< Hebrews 7 >
1 FOR this Melchisedec, king of Salem, a priest of God most high, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him;
Jo šis Melhizedeks bija Salemes ķēniņš, Dieva tā visu augstākā priesteris, kas Ābrahāmam, kad tas pārnāca no tās ķēniņu kaušanas, gāja pretī un viņu svētīja;
2 to whom also Abraham gave a tenth share of all the spoil: being, as the interpretation of his name imports, first, King of righteousness, and then also King of Salem, that is, King of peace:
Tam Ābrahāms arī deva to desmito tiesu no visa. Tas pirmā kārtā top tulkots: taisnības ķēniņš, - bet tad arīdzan: Salemes ķēniņš, tas ir, miera ķēniņš;
3 without father, without mother, without genealogy, having neither beginning of days nor end of life, but in exact resemblance with the Son of God, abideth a priest for ever.
Bez tēva, bez mātes, bez radu raksta; kam nav nedz dienu iesākuma, nedz dzīvības gala, bet Dieva Dēlam līdzināts viņš paliek priesteris mūžam.
4 Now observe how great is this Melchisedec, to whom even Abraham the patriarch gave the tenth of the spoils.
Bet lūkojiet, cik liels šis ir, ka pats Ābrahāms, tas vectēvs, viņam desmito tiesu no tā laupījuma devis.
5 For they indeed of the sons of Levi, who are admitted to priesthood, have an order to receive tithes from the people according to the law, that is, of their brethren, though also sprung from the loins of Abraham.
Un tiem Levja bērniem, kas to svēto amatu dabū, ir gan viens likums, desmito tiesu ņemt no tiem ļaudīm pēc bauslības, tas ir, no saviem brāļiem, jebšu tie cēlušies no Ābrahāma gurniem;
6 But he who derived not his genealogy from them, received tithes from Abraham, and blessed him who had the promises;
Bet viņš, kas nebija cēlies no viņu cilts, to desmito tiesu ir ņēmis no Ābrahāma un svētījis to, kam tās apsolīšanas bija.
7 but without all dispute the inferior receives benediction from the superior.
Bet nu bez nekādas pretī runāšanas tas mazākais top svētīts no tā lielākā.
8 And here indeed dying men receive the tithes, but there he hath a testimony borne to him that he liveth.
Un še mirstīgi cilvēki ņem to desmito tiesu, bet tur tas, par ko liecība top dota, ka tas dzīvo.
9 And, if I may so say, through Abraham even Levi, who receiveth tithes, paid tithes.
Un (tā sakot): arī Levi, kas to desmito tiesu ņem, to desmito tiesu ir devis caur Ābrahāmu.
10 For he was as yet in the loins of his father when Melchisedec met him.
Jo viņš vēl bija tēva gurnos, kad Melhizedeks šim gāja pretī.
11 If therefore there was perfection by the Levitical priesthood (for under that the people had the law given to them), what farther need was there that another priest should arise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron?
Ja tad nu tā pilnība būtu caur to priestera amatu no Levja cilts, (jo līdz ar to tie ļaudis bauslību ir dabūjuši), kam tad vēl vajadzēja citam priesterim celties pēc Melhizedeka kārtas, un netikt sauktam pēc Ārona kārtas?
12 For the priesthood being transferred, there is of necessity an abrogation of the law also.
Jo kad priesteru amats tiek pārcelts, tad arīdzan bauslībai jātiek pārceltai.
13 For he to whom these things are spoken belonged to another tribe, in which no man approached the altar.
Jo Tas, par ko tas sacīts, piederēja pie citas cilts, no kuras neviens nebija kalpojis pie altāra.
14 For it is evident that our Lord sprang from Judah; to which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning the priesthood;
Jo tas ir zināms, ka mūsu Kungs cēlies no Jūda cilts un uz šo cilti Mozus neko nav runājis par priesteru amatu.
15 and it is yet more abundantly evident, that there should arise another priest after the likeness of Melchisedec,
Un tas vēl jo skaidri ir zināms, ja pēc Melhizedeka līdzības cits priesteris ceļas,
16 who was not made such by the law of a carnal commandment, but by the power of a life indissoluble.
Kas tāds tapis ne pēc miesīga likuma bauslības, bet pēc neiznīcīgas dzīvības spēka.
17 For the testimony is, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec. (aiōn )
Jo Viņš apliecina: Tu esi priesteris mūžīgi pēc Melhizedeka kārtas. (aiōn )
18 For there is indeed an abrogation of the preceding command, because of its weakness and inutility.
Jo iepriekšēja baušļa atcelšana notiek tāpēc, ka tas nespēcīgs un nederīgs.
19 For the law led to no perfection, but was an introduction to a better hope, by which we draw nigh unto God.
Jo bauslība neko nav darījusi pilnīgu, bet tā labākas cerības ievešana, caur ko mēs tuvu nākam pie Dieva.
20 Moreover, forasmuch as he was not made priest without an oath,
Un kad tas nav noticis bez zvērēšanas, -
21 (for they indeed were made priests without an oath; but he with an oath, by him who said unto him, “The Lord hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec:”) (aiōn )
(Jo viņi bez zvērēšanas palikuši par priesteriem, bet Šis ar zvērēšanu, caur To, kas uz Viņu saka: Tas Kungs ir zvērējis - un tas Tam nebūs žēl - Tu esi priesteris mūžīgi pēc Melhizedeka kārtas) - (aiōn )
22 by so much is Jesus become the surety of a better testament.
Tad Jēzus par vienas daudz labākas derības galvinieku ir palicis.
23 And they indeed are many who were made priests, because by death they were prevented from abiding in their office:
Un viņi gan daudzi ir tapuši par priesteriem, tāpēc ka nāve tiem neļāva palikt.
24 but this person, because he abideth for ever, hath a priesthood that passeth not over to another. (aiōn )
Bet Šim caur to, ka Viņš mūžīgi paliek, ir neiznīcīgs priestera amats. (aiōn )
25 Wherefore also he is able to save to the uttermost those who come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.
Tādēļ Viņš arī pilnīgi var izglābt tos, kas caur Viņu pie Dieva nāk, vienmēr dzīvodams, ka Viņš tos aizstāvētu.
26 For such an high-priest was suitable to us, holy, inoffensive, spotless, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens:
Jo tāds augsts priesteris mums arī pienācās, kas ir svēts, nenoziedzīgs, neapgānīts, atšķirts no grēciniekiem un augstāks pār debesīm;
27 who hath not daily need, as the high-priests, first, to offer sacrifice for their own sins, afterwards, for those of the people: for this he did once for all, when he offered up himself.
Kam nevajag, tā kā tiem augstiem priesteriem, ikdienas upurus nest papriekš par saviem pašu grēkiem un pēc par tiem ļaužu grēkiem; jo to Viņš ir darījis vien' reiz, kad Viņš pats Sevi upurējis.
28 For the law constitutes men high-priests, though they have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which is since the law, constitutes the Son, unto eternity completely perfect. (aiōn )
Jo bauslība ieceļ par augstiem priesteriem cilvēkus, kam ir vājība, bet tas zvērēšanas vārds, kas nāca pēc bauslības, tas To Dēlu ieceļ mūžīgi pilnīgu. (aiōn )
