Ezekiel 5
1 And thou, son of man, take thee a sharp sword, as a barber's razor shalt thou take it unto thee, and cause it to pass upon thy head and upon thy beard; then take thee balances to weigh, and divide the hair.
൧മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നീ മൂർച്ചയുള്ള ഒരു വാൾ എടുത്ത് ക്ഷൗരക്കത്തിയായി ഉപയോഗിച്ച് നിന്റെ തലയും താടിയും ക്ഷൗരം ചെയ്യുക; പിന്നെ തുലാസ്സ് എടുത്ത് ആ രോമം തൂക്കി വിഭജിക്കുക.
2 A third part shalt thou burn in the fire in the midst of the city, when the days of the siege are fulfilled; and thou shalt take a third part, and smite it with the sword round about her; and a third part thou shalt scatter to the wind, and I will draw out a sword after them.
൨ഉപരോധകാലം തികയുമ്പോൾ മൂന്നിൽ ഒന്ന് നീ നഗരത്തിന്റെ നടുവിൽ തീയിൽ ഇട്ടു ചുട്ടുകളയണം; മൂന്നിൽ ഒന്ന് എടുത്ത് അതിന്റെ ചുറ്റും വാൾകൊണ്ട് അടിക്കണം; മൂന്നിൽ ഒന്ന് കാറ്റത്ത് ചിതറിച്ചുകളയണം; അവയുടെ പിന്നാലെ ഞാൻ വാളൂരും.
3 Thou shalt also take thereof a few by number, and bind them in thy skirts.
൩അതിൽനിന്ന് അല്പം നീ എടുത്ത് നിന്റെ വസ്ത്രത്തിന്റെ അഗ്രത്തു കെട്ടണം.
4 And of them again shalt thou take, and cast them into the midst of the fire, and burn them in the fire; therefrom shall a fire come forth into all the house of Israel.
൪ഇതിൽനിന്ന് പിന്നെയും നീ അല്പം എടുത്ത് തീയിൽ ഇട്ടു ചുട്ടുകളയണം; അതിൽനിന്ന് യിസ്രായേൽ ഗൃഹത്തിലേക്കെല്ലാം ഒരു തീ പുറപ്പെടും.
5 Thus saith the Lord GOD: This is Jerusalem! I have set her in the midst of the nations, and countries are round about her.
൫യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: “ഇത് യെരൂശലേം ആകുന്നു; ഞാൻ അതിനെ ജനതകളുടെ മദ്ധ്യത്തിൽ വച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; അതിന് ചുറ്റും രാജ്യങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ട്
6 And she hath rebelled against Mine ordinances in doing wickedness more than the nations, and against My statutes more than the countries that are round about her; for they have rejected Mine ordinances, and as for My statutes, they have not walked in them.
൬അത് ദുഷ്പ്രവൃത്തിയിൽ മറ്റു ജനതകളെക്കാൾ എന്റെ ന്യായങ്ങളോടും, ചുറ്റുമുള്ള രാജ്യങ്ങളെക്കാൾ അധികം എന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളോടും മത്സരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ ന്യായങ്ങളെ അവർ തള്ളിക്കളഞ്ഞു; എന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളെ അവർ അനുസരിച്ചുനടന്നിട്ടുമില്ല”.
7 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD: Because ye have outdone the nations that are round about you, in that ye have not walked in My statutes, neither have kept Mine ordinances, neither have done after the ordinances of the nations that are round about you;
൭അതുകൊണ്ട് യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: “നിങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളുടെ ചുറ്റുമുള്ള ജനതകളെക്കാൾ അധികം മത്സരിച്ച്, എന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളെ അനുസരിച്ചുനടക്കാതെയും എന്റെ ന്യായങ്ങളെ പ്രമാണിക്കാതെയും ചുറ്റുമുള്ള ജനതകളുടെ ന്യായങ്ങളെപ്പോലും ആചരിക്കാതെയും ഇരിക്കുകകൊണ്ട്,
8 therefore thus saith the Lord GOD: Behold, I, even I, am against thee, and I will execute judgments in the midst of thee in the sight of the nations.
൮യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ‘ഇതാ, ഞാൻ, ഞാൻ തന്നെ നിനക്ക് വിരോധമായിരിക്കുന്നു; ജനതകൾ കാണത്തക്കവിധം ഞാൻ നിന്റെ നടുവിൽ ന്യായവിധികൾ നടത്തും.
9 And I will do in thee that which I have not done, and whereunto I will not do any more the like, because of all thine abominations.
൯നിന്റെ സകല മ്ളേച്ഛതകളും നിമിത്തം, ഞാൻ ഇതുവരെ ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ലാത്തതും, മേലാൽ ചെയ്യാത്തതുമായ കാര്യം നിന്റെ മദ്ധ്യത്തിൽ ചെയ്യും.
10 Therefore the fathers shall eat the sons in the midst of thee, and the sons shall eat their fathers; and I will execute judgments in thee, and the whole remnant of thee will I scatter unto all the winds.
