2 Chronicles 6
1 Then spoke Solomon: The LORD hath said that He would dwell in the thick darkness.
೧ತರುವಾಯ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು, ಯೆಹೋವನೇ “ಕಾರ್ಗತ್ತಲಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೀ;
2 But I have built Thee a house of habitation, and a place for Thee to dwell in for ever.
೨ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ನಿನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಒಂದು ಆಲಯವನ್ನು, ನೀನು ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾಗಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡತಕ್ಕ ಸ್ಥಳವಾಗಿರಲೆಂದು ನಾನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ” ಎಂದನು.
3 And the king turned his face, and blessed all the congregation of Israel; and all the congregation of Israel stood.
೩ಇದಾದ ಮೇಲೆ, ಅರಸನು ಎದ್ದು ನಿಂತು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಸಮೂಹದವರ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು ಅವರನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿದನು.
4 And he said: 'Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, who spoke with His mouth unto David my father, and hath with His hands fulfilled it, saying:
೪ಅವನು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ, “ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರವಾಗಲಿ; ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ದಾವೀದನಿಗೆ ವಾಗ್ದಾನ ಮಾಡಿದಂತೆ ಈಗ ತನ್ನಿಂದ ನೆರವೇರಿಸುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
5 Since the day that I brought forth My people out of the land of Egypt, I chose no city out of all the tribes of Israel to build a house in, that My name might be there; neither chose I any man to be prince over My people Israel;
೫ಆತನು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ, ‘ನನ್ನ ಜನರಾದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರನ್ನು ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಬರಮಾಡಿದ ದಿನ ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರು ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಕುಲಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನೂ, ನನ್ನ ಆಲಯ ಸ್ಥಾನವನ್ನಾಗಿ ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿಲ್ಲ; ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳಾದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಪ್ರಭುವಾಗಿರುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಯಾವ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡದ್ದೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.
6 but I have chosen Jerusalem, that My name might be there; and have chosen David to be over My people Israel.
೬ಆದರೆ ಈಗ ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮನ್ನೂ ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳಾದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರನ್ನು ಆಳುವುದಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ದಾವೀದನನ್ನೂ ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
7 Now it was in the heart of David my father to build a house for the name of the LORD, the God of Israel.
೭ಆದಕಾರಣ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಹೆಸರಿಗೆ ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಲು ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ದಾವೀದನಿಗೆ ಮನಸ್ಸಿತ್ತು.
8 But the LORD said unto David my father: Whereas it was in thy heart to build a house for My name, thou didst well that it was in thy heart;
೮ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋವನು ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ದಾವೀದನಿಗೆ, ‘ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿಗಾಗಿ ಒಂದು ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಮನಸ್ಸು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದೇ ಸರಿ.
9 nevertheless thou shalt not build the house, but thy son that shall come forth out of thy loins, he shall build the house for My name.
೯ಆದರೆ ನೀನು ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಬಾರದು; ನಿನ್ನಿಂದ ಹುಟ್ಟುವ ಮಗನೇ ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸುವನು’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
10 And the LORD hath established His word that He spoke; for I am risen up in the room of David my father, and sit on the throne of Israel, as the LORD promised, and have built the house for the name of the LORD, the God of Israel.
೧೦ಯೆಹೋವನು ತಾನು ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಮಾತನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಆತನು ವಾಗ್ದಾನ ಮಾಡಿದಂತೆ ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ದಾವೀದನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅರಸನಾಗಿ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಂಡು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಹೆಸರಿಗೆ ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
11 And there have I set the ark, wherein is the covenant of the LORD, which He made with the children of Israel.'
೧೧ಯೆಹೋವನಿಂದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಿಗೆ ದೊರಕಿದ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ನಿಬಂಧನಾಶಾಸನಗಳಿರುವ ಮಂಜೂಷವನ್ನು ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೆ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
12 And he stood before the altar of the LORD in the presence of all the congregation of Israel, and spread forth his hands —
೧೨ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯ ಎದುರು ತನ್ನ ಕೈಗಳನ್ನೆತ್ತಿ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನಾ ಭಂಗಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತನು.
