2 Chronicles 13
1 In the eighteenth year of king Jeroboam began Abijah to reign over Judah.
১যাৰবিয়াম ৰজাৰ ৰাজত্বৰ অষ্টাদশ বছৰত অবিয়াই যিহূদাৰ ওপৰত ৰাজত্ৱ কৰিবলৈ ধৰিলে৷
2 Three years reigned he in Jerusalem; and his mother's name was Micaiah the daughter of Uriel of Gibeah. And there was war between Abijah and Jeroboam.
২তেওঁ তিনি বছৰ যিৰূচালেমত ৰাজত্ব কৰিলে; তেওঁৰ মাতৃৰ নাম মীখায়া আছিল৷ তেখেত গিবিয়া নিবাসী উৰিয়েলৰ জীয়েক আছিল। সেই সময়ত অবিয়া আৰু যাৰবিয়ামৰ মাজত যুদ্ধ চলি আছিল।
3 And Abijah joined battle with an army of valiant men of war, even four hundred thousand chosen men; and Jeroboam set the battle in array against him with eight hundred thousand chosen men, who were mighty men of valour.
৩অবিয়াই যুদ্ধাৰু বীৰ পুৰুষ থকা সৈন্য সামন্তৰ চাৰি লাখ মনোনীত লোক লগত লৈ যুদ্ধ কৰিবলৈ গ’ল৷ যাৰবিয়ামে আঠ লাখ মনোনীত বলৱান বীৰপুৰুষ লগত লৈ তেওঁৰ বিৰুদ্ধে বেহু পাতিলে।
4 And Abijah stood up upon mount Zemaraim, which is in the hill-country of Ephraim, and said: 'Hear me, O Jeroboam and all Israel;
৪অবিয়াই ইফ্ৰয়িমৰ পৰ্বতীয়া অঞ্চলত থকা চমাৰয়িম পৰ্বতৰ ওপৰত থিয় হৈ ক’লে, “হে যাৰবিয়াম আৰু গোটেই ইস্ৰায়েল লোক, মোৰ কথা শুনা!
5 ought ye not to know that the LORD, the God of Israel, gave the kingdom over Israel to David for ever, even to him and to his sons by a covenant of salt?
৫ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাই যে ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ৰাজ্যভাৰ চিৰকাললৈকে দায়ূদক আৰু তেওঁৰ সন্তান সকলক পৰম্পৰাগত এটি নিয়মেৰে দিলে, সেই বিষয়ে জানো তোমালোকে নাজানা?
6 Yet Jeroboam the son of Nebat, the servant of Solomon the son of David, rose up, and rebelled against his lord.
৬তথাপি দায়ূদৰ পুত্ৰ চলোমনৰ দাস নবাটৰ পুত্ৰ যাৰবিয়াম তেওঁৰ প্ৰভুৰ বিৰুদ্ধে উঠি বিদ্ৰোহী হ’ল;
7 And there were gathered unto him vain men, base fellows that strengthened themselves against Rehoboam the son of Solomon, when Rehoboam was young and faint-hearted, and could not withstand them.
৭আৰু কেতবোৰ পাষণ্ড ও অসাৰ চিত্তৰ লোকসকল তেওঁৰ ওচৰত গোট খালে৷ তেওঁলোকে চলোমনৰ পুত্ৰ ৰহবিয়ামৰ বিৰুদ্ধে নিজকে সবল কৰিলে; যেতিয়া ৰহবিয়াম ডেকা আৰু অনভিজ্ঞ হোৱাত তেওঁলোকৰ আগত নিজকে সবল কৰিব নোৱাৰিছিল।
8 And now ye think to withstand the kingdom of the LORD in the hand of the sons of David; and ye are a great multitude, and there are with you the golden calves which Jeroboam made you for gods.
৮আৰু এতিয়া তোমালোকে দায়ূদৰ সন্তান সকলৰ হাতত থকা যিহোৱাৰ ৰাজ্যৰ বিৰুদ্ধে নিজকে সবল কৰিব পাৰিম বুলি ভাবিছাহঁক৷ তোমালোক অতিশয় এক বৃহৎ সৈন্যৰ দল আৰু দেৱতা স্বৰূপে তোমালোকৰ বাবে যাৰবিয়ামে সজা সোণৰ দামুৰি কেইটা তোমালোকৰ লগত আছে।
9 Have ye not driven out the priests of the LORD, the sons of Aaron, and the Levites, and have made you priests after the manner of the peoples of other lands? so that whosoever cometh to consecrate himself with a young bullock and seven rams, the same becometh a priest of them that are no gods.
