John 1
1 IN the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
১আদৌ ৱাদ আসীৎ স চ ৱাদ ঈশ্ৱৰেণ সাৰ্ধমাসীৎ স ৱাদঃ স্ৱযমীশ্ৱৰ এৱ|
2 He was in the beginning with God.
২স আদাৱীশ্ৱৰেণ সহাসীৎ|
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not one thing made that was made.
৩তেন সৰ্ৱ্ৱং ৱস্তু সসৃজে সৰ্ৱ্ৱেষু সৃষ্টৱস্তুষু কিমপি ৱস্তু তেনাসৃষ্টং নাস্তি|
4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
৪স জীৱনস্যাকাৰঃ, তচ্চ জীৱনং মনুষ্যাণাং জ্যোতিঃ
5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness did not comprehend it.
৫তজ্জ্যোতিৰন্ধকাৰে প্ৰচকাশে কিন্ত্ৱন্ধকাৰস্তন্ন জগ্ৰাহ|
6 A man was sent from God, whose name was John.
৬যোহন্ নামক একো মনুজ ঈশ্ৱৰেণ প্ৰেষযাঞ্চক্ৰে|
7 He came for a witness, that he might bear testimony concerning the Light, that all men through him might believe.
৭তদ্ৱাৰা যথা সৰ্ৱ্ৱে ৱিশ্ৱসন্তি তদৰ্থং স তজ্জ্যোতিষি প্ৰমাণং দাতুং সাক্ষিস্ৱৰূপো ভূৎৱাগমৎ,
8 He was not the Light, but sent that he should bear testimony concerning the Light.
৮স স্ৱযং তজ্জ্যোতি ৰ্ন কিন্তু তজ্জ্যোতিষি প্ৰমাণং দাতুমাগমৎ|
9 He was that true Light, which illumines every man by his coming into the world.
৯জগত্যাগত্য যঃ সৰ্ৱ্ৱমনুজেভ্যো দীপ্তিং দদাতি তদেৱ সত্যজ্যোতিঃ|
10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
১০স যজ্জগদসৃজৎ তন্মদ্য এৱ স আসীৎ কিন্তু জগতো লোকাস্তং নাজানন্|
11 He came unto his peculiar people, and his peculiar people did not receive him.
১১নিজাধিকাৰং স আগচ্ছৎ কিন্তু প্ৰজাস্তং নাগৃহ্লন্|
12 But as many as did receive him, on them he bestowed authority to become children of God, even on those who believe on his name:
১২তথাপি যে যে তমগৃহ্লন্ অৰ্থাৎ তস্য নাম্নি ৱ্যশ্ৱসন্ তেভ্য ঈশ্ৱৰস্য পুত্ৰা ভৱিতুম্ অধিকাৰম্ অদদাৎ|
13 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
১৩তেষাং জনিঃ শোণিতান্ন শাৰীৰিকাভিলাষান্ন মানৱানামিচ্ছাতো ন কিন্ত্ৱীশ্ৱৰাদভৱৎ|
14 And the Word became incarnate, and tabernacled with us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, ) full of grace and truth.
১৪স ৱাদো মনুষ্যৰূপেণাৱতীৰ্য্য সত্যতানুগ্ৰহাভ্যাং পৰিপূৰ্ণঃ সন্ সাৰ্ধম্ অস্মাভি ৰ্ন্যৱসৎ ততঃ পিতুৰদ্ৱিতীযপুত্ৰস্য যোগ্যো যো মহিমা তং মহিমানং তস্যাপশ্যাম|
15 John bore witness concerning him, and cried, saying, This is he of whom I said, He that is coming after me, is before me: because before me he was.
১৫ততো যোহনপি প্ৰচাৰ্য্য সাক্ষ্যমিদং দত্তৱান্ যো মম পশ্চাদ্ আগমিষ্যতি স মত্তো গুৰুতৰঃ; যতো মৎপূৰ্ৱ্ৱং স ৱিদ্যমান আসীৎ; যদৰ্থম্ অহং সাক্ষ্যমিদম্ অদাং স এষঃ|
16 And from his plenitude we all have received, even grace corresponding with his grace.
১৬অপৰঞ্চ তস্য পূৰ্ণতাযা ৱযং সৰ্ৱ্ৱে ক্ৰমশঃ ক্ৰমশোনুগ্ৰহং প্ৰাপ্তাঃ|
17 For the law was given by Moses, but the grace and the reality came by Jesus Christ.
১৭মূসাদ্ৱাৰা ৱ্যৱস্থা দত্তা কিন্ত্ৱনুগ্ৰহঃ সত্যৎৱঞ্চ যীশুখ্ৰীষ্টদ্ৱাৰা সমুপাতিষ্ঠতাং|
18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, he hath thoroughly described him.
