Matthew 11
1 AND it came to pass, when Jesus had finished his injunctions to his twelve disciples, he departed thence to teach and preach in their cities.
১যীচুৱে তেওঁৰ বাৰ জন শিষ্যক এইদৰে আদেশ দি শেষ কৰিলে। তাৰ পাছত তেওঁ নগৰে নগৰে শিক্ষা দিবৰ বাবে আৰু প্রচাৰ কৰিবৰ কাৰণে সেই ঠাইৰ পৰা গুচি গ’ল।
2 Then John, having heard in prison the works of Christ, sent two of his disciples,
২যোহনে বন্দীশালৰ পৰা যেতিয়া খ্ৰীষ্টৰ কৰ্মৰ কথা শুনিলে, তেতিয়া নিজৰ শিষ্য সকলৰ দ্বাৰাই যীচুক সুধি পঠালে,
3 and said unto him, Art thou he that cometh, or should we expect another?
৩ক’লে “আহিব লগা জন আপুনিয়ে হয়নে, নে আমি অন্য কোনোবা এজনলৈ অপেক্ষা কৰিম?”
4 And Jesus answering said unto them, Go, and tell John what things ye hear and see.
৪যীচুৱে উত্তৰ দি তেওঁলোকক ক’লে, “যোৱা, তোমালোকে যি শুনিছা আৰু দেখিছা, সেই বিষয়ৰ সম্বাদ যোহনক দিয়াগৈ।
5 The blind receive sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.
৫অন্ধই দৃষ্টিশক্তি পাইছে, খোৰাই খোজ কাঢ়িছে, কুষ্ঠ ৰোগীক শুচি কৰা হৈছে, কলাই পুণৰ শুনিছে, মৃত সকলক জীৱনলৈ পুণৰুত্থিত কৰা হৈছে, দৰিদ্ৰ সকলৰ আগত শুভবাৰ্তা ঘোষণা কৰা হৈছে।
6 And blessed is he whosoever shall not be offended at me.
৬ধন্য সেই লোক, যি জনে মোক লৈ কোনো বাধা নাপায়।”
7 And when they were gone, Jesus began to speak to the multitudes concerning John, What went ye out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken with the wind?
৭যোহনৰ শিষ্য সকল যেতিয়া উলটি গ’ল, সেই সময়ত যীচুৱে যোহনৰ বিষয়ে লোক সকলৰ আগত এই কথা কবলৈ ধৰিলে, “আপোনালোকে কি চাবৰ বাবে মৰুপ্ৰান্তলৈ গৈছিল- বতাহে লৰোৱা এক নল-খাগৰি?
8 But what went ye out to see? A man clothed in delicate garments? Lo! they who wear delicate garments are in the houses of kings.
৮তেনেহলে কি চাবলৈ ওলাই গৈছিল- মিহি কাপোৰ পিন্ধা মানুহ নে? বাস্তৱিকতে, যি সকলে মিহি কাপোৰ পিন্ধে, তেওঁলোক ৰজাৰ ভৱনতহে থাকে।
9 Yet what went ye out to see? A prophet? Yes, I tell you, and abundantly more than a prophet.
৯তেনেহলে কি চাবলৈ ওলাই গৈছিল - এজন ভাববাদীক নে? হয়, মই আপোনালোকক কওঁ, ‘তেওঁ ভাৱবাদীতকৈয়ো মহান।
10 For this is he of whom it is written, “Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, who shall prepare thy way before thee.”
১০এই জন তেৱেঁই, যি জনৰ বিষয়ে শাস্ত্রত লিখা আছে, ‘চোৱা, মই তোমাৰ আগত মোৰ বার্তাবাহকক পঠাম, তেওঁ তোমাৰ আগত তোমাৰ পথ প্রস্তুত কৰিব।’
11 Verily I say unto you, There hath not arisen, from those born of women, a greater than John the Baptist: yet he that is the least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.