৯তোমালোকে যিহোৱাৰ পুৰোহিত হাৰোণৰ সন্তান সকলক আৰু লেবীয়াসকলক খেদি দিয়া নাই জানো? অন্য দেশীয় জাতিবোৰৰ দৰে নিজৰ বাবে পুৰোহিত পাতি লোৱা নাই জানো? ইয়াতে যিজনে এটা দমৰা আৰু সাতোটা মেৰ লৈ নিজকে পুৰোহিত কৰাবলৈ আহে, তেওঁ সেই ঈশ্বৰ নোহোৱাবোৰৰ পুৰোহিত হ’ব পাৰে।
10 But as for us, the LORD is our God, and we have not forsaken Him; and we have priests ministering unto the LORD, the sons of Aaron, and the Levites in their work;
১০কিন্তু আমাৰ বাবে হ’লে যিহোৱাই আমাৰ ঈশ্বৰ আৰু আমি তেওঁক ত্যাগ কৰা নাই৷ আৰু যিহোৱাৰ পৰিচৰ্যা কৰোঁতা পুৰোহিত হাৰোণৰ সন্তান সকল, আৰু নিজ নিজ কামত লাগি থকা লেবীয়াসকল আমাৰ আছে৷
11 and they burn unto the LORD every morning and every evening burnt-offerings and sweet incense; the showbread also set they in order upon the pure table; and the candlestick of gold with the lamps thereof, to burn every evening; for we keep the charge of the LORD our God; but ye have forsaken Him.
১১তেওঁলোকে যিহোৱাৰ উদ্দেশ্যে প্ৰতি দিনে ৰাতিপুৱা আৰু সন্ধিয়া বেলা হোম-বলি উৎসৰ্গ কৰে আৰু সুগন্ধি ধূপ জ্বলায়৷ আৰু পবিত্ৰ মেজৰ ওপৰত যিহোৱাৰ আগত দিয়া পিঠা সজায় ৰাখে আৰু সন্ধিয়া বেলা জ্বলাবৰ বাবে প্ৰদীপবোৰৰ সৈতে সোণৰ দীপাধাৰ যুগুতাই থয়৷ কিয়নো আমি আমাৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাৰ আজ্ঞা পালন কৰোঁ, কিন্তু তোমালোকে তেওঁক ত্যাগ কৰিলা।
12 And, behold, God is with us at our head, and His priests with the trumpets of alarm to sound an alarm against you. O children of Israel, fight ye not against the LORD, the God of your fathers; for ye shall not prosper.'
১২আৰু চোৱা, ঈশ্বৰ আমাৰ সঙ্গী হৈ আমাৰ আগত যাওঁতা হৈছে; আৰু তেওঁৰ পুৰোহিতসকল তোমালোকৰ বিৰুদ্ধে মহাধ্বনি কৰা তেওঁলোকৰ তূৰীও আছে। হে ইস্ৰায়েলৰ সন্তান সকল, তোমালোকে তোমালোকৰ পূৰ্বপুৰুষসকলৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাৰ বিৰুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ নকৰিবা, কিয়নো তেতিয়া তোমালোকে কৃতকাৰ্য্য নহ’বা৷
13 But Jeroboam caused an ambushment to come about behind them; so they were before Judah, and the ambushment was behind them.
১৩কিন্তু যাৰবিয়ামে তেওঁলোকক আক্ৰমণ কৰিবৰ অৰ্থে যুগুত হ’ল আৰু গুপুতে এদল সৈন্য তেওঁলোকৰ পাছ ফাললৈ ঘূৰাই পঠালে; তাতে এদল লোক যিহূদাৰ আগফালে আৰু সেই গুপুতে পঠোৱা দলটো তেওঁলোকৰ পাছফালে আছিল।
14 And when Judah looked back, behold, the battle was before and behind them; and they cried unto the LORD, and the priests sounded with the trumpets.
