Philippians 4
1 WHEREFORE, my brethren, beloved, and very dear to me, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, O beloved.
অতএব, আমার প্রিয় ভাইবোন, তোমাদের, যাদের আমি ভালোবাসি ও যাদের একান্তভাবে পেতে চাই, তোমরাই আমার আনন্দ ও মুকুট। প্রিয় বন্ধুরা, প্রভুতে তোমরা এভাবেই অবিচল থাকো।
2 I beseech Euodias, and I beseech Syntiche to be of one mind in the Lord.
আমি ইবদিয়াকে অনুনয় করছি এবং সুন্তুখীকেও অনুনয় করছি, তারা যেন প্রভুতে সহমত হয়।
3 And I beseech thee also, my genuine associate, assist those women who laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and my other fellow-labourers, whose names are in the book of life.
আর আমার অনুগত সহকর্মী, আমি তোমাকেও বলছি, এই মহিলাদের সাহায্য করো। সুসমাচারের জন্য তারা ক্লীমেন্ত এবং আমার অন্যান্য সহকর্মীদের পাশে থেকে কঠোর পরিশ্রম করেছে। তাদের নাম জীবনপুস্তকে লেখা আছে।
4 Rejoice in the Lord always; again I say, Rejoice.
তোমরা প্রভুতে সবসময় আনন্দ করো। আমি আবার বলব, আনন্দ করো।
5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.
তোমাদের শান্তভাব সবার কাছে প্রত্যক্ষ হোক। প্রভু শীঘ্রই আসছেন।
6 Be not anxious about any thing, but in every case by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your petitions be made known unto God.
কোনো বিষয়েই উৎকণ্ঠিত হোয়ো না, কিন্তু সব বিষয়ে প্রার্থনা ও মিনতি দ্বারা ধন্যবাদের সঙ্গে ঈশ্বরের কাছে তোমাদের সব অনুরোধ জানাও।
7 And the peace of God which surpasseth all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
এতে সব বোধবুদ্ধির অতীত ঈশ্বরের শান্তি, খ্রীষ্ট যীশুতে তোমাদের অন্তর ও মন রক্ষা করবে।
8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are serious, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are amiable, whatsoever things are laudable, if there be any virtue, or any thing praise-worthy, pay attention to these things.
অবশেষে বলি, ভাইবোনেরা, যা কিছু সত্য, যা কিছু মহান, যা কিছু যথার্থ, যা কিছু বিশুদ্ধ, যা কিছু আদরণীয়, যা কিছু আকর্ষণীয়—যদি কোনো কিছু উৎকৃষ্ট বা প্রশংসার যোগ্য হয়—তোমরা সেই সমস্ত বিষয়ের চিন্তা করো।
9 Whatsoever things also ye have learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, these practise, and the God of peace shall be with you.
তোমরা আমার কাছ থেকে যা শিক্ষা পেয়েছ, যা কিছু পেয়েছ, যা কিছু শুনেছ বা আমার মধ্যে দেখেছ, সেসব অনুশীলন করো। তাহলে শান্তির ঈশ্বর তোমাদের সঙ্গে অবস্থিতি করবেন।
10 Now I rejoiced greatly in the Lord, that now once more your thoughtful attention about me hath again sprung up, to which also your mind had been disposed, but ye had not found the opportunity.
প্রভুতে আমি পরম আনন্দ করি যে, অবশেষে তোমরা আমার সম্বন্ধে চিন্তা করতে নতুন উৎসাহ পেয়েছ। সত্যিই, তোমাদের চিন্তা ছিল, কিন্তু তা দেখানোর সুযোগ তোমাদের ছিল না।
11 Not that I mention this with a view to my indigence: for I have learned in whatever circumstances I am, to be content.
