< Matthew 20 >

1 FOR the kingdom of heaven is like a man, the master of a family, who went out at break of day, to hire labourers into his vineyard.
Hwa huje uumwene wa humwanya ulengene yalinugunda yadamuye ishandawe napwi, awale aweshe awawomba mbombo huugonda gwankwe lwa mizabibu.
2 And when he had agreed with the labourers at a denarius a day, he sent them into the vineyard.
Baada ya huentehana na awawomba mbombo dinari yeka hwisiku, ahawatuma awale hugonda gwankwe gwa mizabibu.
3 And going out about the third hour, he saw others standing in the market place unemployed.
Ahawalo antele lwagashila amasala gatatu eshi ahawalola awawomba mbombo awamwao wahahemeleye bila mbombo husokoni.
4 And he said to them, Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatever is equitable, I will give it you. So they went.
Awawozyo, 'Amwe walaji hugonda wa mizabibu, hahonti hahali sawa imbalahuwapele.' Newowahavyala awombe imbombo.
5 Again going out, about the sixth and ninth hour, he did after the same manner.
Ahawala nantele lwagashila amasala sita ahawomba sheesho na masala tisa.
6 But about the eleventh hour, going out, he found others standing unemployed, and saith unto them, Why stand ye here all the day idle?
Ahawalilo awhamwao nantele mumasala gakumi na moja, akhawala ahawanga awantu awhamwao wemeleye bila mbombo. Ahawawozya, 'Shonu mwemeleye epa bila mbombo yuyonti husiku lyonti?
7 They say unto him, Because no man hath hired us. He saith to them, Go ye also into the vineyard; and whatever is equitable, ye shall receive.
Wahamuonzya aje numo umuntu wowonti yatipelile imbombo. Ahawawozya, 'Amwe namwe walanji hugonda ugwi mizabibu.'
8 Now when the evening came, the master of the vineyard said to his overseer, Call the labourers, and give them their wages, beginning from the last to the first.
Amasala giliewela lwagaia, umwenesho gonda gwi mizabibu ahamozya umwemelizi wakwe, wakwunzye awawomba mbombo uwasombe umshahala, uyande uwa mwisho mpaka uwahwande.'
9 And when they came, who began about the eleventh hour, they received each a denarius.
Lwawafiha wala wamasala ga kumi na moja, shilaweka ahaposheye idinari.
10 But when the first came, they expected that they should receive more; and they also received every man a denarius.
Lwawafiha owawomba mbombo awagwande wahasewele aje wazaposheye dinari yeka kila muntu.
11 But when they received it, they murmured against the master of the family:
Lwawaposhela amalipo gao, waha nalamishila umwenesho gonda.
12 saying, These last have wrought only a single hour, and thou hast put them on an equality with us, who have borne the burden and heat of the day.
Wahayanga, 'Ewa awawomba mbombo wa mwisho wejile isala lyenka wene kaliko awombe imbombo, lakini atifananisizye nate, ate linyumoye izigo hwisiku lyonti, nawine ni lyonto.'
13 But he answering, said to one of them, Friend, I do thee no injustice; did I not agree with thee for a denarius?
Eshi umwenesho goda ahajibu weka wao, 'Kundanu, sagaimbombile ijambo lwiwi. Je! sagalahentehene nane idinari yeka?
14 Take then thine own, and begone: I chuse to give to this last even as to thee.
Ega hahali haho halali sogolaga. Ane ishiye huwapele ewa awawomba mbombo wimbagwelezizye humwisho sawa sawa nawe.
15 Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with my own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good?
Je! Sagagolosu huliwe awombe shihwanza ni maliyane? Au ilisolyaho li wiwi aje ane indi minza?
16 Thus shall the last be first, and the first last; for many are called, but the elect are few.
Eshi uwamwisho anzawe wa hwande na uwahwande azawe wa humwisho.”
17 And Jesus going up to Jerusalem, took his twelve disciples aside on the road, and said to them;
U Yesu lwahazuwa awale Huyerusalemu, awawenjile awanafunzi wakwe kumi na wawele pambembe mwidala ahawawozya,
18 Lo! we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of man will be betrayed to the chief priests and scribes, and they shall condemn him to death,
“Enyi tiwala Huyerusalemu, na umwana wa Adamu wanzahumeshe mnyowe inzya wagosi wa Amakuhani na awandisi. Wanzahunonje afye,
19 and shall deliver him to the Gentiles, to insult, and to scourge, and to crucify: and the third day he shall rise again.
wanzahufumye hwa wantu wa munsi na munsi ili wasonsye, washente, na hukhowehenye. Lakini isiku ilya tatu ahaizyoha.”
