1 Chronicles 16
1 And they brought in the ark of God, and set it in the midst of the tent that David had pitched for it, and they offered burnt-offerings and peace-offerings before God.
Trazendo pois a arca de Deus, a pozeram no meio da tenda que David lhe tinha armado; e offereceram holocaustos e sacrificios pacificos perante Deus.
2 And when David had made an end of offering the burnt-offering and the peace-offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the LORD.
E, acabando David de offerecer os holocaustos e sacrificios pacificos, abençoou o povo em nome do Senhor.
3 And he dealt to every one of Israel, both man and woman, to every one a loaf of bread, and a cake made in a pan, and a sweet cake.
E repartiu a todos em Israel, tanto a homens como a mulheres, a cada um um pão, e um bom pedaço de carne, e um frasco de vinho.
4 And he appointed certain of the Levites to minister before the ark of the LORD, and to celebrate and to thank and praise the LORD, the God of Israel:
E poz perante a arca do Senhor alguns dos levitas por ministros; e isto para recordarem, e louvarem, e celebrarem ao Senhor Deus d'Israel.
5 Asaph the chief, and second to him Zechariah, Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obed-edom, and Jeiel, with psalteries and with harps; and Asaph with cymbals, sounding aloud;
Era Asaph o chefe, e Zacharias o segundo depois d'elle: Jeiel, e Semiramoth, e Jehiel, e Mattithias, e Eliab, e Benaias, e Obed-edom, e Jeiel, com alaudes e com harpas; e Asaph se fazia ouvir com cymbalos;
6 and Benaiah and Jahaziel the priests with trumpets continually, before the ark of the covenant of God.
Tambem Benaias, e Jahaziel, os sacerdotes, continuamente com trombetas, perante a arca do concerto de Deus.
7 Then on that day did David first ordain to give thanks unto the LORD, by the hand of Asaph and his brethren.
Então n'aquelle mesmo dia entregou David em primeiro logar o Psalmo seguinte, para louvarem ao Senhor, pelo ministerio de Asaph e de seus irmãos:
8 O give thanks unto the LORD, call upon His name; make known His doings among the peoples.
Louvae ao Senhor, invocae o seu nome, fazei conhecidos entre os povos os seus feitos.
9 Sing unto Him, sing praises unto Him; speak ye of all His marvellous works.
Cantae-lhe, psalmodiae-lhe, attentamente fallae de todas as suas maravilhas.
10 Glory ye in His holy name; let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.
Gloriae-vos no seu sancto nome; alegre-se o coração dos que buscam ao Senhor.
11 Seek ye the LORD and His strength; seek His face continually.
Buscae ao Senhor, e a sua força; buscae a sua face continuamente.
12 Remember His marvellous works that He hath done, His wonders, and the judgments of His mouth;
Lembrae-vos das suas maravilhas que tem feito, de seus prodigios, e dos juizos da sua bocca.
13 O ye seed of Israel His servant, ye children of Jacob, His chosen ones.
Vós, semente d'Israel, seus servos, vós, filhos de Jacob, seus eleitos.
14 He is the LORD our God; His judgments are in all the earth.
Elle é o Senhor nosso Deus; em toda a terra estão os seus juizos.
15 Remember His covenant for ever, the word which He commanded to a thousand generations;
Lembrae-vos perpetuamente do seu concerto e da palavra que prescreveu para mil gerações;
16 The covenant which He made with Abraham, and His oath unto Isaac;
Do concerto que contratou com Abrahão, e do seu juramento a Isaac;
17 And He established it unto Jacob for a statute, to Israel for an everlasting covenant;
O qual tambem a Jacob ratificou por estatuto, e a Israel por concerto eterno,
18 Saying: 'Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance.'
Dizendo: A ti te darei a terra de Canaan, quinhão da vossa herança.
19 When ye were but a few men in number, yea, very few, and sojourners in it,
Sendo vós em pequeno numero, poucos homens, e estrangeiros n'ella.
20 And when they went about from nation to nation, and from one kingdom to another people,
E andaram de nação em nação, e d'um reino para outro povo.
21 He suffered no man to do them wrong, yea, for their sake He reproved kings:
A ninguem permittiu que os opprimisse, e por amor d'elles reprehendeu reis, dizendo:
22 'Touch not Mine anointed ones, and do My prophets no harm.'
Não toqueis os meus ungidos, e aos meus prophetas não façaes mal.
23 Sing unto the LORD, all the earth; proclaim His salvation from day to day.
Cantae ao Senhor em toda a terra; annunciae de dia em dia a sua salvação.
