Ezekiel 7
1 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying:
Und es geschah das Wort Jehovahs an mich, sprechend:
2 'And thou, son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD concerning the land of Israel: An end! the end is come upon the four corners of the land.
Und du, Menschensohn, also spricht der Herr Jehovah: Dem Boden Israels ist das Ende da! Das Ende ist gekommen über die vier Ecken des Landes.
3 Now is the end upon thee, and I will send Mine anger upon thee, and will judge thee according to thy ways; and I will bring upon thee all thine abominations.
Nun ist das Ende über dich, und Meinen Zorn entsende Ich wider dich, daß Ich nach deinen Wegen dich richte und alle deine Greuel auf dich lege.
4 And Mine eye shall not spare thee, neither will I have pity; but I will bring thy ways upon thee, and thine abominations shall be in the midst of thee; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
Und Mein Auge soll deiner nicht schonen, und Ich werde dich nicht bemitleiden. Denn deine Wege bringe Ich über dich, und deine Greuel sollen in deiner Mitte sein, daß ihr wisset, daß Ich Jehovah bin.
5 Thus saith the Lord GOD: An evil, a singular evil, behold, it cometh.
So spricht der Herr Jehovah: Ein Übel, ein Übel, - siehe - es kommt.
6 An end is come, the end is come, it awaketh against thee; behold, it cometh.
Ein Ende kommt, es kommt das Ende, es erwacht über dich, siehe, es kommt.
7 The turn is come unto thee, O inhabitant of the land; the time is come, the day of tumult is near, and not of joyful shouting upon the mountains.
Es kommt der Morgen über dich, der du im Lande wohnst. Es kommt die Zeit, nahe ist der Tag des Getümmels, und ist kein Kelterlied auf den Bergen.
8 Now will I shortly pour out My fury upon thee, and spend Mine anger upon thee, and will judge thee according to thy ways; and I will bring upon thee all thine abominations.
Jetzt aus der Nähe schütte Ich Meinen Grimm aus über dich und vollende Meinen Zorn an dir, daß Ich dich nach deinen Wegen richte, und über dich all deine Greuel gebe.
9 And Mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity; I will bring upon thee according to thy ways, and thine abominations shall be in the midst of thee; and ye shall know that I the LORD do smite.
Und Mein Auge wird dich nicht schonen, auch werde Ich dich nicht bemitleiden. Nach deinen Wegen gebe Ich es über dich, und deine Greuel sollen in deiner Mitte sein, daß ihr wisset, daß Ich Jehovah es bin, Der schlägt.
10 Behold the day; behold, it cometh; the turn is come forth; the rod hath blossomed, arrogancy hath budded.
Siehe, der Tag! Siehe, er kommt! Hervor geht der Morgen. Es blüht der Stab, es sproßt die Vermessenheit.
11 Violence is risen up into a rod of wickedness; nought cometh from them, nor from their tumult, nor from their turmoil, neither is there eminency among them.
Die Gewalt macht sich auf für der Ungerechtigkeit Stab. Nichts ist von ihnen und von ihrer Menge und von ihrem Brausen da, und kein Trauerlied über sie.
12 The time is come, the day draweth near; let not the buyer rejoice, nor the seller mourn; for wrath is upon all the multitude thereof.
Es kommt die Zeit, der Tag reicht heran. Der Käufer soll nicht fröhlich sein, noch trauern der Verkäufer; denn Entbrennung ist über all ihrer Menge.
13 For the seller shall not return to that which is sold, although they be yet alive; for the vision is touching the whole multitude thereof, which shall not return; neither shall any stand possessed of the iniquity of his life.
Denn der Verkäufer kehrt nicht zum Verkauften zurück, obschon sein Leben unter den Lebendigen ist; denn das Gesicht über all seine Menge geht nicht zurück, und eines jeden Mannes Leben ist in seiner Missetat; sie stärken sich nicht.
14 They have blown the horn, and have made all ready, but none goeth to the battle; for My wrath is upon all the multitude thereof.
