1 Chronicles 16
1 And they brought in the ark of God, and set it in the midst of the tent that David had pitched for it, and they offered burnt-offerings and peace-offerings before God.
੧ਸੋ ਉਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਸੰਦੂਕ ਨੂੰ ਚੁੱਕ ਲਿਆਏ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਤੰਬੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਖੜਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਮ ਦੀਆਂ ਬਲੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਸੁੱਖ-ਸਾਂਦ ਦੀਆਂ ਭੇਟਾਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਈਆਂ।
2 And when David had made an end of offering the burnt-offering and the peace-offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the LORD.
੨ਜਦ ਦਾਊਦ ਹੋਮ ਦੀਆਂ ਬਲੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਸੁੱਖ-ਸਾਂਦ ਦੀਆਂ ਭੇਟਾਂ ਚੜ੍ਹਾ ਚੁੱਕਾ, ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਸੀਸਾਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ
3 And he dealt to every one of Israel, both man and woman, to every one a loaf of bread, and a cake made in a pan, and a sweet cake.
੩ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ, ਕੀ ਪੁਰਸ਼, ਕੀ ਇਸਤਰੀ ਹਰੇਕ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ-ਇੱਕ ਰੋਟੀ, ਇੱਕ-ਇੱਕ ਟੁੱਕੜਾ ਮਾਸ ਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ-ਇੱਕ ਸੋਗੀ ਦੀ ਟਿੱਕੀ ਵੰਡ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
4 And he appointed certain of the Levites to minister before the ark of the LORD, and to celebrate and to thank and praise the LORD, the God of Israel:
੪ਉਸ ਨੇ ਲੇਵੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕਈਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਠਹਿਰਾਇਆ ਜੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਸੰਦੂਕ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਨ, ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਚਰਚਾ, ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਤਤ ਕਰਨ
5 Asaph the chief, and second to him Zechariah, Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obed-edom, and Jeiel, with psalteries and with harps; and Asaph with cymbals, sounding aloud;
੫ਅਰਥਾਤ ਆਸਾਫ਼ ਮੁਖੀਆ ਤੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਜ਼ਕਰਯਾਹ, ਯਈਏਲ, ਸ਼ਮੀਰਾਮੋਥ, ਯਹੀਏਲ, ਮੱਤਿਥਯਾਹ, ਅਲੀਆਬ, ਬਨਾਯਾਹ, ਓਬੇਦ-ਅਦੋਮ ਅਤੇ ਯਈਏਲ ਨੂੰ, ਸਿਤਾਰਾਂ ਤੇ ਬਰਬਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਆਸਾਫ਼ ਛੈਣਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਵਜਾਉਂਦਾ ਸੀ।
6 and Benaiah and Jahaziel the priests with trumpets continually, before the ark of the covenant of God.
੬ਬਨਾਯਾਹ ਤੇ ਯਹਜ਼ੀਏਲ ਜਾਜਕ ਤੁਰ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਨੇਮ ਦੇ ਸੰਦੂਕ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਸਦਾ ਵਜਾਉਂਦੇ ਸਨ।
7 Then on that day did David first ordain to give thanks unto the LORD, by the hand of Asaph and his brethren.
੭ਉਸੇ ਦਿਨ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੇ ਆਸਾਫ਼ ਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਲਈ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਦਾ ਗੀਤ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਸੌਂਪ ਦਿੱਤਾ,
8 O give thanks unto the LORD, call upon His name; make known His doings among the peoples.
੮ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕਰੋ, ਉਹ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਪੁਕਾਰੋ, ਉੱਮਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਜਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਗਟ ਕਰੋ।
9 Sing unto Him, sing praises unto Him; speak ye of all His marvellous works.
੯ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਗਾਓ, ਉਸ ਲਈ ਭਜਨ ਗਾਓ, ਉਹ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਅਚਰਜ਼ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਧਿਆਨ ਕਰੋ।
10 Glory ye in His holy name; let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.
੧੦ਉਹ ਦੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਨਾਮ ਉੱਤੇ ਮਾਣ ਕਰੋ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਖੋਜ਼ੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਅਨੰਦ ਹੋਣ।
11 Seek ye the LORD and His strength; seek His face continually.
੧੧ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਸਮਰੱਥ ਦੀ ਭਾਲ ਕਰੋ, ਸਦਾ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਦਰਸ਼ਣ ਨੂੰ ਲੋਚੋ।
12 Remember His marvellous works that He hath done, His wonders, and the judgments of His mouth;
੧੨ਉਹ ਦੇ ਅਚਰਜ਼ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ ਚੇਤੇ ਰੱਖੋ, ਉਹ ਦੇ ਅਚੰਭਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਦੇ ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ।
