1 Chronicles 6

1 The sons of Levi: Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.

Fiii lui Levi: Gherșon, Chehat și Merari.

2 And the sons of Kohath: Amram, Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel.

3 And the children of Amram: Aaron, and Moses, and Miriam. And the sons of Aaron: Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.

4 Eleazar begot Phinehas, Phinehas begot Abishua;

5 and Abishua begot Bukki, and Bukki begot Uzzi;

Și Abișua a născut pe Buchi și Buchi a născut pe Uzi,

6 and Uzzi begot Zerahiah, and Zerahiah begot Meraioth;

7 Meraioth begot Amariah, and Amariah begot Ahitub;

15 and Jehozadak went into captivity, when the LORD carried away Judah and Jerusalem by the hand of Nebuchadnezzar.

16 The sons of Levi: Gershom, Kohath and Merari.

17 And these are the names of the sons of Gershom: Libni, and Shimei.

Și acestea sunt numele fiilor lui Gherșom: Libni și Șimei.

18 And the sons of Kohath were Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel.

Și fiii lui Chehat au fost: Amram și Ițehar și Hebron și Uziel.

19 The sons of Merari: Mahli, and Mushi. And these are the families of the Levites according to their fathers' houses.

20 Of Gershom: Libni his son, Jahath his son, Zimmah his son;

26 As for Elkanah: the sons of Elkanah: Zophai his son, and Nahath his son;

31 And these are they whom David set over the service of song in the house of the LORD, after that the ark had rest.

32 And they ministered with song before the tabernacle of the tent of meeting, until Solomon had built the house of the LORD in Jerusalem; and they took their station at their service according to their order.

33 And these are they that took their station, and their sons. Of the sons of the Kohathites: Heman the singer, the son of Joel, the son of Samuel;

39 And his brother Asaph, who stood on his right hand; even Asaph the son of Berechiah, the son of Shimea;

40 the son of Michael, the son of Baaseiah, the son of Malchijah;

44 And on the left hand their brethren the sons of Merari: Ethan the son of Kishi, the son of Abdi, the son of Malluch;

45 the son of Hashabiah, the son of Amaziah, the son of Hilkiah;

48 And their brethren the Levites were appointed for all the service of the tabernacle of the house of God.

49 But Aaron and his sons offered upon the altar of burnt-offering, and upon the altar of incense, for all the work of the most holy place, and to make atonement for Israel, according to all that Moses the servant of God had commanded.

54 Now these are their dwelling-places according to their encampments in their borders: to the sons of Aaron, of the families of the Kohathites, for theirs was the first lot,

55 to them they gave Hebron in the land of Judah, and the open land round about it;

56 but the fields of the city, and the villages thereof, they gave to Caleb the son of Jephunneh.

57 And to the sons of Aaron they gave the city of refuge, Hebron; Libnah also with the open land about it, and Jattir, and Eshtemoa with the open land about it;

58 and Hilen with the open land about it, Debir with the open land about it;

59 and Ashan with the open land about it, and Beth-shemesh with the open land about it;

60 and out of the tribe of Benjamin: Geba with the open land about it, and Alemeth with the open land about it, and Anathoth with the open land about it. All their cities throughout their families were thirteen cities.

Și din tribul lui Beniamin: Gheba cu împrejurimile ei și Alemet cu împrejurimile ei și Anatot cu împrejurimile ei. Toate cetățile lor pentru toate familiile lor erau treisprezece cetăți.

61 And unto the rest of the sons of Kohath were given by lot, out of the family of the tribe, out of the half-tribe, the half of Manasseh, ten cities.

Și fiilor lui Chehat, rămași din familia acelui trib, li s-au dat prin sorț, zece cetăți, din jumătatea tribului, adică, din jumătatea tribului lui Manase;

62 And to the sons of Gershom, according to their families, out of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteen cities.

