Ezekiel 27
1 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying:
Weiter erging das Wort des HERRN an mich folgendermaßen:
2 'And thou, son of man, take up a lamentation for Tyre,
»Du, Menschensohn, stimme ein Klagelied über Tyrus an
3 and say unto Tyre, that dwelleth at the entry of the sea, that is the merchant of the peoples unto many isles: Thus saith the Lord GOD: Thou, O Tyre, hast said: I am of perfect beauty.
und sprich zu Tyrus: ›(O Stadt), die du wohnst am Zugang zum Meer und Handel mit den Völkern treibst nach den vielen Meeresländern hin: so hat Gott der HERR gesprochen: Tyrus, du hast gedacht: Ich bin ein Schiff, vollkommen an Schönheit!
4 Thy borders are in the heart of the seas, thy builders have perfected thy beauty.
Dein Gebiet liegt im Herzen der Meere; deine Erbauer haben dich zu (einem Schiff von) vollendeter Schönheit gemacht.
5 Of cypress-trees from Senir have they fashioned all thy planks; they have taken cedars from Lebanon to make masts for thee.
Aus Zypressen vom Senir haben sie dir alles Plankenwerk gebaut und eine Zeder vom Libanon genommen, um den Mastbaum auf dir daraus zu fertigen.
6 Of the oaks of Bashan have they made thine oars; thy deck have they made of ivory inlaid in larch, from the isles of the Kittites.
Aus Eichen von Basan haben sie deine Ruder hergestellt, dein Verdeck aus Edeltannenholz [mit Elfenbein ausgelegt] von den Eilanden der Kitthäer.
7 Of fine linen with richly woven work from Egypt was thy sail, that it might be to thee for an ensign; blue and purple from the isles of Elishah was thine awning.
Feine Leinwand mit Buntstickerei aus Ägypten war dein Segel, um dir als Flagge zu dienen; blauer und roter Purpur von den Gestaden Elisas war deine Überdachung.
8 The inhabitants of Sidon and Arvad were thy rowers; thy wise men, O Tyre, were in thee, they were thy pilots.
Die Einwohner von Sidon und Arwad dienten dir als Ruderer; die erfahrensten Männer aus deiner eigenen Mitte waren deine Steuerleute;
9 The elders of Gebal and the wise men thereof were in thee thy calkers; all the ships of the sea with their mariners were in thee to exchange thy merchandise.
die Ältesten von Gebal und die dortigen Meister waren in dir als Ausbesserer deiner Lecke. Alle Seeschiffe samt ihrer Bemannung fanden sich bei dir ein, um Tauschhandel mit dir zu treiben.
10 Persia and Lud and Put were in thine army, thy men of war; they hanged the shield and helmet in thee, they set forth thy comeliness.
Perser und Put und Lud dienten dir in deinem Heer als deine Kriegsleute; Schild und Helm hängten sie bei dir auf, die verliehen dir Glanz.
11 The men of Arvad and Helech were upon thy walls round about, and the Gammadim were in thy towers; they hanged their shields upon thy walls round about; they have perfected thy beauty.
Männer aus Arwad und deine eigene Heeresmacht standen auf deinen Mauern ringsum und Gammadäer auf deinen Türmen; ihre Schilde hängten sie ringsum an deinen Mauern auf; sie machten deine Schönheit vollkommen.
12 Tarshish was thy merchant by reason of the multitude of all kinds of riches; with silver, iron, tin, and lead, they traded for thy wares.
Tharsis trieb Handel mit dir wegen der Fülle an allerlei Gütern: mit Silber, Eisen, Zinn und Blei bezahlten sie deine Waren.
13 Javan, Tubal, and Meshech, they were thy traffickers; they traded the persons of men and vessels of brass for thy merchandise.
Die Jonier, Tibarener und Moscher machten Handelsgeschäfte mit dir: Sklaven und eherne Geräte gaben sie dir als Zahlung beim Tauschhandel.
14 They of the house of Togarmah traded for thy wares with horses and horsemen and mules.
Die vom Hause Thogarma bezahlten deine Waren mit Rossen, Reitpferden und Mauleseln.
15 The men of Dedan were thy traffickers; many isles were the mart of thy hand; they brought thee as tribute horns of ivory and ebony.
Die Rhodier waren deine Kaufleute; zahlreiche Meeresländer standen im Verkehr mit dir: Elefantenzähne und Ebenholz lieferten sie dir als Zahlung.
16 Aram was thy merchant by reason of the multitude of thy wealth; they traded for thy wares with carbuncles, purple, and richly woven work, and fine linen, and coral, and rubies.
Die Syrer schlossen Geschäfte mit dir ab wegen der Menge deiner Erzeugnisse: mit Karfunkel, rotem Purpur und bunten Geweben, mit feiner Leinwand, Korallen und Rubinen bezahlten sie deine Waren.
17 Judah, and the land of Israel, they were thy traffickers; they traded for thy merchandise wheat of Minnith, and balsam, and honey, and oil, and balm.
Juda und das Land Israel waren deine Kaufleute: Weizen von Minnith und Wachs, Honig, Öl und Balsam gaben sie dir als Zahlung beim Tauschhandel.
18 Damascus was thy merchant for the multitude of thy wealth, by reason of the multitude of all riches, with the wine of Helbon, and white wool.
Damaskus trieb Handel mit dir ob der Menge deiner Erzeugnisse, wegen der Fülle an allerlei Gütern, mit Wein von Helbon und Wolle von Zahar.