১৮কোপি মনুজ ঈশ্ৱৰং কদাপি নাপশ্যৎ কিন্তু পিতুঃ ক্ৰোডস্থোঽদ্ৱিতীযঃ পুত্ৰস্তং প্ৰকাশযৎ|
19 And this is the testimony of John, when the Jews sent from Jerusalem priests and Levites, that they should question him, Who art thou?
১৯ৎৱং কঃ? ইতি ৱাক্যং প্ৰেষ্টুং যদা যিহূদীযলোকা যাজকান্ লেৱিলোকাংশ্চ যিৰূশালমো যোহনঃ সমীপে প্ৰেষযামাসুঃ,
20 And he confessed, and denied it not; but acknowledged, I am not the Messiah.
২০তদা স স্ৱীকৃতৱান্ নাপহ্নূতৱান্ নাহম্ অভিষিক্ত ইত্যঙ্গীকৃতৱান্|
21 And they asked him, What then? art thou Elias? and he said, I am not. Art thou that prophet? and he answered, No.
২১তদা তেঽপৃচ্ছন্ তৰ্হি কো ভৱান্? কিং এলিযঃ? সোৱদৎ ন; ততস্তেঽপৃচ্ছন্ তৰ্হি ভৱান্ স ভৱিষ্যদ্ৱাদী? সোৱদৎ নাহং সঃ|
22 Then said they to him, Who art thou? that we may give an answer to those who sent us: What description givest thou of thyself?
২২তদা তেঽপৃচ্ছন্ তৰ্হি ভৱান্ কঃ? ৱযং গৎৱা প্ৰেৰকান্ ৎৱযি কিং ৱক্ষ্যামঃ? স্ৱস্মিন্ কিং ৱদসি?
23 He said, I am a voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way for the Lord, as said the prophet Isaiah.
২৩তদা সোৱদৎ| পৰমেশস্য পন্থানং পৰিষ্কুৰুত সৰ্ৱ্ৱতঃ| ইতীদং প্ৰান্তৰে ৱাক্যং ৱদতঃ কস্যচিদ্ৰৱঃ| কথামিমাং যস্মিন্ যিশযিযো ভৱিষ্যদ্ৱাদী লিখিতৱান্ সোহম্|
24 And they who were sent, were of the Pharisees.
২৪যে প্ৰেষিতাস্তে ফিৰূশিলোকাঃ|
25 And they questioned him, and said to him, Why then dost thou baptise, if thou be not the Messiah, nor Elias, nor that prophet?
২৫তদা তেঽপৃচ্ছন্ যদি নাভিষিক্তোসি এলিযোসি ন স ভৱিষ্যদ্ৱাদ্যপি নাসি চ, তৰ্হি লোকান্ মজ্জযসি কুতঃ?
26 John answered them, saying, I baptise with water: but in the midst of you hath stood a person, whom ye have not known;
২৬ততো যোহন্ প্ৰত্যৱোচৎ, তোযেঽহং মজ্জযামীতি সত্যং কিন্তু যং যূযং ন জানীথ তাদৃশ একো জনো যুষ্মাকং মধ্য উপতিষ্ঠতি|
27 it is he, though coming after me, who was before me, the thong of whole sandal I am not worthy to untie.
২৭স মৎপশ্চাদ্ আগতোপি মৎপূৰ্ৱ্ৱং ৱৰ্ত্তমান আসীৎ তস্য পাদুকাবন্ধনং মোচযিতুমপি নাহং যোগ্যোস্মি|
28 These things were done in Bethabara beyond Jordan, where John was baptising.
২৮যৰ্দ্দননদ্যাঃ পাৰস্থবৈথবাৰাযাং যস্মিন্স্থানে যোহনমজ্জযৎ তস্মিন স্থানে সৰ্ৱ্ৱমেতদ্ অঘটত|
29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming to him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, who taketh away the sin of the world,
২৯পৰেঽহনি যোহন্ স্ৱনিকটমাগচ্ছন্তং যিশুং ৱিলোক্য প্ৰাৱোচৎ জগতঃ পাপমোচকম্ ঈশ্ৱৰস্য মেষশাৱকং পশ্যত|