13 for Solomon had made a brazen scaffold, of five cubits long, and five cubits broad, and three cubits high, and had set it in the midst of the court; and upon it he stood, and kneeled down upon his knees before all the congregation of Israel, and spread forth his hands toward heaven —
೧೩ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ಐದು ಮೊಳ ಉದ್ದವೂ, ಐದು ಮೊಳ ಅಗಲವೂ, ಮೂರು ಮೊಳ ಎತ್ತರವೂ ಆಗಿರುವ ಒಂದು ತಾಮ್ರದ ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಸಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಅಂಗಳದ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇರಿಸಿದನು, ಆತನು ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಮೊಣಕಾಲೂರಿ ನಿಂತನು. ಅವನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಕಾಶದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತನ್ನ ಕೈಗಳನ್ನೆತ್ತಿ,
14 and he said: 'O LORD, the God of Israel, there is no God like Thee, in the heaven, or in the earth; who keepest covenant and mercy with Thy servants, that walk before Thee with all their heart;
೧೪ಹೀಗೆ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿದನು, “ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ಭೂಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಪರಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನಿನಗೆ ಸಮಾನನಾದ ದೇವರು ಯಾರೂ ಇಲ್ಲ; ಪೂರ್ಣಮನಸ್ಸಿನಿಂದ ನಿನಗೆ ಪ್ರಾಮಾಣಿಕರಾಗಿ ನಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂಥ ಸೇವಕರ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿ ದಯೆಯನ್ನೂ, ಕೃಪೆಯನ್ನೂ ತೋರಿಸಬಲ್ಲ ದೇವರು ಒಬ್ಬರೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.
15 who hast kept with Thy servant David my father that which Thou didst promise him; yea, Thou spokest with Thy mouth, and hast fulfilled it with Thy hand, as it is this day.
೧೫ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನೂ, ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯೂ ಆದ ದಾವೀದನಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಮಾತನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿದ್ದೀ; ನಿನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿ ನುಡಿದದ್ದನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈ ಈಹೊತ್ತು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿದೆ.
16 Now therefore, O LORD, the God of Israel, keep with Thy servant David my father that which Thou hast promised him, saying: There shall not fail thee a man in My sight to sit on the throne of Israel; if only thy children take heed to their way, to walk in My law as thou hast walked before Me.
೧೬ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನೂ, ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯೂ ಆದ ದಾವೀದನಿಗೆ, ‘ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂತಾನದವರು ನಿನ್ನಂತೆ ಜಾಗರೂಕತೆಯಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಕಟ್ಟಳೆಯನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸಿ ನಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಾದರೆ ಅವರು ತಪ್ಪದೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವೆನು ಎಂಬುದಾಗಿ ವಾಗ್ದಾನ ಮಾಡಿರುವೆಯಲ್ಲಾ, ಅದನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸು.’
17 Now therefore, O LORD, the God of Israel, let Thy word be verified, which Thou spokest unto Thy servant David.
೧೭ಈಗ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ದಾವೀದನಿಗೆ ನುಡಿದಿದ್ದೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಸ್ಥಿರವಾಗಿರಲಿ.
18 But will God in very truth dwell with men on the earth? behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain Thee; how much less this house which I have builded!
೧೮ಆದರೆ ದೇವರು ನಿಜವಾಗಿ ಮನಷ್ಯರೊಡನೆ ಭೂಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿರುವನೋ? ಸ್ವರ್ಗವೂ, ಸ್ವರ್ಗಾಧಿ ಸ್ವರ್ಗವೂ ನಿನ್ನ ವಾಸಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾಲವು, ಹೀಗಿರುವಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದ ಈ ಆಲಯವು ನಿನಗೆ ಹೇಗೆ ಸಾಕಾದೀತು?
19 Yet have Thou respect unto the prayer of Thy servant, and to his supplication, O LORD my God, to hearken unto the cry and to the prayer which Thy servant prayeth before Thee;
೧೯ಆದರೂ ನನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಈ ಸೇವಕನ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಗೂ, ವಿಜ್ಞಾಪನೆಗೂ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡು; ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ನಿನ್ನ ಈ ಸೇವಕನ ಮೊರೆಯನ್ನು ಲಾಲಿಸು.
20 that Thine eyes may be open toward this house day and night, even toward the place whereof Thou hast said that thou wouldest put Thy name there; to hearken unto the prayer which Thy servant shall pray toward this place.
೨೦ಈ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು, ‘ನನ್ನ ನಾಮಪ್ರಭಾವವು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುವುದು’” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದವನೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಕೃಪಾ ಕಟಾಕ್ಷವು ಹಗಲಿರುಳು ಈ ಮಂದಿರದ ಮೇಲಿರಲಿ; ಇಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸುವಾಗಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸದುತ್ತರವನ್ನು ದಯಪಾಲಿಸು.
21 And hearken Thou to the supplications of Thy servant, and of Thy people Israel, when they shall pray toward this place; yea, hear Thou from Thy dwelling-place, even from heaven; and when Thou hearest, forgive.
