1 Chronicles 15
1 And David made him houses in the city of David; and he prepared a place for the ark of God, and pitched for it a tent.
És készített magának házakat Dávid városában és elkészített egy helyet az Isten ládájának és sátort ütött föl számára.
2 Then David said: 'None ought to carry the ark of God but the Levites; for them hath the LORD chosen to carry the ark of the LORD, and to minister unto Him for ever.'
Akkor mondta Dávid: Ne vigye más az Isten ládáját, csakis a leviták, mert őket választotta az Örökkévaló, hogy vigyék az Örökkévaló ládáját s hogy szolgálják őt örökre.
3 And David assembled all Israel at Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the LORD unto its place, which he had prepared for it.
És egybegyűjtötte Dávid egész Izraelt Jeruzsálembe, hogy felvigyék az Örökkévaló ládáját a helyére, melyet elkészített számára.
4 And David gathered together the sons of Aaron, and the Levites;
És egybehívta Dávid Áron fiait s a levitákat:
5 of the sons of Kohath: Uriel the chief, and his brethren a hundred and twenty;
Kehát fiai közül: Úriélt, a vezért és testvéreit, százhúszat.
6 of the sons of Merari: Asaiah the chief, and his brethren two hundred and twenty;
Merári fiai közül: Aszáját, a vezért és testvéreit kétszázhúszat.
7 of the sons of Gershom: Joel the chief, and his brethren a hundred and thirty;
Gérsóm fiai közül: Jóélt, a vezért és testvéreit, százharmincat.
8 of the sons of Elizaphan: Shemaiah the chief, and his brethren two hundred;
Elícáfán fiai közül: Semáját, a vezért és testvéreit, kétszázat.
9 of the sons of Hebron: Eliel the chief, and his brethren fourscore;
Chebrón fiai közül: Elíélt, a vezért és testvéreit, nyolcvanat.
10 of the sons of Uzziel: Amminadab the chief, and his brethren a hundred and twelve.
Úzziél fiai közül: Amminádábot, a vezért és testvéreit, száztizenkettőt.
11 And David called for Zadok and Abiathar the priests, and for the Levites, for Uriel, Asaiah, and Joel, Shemaiah, and Eliel, and Amminadab,
És hívta Dávid Cádókot és Ebjátárt, a papokat, meg a levitákat: Úriélt, Aszáját, Jóélt, Semáját, Elíélt és Ammínádábot.
12 and said unto them: 'Ye are the heads of the fathers' houses of the Levites; sanctify yourselves, both ye and your brethren, that ye may bring up the ark of the LORD, the God of Israel, unto the place that I have prepared for it.
És mondta nekik: Ti, a leviták atyai házainak fejei, szenteljétek meg magatokat és testvéreiteket és hozzátok fel az Örökkévalónak, Izrael Istenének ládáját oda, ahová készítettem számára.
13 For because ye bore it not at the first, the LORD our God made a breach upon us, for that we sought Him not according to the ordinance.'
Mert mivel az első ízben nem ti voltatok, rést tört az Örökkévaló, ami Istenünk, rajtunk, mert nem kerestük őt a törvény szerint.
14 So the priests and the Levites sanctified themselves to bring up the ark of the LORD, the God of Israel.
És megszentelték magukat a papok és a leviták, hogy felhozhassák az Örökkévalónak, Izrael Istenének ládáját.
15 And the children of the Levites bore the ark of God upon their shoulders with the bars thereon, as Moses commanded according to the word of the LORD.
És vitték a leviták fiai az Isten ládáját, amint megparancsolta Mózes az Örökkévaló igéje szerint, vállukon, a rajtuk levő rudakkal.
16 And David spoke to the chief of the Levites to appoint their brethren the singers, with instruments of music, psalteries and harps and cymbals, sounding aloud and lifting up the voice with joy.
És mondta Dávid a leviták vezéreinek, hogy állítsák fel testvéreiket, az énekeseket hangszerekkel: lantokkal, hárfákkal és cimbalmokkal, hallatva és fölemelve hangjukat örömmel.
17 So the Levites appointed Heman the son of Joel; and of his brethren, Asaph the son of Berechiah; and of the sons of Merari their brethren, Ethan the son of Kushaiah;
És fölállították a leviták Hémánt, Jóél fiát, és testvérei közül Ászáfot, Berekhjáhú fiát és Merári fiai, az ő testvéreik közül Étánt, Kúsájáhú fiát.