Sie stoßen in das Lärmhorn, und alles macht bereit; aber keiner geht in den Streit; denn Mein Entbrennen ist wider all seine Menge.
15 The sword is without, and the pestilence and the famine within; he that is in the field shall die with the sword, and he that is in the city, famine and pestilence shall devour him.
Das Schwert ist draußen, und Pest und Hunger innen. Wer auf dem Felde ist, der stirbt durch das Schwert, und den, so in der Stadt ist, frißt der Hunger und die Pest.
16 But they that shall at all escape of them, shall be on the mountains like doves of the valleys, all of them moaning, every one in his iniquity.
Und ihre Entkommenen entkommen und sind auf den Bergen wie die Tauben der Talschluchten; sie alle girren, jeder Mann über seine Missetat.
17 All hands shall be slack, and all knees shall drip with water.
Schlaff werden alle Hände und aller Knie gehen zu Wasser.
18 They shall also gird themselves with sackcloth, and horror shall cover them; and shame shall be upon all faces, and baldness upon all their heads.
Und mit Säcken gürten sie sich, und sie bedecket Grausen, und Scham ist auf aller Angesicht, und auf all ihren Häuptern Kahlheit.
19 They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be as an unclean thing; their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the LORD; they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels; because it hath been the stumblingblock of their iniquity.
Ihr Silber werfen sie auf die Gassen, und zur Befleckung wird ihr Gold. Ihr Silber und ihr Gold vermögen nicht, sie zu erretten am Tag des Wütens Jehovahs. Sie sättigen nicht ihre Seele und füllen nicht ihre Eingeweide; denn zum Straucheln ward ihre Missetat.
20 And as for the beauty of their ornament, which was set for a pride, they made the images of their abominations and their detestable things thereof; therefore have I made it unto them as an unclean thing.
Und die Zierde ihres Geschmeides setzten sie zum Stolz, und machten daraus die Bilder ihrer Greuel, ihrer Scheusale; darum habe Ich es ihnen zur Befleckung gemacht.
21 And I will give it into the hands of the strangers for a prey, and to the wicked of the earth for a spoil; and they shall profane it.
Und in die Hand der Fremden gebe Ich es zum Raub, und zur Beute den Ungerechten der Erde, daß sie es entweihen.
22 I will also turn My face from them, and they shall profane My secret place; and robbers shall enter into it, and profane it.
Und Ich habe Mein Angesicht von ihnen herumgewandt, und Mein Verborgenes entweihen sie, und Räuber kommen hinein und entweihen es.
23 Make the chain; for the land is full of bloody crimes, and the city is full of violence.
Mache eine Kette; denn das Land ist voll vom Gericht des Blutes, und die Stadt ist voll von Gewalttat.
24 Wherefore I will bring the worst of the nations, and they shall possess their houses; I will also make the pride of the strong to cease; and their holy places shall be profaned.
Und Ich lasse die Bösen der Völkerschaften kommen, daß sie derselben Häuser in Besitz nehmen, und lasse zu Ende kommen den Stolz der Starken, und ihre Heiligtümer sollen entweiht werden.
25 Horror cometh; and they shall seek peace, and there shall be none.
Es kommt der Untergang; und sie suchen Frieden, und es wird keiner sein.
26 Calamity shall come upon calamity, and rumour shall be upon rumour; and they shall seek a vision of the prophet, and instruction shall perish from the priest, and counsel from the elders.
Unheil kommt auf Unheil; Gerücht auf Gerücht ist da. Und sie suchen Gesichte von den Propheten; aber das Gesetz ging dem Priester und Rat von den Ältesten verloren.
27 The king shall mourn, and the prince shall be clothed with appalment, and the hands of the people of the land shall be enfeebled; I will do unto them after their way, and according to their deserts will I judge them; and they shall know that I am the LORD.'
In Trauer ist der König, und der Fürst zieht an Erstaunen; und bestürzt sind die Hände des Volkes des Landes. Nach ihrem Wege tue Ich ihnen, und nach ihren Gerichten richte Ich sie, daß sie wissen, daß Ich Jehovah bin.