30 This is he of whom I spake, After me cometh a man who was before me: for before me he existed.
৩০যো মম পশ্চাদাগমিষ্যতি স মত্তো গুৰুতৰঃ, যতো হেতোৰ্মৎপূৰ্ৱ্ৱং সোঽৱৰ্ত্তত যস্মিন্নহং কথামিমাং কথিতৱান্ স এৱাযং|
31 And I knew him not: though that he might be manifested to Israel, therefore am I come baptising with water.
৩১অপৰং নাহমেনং প্ৰত্যভিজ্ঞাতৱান্ কিন্তু ইস্ৰাযেল্লোকা এনং যথা পৰিচিন্ৱন্তি তদভিপ্ৰাযেণাহং জলে মজ্জযিতুমাগচ্ছম্|
32 And John bore witness, saying, I saw the Spirit descending as a dove from heaven, and it rested upon him.
৩২পুনশ্চ যোহনপৰমেকং প্ৰমাণং দৎৱা কথিতৱান্ ৱিহাযসঃ কপোতৱদ্ অৱতৰন্তমাত্মানম্ অস্যোপৰ্য্যৱতিষ্ঠন্তং চ দৃষ্টৱানহম্|
33 And I did not know him: but he that sent me baptising with water, he said to me, Upon whomsoever thou shalt see the Spirit descending as a dove, and resting upon him, that is he who baptiseth with the Holy Ghost.
৩৩নাহমেনং প্ৰত্যভিজ্ঞাতৱান্ ইতি সত্যং কিন্তু যো জলে মজ্জযিতুং মাং প্ৰৈৰযৎ স এৱেমাং কথামকথযৎ যস্যোপৰ্য্যাত্মানম্ অৱতৰন্তম্ অৱতিষ্ঠন্তঞ্চ দ্ৰক্ষযসি সএৱ পৱিত্ৰে আত্মনি মজ্জযিষ্যতি|
34 And I have seen it, and have borne testimony that this is the Son of God.
৩৪অৱস্তন্নিৰীক্ষ্যাযম্ ঈশ্ৱৰস্য তনয ইতি প্ৰমাণং দদামি|
35 On the morrow John was again standing with two of his disciples;
৩৫পৰেঽহনি যোহন্ দ্ৱাভ্যাং শিষ্যাভ্যাং সাৰ্দ্ধেং তিষ্ঠন্
36 and looking upon Jesus as he walked by, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God!
৩৬যিশুং গচ্ছন্তং ৱিলোক্য গদিতৱান্, ঈশ্ৱৰস্য মেষশাৱকং পশ্যতং|
37 And the two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus.
৩৭ইমাং কথাং শ্ৰুৎৱা দ্ৱৌ শিষ্যৌ যীশোঃ পশ্চাদ্ ঈযতুঃ|
38 Then Jesus turned about, and seeing them following, saith to them, What are ye seeking? They said unto him, Rabbi (which signifies, when translated, Master), where is thy abode?
৩৮ততো যীশুঃ পৰাৱৃত্য তৌ পশ্চাদ্ আগচ্ছন্তৌ দৃষ্ট্ৱা পৃষ্টৱান্ যুৱাং কিং গৱেশযথঃ? তাৱপৃচ্ছতাং হে ৰব্বি অৰ্থাৎ হে গুৰো ভৱান্ কুত্ৰ তিষ্ঠতি?
39 He saith unto them, Come and see. They came and saw where he abode, and continued with him that day: and it was about the tenth hour.
৩৯ততঃ সোৱাদিৎ এত্য পশ্যতং| ততো দিৱসস্য তৃতীযপ্ৰহৰস্য গতৎৱাৎ তৌ তদ্দিনং তস্য সঙ্গেঽস্থাতাং|
40 One of the two, who had heard from John mention of Jesus, and had followed him, was Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother.
৪০যৌ দ্ৱৌ যোহনো ৱাক্যং শ্ৰুৎৱা যিশোঃ পশ্চাদ্ আগমতাং তযোঃ শিমোন্পিতৰস্য ভ্ৰাতা আন্দ্ৰিযঃ
41 He first finds his own brother Simon, and saith to him, We have found the Messiah (which is, being translated, the Christ).
৪১স ইৎৱা প্ৰথমং নিজসোদৰং শিমোনং সাক্ষাৎপ্ৰাপ্য কথিতৱান্ ৱযং খ্ৰীষ্টম্ অৰ্থাৎ অভিষিক্তপুৰুষং সাক্ষাৎকৃতৱন্তঃ|
42 And he brought him to Jesus. Then Jesus looking on him, said, Thou art Simon the son of Jonas: thou shalt be called Cephas, which, interpreted in Greek, is Petros, a Rock.