Și fiilor lui Gherșom, prin toate familiile lor, din tribul lui Isahar și din tribul lui Așer și din tribul lui Neftali și din tribul lui Manase în Basan, treisprezece cetăți.

63 Unto the sons of Merari were given by lot, according to their families, out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve cities.

Fiilor lui Merari le-a fost dat prin sorț, prin toate familiile lor, din tribul lui Ruben și din tribul lui Gad și din tribul lui Zabulon, douăsprezece cetăți.

64 So the children of Israel gave to the Levites the cities with the open land about them.

Și copiii lui Israel au dat leviților aceste cetăți cu toate împrejurimile lor.

65 And they gave by lot out of the tribe of the children of Judah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, and out of the tribe of the children of Benjamin, these cities which are mentioned by name.

Și le-au dat prin sorț din tribul copiilor lui Iuda și din tribul copiilor lui Simeon și din tribul copiilor lui Beniamin, aceste cetăți, care sunt numite pe numele lor.

66 And some of the families of the sons of Kohath had cities of their borders out of the tribe of Ephraim.

Și rămășița familiilor fiilor lui Chehat avea cetăți din ținuturile lor din tribul lui Efraim.

67 And they gave unto them the city of refuge, Shechem in the hill-country of Ephraim with the open land about it; Gezer also with the open land about it;

68 and Jokmeam with the open land about it, and Bethhoron with the open land about it;

69 and Aijalon with the open land about it, and Gath-rimmon with the open land about it;

Și Aialon cu împrejurimile ei și Gat-Rimon cu împrejurimile ei;

70 and out of the half-tribe of Manasseh: Aner with the open land about it, and Bileam with the open land about it, for the rest of the family of the sons of Kohath.

Și din jumătatea tribului lui Manase: Aner cu împrejurimile ei și Bileam cu împrejurimile ei, pentru familia din rămășița fiilor lui Chehat.

71 Unto the sons of Gershom were given, out of the family of the half-tribe of Manasseh, Golan in Bashan with the open land about it, and Ashtaroth with the open land about it;

Fiilor lui Gherșom li s-au dat din familia jumătății tribului lui Manase, Golan în Basan cu împrejurimile ei și Aștarot cu împrejurimile ei;

72 and out of the tribe of Issachar: Kedesh with the open land about it, Dobrath with the open land about it;

73 and Ramoth with the open land about it, and Anem with the open land about it;

74 and out of the tribe of Asher: Mashal with the open land about it, and Abdon with the open land about it;

75 and Hukok with the open land about it; and Rehob with the open land about it;

76 and out of the tribe of Naphtali: Kedesh in Galilee with the open land about it, and Hammon with the open land about it, and Kiriathaim with the open land about it.

Și din tribul lui Neftali: Chedeș, în Galileea, cu împrejurimile ei și Hamon cu împrejurimile ei și Chiriataim cu împrejurimile ei.

77 Unto the rest of the Levites, the sons of Merari, were given, out of the tribe of Zebulun, Rimmono with the open land about it, Tabor with the open land about it;

Restului copiilor lui Merari le-a fost dat din tribul lui Zabulon: Rimon cu împrejurimile ei, Tabor cu împrejurimile ei;

78 and beyond the Jordan at Jericho, on the east side of the Jordan, were given them, out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer in the wilderness with the open land about it, and Jahaz with the open land about it,

Și de partea cealaltă a Iordanului lângă Ierihon, pe partea de est a Iordanului, le-a fost dat din a tribului lui Ruben, Bețer în pustiu cu împrejurimile ei și Iahța cu împrejurimile ei,

79 and Kedemoth with the open land about it, and Mephaath with the open land about it;

Chedemot, de asemenea, cu împrejurimile ei și Mefaat cu împrejurimile ei;

80 and out of the tribe of Gad: Ramoth in Gilead with the open land about it, and Mahanaim with the open land about it,

81 and Heshbon with the open land about it, and Jazer with the open land about it.