১১মই আপোনালোকক সঁচাকৈয়ে কওঁ, মহিলাৰ গর্ভত যিমান মানুহৰ জন্ম হৈছে, তেওঁলোকৰ মাজত বাপ্তাইজক যোহনতকৈ মহান কোনো নাই; কিন্তু স্বৰ্গৰাজ্যত আটাইতকৈ গুৰুত্বহীন সৰু ব্যক্তিও যোহনতকৈ মহান।
12 But from the days of John the Baptist unto the present, the kingdom of heaven is assaulted by violence, and the invaders forcibly seize upon it.
১২বাপ্তাইজক যোহনৰ দিনৰ পৰা এতিয়ালৈকে স্বৰ্গৰাজ্য ভীষণভাৱে আক্ৰান্ত হৈছে আৰু বলৱান লোকে বলেৰে তাক নিয়ন্ত্রণ কৰিবলৈ চেষ্টা কৰিছে।
13 For all the prophets and the law until John, foretold this.
১৩যোহনৰ সময়লৈকে সকলো ভাববাদীয়ে আৰু বিধান-শাস্ত্ৰই ভাবোক্তি প্ৰকাশ কৰিছে।
14 And if ye will receive it, this is Elias who was to come.
১৪অাপোনালোকে যদি এই কথা গ্ৰহণ কৰিব খোজে, তেনেহলে আহিব লগা যি এলিয়া, এই যোহনেই সেই জন।
15 He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
১৫যি জনৰ শুনিবলৈ কাণ আছে, তেওঁ শুনক।
16 But to whom shall I resemble this generation? it is like little boys sitting in the places of concourse, and calling to their companions,
১৬এই যুগৰ লোক সকলক কাৰ লগত তুলনা কৰিম? এওঁলোক এনেকুৱা ল’ৰা-ছোৱালীৰ নিচিনা, যি সকলে বজাৰত বহি সঙ্গী সকলক মাতি কয়;
17 and saying, We have piped to you, and ye have not danced; we have sung mournful ditties to you, and ye have not beat your breasts.
১৭‘আমি তোমালোকৰ কাৰণে বাঁহী বজালো, তোমালোকে নানাচিলা; আমি শোকৰ গান গালো, তোমালোকে বিলাপ নকৰিলা।’
18 For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, He hath a devil:
১৮যোহনে আহি ভোজন গ্রহণ বা দ্রাক্ষাৰস পান একো নকৰাৰ কাৰণে লোকে কয়, ‘তেওঁক ভূতে পাইছে’।
19 the Son of man is come eating and drinking, and they say, Behold, what a man! a glutton and a wine-bibber, a friend of publicans and sinners: though wisdom hath been justified by her children.
১৯মানুহৰ পুত্ৰই আহি ভোজন-পান কৰিলে কাৰণে লোকে কয়, ‘এই চোৱা, এই জন এজন খকুৱা আৰু মদাহী মানুহ; কৰ সংগ্রহকাৰী আৰু পাপীবোৰৰ বন্ধু! কিন্তু জ্ঞান যে সত্য, নিজৰ কৰ্মৰ দ্বাৰাই প্ৰমাণিত হয়।’”
20 Then began he to upbraid the cities in which the chief of his miracles had been wrought, because they repented not:
২০যীচুৱে যিবোৰ নগৰত বেচি ভাগ পৰাক্রম কাৰ্য কৰিছিল, সেইবোৰ ঠাইৰ নিবাসী সকলক তেওঁ গৰিহণা দিলে, কাৰণ তেওঁলোকে মন-পালটন নকৰিলে।
21 Wo unto thee, Chorazin! wo unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the miracles which had been wrought in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, long since would they have repented in sack-cloth and ashes.
