठवलेले रोग आणि बुरशी यांनी पीडले पण तुम्ही माझ्याकडे फिरला नाहीत, असे परमेश्वर म्हणतो.
18 consider, I pray you, from this day and forward, from the four and twentieth day of the ninth month, even from the day that the foundation of the LORD'S temple was laid, consider it;
१८“आजच्या पूर्वीची स्थिती कशी होती याचा विचार करा. नवव्या महिन्याच्या चोविसाव्या दिवसापासून ज्या दिवशी परमेश्वराच्या मंदिराचा पाया घातला त्या दिवसापासून स्थिती कशी होईल याचा विचार करा.
19 is the seed yet in the barn? yea, the vine, and the fig-tree, and the pomegranate, and the olive-tree hath not brought forth — from this day will I bless you.'
१९कोठारात अजून बीज आहे काय? द्राक्षवेल, अंजीराचे झाड, डाळिंब, आणि जैतून झाड ह्यांनी काही उत्पन्न दिले नाही! पण या दिवसापासून मी तुम्हास आशीर्वाद देईन!”
20 And the word of the LORD came the second time unto Haggai in the four and twentieth day of the month, saying:
२०मग महिन्याच्या चोविसाव्या दिवशी, हाग्गयाकडे परमेश्वराचे वचन दुसऱ्यांदा आले आणि म्हणाले,
21 'Speak to Zerubbabel, governor of Judah, saying: I will shake the heavens and the earth;
२१यहूदाचा राज्यपाल जरुब्बाबेलाशी बोल व सांग, मी आकाश आणि पृथ्वी हालवीन.
22 and I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms, and I will destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the nations; and I will overthrow the chariots, and those that ride in them; and the horses and their riders shall come down, every one by the sword of his brother.
२२मी राज्यांचे सिंहासन उलथवून टाकीन आणि राष्ट्रांचे बळ नष्ट करीन! मी त्यांच्या रथांना व सारथ्यांना उलथून टाकीन. त्यांचे घोडे व सारथी खाली पडतील, कारण प्रत्येकजण आपल्या भावाच्या तलवारीने पडेल.
23 In that day, saith the LORD of hosts, will I take thee, O Zerubbabel, My servant, the son of Shealtiel, saith the LORD, and will make thee as a signet; for I have chosen thee, saith the LORD of hosts.'
२३सेनाधीश परमेश्वर म्हणतो, त्यादिवशी हे शल्तीएलाच्या मुला, जरुब्बाबेला, माझ्या सेवकाप्रमाणे मी तुला घेईन, असे परमेश्वर म्हणतो. मी तुला मुद्रांकित अंगठीप्रमाणे करीन, कारण मी तुला निवडले आहे! असे सेनाधीश परमेश्वर म्हणतो.
