2 Chronicles 19
1 And Jehoshaphat the king of Judah returned to his house in peace to Jerusalem.
ଏଉତ୍ତାରେ ଯିହୁଦାର ରାଜା ଯିହୋଶାଫଟ୍ ଯିରୂଶାଲମକୁ ଆପଣା ଗୃହକୁ କୁଶଳରେ ଫେରିଗଲେ।
2 And Jehu the son of Hanani the seer went out to meet him, and said to king Jehoshaphat: 'Shouldest thou help the wicked, and love them that hate the LORD? for this thing wrath is upon thee from before the LORD.
ପୁଣି ହନାନିର ପୁତ୍ର ଯେହୂ ଦର୍ଶକ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଭେଟିବାକୁ ବାହାରକୁ ଯାଇ ଯିହୋଶାଫଟ୍ ରାଜାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲା, “ଦୁଷ୍ଟମାନଙ୍କର ସାହାଯ୍ୟ କରିବା, ପୁଣି ଯେଉଁମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ଘୃଣା କରନ୍ତି, ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରେମ କରିବା କି ତୁମ୍ଭର କର୍ତ୍ତବ୍ୟ? ଏହି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ହେତୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କଠାରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଉପରେ କୋପ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ।
3 Nevertheless there are good things found in thee, in that thou hast put away the Asheroth out of the land, and hast set thy heart to seek God.'
ତଥାପି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯେ ଦେଶରୁ ଆଶେରା ମୂର୍ତ୍ତି ଦୂର କରିଦେଇଅଛ ଓ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କର ଅନ୍ୱେଷଣ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଆପଣା ମନ ନିବେଶ କରିଅଛ, ଏଥିରେ ତୁମ୍ଭଠାରେ କୌଣସି କୌଣସି ସଦ୍ଭାବ ପ୍ରକାଶ ପାଇଅଛି।”
4 And Jehoshaphat dwelt at Jerusalem; and he went out again among the people from Beer-sheba to the hill-country of Ephraim, and brought them back unto the LORD, the God of their fathers.
ପୁଣି ଯିହୋଶାଫଟ୍ ଯିରୂଶାଲମରେ ବାସ କଲେ; ଆଉ ସେ ପୁନର୍ବାର ବେର୍ଶେବାଠାରୁ ଇଫ୍ରୟିମର ପର୍ବତମୟ ଦେଶ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଗତାୟାତ କରି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପିତୃଗଣର ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଫେରାଇ ଆଣିଲେ।
5 And he set judges in the land throughout all the fortified cities of Judah, city by city,
ଆଉ, ସେ ଦେଶର ସର୍ବତ୍ର ଯିହୁଦାର ପ୍ରାଚୀର-ବେଷ୍ଟିତ ନଗରସମୂହରେ ନଗରକୁ ନଗର ବିଚାରକର୍ତ୍ତାମାନଙ୍କୁ ନିଯୁକ୍ତ କଲେ।
6 and said to the judges: 'Consider what ye do; for ye judge not for man, but for the LORD; and He is with you in giving judgment.
ଓ ସେହି ବିଚାରକର୍ତ୍ତାମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଯାହା କର, ତାହା ବିବେଚନା କର; କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ନିମନ୍ତେ ନୁହେଁ, ମାତ୍ର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ବିଚାର କରୁଅଛ; ପୁଣି ବିଚାରରେ ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ସହାୟ ଅଟନ୍ତି।
7 Now therefore let the fear of the LORD be upon you; take heed and do it; for there is no iniquity with the LORD our God, nor respect of persons, nor taking of bribes.'
ଏହେତୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଭୟ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ଅଧିଷ୍ଠିତ ହେଉ; ସାବଧାନ ହୋଇ ତାହା କର; କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କଠାରେ ଅଧର୍ମ କି ମୁଖାପେକ୍ଷା କି ଲାଞ୍ଚ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିବାର ନାହିଁ।”
8 Moreover in Jerusalem did Jehoshaphat set of the Levites and the priests, and of the heads of the fathers' houses of Israel, for the judgment of the LORD, and for controversies. And they returned to Jerusalem.
ଆହୁରି, ଯିହୋଶାଫଟ୍ ଯିରୂଶାଲମରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ପକ୍ଷରେ ବିଚାର ଓ ବିବାଦ ଭଞ୍ଜନ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ, ଲେବୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ଓ ଯାଜକମାନଙ୍କ ଓ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ପିତୃବଂଶର ପ୍ରଧାନମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଲୋକ ନିଯୁକ୍ତ କଲେ। ତହୁଁ ସେମାନେ ଯିରୂଶାଲମକୁ ଫେରିଗଲେ।
9 And he charged them, saying: 'Thus shall ye do in the fear of the LORD, faithfully, and with a whole heart.
ପୁଣି, ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦେଇ କହିଲେ, “ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଭୟରେ ବିଶ୍ୱସ୍ତ ରୂପେ ଓ ସିଦ୍ଧ ଅନ୍ତଃକରଣରେ ଏହିପରି କର।
10 And whensoever any controversy shall come to you from your brethren that dwell in their cities, between blood and blood, between law and commandment, statutes and ordinances, ye shall warn them, that they be not guilty towards the LORD, and so wrath come upon you and upon your brethren; thus shall ye do, and ye shall not be guilty.
ପୁଣି, ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ନଗରବାସୀ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଭ୍ରାତୃଗଣ ଦ୍ୱାରା ରକ୍ତପାତ ଓ ରକ୍ତପାତ ମଧ୍ୟରେ, ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ଓ ଆଜ୍ଞା, ବିଧି ଓ ଶାସନ ମଧ୍ୟରେ କୌଣସି ବିବାଦ କୌଣସି ସମୟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେଲେ ଯେପରି ସେମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଦୋଷୀ ନୋହିବେ, ଆଉ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଭ୍ରାତୃଗଣ ଉପରେ କୋପ ନ ବର୍ତ୍ତିବ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଚେତନା ଦେବ; ଏହା କଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଦୋଷୀ ନୋହିବ।
11 And, behold, Amariah the chief priest is over you in all matters of the LORD; and Zebadiah the son of Ishmael, the ruler of the house of Judah, in all the king's matters; also the officers of the Levites before you. Deal courageously, and the LORD be with the good.'
ଆଉ ଦେଖ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ସମସ୍ତ ବିଷୟରେ ପ୍ରଧାନ ଯାଜକ ଅମରୀୟ, ପୁଣି ରାଜାଙ୍କର ସମସ୍ତ ବିଷୟରେ ଇଶ୍ମାୟେଲର ପୁତ୍ର ଯିହୁଦା-ବଂଶାଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷ ସବଦୀୟ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ନିଯୁକ୍ତ ଅଛନ୍ତି; ମଧ୍ୟ ଲେବୀୟମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଶାସନକର୍ତ୍ତା ହେବେ। ସାହସିକ ହୋଇ କର୍ମ କର ଓ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସୁଜନର ସହବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ହେଉନ୍ତୁ।”