೨೧ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ, ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನ ಹಾಗೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳಾದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ವಿಜ್ಞಾಪನೆಯನ್ನು ಲಾಲಿಸು. ಅವರು ಈ ಸ್ಥಳದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸುವಾಗ ನಿನ್ನ ನಿವಾಸವಾಗಿರುವ ಪರಲೋಕದಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮ ವಿಜ್ಞಾಪನೆಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ, ಕ್ಷಮೆಯನ್ನು ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿಸು.
22 If a man sin against his neighbour, and an oath be exacted of him to cause him to swear, and he come and swear before Thine altar in this house;
೨೨ನೆರೆಯವನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಪಾಪ ಮಾಡಿ, ಶಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ಗುರಿಯಾದ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ತಾನು ನಿರ್ದೋಷಿಯೆಂದು ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಮಾಡುವಾಗ, ಅವನು ಈ ಆಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು ನಿನ್ನ ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಂತು ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ,
23 then hear Thou from heaven, and do, and judge Thy servants, requiting the wicked, to bring his way upon his own head; and justifying the righteous, to give him according to his righteousness.
೨೩ಆಗ ನೀನು ಪರಲೋಕದಿಂದ ಅದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ತೀರಿಸು; ದುಷ್ಟನಿಗೆ ಅವನ ದುಷ್ಟತ್ವವನ್ನು ಅವನ ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆಯೇ ಬರಮಾಡಿ ಮುಯ್ಯಿತೀರಿಸು; ನೀತಿವಂತನಿಗೆ ಅವನ ನೀತಿಯ ಫಲವನ್ನು ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿಸಿ ಅವನು ನೀತಿವಂತನೆಂದು ತೋರಿಸಿಕೊಡು.
24 And if Thy people Israel be smitten down before the enemy, when they sin against Thee, and shall turn again and confess Thy name, and pray and make supplication before Thee in this house;
೨೪“ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳಾದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ನಿನಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಪಾಪ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ತಮ್ಮ ಶತ್ರುವಿನ ಮುಂದೆ ಸೋತು ಹೋದಾಗ ಅವರು ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಆಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸಿ, ನಿನ್ನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಜ್ಞಾಪನೆಯನ್ನೂ, ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದರೆ,
25 then hear Thou from heaven, and forgive the sin of Thy people Israel, and bring them back unto the land which Thou gavest to them and to their fathers.
೨೫ನೀನು ಪರಲೋಕದಿಂದ ಲಾಲಿಸಿ ಅವರ ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನು ಕ್ಷಮಿಸಿ, ಅವರಿಗೂ ಅವರ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರಿಗೂ ನೀನು ಕೊಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಸ್ವದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ತಿರುಗಿ ಬರಮಾಡು.
26 When the heaven is shut up, and there is no rain, when they sin against Thee; if they pray toward this place, and confess Thy name, turning from their sin, when Thou dost afflict them;
೨೬“ಅವರ ಪಾಪಗಳ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿ, ನೀನು ಆಕಾಶವನ್ನು ಮಳೆಗರೆಯದಂತೆ ಮುಚ್ಚಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ತಗ್ಗಿಸಿದಾಗ, ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತಗ್ಗಿಸಿದವನು ನೀನೇ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡು ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸಿ ಈ ಆಲಯದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸುವುದಾದರೆ,
27 then hear Thou in heaven, and forgive the sin of Thy servants, and of Thy people Israel, when Thou dost direct them on the good way wherein they should walk; and send rain upon Thy land, which Thou hast given to Thy people for an inheritance.
೨೭ಪರಲೋಕದಿಂದ ನೀನು ಲಾಲಿಸಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರು ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳೂ ಆದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನು ಕ್ಷಮಿಸಿ, ಅವರು ನಡೆಯಬೇಕಾದ ಸನ್ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸಿ, ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಸ್ವತ್ತಾಗಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಮಳೆಯನ್ನು ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿಸು.
