Ecclesiastes 5
1 Guard thy foot when thou goest to the house of God, and be ready to hearken: it is better than when fools give sacrifices; for they know not that they do evil.
Пэзеште-ць пичорул кынд интри ын Каса луй Думнезеу ши апропие-те май бине сэ аскулць, декыт сэ адучь жертфа небунилор, кэч ей ну штиу кэ фак рэу ку ачаста.
2 Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thy heart be hasty to utter a word before God; for God is in heaven, and thou upon earth; therefore let thy words be few.
Ну те грэби сэ дескизь гура ши сэ ну-ць ростяскэ инима кувинте припите ынаинтя луй Думнезеу, кэч Думнезеу есте ын чер, ши ту, пе пэмынт; де ачея сэ ну спуй ворбе мулте.
3 For a dream cometh through a multitude of business; and a fool's voice through a multitude of words.
Кэч, дакэ виселе се наск дин мулцимя грижилор, простия небунулуй се куноаште дин мулцимя кувинтелор.
4 When thou vowest a vow unto God, defer not to pay it; for He hath no pleasure in fools; pay that which thou vowest.
Дакэ ай фэкут о журуинцэ луй Думнезеу, ну зэбови с-о ымплинешть, кэч Луй ну-Й плак чей фэрэ минте; де ачея ымплинеште журуинца пе каре ай фэкут-о.
5 Better is it that thou shouldest not vow, than that thou shouldest vow and not pay.
Май бине сэ ну фачь ничо журуинцэ декыт сэ фачь о журуинцэ ши сэ н-о ымплинешть.
6 Suffer not thy mouth to bring thy flesh into guilt, neither say thou before the messenger, that it was an error; wherefore should God be angry at thy voice, and destroy the work of thy hands?
Ну лэса гура сэ те баӂе ын пэкат ши ну зиче ынаинтя тримисулуй луй Думнезеу: „М-ам припит.” Пентру че сэ Се мыние Думнезеу дин причина кувинтелор тале ши сэ нимичяскэ лукраря мынилор тале?
7 For through the multitude of dreams and vanities there are also many words; but fear thou God.
Кэч, дакэ есте дешертэчуне ын мулцимя висурилор, ну май пуцин есте ши ын мулцимя ворбелор; де ачея, теме-те де Думнезеу!
8 If thou seest the oppression of the poor, and the violent perverting of justice and righteousness in the state, marvel not at the matter; for one higher than the high watcheth, and there are higher than they.
Кынд везь ын царэ пе чел сэрак нэпэстуит ши жефуит ын нумеле дрептулуй ши дрептэций, сэ ну те мирь де лукрул ачеста. Кэч песте чел маре вегязэ алтул май маре ши песте ей тоць, Чел Пряыналт.
9 But the profit of a land every way is a king that maketh himself servant to the field.
Дар ун фолос пентру царэ, ын тоате привинцеле, есте ун ымпэрат прецуит ын царэ.
10 He that loveth silver shall not be satisfied with silver; nor he that loveth abundance, with increase; this also is vanity.
Чине юбеште арӂинтул ну се сатурэ ничодатэ де арӂинт ши чине юбеште богэция мултэ ну траӂе фолос дин еа. Ши ачаста есте о дешертэчуне!
11 When goods increase, they are increased that eat them; and what advantage is there to the owner thereof, saving the beholding of them with his eyes?
Кынд се ынмулцеск бунэтэциле, се ынмулцеск ши чей че ле папэ. Ши че фолос май аре дин еле стэпынул лор декыт кэ ле веде ку окий?
12 Sweet is the sleep of a labouring man, whether he eat little or much; but the satiety of the rich will not suffer him to sleep.
Дулче есте сомнул лукрэторулуй, фие кэ а мынкат мулт, фие кэ а мынкат пуцин; дар пе чел богат ну-л ласэ ымбуйбаря сэ доармэ.
13 There is a grievous evil which I have seen under the sun, namely, riches kept by the owner thereof to his hurt;
Есте ун маре рэу пе каре л-ам вэзут суб соаре: авуций пэстрате спре неферичиря стэпынулуй лор.
14 and those riches perish by evil adventure; and if he hath begotten a son, there is nothing in his hand.
Дакэ се перд ачесте богэций прин врео ынтымпларе ненорочитэ, ши ел аре ун фиу, фиулуй ну-й рэмыне нимик ын мынь.
15 As he came forth of his mother's womb, naked shall he go back as he came, and shall take nothing for his labour, which he may carry away in his hand.
Кум а ешит де гол дин пынтечеле мамей сале, дин каре а венит, аша се ынтоарче ши ну поате сэ я нимик ын мынэ дин тоатэ остеняла луй.
16 And this also is a grievous evil, that in all points as he came, so shall he go; and what profit hath he that he laboureth for the wind?
Ши ачеста есте ун маре рэу, ануме кэ се дуче кум венисе. Ши че фолос аре ел кэ с-а трудит ын вынт?
17 All his days also he eateth in darkness, and he hath much vexation and sickness and wrath.
Ба ынкэ тоатэ вяца луй а май требуит сэ мэнынче ку неказ ши а авут мултэ дурере, грижэ ши супэраре.
18 Behold that which I have seen: it is good, yea, it is comely for one to eat and to drink, and to enjoy pleasure for all his labour, wherein he laboureth under the sun, all the days of his life which God hath given him; for this is his portion.
Ятэ че ам вэзут: есте бине ши фрумос ка омул сэ мэнынче ши сэ бя ши сэ трэяскэ бине ын мижлокул мунчий луй, ку каре се трудеште суб соаре, ын тоате зилеле веций луй, пе каре и ле-а дат Думнезеу; кэч ачаста есте партя луй.
19 Every man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and hath given him power to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labour — this is the gift of God.
Дар дакэ а дат Думнезеу куйва авере ши богэций ши й-а ынгэдуит сэ мэнынче дин еле, сэ-шь я партя луй дин еле ши сэ се букуре ын мижлокул мунчий луй: ачеста есте ун дар де ла Думнезеу.
20 For let him remember the days of his life that they are not many; for God answereth him in the joy of his heart.
Кэч ну се май гындеште мулт ла скуртимя зилелор веций луй, де време че Думнезеу ый умпле инима де букурие.
