Genesis 33
1 And Jacob lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, Esau came, and with him four hundred men. And he divided the children unto Leah, and unto Rachel, and unto the two handmaids.
Воззрев же Иаков очима своима, виде: и се, Исав брат его идый, и четыриста мужей с ним. И раздели Иаков дети Лии и Рахили и двум рабыням,
2 And he put the handmaids and their children foremost, and Leah and her children after, and Rachel and Joseph hindermost.
и постави обе рабыни и сыны их в первых, Лию же и дети ея позади, а Рахиль и Иосифа в последних:
3 And he himself passed over before them, and bowed himself to the ground seven times, until he came near to his brother.
сам же изыде первее пред ними и поклонися до земли седмижды, дондеже приближися к брату своему.
4 And Esau ran to meet him, and embraced him, and fell on his neck, and kissed him; and they wept.
И притече Исав во сретение ему: и объемь его, припаде на выю его и облобыза его: и плакастася оба.
5 And he lifted up his eyes, and saw the women and the children; and said: 'Who are these with thee?' And he said: 'The children whom God hath graciously given thy servant.'
И воззрев Исав, виде жены и дети и рече: что сии тебе суть? Он же рече: дети, имиже помилова Бог раба твоего.
6 Then the handmaids came near, they and their children, and they bowed down.
И приступиша рабыни и дети их и поклонишася:
7 And Leah also and her children came near, and bowed down; and after came Joseph near and Rachel, and they bowed down.
и приступи Лиа и дети ея и поклонишася: посем же приступи Рахиль и Иосиф и поклонистася.
8 And he said: 'What meanest thou by all this camp which I met?' And he said: 'To find favour in the sight of my lord.'
И рече: что сия тебе суть, полцы сии вси, яже сретох? Он же рече: да обрящет раб твой благодать пред тобою, господине.
9 And Esau said: 'I have enough; my brother, let that which thou hast be thine.'
Рече же Исав: суть мне многа, брате: да будут тебе твоя.
10 And Jacob said: 'Nay, I pray thee, if now I have found favour in thy sight, then receive my present at my hand; forasmuch as I have seen thy face, as one seeth the face of God, and thou wast pleased with me.
И рече Иаков: аще обретох благодать пред тобою, приими дары от руку моею: сего ради видех лице твое, яко бы аще кто видел лице Божие: и возблаговолиши о мне:
11 Take, I pray thee, my gift that is brought to thee; because God hath dealt graciously with me, and because I have enough.' And he urged him, and he took it.
приими благословение мое, еже принесох тебе, яко помилова мя Бог, и суть ми вся. И принуди его, и взя.
12 And he said: 'Let us take our journey, and let us go, and I will go before thee.'
И рече: воставше пойдем прямо.
13 And he said unto him: 'My lord knoweth that the children are tender, and that the flocks and herds giving suck are a care to me; and if they overdrive them one day, all the flocks will die.
Рече же ему: господин мой весть, яко дети мои юны, овцы же и говяда бременны у мене: аще убо пожену я един день, измрет весь скот:
14 Let my lord, I pray thee, pass over before his servant; and I will journey on gently, according to the pace of the cattle that are before me and according to the pace of the children, until I come unto my lord unto Seir.'
да предидет господин мой пред рабом своим: аз же укреплюся на пути умедлением шествия моего, еже предо мною, и якоже возмогут ити дети, дондеже прииду к господину моему в Сиир.
15 And Esau said: 'Let me now leave with thee some of the folk that are with me.' And he said: 'What needeth it? let me find favour in the sight of my lord.'
И рече Исав: оставлю с тобою от людий сущих со мною. Он же рече: вскую сие? Довлеет, яко обретох благодать пред тобою, господине.
16 So Esau returned that day on his way unto Seir.
Возвратися же Исав в том дни путем своим в Сиир:
17 And Jacob journeyed to Succoth, and built him a house, and made booths for his cattle. Therefore the name of the place is called Succoth.
и Иаков пойде в Кущы, и постави себе тамо храмины, и скоту своему сотвори кущы: сего ради нарече имя месту тому Кущы.
18 And Jacob came in peace to the city of Shechem, which is in the land of Canaan, when he came from Paddan-aram; and encamped before the city.
И прииде Иаков в салим град Сикимск, иже есть в земли Ханаанстей, егда прииде от Месопотамии Сирския, и ста пред лицем града:
19 And he bought the parcel of ground, where he had spread his tent, at the hand of the children of Hamor, Shechem's father, for a hundred pieces of money.
и купи часть села, идеже постави кущу свою тамо, у Еммора отца Сихемля, стома агнцы:
20 And he erected there an altar, and called it El-elohe-Israel.
и постави тамо жертвенник, и призва Бога Израилева.
