< Titus 2 >

1 BUT speak thou the things which become sound doctrine:
Shin neeni suure timirttiya phalqqonna timirtte tamaarssanaw bessees.
2 that the elder men be sober, grave, discreet, sound in faith, in love, in patience.
Cima addeti banttana haareyssata, woppu gidayssata, bonchchettidayssata, ammanon, siiqoninne dandda7an, mino gidana mela zora.
3 That the elder women also be sacredly becoming in their behaviour, not slanderers, not enslaved by much wine, teachers of propriety;
Hessadakka, cima maccasay bantta duussan geeshshata, zigironnayssata, woyne ushshan haarettonnayssatanne lo77obaa tamaarsseyssata gidana mela tamaarssa.
4 that they instruct the young women to be discreet, to love their husbands, to love their children,
Entti hessada hanikko yalaga maccasay bantta azinatanne bantta nayta siiqana mela tamaarssanaw dandda7osona.
5 to be sober, domestic, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not ill reported of.
Xoossaa qaalay borettonna mela banttana haareyssata, geeshshata, bantta son ootheyssata, keehatanne bantta azinatas kiitetteyssata gidana mela yalaga maccasaa tamaarssona.
6 The younger men in like manner exhort to be sober minded.
Hessadakka, yalaga addati banttana haarana mela zora.
7 In all things approving thyself as a pattern of good works: in thy teaching, shewing integrity, gravity, incorruptibility,
Neeni ne huu7en lo77o ooso ubban enttaw leemiso gida. Neeni ne timirttiyan eqqidayssanne ammanettidayssa gida.
8 sound discourse, incapable of confutation; that he who is in opposition may be confounded, having nothing faulty to say of you.
Nu morkketi nuna zigiranaw gaasoyiyabay enttaw dhayin entti yeellatana mela neeni borettonna lo77o oda odetta.
9 Let servants be subject to their own masters, in all things to be agreeable to them; not contradicting;
Aylleti ubbaban bantta godatas kiitettana mela entta ufayssana melanne enttara palamonna mela zora.
10 not embezzling their property, but demonstrating all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.
Entti bantta godatappe kaysotoppo. Hessika, nuna ashshiya Xoossaa timirttey, ubba ogen dosettidayssa gidana mela bantta oothiya oosuwan ammanetteyssata gideyssa bessana mela entta zora.
11 For the grace of God which leads to salvation hath appeared unto all men,
Ase ashshiya Xoossaa aadho keehatethay asa ubbaas qonccis.
12 instructing us, that denying ungodliness and worldly affections, we should live soberly and righteously, and godly in the present day; (aiōn g165)
He aadho keehatethay, nu nagaranne ha alamiya amuwaa aggidi, ha wodiyan nuna haaridi, tuma ayyaana de7uwaninne xillotethan daana mela nuna tamaarssees. (aiōn g165)
13 expecting the blessed hope, and glorious appearing of our great God and Saviour Jesus Christ;
Nuuni anjjettida ufayssaa gidida gita Xoossaanne nuna ashshiya Yesuus Kiristtoosa bonchcho qonccethaa naagoos.
14 who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify to himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
Iita ooso ubbaafe nuna wozanawunne lo77obaa oothanaw amottiya ba geeshsha asi kessanaw nu gisho bana aathi immis.
15 These things speak and enjoin, and reprove with all authority. Let no man despise thee.
Neeni hayssa tamaarssa; kumetha maatan zora, seera; oonikka nena kadhoppo.
