< Hebrews 12 >
1 THEREFORE also seeing we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, laying aside every weight, and that most easily besetting sin, let us run with patience the race lying before us,
ⲁ̅ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲫⲁⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲛ ϩⲱⲛ ⳿ⲉⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲟⲩ ϭⲏⲡⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲁⲓⲙⲁⲓⲏ ⲭⲏ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϩⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲉϫⲱⲛ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ϩⲁⲛⲙⲁⲣⲧⲩⲣⲟⲥ ⳿ⲉⲁⲛⲭⲱ ⳿ⲛⲥⲱⲛ ⳿ⲙⲙⲉⲧϭⲁⲥⲓϩⲏⲧ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲛⲉⲙ ⳿ⲫⲛⲟⲃⲓ ⲉⲧⲟϩⲓ ⳿ⲉⲣⲁⲧϥ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟⲛ ⲉⲙⲁϣⲱ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩϩⲩⲡⲟⲙⲟⲛⲏ ⲙⲁⲣⲉⲛϭⲟϫⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲁⲅⲱⲛ ⲉⲧⲭⲏ ⲛⲁⲛ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϧⲣⲏⲓ.
2 earnestly looking up to Jesus the author and the finisher of faith; who, for the joy set before him, endured the cross, despising shame, and hath sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
ⲃ̅ⲉⲛϫⲟⲩϣⲧ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲡⲁⲣⲭⲏⲅⲟⲥ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⳿ⲫⲛⲁϩϯ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲓⲣⲉϥϫⲱⲕ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲉ ⳿ⲛ⳿ⲧϣⲉⲃⲓⲱ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲣⲁϣⲓ ⲉⲧⲭⲏ ϧⲁϫⲱϥ ⲁϥ⳿ⲁⲙⲟⲛⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲟⲧϥ ⳿ⲉⲟⲩ ̇ⲁϥⲉⲣⲕⲁⲧⲁ⳿ⲫⲣⲟⲛⲓⲛ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲡϣⲓⲡⲓ ⲁϥϩⲉⲙⲥⲓ ⲥⲁⲟⲩ⳿ⲓⲛⲁⲙ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓ⳿ⲑⲣⲟⲛⲟⲥ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲫϯ.
3 Consider then attentively him that endured from sinners such opposition against himself, that ye be not wearied out, fainting in your souls.
ⲅ̅ⲙⲉⲕⲙⲉⲕ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲅⲁⲣ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁⲓⲙⲉⲧⲣⲉϥ⳿ⲁⲙⲟⲛⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲟⲧϥ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲫⲁⲓ ⳿ⲙⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛⲛⲓⲣⲉϥⲉⲣⲛⲟⲃⲓ ⲉⲩⲁⲛⲧⲓⲗⲟⲅⲓⲁ ⳿ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲙⲙⲓⲛ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛ⳿ϣⲧⲉⲙϭⲓϧⲓⲥⲓ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲃⲏⲗ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛⲯⲩⲭⲏ.
4 As yet ye have not resisted unto blood, struggling against sin.
ⲇ̅⳿ⲙⲡⲁⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲟϩⲓ ⳿ⲉⲣⲁⲧⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛϯ ⲟⲩⲃⲉ ⳿ⲫⲛⲟⲃⲓ ϣⲁ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϧⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲡ⳿ⲥⲛⲟϥ.
5 And have you forgotten the exhortation which is addressed to you, as children, “My son, count not lightly of the Lord’s childlike correction, nor faint when under his rebuke:
ⲉ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲣ⳿ⲡⲱⲃϣ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲑⲱⲧ ⳿ⲛϩⲏⲧ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⳿ⲛϩⲁⲛϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲡⲁϣⲏⲣⲓ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉⲣⲉⲣⲕⲟⲩϫⲓ ⳿ⲛϩⲏⲧ ϧⲉⲛ ϯ⳿ⲥⲃⲱ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ Ⲡ⳪ ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉⲣⲃⲱⲗ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲉϥⲥⲟϩⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲕ.