13 O ye seed of Israel His servant, ye children of Jacob, His chosen ones.
੧੩ਹੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਦਾਸ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਵੰਸ਼, ਹੇ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਚੁਣੇ ਹੋਏ ਹੋ,
14 He is the LORD our God; His judgments are in all the earth.
੧੪ਉਹੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸਾਡਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੈ ਸਾਰੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਨਿਆਂ ਹਨ।
15 Remember His covenant for ever, the word which He commanded to a thousand generations;
੧੫ਉਹ ਦਾ ਨੇਮ ਸਦਾ ਤੱਕ ਚੇਤੇ ਰੱਖੋ, ਉਸ ਬਚਨ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਹ ਦਾ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਹੁਕਮ ਕੀਤਾ,
16 The covenant which He made with Abraham, and His oath unto Isaac;
੧੬ਜਿਹੜਾ ਉਹ ਨੇ ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਨਾਲ ਬੰਨ੍ਹਿਆ, ਅਤੇ ਇਸਹਾਕ ਨਾਲ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸਹੁੰ ਖਾਧੀ,
17 And He established it unto Jacob for a statute, to Israel for an everlasting covenant;
੧੭ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਲਈ ਬਿਧੀ ਕਰਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਲਈ ਅਨੰਤ ਨੇਮ ਕਰਕੇ ਦ੍ਰਿੜ੍ਹ ਕੀਤਾ।
18 Saying: 'Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance.'
੧੮ਅਤੇ ਆਖਿਆ, ਮੈਂ ਕਨਾਨ ਦੇਸ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਮਿਲਖ਼ ਦਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਹੈ,
19 When ye were but a few men in number, yea, very few, and sojourners in it,
੧੯ਜਦ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਥੋੜੇ ਸਗੋਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਥੋੜੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਰਦੇਸੀ ਸੀ,
20 And when they went about from nation to nation, and from one kingdom to another people,
੨੦ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਕੌਮ ਤੋਂ ਕੌਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਰਾਜ ਤੋਂ ਦੂਜੀ ਉੱਮਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਫਿਰਦੇ ਰਹੇ।
21 He suffered no man to do them wrong, yea, for their sake He reproved kings:
੨੧ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਨ੍ਹੇਰ ਨਾ ਕਰਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸਗੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਝਿੜਕਿਆ,
22 'Touch not Mine anointed ones, and do My prophets no harm.'
੨੨ਕਿ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਸਹ ਕੀਤੇ ਹੋਇਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਛੂਹੋ, ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਬੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਨਾ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਓ।
23 Sing unto the LORD, all the earth; proclaim His salvation from day to day.
੨੩ਹੇ ਸਾਰੀ ਸਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਲਈ ਗਾਓ, ਉਸ ਦੀ ਮੁਕਤੀ ਦਾ ਦਿਨੋਂ-ਦਿਨ ਪਰਚਾਰ ਕਰੋ।
24 Declare His glory among the nations, His marvellous works among all the peoples.
੨੪ਕੌਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਰਤਾਪ ਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅਚਰਜ਼ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਵਰਣਨ ਕਰੋ।
25 For great is the LORD, and highly to be praised; He also is to be feared above all gods.
੨੫ਇਸ ਲਈ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮਹਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਅੱਤ ਉਸਤਤ ਜੋਗ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਭੈਅ ਦਾਇਕ ਹੈ।
26 For all the gods of the peoples are things of nought; but the LORD made the heavens.
੨੬ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਬੁੱਤ ਹੀ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਬਣਾਏ।
27 Honour and majesty are before Him; strength and gladness are in His place.
੨੭ਮਾਣ ਅਤੇ ਉਪਮਾ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਹਜ਼ੂਰ ਹਨ, ਸਮਰੱਥਾ ਅਤੇ ਅਨੰਦਤਾਈ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਨ।
28 Ascribe unto the LORD, ye kindreds of the peoples, ascribe unto the LORD glory and strength.
੨੮ਹੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੁਲੋ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਨੋ, ਹਾਂ ਪਰਤਾਪ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਰੱਥਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਮੰਨੋ,
29 Ascribe unto the LORD the glory due unto His name; bring an offering, and come before Him; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.
੨੯ਪਰਤਾਪ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਮੰਨੋ, ਭੇਟਾਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਓ, ਪਵਿੱਤਰਤਾਈ ਦੀ ਸਜਾਵਟ ਨਾਲ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕੋ।
30 Tremble before Him, all the earth; the world also is established that it cannot be moved.
੩੦ਹੇ ਸਾਰੀ ਸਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਨਮੁਖ ਥਰ-ਥਰ ਕਰੋ ਜਗਤ ਤਾਂ ਕਾਇਮ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਿੱਲੇਗਾ।
31 Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice; and let them say among the nations: 'The LORD reigneth.'
