< Romans 5 >

1 BEING justified therefore by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
Afei a ɛnam gyidie so ama Onyankopɔn abu yɛn bem no, yɛnam Awurade Yesu Kristo so anya Onyankopɔn asomdwoeɛ.
2 by whom also we have had an introduction through faith into this grace in which we have stood fast, and are rejoicing in hope of the glory of God.
Ɔnam gyidie so de yɛn aba Onyankopɔn adom a yɛte mu seesei no mu. Yɛn ani gye wɔ anidasoɔ mu sɛ yɛbɛnya Onyankopɔn anim animuonyam.
3 And not only so, but we glory also in tribulations: knowing that tribulation produceth patience;
Afei, yɛn haw mu nso, yɛn ani gye, ɛfiri sɛ, yɛnim sɛ ɔhaw de boasetɔ ba,
4 and patience, proof; and proof, hope;
na boasetɔ de osuahunu ba, ɛnna osuahunu de anidasoɔ ba.
5 and hope doth not make us ashamed; because the love of God is poured out into our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given to us.
Saa anidasoɔ yi renni yɛn hwammɔ, ɛfiri sɛ, Onyankopɔn nam Honhom Kronkron a ɛyɛ nʼakyɛdeɛ a ɔde ama yɛn no so ahwie ne dɔ agu yɛn akoma mu.
6 For even then when we were without strength, Christ died in due time for the ungodly.
Ɛberɛ a ɛsɛ mu, ɛberɛ a yɛyɛ mmerɛ no, Kristo wu maa amumuyɛfoɔ.
7 For scarcely for a righteous person will any one die: though for a good man perhaps some one might even dare to die.
Na ɛbɛyɛ den sɛ obi bɛwu ama deɛ ɔyɛ onipa tenenee mpo, na deɛ ɔyɛ onipa pa no deɛ, ebia obi bɛsi ne bo awu ama no.
8 But God commendeth his own love towards us, that, though we were yet sinners, Christ died in our stead.
Nanso, Onyankopɔn da ne dɔ adi wɔ yei mu sɛ; ɛberɛ a yɛyɛ nnebɔneyɛfoɔ no, Kristo wu maa yɛn.
9 Therefore much more, being justified already by his blood, shall we be saved by him from wrath.
Esiane sɛ wɔnam ne mogya no so abu yɛn bem no enti, wɔnam ne so bɛgye yɛn afiri Onyankopɔn abufuhyeɛ mu.
10 For if, being enemies, we have been reconciled to God by the death of his son, much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved by his life.
Na sɛ ɛberɛ a yɛyɛ atamfoɔ mpo Onyankopɔn de ne Ba no wuo yɛɛ mpatadeɛ maa yɛn a, saa mmerɛ yi a yɛne Onyankopɔn wɔ ayɔnkofa yi deɛ, yɛnim sɛ ɔnam ne Ba no so bɛgye yɛn nkwa.
11 And not so only, but we exult in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom already we have received reconciliation.
Ɛnyɛ yei nko, mmom yɛnam AWURADE Yesu Kristo a ne mu na yɛanya mpata no gye yɛn ani wɔ Onyankopɔn mu.
12 Therefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and by sin death; even so death passed into all men through him, in whom all have sinned.
Bɔne nam onipa baako so na ɛbaa ewiase, na ne bɔne no de owuo baeɛ. Ɛno enti owuo trɛ baa nnipa nyinaa so, ɛfiri sɛ, wɔn nyinaa yɛɛ bɔne.
13 For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed if there be no law.
Na bɔne wɔ hɔ ansa na wɔde Mmara no reba. Nanso, mmara nni hɔ a, wɔmmu bɔne ho akonta.
14 But death reigned from Adam unto Moses, even over those who have not sinned after the similitude of the transgression of Adam, who is a type of him that was to come.
Nanso, ɛfiri Adam ɛberɛ so kɔsi Mose ɛberɛ so no, owuo dii nnipa nyinaa so kɔsii wɔn mpo a wɔanyɛ bɔne, sɛdeɛ Adam deɛ ɔyɛɛ asoɔden kyerɛɛ Onyankopɔn no. Ɛkwan bi so no, Adam yɛ Kristo, deɛ na ɔrebɛba no, sɛso.
15 But not as the transgression, so also is the gift. For if by the transgression of one the many became dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is in that one man, Christ Jesus, hath abounded unto many.
Nanso, wɔn baanu no nyinaa nyɛ pɛ, ɛfiri sɛ, Onyankopɔn akyɛdeɛ a ɔde kyɛ kwa no nte sɛ Adam bɔne no. Ɛyɛ nokorɛ sɛ ɛsiane saa onipa baako no bɔne enti nnipa pii wuwuiɛ. Nanso, Onyankopɔn adom no dɔɔso; ɛno enti na ɔnam onipa baako a ɔne Yesu Kristo adom so dom bebree kwa no.
16 And the gift is not as for one who sinned: for the judgment indeed came by one to condemnation, but the free gift leads to justification from many offences.
Bio, Onyankopɔn akyɛdeɛ no nte sɛ nsunsuansoɔ a ɛfiri onipa baako bɔne mu baeɛ no. Atemmuo no nam bɔne baako so de afɔbuo baeɛ, nanso bɔne bebree akyi no, akyɛdeɛ no de bembuo baeɛ.
17 For if by the offence of one, death reigned by that one; much more they who receive the abundance of grace, and of the gift of righteousness, shall reign in life by one, Christ Jesus.
Sɛ ɛnam onipa baako bɔne so ɛna owuo dii ɔhene a, ɛnneɛ wɔn a wɔnya adom mmorosoɔ ne tenenee akyɛdeɛ no nam onipa baako a ɔne Yesu Kristo so bɛdi hene wɔ nkwa mu.
18 Well then, as by the offence of one, judgment issued against all men unto condemnation; so also by the righteousness of one, the gift came to all men for justification unto life.
Enti sɛdeɛ onipa baako pɛ bɔne a ɔyɛeɛ no ma wɔbuu nnipa nyinaa fɔ no, saa ara nso na tenenee adeyɛ baako maa wɔbuu nnipa nyinaa bem, na yɛnyaa nkwa.
19 For as by the disobedience of one man the many were constituted sinners; so also by the obedience of one shall the many be constituted righteous.
Na sɛdeɛ ɛnam ɔbaakofoɔ asoɔden so enti nnipa nyinaa yɛɛ nnebɔneyɛfoɔ no, saa ara nso na onipa baako setie enti, wɔbɛyɛ bebree teneneefoɔ.
20 But the law was introduced, that the offence might be more abundant. But where sin had abounded, there hath grace abounded more exceedingly:
Wɔyɛɛ mmara no, sɛdeɛ ɛbɛyɛ a bɔne bɛda adi pefee; nanso mpɛn dodoɔ a bɔne dɔɔso no, adom no dɔɔso mmoroso,
21 that as sin had reigned by death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto life eternal by Jesus Christ our Lord. (aiōnios g166)
enti sɛdeɛ bɔne di nnipa so de wɔn kɔ owuo mu no, saa ara na adom no nam tenenee so de daa nkwa a ɛwɔ Yesu Kristo, yɛn AWURADE mu bɛba. (aiōnios g166)
