Genesis 46
1 And Israel took his journey with all that he had, and came to Beer-sheba, and offered sacrifices unto the God of his father Isaac.
E Israel hizo su viaje con todo lo que tenía, y vino a Beerseba, donde hizo ofrendas al Dios de su padre Isaac.
2 And God spoke unto Israel in the visions of the night, and said: 'Jacob, Jacob.' And he said: 'Here am I.'
Y dijo Dios a Israel en visión nocturna, Jacob, Jacob. Y él dijo: Aquí estoy.
3 And He said: 'I am God, the God of thy father; fear not to go down into Egypt; for I will there make of thee a great nation.
Y dijo: Dios, el Dios de tu padre, desciende a Egipto sin temor, porque allí te haré una gran nación;
4 I will go down with thee into Egypt; and I will also surely bring thee up again; and Joseph shall put his hand upon thine eyes.'
Bajaré contigo a Egipto, y veré que vuelvas otra vez, y en tu muerte José pondrá tus manos sobre tus ojos.
5 And Jacob rose up from Beer-sheba; and the sons of Israel carried Jacob their father, and their little ones, and their wives, in the wagons which Pharaoh had sent to carry him.
Entonces Jacob pasó de Beer-seba; y los hijos de Jacob tomaron a su padre, a sus pequeños y a sus mujeres en los carros que el Faraón había enviado para ellos.
6 And they took their cattle, and their goods, which they had gotten in the land of Canaan, and came into Egypt, Jacob, and all his seed with him;
Y tomaron sus ganados y todos los bienes que habían adquirido en la tierra de Canaán, y vinieron a Egipto, Jacob y toda su descendencia:
7 his sons, and his sons' sons with him, his daughters, and his sons' daughters, and all his seed brought he with him into Egypt.
Sus hijos, los hijos de sus hijos, sus hijas, los hijos de sus hijas y toda su familia lo llevaron consigo a Egipto.
8 And these are the names of the children of Israel, who came into Egypt, Jacob and his sons: Reuben, Jacob's first-born.
Estos son los nombres de los hijos de Israel que entraron en Egipto, Jacob y todos sus hijos: Rubén, el hijo mayor de Jacob;
9 And the sons of Reuben: Hanoch, and Pallu, and Hezron, and Carmi.
Y los hijos de Rubén: Hanoc, Falu, Hezrón y Carmi;
10 And the sons of Simeon: Jemuel, and Jamin, and Ohad, and Jachin, and Zohar, and Shaul the son of a Canaanitish woman.
Y los hijos de Simeón: Jemuel, Jamín, Ohad, Jaquín, Zohar, y Saúl, hijo de mujer de Canaán;
11 And the sons of Levi: Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.
Y los hijos de Leví: Gersón, Coat, y Merari;
12 And the sons of Judah: Er, and Onan, and Shelah, and Perez, and Zerah; but Er and Onan died in the land of Canaan. And the sons of Perez were Hezron and Hamul.
Y los hijos de Judá: Er, y Onán, y Sela, y Fares, y Zara; mas Er y Onán habían venido a la muerte en la tierra de Canaán; y los hijos de Fares fueron Hezrón y Hamul.
13 And the sons of Issachar: Tola, and Puvah, and Iob, and Shimron.
Y los hijos de Isacar: Tola, Fúa, Job, y Simrón;
14 And the sons of Zebulun: Sered, and Elon, and Jahleel.
Y los hijos de Zabulón: Sered, Elón, y Jahleel;
15 These are the sons of Leah, whom she bore unto Jacob in Paddan-aram, with his daughter Dinah; all the souls of his sons and his daughters were thirty and three.
Todos estos, junto con su hija Dina, fueron los hijos de Lea, a quien Jacob tuvo por ella en Padan-aram; tenían treinta y tres en número.
16 And the sons of Gad: Ziphion, and Haggi, Shuni, and Ezbon, Eri, and Arodi, and Areli.
Y los hijos de Gad: Zifión, Hagui, Suni, Ezbón, Eri, Arodi, y Areli;
17 And the sons of Asher: Imnah, and Ishvah, and Ishvi, and Beriah, and Serah their sister; and the sons of Beriah: Heber, and Malchiel.
Y los hijos de Aser: Imna, Isua, Isui, Bería, y Sara su hermana; y los hijos de Bería: Heber y Malquiel.