18 and with them their brethren of the second degree, Zechariah, Ben, and Jaaziel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Unni, Eliab, and Benaiah, and Maaseiah, and Mattithiah, and Eliphalehu, and Mikneiah, and Obed-edom, and Jeiel, the doorkeepers.
És velük voltak testvéreik a másodrenden levők: Zekharjáhú, Bén, Jáaziél, Semírámót, Jechíél, Unní, Elíáb, Benájáhú, Máaszéjáhú, Mattitjáhú, Elífeléhú, Miknéjáhú, Óbéd-Edóm és Jeíél a kapuőrök.
19 So the singers, Heman, Asaph, and Ethan, were appointed, with cymbals of brass to sound aloud;
Az énekesek pedig Hémán, Ászáf és Étán, hangot hallatók rézcimbalmokkal.
20 and Zechariah, and Aziel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Unni, and Eliab, and Maaseiah, and Benaiah, with psalteries set to Alamoth;
És Zekharja, Azíél, Semírámót, Jechíél, Unni, Elíáb, Máaszéjáhú és Benájáhú, lantokkal. Alámót szerint.
21 and Mattithiah, and Eliphalehu, and Mikneiahu, and Obed-edom, and Jeiel, and Azaziah, with harps on the Sheminith, to lead.
És Mattitjahú, Elífeléhú, Miknéjáhú, Óbéd-Edóm, Jeiél és Azazjáhú hárfákkal, a nyolcason vezetve az éneket.
22 And Chenaniah, chief of the Levites, was over the song; he was master in the song, because he was skilful.
Kenanjáhú pedig a leviták vezére a vivésben, vezérelte a vivést, mert hozzáértő volt.
23 And Berechiah and Elkanah were door-keepers for the ark.
És Berekhja, meg Elkána kapuőrök a ládánál.
24 And Shebaniah, and Joshaphat, and Nethanel, and Amasai, and Zechariah, and Benaiah, and Eliezer, the priests, did blow with the trumpets before the ark of God; and Obed-edom and Jehiah were doorkeepers for the ark.
És Sebanjáhú, Jósáfát, Netanél, Amászaj, Zekharjáhú, Benájáhú és Elíézer, a papok trombitáltak a trombitákon az Isten ládája előtt; s Óbéd-Edóm, meg Jechíja kapuőrök a ládánál.
25 So David, and the elders of Israel, and the captains over thousands, went to bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD out of the house of Obed-edom with joy.
És Dávid meg Izrael vénei és az ezrek tisztjei voltak azok, akik mentek, hogy felhozzák az Örökkévaló szövetségének ládáját Óbéd-Edóm házából, örömmel.
26 And it came to pass, when God helped the Levites that bore the ark of the covenant of the LORD, that they sacrificed seven bullocks and seven rams.
És volt, midőn Isten megsegítette a levitákat, az Örökkévaló szövetsége ládájának vivőit, akkor áldoztak hét tulkot és hét kost.
27 And David was clothed with a robe of fine linen, and all the Levites that bore the ark, and the singers, and Chenaniah the master of the singers in the song; and David had upon him an ephod of linen.
Dávid pedig fel volt öltözve byssus köpenybe, s úgy mind a leviták, akik a ládát vitték, meg az énekesek és Kenanja a vivésnek vezére az énekeseknél; és Dávidon len-éfód volt.
28 Thus all Israel brought up the ark of the covenant of the LORD with shouting, and with sound of the horn, and with trumpets, and with cymbals, sounding aloud with psalteries and harps.
És egész Izrael fölvitte az Örökkévaló szövetségének ládáját riadással meg harsonaszóval meg trombitákkal és cimbalmokkal, hangot hallatva, lantokkal és hárfákkal.
29 And it came to pass, as the ark of the covenant of the LORD came to the city of David, that Michal the daughter of Saul looked out at the window, and saw king David dancing and making merry; and she despised him in her heart.
És midőn az Örökkévaló szövetségének ládája eljutott Dávid városához, Míkhál, Sául leánya letekintett az ablakon és látta Dávid királyt, amint táncol és játszadozik; ekkor lenézte őt szívében.