28 If there be in the land famine, if there be pestilence, if there be blasting or mildew, locust or caterpillar; if their enemies besiege them in the land of their cities; whatsoever plague or whatsoever sickness there be;
೨೮“ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರಗಾಲ, ಘೋರವ್ಯಾಧಿ, ಬಿಸಿಗಾಳಿ, ಮಿಡತೆ, ಚಿಟ್ಟೇಹುಳು, ಹಸಿರುಹುಳು ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಶತ್ರುಗಳು ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ಮುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಹಾಕುವುದು, ಇಂಥ ಯಾವ ಉಪದ್ರವದಿಂದಾಗಲಿ, ವ್ಯಾಧಿಯಿಂದಾಗಲಿ ಬಾಧೆಯುಂಟಾದರೆ,
29 what prayer and supplication soever be made by any man, or by all Thy people Israel, who shall know every man his own plague and his own pain, and shall spread forth his hands toward this house;
೨೯ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರಾಗಲಿ, ಅವರಲ್ಲೊಬ್ಬನಾಗಲಿ, ತಾವು ಅನುಭವಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಉಪದ್ರವ ದುಃಖಗಳ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿ ಈ ಆಲಯದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಕೈಯೆತ್ತಿ ನಿನಗೆ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯನ್ನೂ, ವಿಜ್ಞಾಪನೆಯನ್ನೂ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ,
30 then hear Thou from heaven Thy dwelling-place, and forgive, and render unto every man according to all his ways, whose heart Thou knowest — for Thou, even Thou only, knowest the hearts of the children of men —
೩೦ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಹೃದಯಗಳನ್ನು ಬಲ್ಲಂಥ ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ನಿವಾಸವಾಗಿರುವ ಪರಲೋಕದಿಂದ ಅಲಿಸಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಪಾಪ ಕ್ಷಮೆಯನ್ನು ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿಸು. ನೀನೊಬ್ಬನೇ ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಹೃದಯಗಳನ್ನು ಬಲ್ಲವನಾಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನಿಗೂ ಅವನವನ ನಡತೆಗೆ ತಕ್ಕ ಹಾಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲವನ್ನು ಕೊಡು.
31 that they may fear Thee, to walk in Thy ways, all the days that they live in the land which Thou gavest unto our fathers.
೩೧ಆಗ ನಮ್ಮ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರಿಗೆ ನೀನು ಕೊಟ್ಟ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ವಾಸಿಸುವ ಕಾಲವೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಭಯಭಕ್ತಿಯುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುವರು.
32 Moreover concerning the stranger, that is not of Thy people Israel, when be shall come out of a far country for Thy great name's sake, and Thy mighty hand, and Thine outstretched arm; when they shall come and pray toward this house;
೩೨“ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳಾದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನಲ್ಲದೆ ಸೇರದಂಥ ಒಬ್ಬ ಅನ್ಯನೂ, ಪರದೇಶಿಯು ನಿನ್ನ ಮಹತ್ತಾದ ನಾಮ, ಭುಜಬಲ, ಶಿಕ್ಷಾಹಸ್ತ ಇವುಗಳ ವರ್ತಮಾನವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ದೂರದೇಶದಿಂದ ಬಂದು, ಈ ಆಲಯದ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಂತು, ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿದರೆ ನಿನ್ನ ನಿವಾಸವಾಗಿರುವ,
33 then hear Thou from heaven, even from Thy dwelling-place, and do according to all that the stranger calleth to Thee for; that all the peoples of the earth may know Thy name, and fear Thee, as doth Thy people Israel, and that they may know that Thy name is called upon this house which I have built.
೩೩ಪರಲೋಕದಿಂದ ಅವನ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಅವನು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡದ್ದನ್ನು ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿಸು. ಆಗ ಲೋಕದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನರೂ ನಿನ್ನ ನಾಮದ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದು, ನಿನ್ನ ಜನರಾದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಂತೆ ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಭಯಭಕ್ತಿಯುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಆಲಯವು ಕಟ್ಟಲ್ಪಟಿದ್ದೆಯೆಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು.
34 If Thy people go out to battle against their enemies, by whatsoever way Thou shalt send them, and they pray unto Thee toward this city which Thou hast chosen, and the house which I have built for Thy name;
೩೪“ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಜನರನ್ನು ಶತ್ರುಗಳೊಡನೆ ಯುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಎಲ್ಲಿಗಾದರೂ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದಾಗ, ಅವರು ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ನೀನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಕಡೆಗೂ, ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿರುವ ಈ ಆಲಯದ ಕಡೆಗೂ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿದರೆ,
35 then hear Thou from heaven their prayer and their supplication, and maintain their cause.
೩೫ನೀನು ಪರಲೋಕದಿಂದ ಅವರ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯನ್ನೂ, ವಿಜ್ಞಾಪನೆಯನ್ನೂ, ಕೇಳಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸಹಾಯವನ್ನು ಮಾಡು.