6 for whom the Lord loveth he correcteth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.”
ⲋ̅ⲫⲏ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲉⲧⲉ Ⲡ⳪ ⲙⲉⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ϣⲁϥ ϯ⳿ⲥⲃⲱ ⲛⲁϥ ϣⲁϥⲉⲣⲙⲁⲥⲧⲓⲅⲅⲟⲓⲛ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲛϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲧⲉϥⲛⲁϣⲟⲡⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟϥ.
7 If ye patiently endure correction, God carries himself towards you as his children: for who is the son whom the father doth not correct?
ⲍ̅ⲁⲣⲓϩⲩⲡⲟⲙⲉⲛⲓⲛ ⳿ⲛ⳿ⲥⲃⲱ ⲁϥⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⳿ⲛϩⲁⲛϣⲏⲣⲓ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲫϯ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲅⲁⲣ ⳿ⲛϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲉⲧⲉ ⳿ⲙⲡⲁⲣⲉ ⲡⲉϥⲓⲱⲧ ϯ⳿ⲥⲃⲱ ⲛⲁϥ.
8 If then ye are without correction, of which all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not children.
ⲏ̅ⲓⲥϫⲉ ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲭⲏ ⲥⲁⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲛϯ⳿ⲥⲃⲱ ⲑⲏ ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲉⲣ⳿ϣⲫⲏⲣ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟⲥ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ϩⲁⲣⲁ ⳿ⲛⲑⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϩⲁⲛϣⲏⲣⲓ ⳿ⲛⲛⲟⲩϫ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲛⲑⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϩⲁⲛϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲁⲛ.
9 If then we have had the fathers of our flesh for correctors, and reverenced them; shall we not much more be under subjection to the Father of spirits, and live?
ⲑ̅ⲓⲥϫⲉ ⲛⲉⲛⲓⲟϯ ⲙⲉⲛ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⳿ⲧⲥⲁⲣⲝ ⲛⲁⲩ⳿ⲛⲧⲁⲛ ⳿ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⳿ⲛⲣⲉϥϯ⳿ⲥⲃⲱ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲁⲛ⳿ϣⲫⲓⲧ ϧⲁⲧⲟⲩϩⲏ ⲓⲉ ⳿ⲛϩⲟⲩ⳿ⲟ ⲁⲛ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲛϭⲛⲉϫⲱⲛ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲓⲱⲧ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲡ͞ⲛⲁ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲱⲛϧ.
10 For they indeed for a few days as seemed proper to themselves corrected us; but he for our own advantage, that we might be partakers of his holiness.
ⲓ̅ⲛⲏ ⲙⲉⲛ ⲅⲁⲣ ⳿ⲡⲣⲟⲥ ⲟⲩⲕⲟⲩϫⲓ ⳿ⲛ⳿ⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲁⲩϯ⳿ⲥⲃⲱ ⲛⲁⲛ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲡⲉⲧⲉϩⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲛⲑⲟϥ ⲡⲉⲧⲉⲣⲛⲟϥⲣⲓ ⲛⲁⲛ ⳿ⲛϩⲟⲩ⳿ⲟ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲛϭⲓ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲧⲉϥⲙⲉⲧⲧⲟⲩⲃⲟ.
11 Now all correction at the moment seemeth not to be cause for joy, but for sorrow; but after a while it produceth peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have thereby been disciplined.