20 Then came to him the mother of Zebedee’s children, with her sons, paying him obeisance, and petitioning a favour of him.
Eshi umanye wa wana wa Zebedayo ahezele hwa Yesu na wana wakwe. Ahasugamila amafugamo hwitangalila lyankwe ahanawa ahantu afume hwakwe.
21 Then he said to her, What is thy wish? She saith unto him, Tell me that these my two sons shall sit, the one at thy right hand, and the other at thy left, in thy kingdom.
U Yesu ahamozya, “Uhulanzashi?” Ahamozya, “Lajizwa aje ewa awana wane wawele wakhale, weka hukhono waho wa hunelo na weka hukhono waho wa humwongo huu umwene waho.”
22 Then Jesus answering said, Ye know not what ye ask. Can ye drink of the cup that I am going to drink, and be baptised with the baptism with which I am baptised? They say unto him, We are able.
Walakini u Yesu ahayanga na humuozye, “Saga umenye ahantu hulawa. Je! Uwajie amwelele ishikombe shinza mwelele?” Wamuozya, “Tuwajie.”
23 And he saith unto them, Ye shall indeed drink of my cup, and with the baptism with which I am baptised, shall ye be baptised; but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, it is not in my power to bestow, but on those, for whom it was prepared by my Father.
Awawawuzya, “Ishikombe shane lioli munza mwelele. Lakini akhale ukhono gwane wahunelona ukhona gwane ugwa humongo, sanga mbombo yane huwapele, lakini Udada wane awaweshe wala yawamenye.”
24 And the twelve, on hearing this, were filled with indignation against the two brethren.
Awanafunzi awamwawo kumi lwawovya esho, wahazungumila hani na wala awahola wawele.
25 But Jesus, calling them to him, said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their great men exercise authority among them.
Lakini u Yesu ahawakwizya wawewo ahawa wozya, “Mmenye aje awalawala wa munsi wahongofya na awagosi wao wawomba amamlaka ganu mwanya yao.
26 But thus shall it not be with you. But whosoever will be a great man among you, let him be your servant;
Lakini isahawye esho humwenyu ishinyumw shakwe. Wowonti yahwazawe gosi hulimwe awe lazima amwe muwomba mbombo wenyu.
27 and whosoever will be first, let him be your slave.
Na yanzawe wa hwanda hulimwe amwe lazima awye muomba mbombo wenyu.
28 Even as the Son of man came not to be waited upon, but to serve, and to give his life a ransom for many.
Nanzi umwana wa Adamu sagaahezele awombelwe imbombo bali awombe imbombo hulimwe amwe, na afumye uwomi wakwe uwe ukombolewa huwinchi.”
29 And as they were going out of Jericho, a great multitude followed him.
Lwawahepanga Huyeriko, ikundi igosi lyahafuatile.
30 And, behold, two blind men sat by the road side, who hearing that Jesus was passing by, cried out, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, son of David!
Wahawalolile wawabadiye amaso wawele wakheye mumbembe mubarabara. Lwawonvwa aje u Yesu wa shilaga, waha wajile ishogo na yanje, “Bwana mwana wa Daudi utusajile.”
31 And the multitude checked them, that they should be silent; but they cried out the more, Have mercy on us, Lord, son of David.
Lakini ikundi lyahawadamie na huwawozye wapume niyie. Hatesho awene wahabwajile ishongo, hani nayanje, “Bwana, mwana wa Daudi, utusanjile.”
32 And Jesus standing called them, and said, What desire ye, that I should do for you?
Epo u Yesu akhemelela na huwakwinzye na huwawuzye, “Mhwanza aje imbawombele iyenu?”
33 They say unto him, Lord, that our eyes may be opened.
Wahayanga, “Bwana amaso gentu gafumbulilwe.”
34 Then Jesus, moved with compassion, touched their eyes; and immediately their eyes recovered sight, and they followed him.
Epo u Yesu avutwa awasajila, wapalamasya amaso gao, waposhela pepo ingovu ya lole wahafyenta.
