2 Chronicles 7
1 Now when Solomon had made an end of praying, the fire came down from heaven, and consumed the burnt-offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the LORD filled the house.
౧సొలొమోను తన ప్రార్థన ముగించగానే ఆకాశం నుండి అగ్ని దిగి దహనబలులనూ ఇతర బలులనూ దహించివేసింది. యెహోవా తేజస్సు మందిరాన్ని పూర్తిగా నింపింది.
2 And the priests could not enter into the house of the LORD, because the glory of the LORD filled the LORD'S house.
౨యెహోవా తేజస్సుతో మందిరం నిండిపోవడం వలన యాజకులు అందులో ప్రవేశించలేక పోయారు.
3 And all the children of Israel looked on, when the fire came down, and the glory of the LORD was upon the house; and they bowed themselves with their faces to the ground upon the pavement, and prostrated themselves, and gave thanks unto the LORD; 'for He is good, for His mercy endureth for ever.'
౩అగ్నీ యెహోవా తేజస్సూ మందిరం పైకి దిగటం చూసి ఇశ్రాయేలీయులంతా సాష్టాంగ నమస్కారం చేసి “యెహోవా దయ గలవాడు. ఆయన కృప నిత్యమూ నిలుస్తుంది” అంటూ ఆయనను ఆరాధించి స్తుతించారు.
4 And the king and all the people offered sacrifice before the LORD.
౪రాజూ, ప్రజలూ కలిసి యెహోవా ముందు బలులు అర్పించారు.
5 And king Solomon offered a sacrifice of twenty and two thousand oxen, and a hundred and twenty thousand sheep. So the king and all the people dedicated the house of God.
౫సొలొమోను రాజు 22,000 పశువులనూ 1, 20,000 గొర్రెలనూ బలులుగా అర్పించాడు. రాజు, ప్రజలు, అందరూ కలిసి దేవుని మందిరాన్ని ప్రతిష్టించారు.
6 And the priests stood, according to their offices; the Levites also with instruments of music of the LORD, which David the king had made, to give thanks unto the LORD, for His mercy endureth for ever, with the praises of David by their hand; and the priests sounded trumpets over against them; and all Israel stood.
౬యాజకులు తమ తమ సేవా స్థలాల్లో నిలిచారు. లేవీయులు “యెహోవా కృప నిత్యమూ నిలుస్తుంది” అంటూ దేవుణ్ణి స్తుతించడానికి దావీదు ఏర్పాటు చేసిన యెహోవా గీతాలు పాడుతూ, వాయిద్యాలు వాయిస్తూ ఉన్నారు. యాజకులు వారికి ఎదురుగా నిలబడి బూరలు ఊదుతూ ఉంటే, ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రజలంతా నిలబడి ఉన్నారు.
7 Moreover Solomon hallowed the middle of the court that was before the house of the LORD; for there he offered the burnt-offerings, and the fat of the peace-offerings; because the brazen altar which Solomon had made was not able to receive the burnt-offering, and the meal-offering, and the fat.
౭సొలొమోను తాను చేయించిన ఇత్తడి బలిపీఠం దహనబలులకూ నైవేద్యాలకూ కొవ్వుకూ సరిపోక పోవడం వలన యెహోవా మందిరం ముందు ఉన్న మధ్య ఆవరణాన్ని ప్రతిష్ఠించి, అక్కడ దహనబలులనూ శాంతి బలిపశువుల కొవ్వునూ అర్పించాడు.
8 So Solomon held the feast at that time seven days, and all Israel with him, a very great congregation, from the entrance of Hamath unto the Brook of Egypt.
౮సొలొమోను, అతనితో కూడా హమాతు సరిహద్దు నుండి ఐగుప్తు నది వరకూ ఉన్న దేశం నుండి గొప్ప సమూహంగా వచ్చిన ఇశ్రాయేలీయులందరూ ఏడు రోజులు పండగ ఆచరించారు.
9 And on the eighth day they held a solemn assembly; for they kept the dedication of the altar seven days, and the feast seven days.
౯ఎనిమిదో రోజు వారు పండగ ముగించారు. ఏడు రోజులూ బలిపీఠాన్ని ప్రతిష్టిస్తూ పండగ ఆచరించారు.
10 And on the three and twentieth day of the seventh month he sent the people away unto their tents, joyful and glad of heart for the goodness that the LORD had shown unto David, and to Solomon, and to Israel His people.
౧౦ఏడవ నెల ఇరవై మూడో రోజున సొలొమోను దావీదుకు, తనకు, తన ప్రజలు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు యెహోవా చేసిన మేలుల విషయంలో సంతోషిస్తూ, మనసులో ఆనందపడుతూ, ఎవరి గుడారాలకు వారిని వెళ్ళమని ప్రజలకి అనుమతినిచ్చి పంపేశాడు.
11 Thus Solomon finished the house of the LORD, and the king's house; and all that came into Solomon's heart to make in the house of the LORD, and in his own house, he prosperously effected.
౧౧ఆ విధంగా సొలొమోను యెహోవా మందిరాన్ని, రాజనగరాన్ని కట్టించి, యెహోవా మందిరంలో, తన నగరంలో చేయాలని తాను ఆలోచించిన దానంతటినీ ఏ లోపమూ లేకుండా నెరవేర్చి పని ముగించాడు.