ⲓ̅ⲁ̅⳿ⲥⲃⲱ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⳿ⲡⲣⲟⲥ ϯⲟⲩⲛⲟⲩ ⲙⲉⲛ ⳿ⲙⲡⲁⲕϫⲉⲙⲟⲩ ⲉⲛⲁⲟⲩⲣⲁϣⲓ ⲛⲉ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲟⲩ⳿ⲙⲕⲁϩ ⳿ⲛϩⲏⲧ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲡϧⲁ⳿ⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲟⲩⲟⲩⲧⲁϩ ⳿ⲛϩⲓⲣⲏ ⲛⲓⲕⲟⲛ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ϯⲙⲉⲑⲙⲏⲓ ϣⲁⲥⲧⲏⲓϥ ⳿ⲛⲛⲏⲉⲧⲁⲩⲉⲣⲅⲩⲙⲛⲁⲍⲓⲛ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲟⲧⲥ.
12 Wherefore stretch out again the hands that hang down, and the paralytic knees;
ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲫⲁⲓ ⲛⲓϫⲓϫ ⲉⲧⲭⲏ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓⲫⲁⲧ ⲉⲧⲃⲏⲗ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲁⲧⲁϩⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉⲣⲁⲧⲟⲩ.
13 and make strait paths for your feet, that what is halting may not be turned out of the way; but that it may rather be healed.
ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ⲁⲣⲓⲟⲩ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲛϩⲁⲛϫⲓⲛϭⲟϫⲓ ⲉⲩⲥⲟⲩⲧⲱⲛ ⳿ⲛⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛϭ ⲁⲗⲁⲩϫ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ⳿ϣⲧⲉⲙ ϯⲙⲉⲧϭⲁⲗⲉ ⲣⲓⲕⲓ ⲙⲁⲗⲗⲟⲛ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲥⲗⲟϫⲥ.
14 Earnestly seek peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ϭⲟϫⲓ ⳿ⲛⲥⲁ ϯϩⲓⲣⲏⲛⲏ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲓⲧⲟⲩⲃⲟ ⲫⲏⲉⲧⲉ ⲁⲧϭⲛⲟⲩϥ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲛ ⳿ϩⲗⲓ ⲛⲁⲛⲁⲩ ⳿ⲙⲠ⳪.
15 carefully observing lest any of you fail of attaining the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and by it many be defiled;
ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲥⲟⲙⲥ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲏⲡⲱⲥ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲉϥϣⲁⲧ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓ⳿ϩⲙⲟⲧ ⲙⲏⲡⲱⲥ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲛⲟⲩⲛⲓ ⳿ⲛϣⲁϣⲓ ⲉⲥⲣⲏⲧ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲡϣⲱⲓ ⲉⲥϯ ⳿ⲙⲕⲁϩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲟⲧⲥ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲟⲩⲙⲏϣ ϭⲱϧⲉⲙ.
16 lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of bread parted with his birthrights.
ⲓ̅ⲋ̅ⲙⲏⲡⲱⲥ ⲁⲛ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲡⲟⲣⲛⲟⲥ ⲓⲉ ⲟⲩⲥⲁϥϩⲏⲧ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⳿ⲛⲏⲥⲁⲩ ⲫⲏⲉⲧⲁϥϯ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉϥⲙⲉⲧϣⲁⲙⲓⲥⲓ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩ⳿ϧⲣⲉ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲱⲧ.
17 For ye know, that when afterwards he wished to inherit the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place for a change of his father’s mind, though he sought it earnestly with tears.
ⲓ̅ⲍ̅ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲥⲱⲟⲩⲛ ϫⲉ ⲙⲉⲛⲉⲛⲥⲱⲥ ⲉϥⲟⲩⲱϣ ⳿ⲉⲉⲣ⳿ⲕⲗⲏⲣⲟⲛⲟⲙⲓⲛ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓ⳿ⲥⲙⲟⲩ ⲁⲩϩⲓⲧϥ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉϥϫⲉⲙ ⲙⲁ ⲅⲁⲣ ⳿ⲛⲉⲣⲙⲉⲧⲁⲛⲟⲓⲛ ⲕⲉⲧⲟⲓ ⲛⲉⲁϥⲕⲱϯ ⳿ⲛⲥⲱⲥ ϧⲉⲛ ϩⲁⲛⲉⲣⲙⲱⲟⲩ⳿ⲓ.
