1 Chronicles 5
1 And the sons of Reuben the first-born of Israel — for he was the first-born; but, forasmuch as he defiled his father's couch, his birthright was given unto the sons of Joseph the son of Israel, yet not so that he was to be reckoned in the genealogy as first-born.
[勒烏本支派]以色列的長子勒烏本的子孫：─他雖是長子，但因他玷污了父親的床榻，他長子的權利已轉給了以色列的兒子若瑟的兩個兒子，不過後者在譜系上並沒有列為長子；
2 For Judah prevailed above his brethren, and of him came he that is the prince; but the birthright was Joseph's —
長子的權利雖歸若瑟，但兄弟中猶大最為強盛，因為領袖由他而生。
3 the sons of Reuben the first-born of Israel: Hanoch, and Pallu, Hezron, and Carmi.
以色列的長子勒烏本的兒子：哈諾客、帕路、赫茲龍和加爾米。
4 The sons of Joel: Shemaiah his son, Gog his son, Shimei his son;
約厄耳的子孫：約厄耳的兒子舍瑪雅，舍瑪雅的兒子哥格，哥格的兒子史米，
5 Micah his son, Reaiah his son, Baal his son;
史米的兒子米加，米加的兒子勒阿雅，勒阿雅的兒子巴耳，
6 Beerah his son, whom Tillegath-pilneser king of Assyria carried away captive; he was prince of the Reubenites.
巴耳的兒子貝厄辣；他為亞述王提革拉特丕肋色爾擄去；他是勒烏本人的族長。
7 And his brethren by their families, when the genealogy of their generations was reckoned: the chief Jeiel, and Zechariah,
他的兄弟們按家族歷代的譜系，為族長的是耶厄耳、則加黎雅、
8 and Bela the son of Azaz, the son of Shema, the son of Joel, who dwelt in Aroer, even unto Nebo and Baal-meon;
阿匝次的兒子貝拉；阿匝次是舍瑪的兒子，舍瑪是約厄耳的兒子。勒烏本居住在阿洛厄爾，直到乃波和巴耳默紅一帶，
9 and eastward he dwelt even unto the entrance of the wilderness from the river Euphrates; because their cattle were multiplied in the land of Gilead.
向東延至幼發拉的河岸曠野邊，因為他在基勒阿得地方有大批的牲畜。
10 And in the days of Saul they made war with the Hagrites, who fell by their hand; and they dwelt in their tents throughout all the land east of Gilead.
在撒烏耳時代，他們同哈革爾人作戰，哈革爾人失敗，勒烏本子孫佔領了基肋阿得東部所有的地域，佔有他們的帳幕。[加得支派]
11 And the sons of Gad dwelt over against them, in the land of Bashan unto Salcah:
加得的子孫靠近他們，住在巴商地方直到撒耳加：
12 Joel the chief, and Shapham the second, and Janai, and Shaphat in Bashan;
約厄耳為首，沙凡為副，其次為雅乃和巴商的沙法特。
13 and their brethren of their fathers' houses: Michael, and Meshullam, and Sheba, and Jorai, and Jacan, and Zia, and Eber, seven.
按家族，他們的兄弟是：米加耳、默叔藍、舍巴、約賴、雅甘、齊雅和厄貝爾七人。
14 These were the sons of Abihail the son of Huri, the son of Jaroah, the son of Gilead, the son of Michael, the son of Jehishai, the son of Jahdo, the son of Buz;
他們都是阿彼海耳的子孫：阿彼海耳是胡黎的兒子，胡黎是雅洛亞的兒子，雅洛亞是基肋阿得的兒子，基肋阿得是米加耳的兒子，米加耳是耶史賽的兒子，耶史賽是雅多的兒子，雅多是步次的兒子。
15 Ahi the son of Abdiel, the son of Guni, chief of their fathers' houses.
古尼的孫子，阿貝狄耳的兒子阿希，是他們一家的族長。
16 And they dwelt in Gilead in Bashan, and in the towns thereof, and in all the open lands of the plain, upon their borders.
他們住在基肋阿得、巴商和所屬各村鎮，以及息黎雍直到邊界所有的牧場：
17 All these were reckoned by genealogies in the days of Jotham king of Judah and in the days of Jeroboam king of Israel.
以上所有的加得人，是在猶大王約堂與以色列王雅洛貝罕時代所統計的。
18 The sons of Reuben, and the Gadites, and the half-tribe of Manasseh, as many as were valiant men, men able to bear buckler and sword, and to shoot with bow, and skilful in war, were forty and four thousand seven hundred and threescore, that were able to go forth to war.
勒烏本、加得和默納協半支派的子孫，都是英勇的軍人；能持盾操刀，善射好戰，出征上陣的人，有四萬四千七百六十。
19 And they made war with the Hagrites, with Jetur, and Naphish, and Nodab.
曾同哈革爾人、耶突爾人、納菲士人和諾達布人作過戰。
20 And they were helped against them, and the Hagrites were delivered into their hand, and all that were with them; for they cried to God in the battle, and He was entreated of them, because they put their trust in Him.
作戰時蒙天主助佑，哈革爾人和所有聯軍都落在他們手中，因為他們作戰時呼求了天主，依賴了天主，也蒙了垂允。
21 And they took away their cattle: of their camels fifty thousand, and of sheep two hundred and fifty thousand, and of asses two thousand; and of souls of men a hundred thousand.
他們掠奪了敵人的牲畜：駱駝五萬，羊二十五萬，驢二千，人口十萬。
22 For there fell many slain, because the war was of God. And they dwelt in their stead until the captivity.
因有天主助戰，敵人傷亡慘重。他們居住在那地方，直到充軍的時期。[默納協半支派]
23 And the children of the half-tribe of Manasseh dwelt in the land, from Bashan unto Baal-hermon and Senir and mount Hermon, where they increased.
默納協半支派的子孫居住的地方，由巴商直到巴耳赫爾孟、色尼爾和赫爾孟山；他們人數眾多。
24 And these were the heads of their fathers' houses: Epher, and Ishi, and Eliel, and Azriel, and Jeremiah, and Hodaviah, and Jahdiel, mighty men of valour, famous men, heads of their fathers' houses.
他們各家的族長如下：厄斐爾、依史、厄里耳、阿次黎耳、耶勒米雅、曷達委雅和雅狄耳：都是英勇的軍人，出名的人物，家族的首領。
25 And they broke faith with the God of their fathers, and went astray after the gods of the peoples of the land, whom God destroyed before them.
但是，他們卻背叛了自己祖先的天主，而事奉了當地人民的神，這些人民原是天主曾在他們前所消滅的。
26 And the God of Israel stirred up the spirit of Pul king of Assyria, and the spirit of Tillegath-pilneser king of Assyria, and he carried them away, even the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the half-tribe of Manasseh, and brought them unto Halah, and Habor, and Hara, and to the river of Gozan, unto this day.
因此，以色列的天主激起了亞述王普耳，即亞述王提革拉丕肋色爾的心，將勒烏本人、加得人和默納協半支派的人擄走，送到哈拉、哈波爾、哈辣和哥倉河一帶；他們直到今日仍在那裏。[充軍前亞郎的子孫]