18 These are the sons of Zilpah, whom Laban gave to Leah his daughter, and these she bore unto Jacob, even sixteen souls.
Estos son los hijos de Zilpa, que Labán dio a su hija Lea, y Jacob tuvo estos dieciséis hijos con ella.
19 The sons of Rachel Jacob's wife: Joseph and Benjamin.
Los hijos de la mujer de Jacob, Raquel: José y Benjamín.
20 And unto Joseph in the land of Egypt were born Manasseh and Ephraim, whom Asenath the daughter of Poti-phera priest of On bore unto him.
Y José tuvo a Manasés y a Efraín en la tierra de Egipto, por Asenat, hija de Poti-fera, sacerdote de On.
21 And the sons of Benjamin: Bela, and Becher, and Ashbel, Gera, and Naaman, Ehi, and Rosh, Muppim, and Huppim, and Ard.
Y los hijos de Benjamín fueron Bela, Bequer, Asbel, Gera, Naamán, Ehi, Ros, Mupim, Hupim y Ard.
22 These are the sons of Rachel, who were born to Jacob; all the souls were fourteen.
Todos estos fueron los hijos de Raquel, que Jacob tenía por ella, catorce personas.
23 And the sons of Dan: Hushim.
Y el hijo de Dan fue Hushim.
24 And the sons of Naphtali: Jahzeel, and Guni, and Jezer, and Shillem.
Y los hijos de Neftalí: Jahzeel, Guni, Jezer, y Silem.
25 These are the sons of Bilhah, whom Laban gave unto Rachel his daughter, and these she bore unto Jacob; all the souls were seven.
Estos fueron los hijos de Bilha, a quien Labán dio a su hija Raquel, siete personas.
26 All the souls belonging to Jacob that came into Egypt, that came out of his loins, besides Jacob's sons' wives, all the souls were threescore and six.
Todas las personas que vinieron con Jacob a Egipto, la descendencia de su cuerpo, fueron sesenta y seis, sin tomar en cuenta las mujeres de los hijos de Jacob.
27 And the sons of Joseph, who were born to him in Egypt, were two souls; all the souls of the house of Jacob, that came into Egypt, were threescore and ten.
Y los hijos de José que tuvo en Egipto fueron dos. Setenta personas de la familia de Jacob vinieron a Egipto.
28 And he sent Judah before him unto Joseph, to show the way before him unto Goshen; and they came into the land of Goshen.
Ahora él había enviado a Judá antes que él a Gosén, para recibir noticias de José; y así llegaron a la tierra de Goshen.
29 And Joseph made ready his chariot, and went up to meet Israel his father, to Goshen; and he presented himself unto him, and fell on his neck, and wept on his neck a good while.
Y José preparó su carruaje y fue a Gosén para la reunión con su padre; y cuando llegó delante de él, puso sus brazos alrededor de su cuello, llorando.
30 And Israel said unto Joseph: 'Now let me die, since I have seen thy face, that thou art yet alive.'
Y dijo Israel a José: Ahora que te he visto volver a vivir, estoy listo para la muerte.
31 And Joseph said unto his brethren, and unto his father's house: 'I will go up, and tell Pharaoh, and will say unto him: My brethren, and my father's house, who were in the land of Canaan, are come unto me;
Y dijo José a sus hermanos y al pueblo de su padre: iré, y daré las nuevas a Faraón, y le diré: Mis hermanos y el pueblo de mi padre, de la tierra de Canaán, vinieron a mí;
32 and the men are shepherds, for they have been keepers of cattle; and they have brought their flocks, and their herds, and all that they have.
Y estos hombres son cuidadores de ovejas y dueños de ganado, y tienen consigo sus rebaños y sus vacas y todo lo que tienen.
33 And it shall come to pass, when Pharaoh shall call you, and shall say: What is your occupation?
Cuando Faraón te llame y pregunte: ¿Cuál es tu ocupación?
34 that ye shall say: Thy servants have been keepers of cattle from our youth even until now, both we, and our fathers; that ye may dwell in the land of Goshen; for every shepherd is an abomination unto the Egyptians.'
Debes decir: tus siervos han sido cuidadores de ganado desde nuestros días hasta ahora, como nuestros padres; de esta manera, ustedes podrán tener la tierra de Goshen por ustedes mismos; porque los que guardan las ovejas son inmundos a los ojos de los egipcios.