੩੧ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਅਨੰਦ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਮਨਾਵੇ, ਅਤੇ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੋਕ ਆਖਣ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਰਾਜ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
32 Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; let the field exult, and all that is therein;
੩੨ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਭਰਪੂਰੀ ਗਰਜੇ, ਮੈਦਾਨ ਤੇ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ ਬਾਗ਼-ਬਾਗ਼ ਹੋਵੇ,
33 Then shall the trees of the wood sing for joy, before the LORD, for He is come to judge the earth.
੩੩ਤਾਂ ਬਣ ਦੇ ਰੁੱਖ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਹਜ਼ੂਰ ਜੈਕਾਰਾ ਗਜਾਉਣਗੇ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਨਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
34 O give thanks unto the LORD; for He is good; for His mercy endureth for ever.
੩੪ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕਰੋ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਭਲਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਦਯਾ ਸਦਾ ਤੱਕ ਹੈ।
35 And say ye: 'Save us, O God of our salvation, and gather us together and deliver us from the nations, that we may give thanks unto Thy holy name, that we may triumph in Thy praise.'
੩੫ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਖੋ, ਹੇ ਸਾਡੀ ਮੁਕਤੀ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਸਾਨੂੰ ਬਚਾ, ਅਤੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕਰ ਤੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਛੁਡਾ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਅਸੀਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕਰੀਏ, ਤੇਰੀ ਉਸਤਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਫੁੱਲ ਫੁੱਲ ਬਹੀਏ।
36 Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, from everlasting even to everlasting. And all the people said: 'Amen,' and praised the LORD.
੩੬ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਆਦ ਤੋਂ ਅੰਤ ਤੱਕ ਮੁਬਾਰਕ ਹੋਵੇ। ਤੇ ਸਾਰੀ ਪਰਜਾ ਨੇ “ਆਮੀਨ” ਆਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਉਸਤਤ ਕੀਤੀ।
37 So he left there, before the ark of the covenant of the LORD, Asaph and his brethren, to minister before the ark continually, as every day's work required;
੩੭ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉੱਥੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਨੇਮ ਦੇ ਸੰਦੂਕ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਆਸਾਫ਼ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡਿਆ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਹਰ ਰੋਜ਼ ਦੇ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਨ
38 and Obed-edom with their brethren, threescore and eight; Obed-edom also the son of Jedithun and Hosah to be door-keepers;
੩੮ਅਤੇ ਓਬੋਦ ਅਦੋਮ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਓਬੇਦ-ਅਦੋਮ ਯਦੂਥੂਨ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਸਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਜੋ ਅਠਾਹਟ ਸਨ, ਦਰਬਾਨ ਹੋਣ ਲਈ
39 and Zadok the priest, and his brethren the priests, before the tabernacle of the LORD in the high place that was at Gibeon,
੩੯ਨਾਲੇ ਸਾਦੋਕ ਜਾਜਕ ਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਜਾਜਕ ਸਨ, ਤਾਂ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਡੇਰੇ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਗਿਬਓਨ ਦੇ ਉੱਚੇ ਥਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਸੀ,
40 to offer burnt-offerings unto the LORD upon the altar of burnt-offering continually morning and evening, even according to all that is written in the Law of the LORD, which He commanded unto Israel;
੪੦ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਬਿਵਸਥਾ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਲਿਖੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੂੰ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ, ਹਰ ਰੋਜ਼ ਸਵੇਰ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਮ ਦੀ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਹੋਮ ਦੀਆਂ ਬਲੀਆਂ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਉਣ
41 and with them Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest that were chosen, who were mentioned by name, to give thanks to the LORD, because His mercy endureth for ever;
੪੧ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੇਮਾਨ ਤੇ ਯਦੂਥੂਨ ਤੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਚੁਣੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਵਰਨਣ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕਰਨ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਦਯਾ ਸਦਾ ਲਈ ਹੈ
42 and with them Heman and Jeduthun, to sound aloud with trumpets and cymbals, and with instruments for the songs of God; and the sons of Jeduthun to be at the gate.
੪੨ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੇਮਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਯਦੂਥੂਨ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਵਜਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਤੁਰ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਛੈਣੇ ਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਵਾਜੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਯਦੂਥੂਨ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦਰਬਾਨ ਸਨ
43 And all the people departed every man to his house; and David returned to bless his house.
੪੩ਤਾਂ ਸਭ ਲੋਕ ਆਪੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਰ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਦਾਊਦ ਮੁੜ ਪਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਕਿ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਅਸੀਸ ਦੇਵੇ।