আমি অভাবগ্রস্ত বলেই যে একথা তোমাদের বলছি, তা নয়। কারণ যে কোনো পরিস্থিতিতেই আমি সন্তুষ্ট থাকার শিক্ষা লাভ করেছি।
12 I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound; in every state and in all situations I am instructed either to be full or famishing, either to enjoy abundance, or to suffer want:
অভাব কী, তা আমি জানি এবং প্রাচুর্য কী, তাও আমি জানি। যে কোনো এবং প্রত্যেকটি পরিস্থিতিতে আমি সন্তুষ্ট থাকার গোপন রহস্য শিখেছি—ভালোভাবে উদরপূর্তি করার বা ক্ষুধার্ত থাকার, প্রাচুর্যের মধ্যে থাকার, কিংবা অনটনে থাকার।
13 I am enabled for all things by Christ who strengtheneth me.
যিনি আমাকে শক্তি দান করেন, তাঁর মাধ্যমে আমি সবকিছুই করতে পারি।
14 Nevertheless ye have done nobly in your communications to me during my affliction.
তবুও তোমরা আমার দুঃখকষ্টের অংশীদার হয়ে ভালোই করেছ।
15 But know also, Philippians, that at my first preaching the gospel, when I went from Macedonia, no church communicated to me in the way of giving and receiving but ye alone.
তা ছাড়াও, তোমরা ফিলিপীয়েরা তো জানো, তোমাদের সুসমাচার-পরিচিতি লাভের প্রাথমিক পর্বে আমি যখন ম্যাসিডোনিয়া ছেড়ে যাত্রা করেছিলাম, তখন তোমরা ছাড়া আর কোনো মণ্ডলী দেওয়া-নেওয়ার বিষয়ে আমার সহভাগী হয়নি।
16 For in Thessalonica also ye sent me once, yea twice, a supply for my want.
এমনকি, থিষলনিকায় থাকার সময়ে আমার অভাব পূরণের জন্য তোমরা বারবার আমাকে সাহায্য পাঠিয়েছিলে।
17 Not that I am anxious for a gift; but I am anxious to see fruit abounding on your account.
আমি যে দান গ্রহণের জন্য আগ্রহী, তা নয়, বরং আমার দৃষ্টি তোমাদের ভবিষ্যতের সঞ্চয়ের দিকে।
18 But I have now all things, and abound: I am full, having received from Epaphroditus your bounty, an odour of sweet smell, an acceptable sacrifice, well pleasing to God.
আমি পূর্ণমাত্রায় সবকিছু পেয়েছি, এমনকি, তার চেয়েও বেশি পেয়েছি; বর্তমানে ইপাফ্রদীতের মাধ্যমে পাঠানো তোমাদের দান পর্যাপ্ত পরিমাণে আমাকে দেওয়া হয়েছে। সেই দান সুরভিত অর্ঘ্যস্বরূপ, ঈশ্বরের প্রীতিজনক গ্রহণযোগ্য বলি।
19 But my God will fully supply all your want, according to his riches in glory, by Christ Jesus.
আর আমার ঈশ্বর খ্রীষ্ট যীশুতে স্থিত তাঁর গৌরবময় ধন অনুযায়ী তোমাদের সব প্রয়োজন পূর্ণরূপে মিটিয়ে দেবেন।
আমাদের ঈশ্বর ও পিতার প্রতি মহিমা যুগে যুগে চিরকাল হোক। আমেন। (aiōn g165)
21 Salute every saint in Christ Jesus. The brethren that are with me salute you.
খ্রীষ্ট যীশুতে সমস্ত পবিত্রগণকে শুভেচ্ছা জানিয়ো। আমার সঙ্গী ভাইয়েরা তোমাদের শুভেচ্ছা জানাচ্ছেন।
22 All the saints salute you, specially those who are of Caesar’s household.
সমস্ত পবিত্রগণ, বিশেষ করে কৈসরের পরিজনেরা, তোমাদের শুভেচ্ছা জানাচ্ছেন।
23 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. Unto the Philippians, written from Rome by Epaphroditus.
প্রভু যীশু খ্রীষ্টের অনুগ্রহ তোমাদের আত্মার সহবর্তী হোক। আমেন।