൧൦ആകയാൽ നിന്റെ മദ്ധ്യത്തിൽ അപ്പന്മാർ മക്കളെ തിന്നും; മക്കൾ അപ്പന്മാരെയും തിന്നും; ഞാൻ നിന്നിൽ ന്യായവിധി നടത്തും; നിന്നിലുള്ള ശേഷിപ്പിനെ മുഴുവനും ഞാൻ എല്ലാ കാറ്റുകളിലേക്കും ചിതറിച്ചുകളയും”.
11 Wherefore, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely, because thou hast defiled My sanctuary with all thy detestable things, and with all thine abominations, therefore will I also diminish thee; neither shall Mine eye spare, and I also will have no pity.
൧൧അതുകൊണ്ട് യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നത്: “നിന്റെ എല്ലാ ഹീനപ്രവൃത്തികളാലും സകലമ്ലേച്ഛതകളാലും എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തെ നീ അശുദ്ധമാക്കിയതുകൊണ്ട്, എന്നാണ, ഞാനും നിന്നെ ആദരിക്കാതെ എന്റെ കടാക്ഷം നിന്നിൽനിന്ന് മാറ്റിക്കളയും; ഞാൻ കരുണ കാണിക്കുകയുമില്ല.
12 A third part of thee shall die with the pestilence, and with famine shall they be consumed in the midst of thee; and a third part shall fall by the sword round about thee; and a third part I will scatter unto all the winds, and will draw out a sword after them.
൧൨നിന്നിൽ മൂന്നിൽ ഒന്ന് മഹാമാരികൊണ്ടു മരിക്കും; ക്ഷാമംകൊണ്ടും അവർ നിന്റെ നടുവിൽ മുടിഞ്ഞുപോകും; മൂന്നിൽ ഒന്നിനെ നിന്റെ ചുറ്റും വാൾകൊണ്ട് വീഴും; മൂന്നിൽ ഒന്ന് ഞാൻ എല്ലാ കാറ്റുകളിലേക്കും ചിതറിച്ചുകളയുകയും അവരുടെ പിന്നാലെ വാളൂരുകയും ചെയ്യും.
13 Thus shall Mine anger spend itself, and I will satisfy My fury upon them, and I will be eased; and they shall know that I the LORD have spoken in My zeal, when I have spent My fury upon them.
൧൩അങ്ങനെ എന്റെ കോപത്തിനു നിവൃത്തിവരും; ഞാൻ അവരോട് എന്റെ ക്രോധം തീർത്ത് തൃപ്തനാകും; എന്റെ ക്രോധം അവരിൽ നിവർത്തിക്കുമ്പോൾ യഹോവയായ ഞാൻ എന്റെ തീക്ഷ്ണതയിൽ അത് അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു എന്ന് അവർ അറിയും.
14 Moreover I will make thee an amazement and a reproach, among the nations that are round about thee, in the sight of all that pass by.
൧൪വഴിപോകുന്ന എല്ലാവരും കാണത്തക്കവിധം ഞാൻ നിന്നെ നിന്റെ ചുറ്റുമുള്ള ജനതകളുടെ ഇടയിൽ ശൂന്യവും നിന്ദ്യവുമാക്കും.
15 So it shall be a reproach and a taunt, an instruction and an astonishment, unto the nations that are round about thee, when I shall execute judgments in thee in anger and in fury, and in furious rebukes; I the LORD have spoken it;
൧൫ഞാൻ കോപത്തോടും ക്രോധത്തോടും കഠിനശിക്ഷകളോടും കൂടി നിന്നിൽ ന്യായവിധി നടത്തുമ്പോൾ നീ നിന്റെ ചുറ്റുമുള്ള ജനതകൾക്കു നിന്ദയും ആക്ഷേപവും ബുദ്ധിയുപദേശവും സ്തംഭനഹേതുവും ആയിരിക്കും;” യഹോവയായ ഞാൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.
16 when I shall send upon them the evil arrows of famine, that are for destruction, which I will send to destroy you; and I will increase the famine upon you, and will break your staff of bread;
൧൬“നിങ്ങളെ നശിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന് ക്ഷാമം എന്ന നാശകരമായ ദുരസ്ത്രങ്ങൾ ഞാൻ എയ്യുമ്പോൾ, നിങ്ങൾക്ക് ക്ഷാമം വർദ്ധിപ്പിച്ച് നിങ്ങളുടെ അപ്പം എന്ന കോൽ ഒടിച്ചുകളയും.
17 and I will send upon you famine and evil beasts, and they shall bereave thee; and pestilence and blood shall pass through thee; and I will bring the sword upon thee. I the LORD have spoken it.'
൧൭നിന്നെ മക്കളില്ലാതെയാക്കേണ്ടതിന് ഞാൻ ക്ഷാമത്തെയും ദുഷ്ടമൃഗങ്ങളെയും നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയിൽ അയയ്ക്കും; മഹാമാരിയും കൊലയും നിന്നിൽ കടക്കും; ഞാൻ വാളും നിന്റെനേരെ വരുത്തും;” യഹോവയായ ഞാൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.