২১“হায় কোৰাচীন! হায় বৈৎ-চৈদা! কিয়নো তোমালোকৰ মাজত যিবোৰ পৰাক্ৰম কাৰ্য কৰা হ’ল, সেইবোৰ কাৰ্য যদি তুৰ আৰু চীদোন নগৰত কৰিলোঁ হয়, তেনেহলে বহু দিনৰ আগেয়ে তাৰ নিবাসী সকলে চট পিন্ধিলেহেঁতেন আৰু ছাইত বহি মন-পালটন কৰিলেহেঁতেন।
22 Wherefore I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in the day of judgment than for you.
২২কিন্তু মই আপোনালোকক কওঁ, সোধ-বিচাৰৰ দিনা আপোনালোকতকৈ তুৰ আৰু চীদোনৰদশা সহিব পৰা হ’ব।
23 And thou, Capernaum, who hast been exalted unto heaven, shalt be cast down to hell: for if the miracles which have been wrought in thee had been done in Sodom, it had remained unto this day. (Hadēs g86)
২৩তুমি, কফৰনাহূম! তুমি ভাৱা নেকি যে তোমাক স্বৰ্গলৈ তোলা হ’ব? কেতিয়াও নহয়, তোমাক মৃতলোকলৈ, অৰ্থাৎ নৰকলৈহে অনা হ’ব। কিয়নো তোমাৰ মাজত যিবোৰ পৰাক্ৰম কাৰ্য কৰা হ’ল, সেইবোৰ কৰ্ম যদি চদোমত কৰা হ’লহেতেন, তেনেহলে চদোম আজিও থাকিলেহেতেন। (Hadēs g86)
24 Wherefore I say unto you, That it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment than for thee.
২৪কিন্তু মই তোমালোকক কওঁ, সোধ-বিচাৰৰ দিনা তোমালোকতকৈ চদোম নগৰৰ দশা সহিবৰ বাবে অধিক সহজ হ’ব।”
25 At that time Jesus spake and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and the intelligent, and hast revealed them to babes:
২৫সেই সময়ত যীচুৱে মাত লগাই ক’লে, “হে পিতৃ, তুমি স্বৰ্গ আৰু পৃথিৱীৰ প্ৰভু, মই তোমাৰ প্রশংসা কৰোঁ, কাৰণ তুমি জ্ঞানী আৰু বুদ্ধিমন্ত লোকৰ পৰা এইবোৰ কথা গুপুতে ৰাখিছা, কিন্তু শিশু সকলৰ দৰে সৰল লোক সকলৰ আগত প্ৰকাশ কৰিলা।
26 yes, Father! since such is thy good pleasure.
২৬হয় পিতৃ, ‘এইদৰে তোমাৰ দৃষ্টিত ই সন্তোষজনক হৈছে।’
27 All things are delivered up to me by my Father: and no person knoweth the Son but the Father; neither knoweth any person the Father but the Son, and he to whom the Son is pleased to reveal him.
২৭কিয়নো মোৰ পিতৃয়ে সকলোকে মোৰ হাতত সমৰ্পন কৰিছে; পিতৃৰ বাহিৰে পুত্রক কোনেও নাজানে: পুত্ৰৰ বাহিৰে পিতৃক কোনেও নাজানে। পুত্ৰই যি জনৰ আগত পিতৃক প্ৰকাশ কৰিবলৈ ইচ্ছা কৰে, তেৱেঁই তেওঁক জানে।
28 Come to me, all who labour hard, and sustain heavy burdens, and I will give you relief.
২৮হে পৰিশ্ৰান্ত আৰু ভাৰাক্ৰান্ত লোক সকল, মোৰ ওচৰলৈ আহা; মই তোমালোকক জিৰণি দিম।
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest to your souls.
২৯মই নম্ৰ আৰু কোমল চিত্তৰ মানুহ; এই হেতুকে, তোমালোকৰ ওপৰত মোৰ যুৱঁলি লোৱা আৰু মোৰ শিক্ষা লোৱা; তাতে তোমালোকে নিজৰ নিজৰ মনত জিৰণি পাবা।
30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
৩০কিয়নো মোৰ যুৱঁলি বৈ নিয়া সহজ আৰু মোৰ বোজাও লঘু।”
