John 20
1 AND on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalen came very early, whilst yet some darkness remained, to the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre.
Am ersten Wochentage aber kommt Maria, die von Magdala, morgens frühe, da es noch dunkel war, zu dem Grab, und sieht den Stein vom Grabe weggenommen.
2 She therefore runneth, and cometh to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and saith to them, They have taken away the Lord out of the sepulchre, and we know not where they have laid him.
Da läuft sie und geht zu Simon Petrus und zu dem anderen Jünger, welchen Jesus lieb hatte, und sagt zu ihnen: Sie haben den Herrn aus dem Grabe genommen, und wir wissen nicht, wo sie ihn hingelegt haben.
3 Then Peter went out, and that other disciple, and came to the sepulchre.
Da gieng Petrus hinaus und der andere Jünger, und giengen zum Grab.
4 And they two ran together: and the other disciple ran before more swiftly than Peter, and came first to the sepulchre.
Es liefen aber die beiden miteinander, und der andere Jünger lief voraus, schneller als Petrus, und kam zuerst an das Grab,
5 And stooping forward, he sees the swathing clothes lying there; yet he did not go in.
und beugte sich vor und sieht die Leintücher da liegen, hinein gieng er jedoch nicht.
6 Then cometh Simon Peter following him, and went into the sepulchre, and saw the swathing clothes lying,
Da kommt Simon Petrus hinter ihm drein, und er trat in das Grab hinein und schaut die Leintücher liegen,
7 and the napkin, which had been round his head, not laid with the linen swathes, but apart folded up in another place.
und das Schweißtuch, das auf seinem Kopf gelegen war, nicht bei den Leintüchern liegen, sondern für sich zusammengewickelt an einem besonderen Platz.
8 Then went in also the other disciple, who had come the first to the sepulchre, and saw, and believed.
Hierauf gieng denn auch der andere Jünger hinein, der zuerst zum Grabe gekommen war, und sah es und glaubte.
9 Though not even yet had they known the scripture, that he should rise from the dead.
Denn noch hatten sie die Schrift nicht verstanden, daß er von den Toten auferstehen müsse.
10 Then the disciples went back again to their companions.
Da giengen die Jünger wieder heim.
11 But Mary stood at the sepulchre, without, weeping: as therefore she wept, she bent forward towards the sepulchre.
Maria aber stand außen am Grabe weinend.
12 And saw two angels in white, sitting, the one at the head, and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain.
Indem sie so weinte, beugte sie sich vor in das Grab, und schaut zwei Engel in weißen Gewändern da sitzend, einen zu Häupten und einen zu Füßen, wo der Leichnam Jesus gelegen war.
13 And they say unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? She saith to them, Because they have taken away my Lord, and I know not where they have laid him.
Dieselben sagen zu ihr: Weib, was weinst du? Sagt sie zu ihnen: weil sie meinen Herrn weggenommen, und ich weiß nicht, wo sie ihn hingelegt haben.
14 And as she thus spoke, she turned about, and beheld Jesus standing by, and knew not that it was Jesus.
Als sie dies gesagt hatte, kehrte sie sich um, und schaut Jesus dastehend, und erkannte ihn nicht.
15 Then Jesus said to her, Woman, why art thou weeping? whom art thou seeking? She, supposing that it was the gardener, said to him, Sir, if thou hast carried him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away.
Sagt Jesus zu ihr: Weib, was weinst du? Wen suchst du? Sie, in der Meinung, es sei der Gartenhüter, sagt zu ihm: Herr, wenn du ihn fortgetragen, sage mir, wo du ihn hingelegt, so werde ich ihn holen.
16 Jesus saith to her, Mary! Starting round, she said to him, Rabboni! that is, Master!
Sagt Jesus zu ihr: Maria! Da wendet sie sich und sagt zu ihm Hebräisch: Rabbuni! das heißt Meister.