12 And the LORD appeared to Solomon by night, and said unto him: 'I have heard thy prayer, and have chosen this place to Myself for a house of sacrifice.
౧౨అప్పుడు యెహోవా రాత్రి వేళ సొలొమోనుకు ప్రత్యక్షమై ఈ విధంగా చెప్పాడు “నేను నీ విన్నపాన్ని అంగీకరించి ఈ స్థలాన్ని నాకు బలులు అర్పించే మందిరంగా కోరుకున్నాను.
13 If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locust to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among My people;
౧౩నేను ఆకాశాన్ని మూసివేసి వాన కురవకుండా చేసినప్పుడూ, దేశాన్ని నాశనం చేయడానికి మిడతలకు సెలవిచ్చినప్పుడూ, నా ప్రజల మీదికి తెగులు రప్పించినప్పుడూ,
14 if My people, upon whom My name is called, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their evil ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
౧౪నా పేరు పెట్టుకున్న నా ప్రజలు తమని తాము తగ్గించుకుని, ప్రార్థన చేసి, నన్ను వెతికి, తమ దుష్టత్వాన్ని విడిచి నన్ను వేడుకుంటే, నేను పరలోకం నుండి వారి ప్రార్థన విని, వారి పాపాన్ని క్షమించి, వారి దేశాన్ని స్వస్థపరుస్తాను.
15 Now Mine eyes shall be open, and Mine ears attent, unto the prayer that is made in this place.
౧౫ఈ స్థలం లో చేసే ప్రార్థన మీద నా దృష్టి ఉంటుంది, నా చెవులు దాన్ని వింటాయి.
16 For now have I chosen and hallowed this house, that My name may be there for ever; and Mine eyes and My heart shall be there perpetually.
౧౬నా పేరు ఈ మందిరానికి నిత్యమూ ఉండేలా నేను దాన్ని కోరుకుని పరిశుద్ధపరిచాను. నా కనులు, నా మనస్సు నిత్యం దాని మీద ఉంటాయి.
17 And as for thee, if thou wilt walk before Me as David thy father walked, and do according to all that I have commanded thee, and wilt keep My statutes and Mine ordinances;
౧౭నీ తండ్రి దావీదు నడుచుకున్నట్టు నువ్వు కూడా నాకు అనుకూలంగా ప్రవర్తించి, నేను నీకాజ్ఞాపించిన దానంతటినీ జరిగించి, నా కట్టడలనీ నా న్యాయవిధులనీ అనుసరిస్తే,
18 then I will establish the throne of thy kingdom, according as I covenanted with David thy father, saying: There shall not fail thee a man to be ruler in Israel.
౧౮ఇశ్రాయేలీయులను పాలించడానికి నీ సంతతి వాడు ఒకడు నీకుండకుండా పోడు, అని నేను నీ తండ్రి దావీదుతో చేసిన నిబంధనను అనుసరించి నేను నీ రాజ్య సింహాసనాన్ని స్థిరపరుస్తాను.
19 But if ye turn away, and forsake My statutes and My commandments which I have set before you, and shall go and serve other gods, and worship them;
౧౯అయితే మీరు దారి తొలగి, నేను మీకు నియమించిన కట్టడలనూ ఆజ్ఞలనూ విడిచిపెట్టి, ఇతర దేవుళ్ళను అనుసరించి వాటిని పూజిస్తే,
20 then will I pluck them up by the roots out of My land which I have given them; and this house, which I have hallowed for My name, will I cast out of My sight, and I will make it a proverb and a byword among all peoples.
౨౦నేను మీకిచ్చిన నా దేశంలోనుండి మిమ్మల్ని పెళ్ళగించి, నా నామం కోసం నేను పరిశుద్ధపరచిన ఈ మందిరాన్ని నా సన్నిధి నుండి తీసేసి, సమస్త జాతుల్లో దాన్ని సామెతకు, ఎగతాళికీ కారణంగా చేస్తాను.
21 And this house, which is so high, every one that passeth by it shall be astonished, and shall say: Why hath the LORD done thus unto this land, and to this house?
౨౧అప్పుడు గొప్ప పేరు పొందిన ఈ మందిరం పక్కగా వెళ్ళేవారంతా విస్మయం చెంది, ‘యెహోవా ఈ దేశానికీ మందిరానికీ ఎందుకిలా చేశాడు?’ అని అడుగుతారు.
22 And they shall answer: Because they forsook the LORD, the God of their fathers, who brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, and laid hold on other gods, and worshipped them, and served them; therefore hath He brought all this evil upon them.'
౨౨అప్పుడు మనుషులు, ‘ఈ దేశ ప్రజలు తమ పూర్వికులను ఐగుప్తు దేశం నుండి రప్పించిన తమ దేవుడు యెహోవాను విసర్జించి ఇతర దేవుళ్ళను వెంబడించి వాటిని పూజించారు కాబట్టి యెహోవా ఈ విపత్తునంతటినీ వారిమీదకి రప్పించాడు’ అని చెబుతారు.”