19 Vedan and Javan traded with yarn for thy wares; massive iron, cassia, and calamus, were among thy merchandise.
Wedan und Jawan brachten aus Usal kunstvoll geschmiedetes Eisen auf deinen Markt; Kassia und Kalmus hatten sie für dich als Tauschwaren.
20 Dedan was thy trafficker in precious cloths for riding.
Dedan trieb Handel mit dir in Satteldecken zum Reiten.
21 Arabia, and all the princes of Kedar, they were the merchants of thy hand; in lambs, and rams, and goats, in these were they thy merchants.
Arabien und alle Häuptlinge Kedars standen in Verkehr mit dir: mit Lämmern, Widdern und Böcken trieben sie Handel mit dir.
22 The traffickers of Sheba and Raamah, they were thy traffickers; they traded for thy wares with chief of all spices, and with all precious stones, and gold.
Die Kaufleute von Saba und Ragma handelten mit dir: mit den köstlichsten Gewürzen, mit allerlei Edelsteinen und mit Gold bezahlten sie deine Waren.
23 Haran and Canneh and Eden, the traffickers of Sheba, Asshur was as thine apprentice in traffic.
Haran, Kanne und Eden handelten mit dir; Assur und ganz Medien waren deine Kunden;
24 These were thy traffickers in gorgeous fabrics, in wrappings of blue and richly woven work, and in chests of rich apparel, bound with cords and cedar-lined, among thy merchandise.
sie handelten mit dir in Prachtgewändern, in Mänteln von blauem Purpur und buntgewirkten Stoffen, in farbenreichen Teppichen, in geflochtenen und fest gedrehten Tauen, gegen deine Waren.
25 The ships of Tarshish brought thee tribute for thy merchandise; so wast thou replenished, and made very heavy in the heart of the seas.
Die Schiffe von Tharsis vertrieben deine Güter im Tauschhandel, und so wurdest du mit Reichtum angefüllt und kamst zu hoher Macht inmitten der Meere.‹«
26 Thy rowers have brought thee into great waters; the east wind hath broken thee in the heart of the seas.
»›Deine Ruderer haben dich auf die hohe See hinausgeführt, doch der Ostwind bringt dich zum Scheitern inmitten des Meeres.
27 Thy riches, and thy wares, thy merchandise, thy mariners, and thy pilots, thy calkers, and the exchangers of thy merchandise, and all thy men of war, that are in thee, with all thy company which is in the midst of thee, shall fall into the heart of the seas in the day of thy ruin.
Deine Reichtümer und Waren, deine Handelsgüter, deine Matrosen und Steuerleute, deine Leckausbesserer, deine Tauschhändler und alle deine Kriegsleute, die sich auf dir befinden, mitsamt der ganzen Volksmenge auf dir werden in die Tiefe des Meeres sinken am Tage deines Untergangs.
28 At the sound of the cry of thy pilots the waves shall shake.
Vom lauten Geschrei deiner Steuerleute wird die weite Meeresfläche erbeben.
29 And all that handle the oar, the mariners, and all the pilots of the sea, shall come down from their ships, they shall stand upon the land,
Da werden dann alle, die das Ruder führen, die Seeleute und alle, die das Meer durchsteuern, aus ihren Schiffen steigen, werden ans Land treten
30 And shall cause their voice to be heard over thee, and shall cry bitterly, and shall cast up dust upon their heads, they shall roll themselves in the ashes;
und lauten Wehruf über dich erschallen lassen und kläglich schreien; sie werden sich Staub aufs Haupt streuen und sich in der Asche wälzen;
31 And they shall make themselves utterly bald for thee, and gird them with sackcloth, and they shall weep for thee in bitterness of soul with bitter lamentation.
sie werden sich um deinetwillen kahl scheren, mit Sackleinen sich umgürten und mit bekümmertem Herzen um dich weinen in bitterer Klage.
32 And in their wailing they shall take up a lamentation for thee, and lament over thee: who was there like Tyre, fortified in the midst of the sea?
In ihrem Schmerz werden sie ein Klagelied über dich anstimmen und über dich wehklagen: Welcher Ort ist so totenstill wie Tyrus inmitten des Meeres!
33 When thy wares came forth out of the seas, thou didst fill many peoples; with the multitude of thy riches and of thy merchandise didst thou enrich the kings of the earth.
Solange deine Waren dem Meer entstiegen, hast du die Bedürfnisse vieler Völker befriedigt und durch die Fülle deiner Güter und Waren die Könige der Erde reich gemacht.
34 Now that thou art broken by the seas in the depths of the waters, and thy merchandise and all thy company are fallen in the midst of thee,
Jetzt aber, da du zertrümmert, vom Meere verschwunden, in Wassertiefen begraben bist und dein Handel und deine ganze Volksmenge mitten in dir versunken ist,
35 All the inhabitants of the isles are appalled at thee, and their kings are horribly afraid, they are troubled in their countenance;
entsetzen sich alle Bewohner der Meeresländer über dich, ihre Könige sind von Schauder erfaßt, ihre Angesichter zucken schmerzlich.
36 The merchants among the peoples hiss at thee; thou art become a terror, and never shalt be any more.'
Die Kaufleute in der ganzen Welt zischen über dich: ein Ende mit Schrecken hast du genommen; du bist dahin für immer!‹«