১৪পাছত যিহূদাৰ লোকসকলে মুখ ঘূৰাই যেতিয়া তেওঁলোকৰ আগফালে আৰু পাছফালে যুদ্ধ হোৱা দেখিলে, তেতিয়া তেওঁলোকে যিহোৱাৰ আগত কাতৰোক্তি কৰিবলৈ ধৰিলে আৰু পুৰোহিতসকলে তূৰী বজালে;
15 Then the men of Judah gave a shout; and as the men of Judah shouted, it came to pass, that God smote Jeroboam and all Israel before Abijah and Judah.
১৫তেতিয়া যিহূদাৰ লোকসকলে সিংহনাদ কৰি উঠিল; যিহূদাৰ লোকসকলে এনে সিংহনাদ কৰোঁতে, ঈশ্বৰে অবিয়াৰ আৰু যিহূদাৰ আগত যাৰবিয়ামক আৰু গোটেই ইস্ৰায়েলক প্ৰহাৰ কৰিলে।
16 And the children of Israel fled before Judah; and God delivered them into their hand.
১৬তেতিয়া ইস্ৰায়েলৰ লোকসকলে যিহূদাৰ সন্মুখৰ পৰা পলাল অাৰু ঈশ্বৰে তেওঁলোকক যিহূদাৰ হাতত শোধাই দিলে।
17 And Abijah and his people slew them with a great slaughter; so there fell down slain of Israel five hundred thousand chosen men.
১৭অবিয়া আৰু তেওঁৰ লোকসকলে তেওঁলোকৰ মাজত মহা সংহাৰেৰে সংহাৰ কৰিলে; তাতে ইস্ৰায়েলৰ মাজত পাঁচলাখ মনোনীত লোকৰ মৃত্যু হ’ল।
18 Thus the children of Israel were brought under at that time, and the children of Judah prevailed, because they relied upon the LORD, the God of their fathers.
১৮এইদৰে সেই সময়ত ইস্ৰায়েলৰ সন্তান সকলক বশ কৰা হ’ল; যিহূদাৰ সন্তান সকল জয়ী হ’ল, কিয়নো তেওঁলোকৰ পূর্বপুৰুষসকলৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাৰ ওপৰত তেওঁলোকে ভাৰসা ৰাখিছিল।
19 And Abijah pursued after Jeroboam, and took cities from him, Bethel with the towns thereof, and Jeshanah with the towns thereof, and Ephrain with the towns thereof.
১৯পাছত অবিয়াই যাৰবিয়ামৰ পাছে পাছে খেদি গৈ, তেওঁৰ খনদিয়েক নগৰ অৰ্থাৎ বৈৎএল আৰু তাৰ উপনগৰ, যচানা আৰু তাৰ উপনগৰ আৰু ইফ্ৰোণ আৰু তাৰ উপনগৰবোৰ অধিকাৰ ল’লে।
20 Neither did Jeroboam recover strength again in the days of Abijah; and the LORD smote him, and he died.
২০অবিয়াৰ দিনত যাৰবিয়াম কেতিয়াও বলৱান হ’ব নোৱাৰিলে৷ পাছত যিহোৱাই তেওঁক প্ৰহাৰ কৰাত, তেওঁৰ মৃত্যু হ’ল।
21 But Abijah waxed mighty, and took unto himself fourteen wives, and begot twenty and two sons, and sixteen daughters.
২১কিন্তু অবিয়া বলৱান হৈ উঠিল; তেওঁ চৌদ্ধ গৰাকী মহিলা বিয়া কৰালে৷ তেওঁৰ ঔৰসত বাইশজন পুতেক আৰু ষোল্লজনী জীয়েক জন্ম লৈছিল।
22 And the rest of the acts of Abijah, and his ways, and his sayings, are written in the commentary of the prophet Iddo.
২২অবিয়াৰ অৱশিষ্ট বৃত্তান্ত, তেওঁৰ কাৰ্য আৰু তেওঁ কোৱা কথা ইদ্দো ভাববাদীৰ টীকা শাস্ত্ৰখনত লিখা আছে।
