Genesis 25
1 And Abraham took another wife, and her name was Keturah.
Приложив же Авраам, поя жену, ейже имя Хеттура:
2 And she bore him Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah.
роди же ему Зомврана и Иезана, и Мадала и Мадиама, и Иесвока и Соиена.
3 And Jokshan begot Sheba, and Dedan. And the sons of Dedan were Asshurim, and Letushim, and Leummim.
Иезан же роди Савана и Фамана и Дедана. Сынове же Дедани быша: Рагуил и Навдеил, и Асуриим и Латусиим и Лаомим.
4 And the sons of Midian: Ephah, and Epher, and Hanoch, and Abida, and Eldaah. All these were the children of Keturah.
Сынове же Мадиамли: Ефар и афир, и Енох и Авида и Елдага. Вси сии быша сынове Хеттурины.
5 And Abraham gave all that he had unto Isaac.
Даде же Авраам вся своя имения Исааку сыну своему:
6 But unto the sons of the concubines, that Abraham had, Abraham gave gifts; and he sent them away from Isaac his son, while he yet lived, eastward, unto the east country.
сыном же наложниц своих даде Авраам дары и отпусти я от Исаака сына своего, еще жив сый, к востоку на землю восточную.
7 And these are the days of the years of Abraham's life which he lived, a hundred threescore and fifteen years.
Сия же лета дний жития Авраамля, елика поживе, лет сто седмьдесят пять:
8 And Abraham expired, and died in a good old age, an old man, and full of years; and was gathered to his people.
и ослабев умре Авраам в старости добрей, старец исполнен дний, и приложися к людем своим.
9 And Isaac and Ishmael his sons buried him in the cave of Machpelah, in the field of Ephron the son of Zohar the Hittite, which is before Mamre;
И погребоша его Исаак и Исмаил два сынове его в пещере Сугубей, на селе Ефронове сына Саарова Хеттеанина, еже есть прямо Мамврии,
10 the field which Abraham purchased of the children of Heth; there was Abraham buried, and Sarah his wife.
на селе и в пещере, юже притяжа Авраам от сынов Хеттеовых: тамо погребоша Авраама и Сарру жену его.
11 And it came to pass after the death of Abraham, that God blessed Isaac his son; and Isaac dwelt by Beer-lahai-roi.
Бысть же по умертвии Авраамли, благослови Бог Исаака сына его: и вселися Исаак у кладязя Видения.
12 Now these are the generations of Ishmael, Abraham's son, whom Hagar the Egyptian, Sarah's handmaid, bore unto Abraham.
Сия же бытия Исмаила сына Авраамля, егоже роди Агарь Египтяныня, раба Саррина, Аврааму:
13 And these are the names of the sons of Ishmael, by their names, according to their generations: the first-born of Ishmael, Nebaioth; and Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam,
и сия имена сынов Исмаилих, по именом родов его: первенец Исмаилов Наваиоф, и Кидар и Навдеил, и Массам
14 and Mishma, and Dumah, and Massa;
и Масма, и Дума и Масси,
15 Hadad, and Tema, Jetur, Naphish, and Kedem;
и Ходдан и Феман, и Иетур и Нафес и Кедма.
16 these are the sons of Ishmael, and these are their names, by their villages, and by their encampments; twelve princes according to their nations.
Сии суть сынове Исмаили: и сия имена их в скиниях их и в селех их: дванадесять князи в языцех их.
17 And these are the years of the life of Ishmael, a hundred and thirty and seven years; and he expired and died; and was gathered unto his people.
И сия лета жития Исмаилова, сто тридесять седмь лет: и ослабев умре, и приложися к роду своему.
18 And they dwelt from Havilah unto Shur that is before Egypt, as thou goest toward Asshur: over against all his brethren he did settle.
Вселися же от Евилата даже до Сура, иже есть в лице Египту, даже доити ко Ассириом: пред лицем всех братий своих вселися.
19 And these are the generations of Isaac, Abraham's son: Abraham begot Isaac.
И сия бытия Исаака сына Авраамля: Авраам роди Исаака.
20 And Isaac was forty years old when he took Rebekah, the daughter of Bethuel the Aramean, of Paddan-aram, the sister of Laban the Aramean, to be his wife.
Бяше же Исаак лет четыредесяти, егда поя Ревекку дщерь Вафуила Сирина от Месопотамии Сирския, сестру Лавана Сирина, себе в жену.
21 And Isaac entreated the LORD for his wife, because she was barren; and the LORD let Himself be entreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived.
Моляшеся же Исаак Господеви о Ревекце жене своей, яко неплоды бяше: послуша же его Бог, и зачат во утробе Ревекка жена его.
22 And the children struggled together within her; and she said: 'If it be so, wherefore do I live?' And she went to inquire of the LORD.
Играста же младенца в ней, и рече: аще тако ми хощет быти, почто ми сие? И иде вопрошати Господа.
23 And the LORD said unto her: Two nations are in thy womb, and two peoples shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger.
И рече ей Господь: два языка во утробе твоей суть, и двои людие от утробы твоея разлучатся: и людие людий превзыдут, и болший поработает меншему.
24 And when her days to be delivered were fulfilled, behold, there were twins in her womb.
И исполнишася дние родити ей, и бяху сей близнята во утробе ея:
25 And the first came forth ruddy, all over like a hairy mantle; and they called his name Esau.
изыде же сын первенец чермен, весь, яко кожа, космат: и нарече имя ему Исав:
26 And after that came forth his brother, and his hand had hold on Esau's heel; and his name was called Jacob. And Isaac was threescore years old when she bore them.
и посем изыде брат его, рука же его придержася пяте Исавове: и нарече имя ему Иаков. Исааку же бе шестьдесят лет, егда роди их Ревекка.
27 And the boys grew; and Esau was a cunning hunter, a man of the field; and Jacob was a quiet man, dwelling in tents.
Возрастоша же юноши: и бысть Исав человек ведый ловити, селный: Иаков же бысть человек нелукав, живый в дому.
28 Now Isaac loved Esau, because he did eat of his venison; and Rebekah loved Jacob.
И возлюби Исаак Исава, яко ловитва его бяше брашно ему: Ревекка же любляше Иакова.
29 And Jacob sod pottage; and Esau came in from the field, and he was faint.
Свари же Иаков варение: и прииде Исав с поля изнемог,
30 And Esau said to Jacob: 'Let me swallow, I pray thee, some of this red, red pottage; for I am faint.' Therefore was his name called Edom.
и рече Исав Иакову: напитай мя варением сочива сего, яко изнемогаю. Сего ради прозвася имя ему Едом.
31 And Jacob said: 'Sell me first thy birthright.'
И рече Иаков Исаву: отдаждь ми днесь первенство свое.
32 And Esau said: 'Behold, I am at the point to die; and what profit shall the birthright do to me?'
Рече же Исав: се, аз иду умрети, и вскую ми первенство сие?
33 And Jacob said: 'Swear to me first'; and he swore unto him; and he sold his birthright unto Jacob.
И рече Иаков ему: кленися ми днесь. И кляся ему, и отдаде Исав Иакову первенство свое.
34 And Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of lentils; and he did eat and drink, and rose up, and went his way. So Esau despised his birthright.
Иаков же даде Исаву хлеб и варение сочевно: яде же и пи, и востав отиде: и нивочтоже вмени себе Исав первенство.