24 Declare His glory among the nations, His marvellous works among all the peoples.
Contae entre as nações a sua gloria, entre todos os povos as suas maravilhas.
25 For great is the LORD, and highly to be praised; He also is to be feared above all gods.
Porque grande é o Senhor, e muito para louvar, e mais tremendo é do que todos os deuses.
26 For all the gods of the peoples are things of nought; but the LORD made the heavens.
Porque todos os deuses das nações são vaidades; porém o Senhor fez os céus.
27 Honour and majesty are before Him; strength and gladness are in His place.
Magestade e esplendor ha diante d'elle, força e alegria no seu logar.
28 Ascribe unto the LORD, ye kindreds of the peoples, ascribe unto the LORD glory and strength.
Dae ao Senhor, ó familias das nações, dae ao Senhor gloria e força.
29 Ascribe unto the LORD the glory due unto His name; bring an offering, and come before Him; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.
Dae ao Senhor a gloria de seu nome; trazei presentes, e vinde perante Elle: adorae ao Senhor na belleza da sua sanctidade.
30 Tremble before Him, all the earth; the world also is established that it cannot be moved.
Trema perante Elle, trema toda a terra; pois o mundo se affirmará, para que se não abale.
31 Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice; and let them say among the nations: 'The LORD reigneth.'
Alegrem-se os céus, e regozije-se a terra; e diga-se entre as nações: O Senhor reina.
32 Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; let the field exult, and all that is therein;
Brama o mar com a sua plenitude; exulte o campo com tudo o que ha n'elle.
33 Then shall the trees of the wood sing for joy, before the LORD, for He is come to judge the earth.
Então jubilarão as arvores dos bosques perante o Senhor; porquanto vem a julgar a terra.
34 O give thanks unto the LORD; for He is good; for His mercy endureth for ever.
Louvae ao Senhor, porque é bom; pois a sua benignidade dura perpetuamente.
35 And say ye: 'Save us, O God of our salvation, and gather us together and deliver us from the nations, that we may give thanks unto Thy holy name, that we may triumph in Thy praise.'
E dizei: Salva-nos, ó Deus da nossa salvação, e ajunta-nos, e livra-nos das nações; para que louvemos o teu sancto nome, e nos gloriemos do teu louvor.
36 Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, from everlasting even to everlasting. And all the people said: 'Amen,' and praised the LORD.
Louvado seja o Senhor Deus de Israel, de seculo em seculo. E todo o povo disse: Amen! e louvou ao Senhor.
37 So he left there, before the ark of the covenant of the LORD, Asaph and his brethren, to minister before the ark continually, as every day's work required;
Então deixou ali, diante da arca do concerto do Senhor, a Asaph e a seus irmãos, para ministrarem continuamente perante a arca, segundo se ordenara para cada dia.
38 and Obed-edom with their brethren, threescore and eight; Obed-edom also the son of Jedithun and Hosah to be door-keepers;
E mais a Obed-edom, com seus irmãos, sessenta e oito: a este Obed-edom, filho de Jeduthun, e a Hosa, ordenou por porteiros.
39 and Zadok the priest, and his brethren the priests, before the tabernacle of the LORD in the high place that was at Gibeon,
E mais a Zadok, o sacerdote, e a seus irmãos, os sacerdotes, diante do tabernaculo do Senhor, no alto que está em Gibeon,
40 to offer burnt-offerings unto the LORD upon the altar of burnt-offering continually morning and evening, even according to all that is written in the Law of the LORD, which He commanded unto Israel;
Para offerecerem ao Senhor os holocaustos sobre o altar dos holocaustos continuamente, pela manhã e á tarde: e isto segundo tudo o que está escripto na lei do Senhor que tinha prescripto a Israel.
41 and with them Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest that were chosen, who were mentioned by name, to give thanks to the LORD, because His mercy endureth for ever;
E com elles a Heman, e a Jeduthun, e aos mais escolhidos, que foram apontados pelos seus nomes, para louvarem ao Senhor, porque a sua benignidade dura perpetuamente.
42 and with them Heman and Jeduthun, to sound aloud with trumpets and cymbals, and with instruments for the songs of God; and the sons of Jeduthun to be at the gate.
Com elles pois estavam Heman e Jeduthun, com trombetas e cymbalos, para os que se faziam ouvir, e com instrumentos de musica de Deus: porém os filhos de Jeduthun estavam á porta.
43 And all the people departed every man to his house; and David returned to bless his house.
Então se foi todo o povo, cada um para a sua casa: e tornou David, para abençoar a sua casa.