17 Jesus saith to her, Touch me not; for I have not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and tell them, I am ascending to my Father, and your Father; to my God, and your God.
Sagt Jesus zu ihr: rühre mich nicht an; denn noch bin ich nicht aufgestiegen zu dem Vater; gehe aber zu meinen Brüdern und sage zu ihnen: ich steige auf zu meinem und eurem Vater, meinem und eurem Gott.
18 Mary Magdalen cometh declaring to the disciples, that she had seen the Lord, and that he had spoken these things to her.
Maria von Magdala geht und verkündet den Jüngern: ich habe den Herrn gesehen, und daß er ihr dieses gesagt.
19 When the evening therefore was come, on the same first day of the week, and the doors being fastened where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said unto them, Peace be to you.
Da es nun Abend war an jenem ersten Wochentag, und die Thüren verschlossen waren an dem Orte, wo die Jünger waren, aus Furcht vor den Juden, kam Jesus und trat mitten unter sie, und sagt zu ihnen: Friede sei euch.
20 And thus speaking, he shewed them his hands and his side. Then were the disciples glad when they saw the Lord.
Und wie er das gesagt, zeigte er ihnen die Hände und die Seite. Da freuten sich die Jünger, als sie den Herrn sahen.
21 Jesus therefore spake to them again, Peace be unto you: as the Father hath sent me, even so send I you.
Da sagte er abermals zu ihnen: Friede sei euch; so wie mich der Vater abgesandt hat, so sende auch ich euch.
22 And so speaking, he breathed on them, and said, Receive the Holy Ghost:
Und da er das gesagt, blies er sie an und sagt zu ihnen: empfanget den heiligen Geist.
23 whose soever sins ye forgive, they are forgiven them; and whose sins soever ye retain, they are retained.
Wenn ihr jemand die Sünden vergebt, dem sind sie vergeben; wenn ihr jemand die Sünden behaltet, dem sind sie behalten.
24 Now Thomas, one of the twelve, who is called Didymus, the twin, was not with them when Jesus came.
Thomas aber, einer von den Zwölf, genannt Zwilling, war nicht dabei, als Jesus kam.
25 Then the other disciples said to him, We have seen the Lord. But he said to them, Except I should see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I shall never believe it.
Da sagten ihm die anderen Jünger: wir haben den Herrn gesehen. Er aber sagte zu ihnen: wenn ich nicht an seinen Händen die Nägelmale sehe, und meinen Finger in das Nägelmal lege, und meine Hand in seine Seite, so glaube ich nimmermehr.
26 And eight days after, his disciples were again within, and Thomas with them: Jesus cometh, though the doors were fastened, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.
Und acht Tage nachher waren seine Jünger wieder drinnen und Thomas bei ihnen. Kommt Jesus bei verschlossenen Thüren, und trat mitten hinein und sprach: Friede sei euch.
27 Afterwards he spake to Thomas, Bring hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and take thy hand, and thrust into my side: and be not incredulous, but a believer.
Darauf sagt er zu Thomas: lege deinen Finger hierher, und sieh meine Hände, und nimm deine Hand und lege sie in meine Seite, und werde nicht ungläubig, sondern gläubig.
28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God!
Antwortete Thomas und sagte zu ihm: mein Herr und mein Gott!
29 Jesus saith to him, Because thou hast seen me, Thomas, hast thou believed: blessed are they who though they have not seen me, yet have believed.
Sagt zu ihm Jesus: weil du mich gesehen hast, bist du gläubig worden. Selig, die nicht sahen, und glaubten.
30 Now many other miracles did Jesus therefore also in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book:
Auch viele andere Zeichen nun that Jesus vor den Jüngern, die nicht aufgeschrieben sind in diesem Buche.
31 but these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.
Diese aber sind geschrieben, damit ihr glaubet, daß Jesus der Christus ist, der Sohn Gottes, und damit ihr durch den Glauben Leben habet in seinem Namen.