36 If they sin against Thee — for there is no man that sinneth not — and Thou be angry with them, and deliver them to the enemy, so that they carry them away captive unto a land far off or near;
೩೬“ಅವರು ನಿನಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಪಾಪ ಮಾಡಬಹುದು, ಪಾಪ ಮಾಡದ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಒಬ್ಬನೂ ಇಲ್ಲ. ನೀನು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೋಪಗೊಂಡು ಅವರನ್ನು ಶತ್ರುಗಳ ಕೈಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿದಾಗ ಮತ್ತು ಆ ಶತ್ರುಗಳು ಅವರನ್ನು ಸೆರೆಹಿಡಿದು ದೂರದಲ್ಲಾಗಲಿ, ಸಮೀಪದಲ್ಲಾಗಲಿ, ಇರುವ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಒಯ್ದಾಗ,
37 yet if they shall bethink themselves in the land whither they are carried captive, and turn, and make supplication unto Thee in the land of their captivity, saying: We have sinned, we have done iniquitously, and have dealt wickedly;
೩೭ತಾವು ಸೆರೆಯವರಾಗಿ ಬಿದ್ದುಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಪಶ್ಚಾತ್ತಾಪಪಟ್ಟು, ನಿನ್ನ ಅನುಗ್ರಹದಿಂದ ತಮ್ಮ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರಿಗೆ ದೊರಕಿದ ದೇಶದ ಕಡೆಗೂ, ನೀನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಕಡೆಗೂ, ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿರುವ ಈ ಆಲಯದ ಕಡೆಗೂ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು, ‘ನಿನ್ನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮೀರಿ ಪಾಪಮಾಡಿ ದ್ರೋಹಿಗಳಾದೆವು’ ಎಂದು ವಿಜ್ಞಾಪನೆ ಮಾಡಿ,
38 if they return unto Thee with all their heart and with all their soul in the land of their captivity, whither they have carried them captive, and pray toward their land, which Thou gavest unto their fathers, and the city which Thou hast chosen, and toward the house which I have built for Thy name;
೩೮ನಿನ್ನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಪೂರ್ಣಮನಸ್ಸಿನಿಂದಲೂ, ಪೂರ್ಣಪ್ರಾಣದಿಂದಲೂ ತಿರುಗಿ, ನೀನು ಅವರ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ತಮ್ಮ ದೇಶದ ಕಡೆಗೂ, ನೀನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಕಡೆಗೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ನಾನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿರುವ ಈ ಆಲಯದ ಕಡೆಗೂ ಅವರು ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು ನಿನಗೆ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದರೆ,
39 then hear Thou from heaven, even from Thy dwelling-place, their prayer and their supplications, and maintain their cause; and forgive Thy people who have sinned against Thee.
೩೯ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ನಿವಾಸವಾಗಿರುವ ಪರಲೋಕದಿಂದ ಅವರ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯನ್ನು, ವಿಜ್ಞಾಪನೆಯನ್ನು ಆಲಿಸಿ, ಅವರಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ಪಾಲಿಸಿ ನಿನಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಪಾಪಮಾಡಿದ ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಕ್ಷಮೆಯನ್ನು ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿಸು.
40 Now, O my God, let, I beseech Thee, Thine eyes be open, and let Thine ears be attent, unto the prayer that is made in this place.
೪೦ನನ್ನ ದೇವರೇ, ಕಟಾಕ್ಷವಿಟ್ಟು ಈ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡುವ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಗೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡು.
41 Now therefore arise, O LORD God, into Thy resting-place, Thou, and the ark of Thy strength; let Thy priests, O LORD God, be clothed with salvation, and let Thy saints rejoice in good.
೪೧ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರತಾಪವಾದ ಮಂಜೂಷದ ಸಂಗಡ, ನಿನ್ನ ವಾಸಸ್ಥಾನದೊಳಗೆ ಬರೋಣವಾಗಲಿ. ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಯಾಜಕರು ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯೆಂಬ ವಸ್ತ್ರವನ್ನು ಹೊದ್ದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ; ನಿನ್ನ ಭಕ್ತರು ನಿನ್ನ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯತನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂತೋಷಪಡಲಿ.
42 O LORD God, turn not away the face of Thine anointed; remember the good deeds of David Thy servant.'
೪೨ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನಿನ್ನಿಂದ ಅಭಿಷಿಕ್ತನಾದವನನ್ನು ತಳ್ಳಿಬಿಡಬೇಡ; ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ದಾವೀದನಿಗೆ ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದ ಕೃಪೆಯನ್ನು ನೆನಪುಮಾಡಿಕೋ.” ಎಂದು ವಿಜ್ಞಾಪನೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡನು.