৪২পশ্চাৎ স তং যিশোঃ সমীপম্ আনযৎ| তদা যীশুস্তং দৃষ্ট্ৱাৱদৎ ৎৱং যূনসঃ পুত্ৰঃ শিমোন্ কিন্তু ৎৱন্নামধেযং কৈফাঃ ৱা পিতৰঃ অৰ্থাৎ প্ৰস্তৰো ভৱিষ্যতি|
43 The next day Jesus resolved to go into Galilee, and he findeth Philip, and saith to him, Follow me.
৪৩পৰেঽহনি যীশৌ গালীলং গন্তুং নিশ্চিতচেতসি সতি ফিলিপনামানং জনং সাক্ষাৎপ্ৰাপ্যাৱোচৎ মম পশ্চাদ্ আগচ্ছ|
44 Now Philip was of Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter.
৪৪বৈৎসৈদানাম্নি যস্মিন্ গ্ৰামে পিতৰান্দ্ৰিযযোৰ্ৱাস আসীৎ তস্মিন্ গ্ৰামে তস্য ফিলিপস্য ৱসতিৰাসীৎ|
45 Philip findeth Nathaniel, and saith to him, We have found him whom Moses in the law has described, and the prophets, Jesus the son of Joseph, who is of Nazareth.
৪৫পশ্চাৎ ফিলিপো নিথনেলং সাক্ষাৎপ্ৰাপ্যাৱদৎ মূসা ৱ্যৱস্থা গ্ৰন্থে ভৱিষ্যদ্ৱাদিনাং গ্ৰন্থেষু চ যস্যাখ্যানং লিখিতমাস্তে তং যূষফঃ পুত্ৰং নাসৰতীযং যীশুং সাক্ষাদ্ অকাৰ্ষ্ম ৱযং|
46 And Nathaniel said to him, Can any thing good come out of Nazareth? Philip saith to him, Come and see.
৪৬তদা নিথনেল্ কথিতৱান্ নাসৰন্নগৰাত কিং কশ্চিদুত্তম উৎপন্তুং শক্নোতি? ততঃ ফিলিপো ঽৱোচৎ এত্য পশ্য|
47 Jesus saw Nathaniel coming to him, and saith of him, Behold an Israelite in reality, in whom there is no guile!
৪৭অপৰঞ্চ যীশুঃ স্ৱস্য সমীপং তম্ আগচ্ছন্তং দৃষ্ট্ৱা ৱ্যাহৃতৱান্, পশ্যাযং নিষ্কপটঃ সত্য ইস্ৰাযেল্লোকঃ|
48 Nathaniel saith unto him, From whence canst thou know me? Jesus answered and said unto him, Before Philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig-tree, I saw thee.
৪৮ততঃ সোৱদদ্, ভৱান্ মাং কথং প্ৰত্যভিজানাতি? যীশুৰৱাদীৎ ফিলিপস্য আহ্ৱানাৎ পূৰ্ৱ্ৱং যদা ৎৱমুডুম্বৰস্য তৰোৰ্মূলেঽস্থাস্তদা ৎৱামদৰ্শম্|
49 Nathaniel answered and said to him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the king of Israel.
৪৯নিথনেল্ অচকথৎ, হে গুৰো ভৱান্ নিতান্তম্ ঈশ্ৱৰস্য পুত্ৰোসি, ভৱান্ ইস্ৰাযেল্ৱংশস্য ৰাজা|
50 Jesus answered and said unto him, Because I said to thee, I saw thee under the fig-tree, dost thou believe? thou shalt see greater things than these.
৫০ততো যীশু ৰ্ৱ্যাহৰৎ, ৎৱামুডুম্বৰস্য পাদপস্য মূলে দৃষ্টৱানাহং মমৈতস্মাদ্ৱাক্যাৎ কিং ৎৱং ৱ্যশ্ৱসীঃ? এতস্মাদপ্যাশ্চৰ্য্যাণি কাৰ্য্যাণি দ্ৰক্ষ্যসি|
51 And he saith to him, Verily, verily, I tell you, From henceforth ye shall see heaven opened, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man.
৫১অন্যচ্চাৱাদীদ্ যুষ্মানহং যথাৰ্থং ৱদামি, ইতঃ পৰং মোচিতে মেঘদ্ৱাৰে তস্মান্মনুজসূনুনা ঈশ্ৱৰস্য দূতগণম্ অৱৰোহন্তমাৰোহন্তঞ্চ দ্ৰক্ষ্যথ|