18 For ye have not approached the mountain that could only be groped for, and that burned with fire, and the thick cloud, and the darkness, and the tempest,
ⲓ̅ⲏ̅⳿ⲙⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛ⳿ⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ϩⲁ ⲟⲩ⳿ⲭⲣⲱⲙ ⳿ⲛϫⲟⲙϫⲉⲙ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉϥⲙⲟϩ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲟⲩ⳿ⲅⲛⲟⲫⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲟⲩⲭⲁⲕⲓ ⲉϥⲫⲟⲛϩ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲟⲩⲥⲁⲣⲁⲑⲏⲟⲩ.
19 and the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words, which they who heard, earnestly begged that the discourse might not be directed to them:
ⲓ̅ⲑ̅ⲛⲉⲙ ⳿ⲡⲥⲉⲛⲥⲉⲛ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲟⲩⲥⲁⲗⲡⲓⲅⲅⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⳿ⲧ⳿ⲥⲙⲏ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ϩⲁⲛⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲑⲏ ⲉⲧⲁ ⲛⲏⲉⲧⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟⲥ ⲉⲣⲡⲁⲣⲁⲧⲓⲥⲑⲉ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϣⲧⲉⲙⲟⲩⲁϩⲉⲙ ⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲱⲟⲩ.
20 for they could not bear the charge given, and “If but a beast touch the mountain he shall be stoned, or shot through with a dart:”
ⲕ̅ⲛⲁⲩ⳿ϣϥⲁⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ϧⲁ ⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛⲁⲩϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲕⲁⲛ ⲟⲩⲑⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ ⲁϥϣⲁⲛϭⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲓⲧⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲩ⳿ⲉϩⲓⲱⲛⲓ ⳿ⲉϫⲱϥ.
21 and so terrible was the appearance, that Moses said, I am exceedingly afraid and trembling:
ⲕ̅ⲁ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ⲛⲁϥⲟⲓ ⳿ⲛϩⲟϯ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲡⲉⲑⲟⲩⲟⲛϩ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲱ⳿ⲩⲥⲏⲥ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲁϥϫⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ϯⲟⲓ ⳿ⲛϩⲟϯ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϯ⳿ⲥⲑⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲣ.
22 but ye are come unto mount Sion, and to the city of the living God, to the heavenly Jerusalem, and to myriads of angels,
ⲕ̅ⲃ̅ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛ⳿ⲓ ϩⲁ ⲡⲓⲧⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲥⲓⲱⲛ ⲛⲉⲙ ϯⲃⲁⲕⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲫϯ ⲉⲧⲟⲛϧ ⳿ⲓⲗ̅ⲏ̅ⲙ̅ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⳿ⲧⲫⲉ ⲛⲉⲙ ϩⲁⲛ⳿ⲑⲃⲁ ⳿ⲛⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲉⲩⲉⲣϣⲁⲓ.
23 and to the general assembly and church of the first-born registered in the heavens, and to God the judge of all, and to the spirits of just men perfected,
ⲕ̅ⲅ̅ⲛⲉⲙ ⲟⲩⲉⲕ⳿ⲕⲗⲏⲥⲓⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ϩⲁⲛϣⲁⲙⲓⲥⲓ ⲉⲥ⳿ⲥϧⲏⲟⲩⲧ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲓⲫⲏⲟⲩ⳿ⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲓⲣⲉϥϯϩⲁⲡ ⲫϯ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲓⲡ͞ⲛⲁ̅ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲛⲓ⳿ⲑⲙⲏⲓ ⲉⲧϫⲏⲕ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ.
24 and to Jesus the mediator of the new testament, and to the blood of sprinkling, which speaketh better things than that of Abel.
ⲕ̅ⲇ̅ⲛⲉⲙ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⲡⲓⲙⲉⲥⲓⲧⲏⲥ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ϯⲇⲓ⳿ⲁⲑⲏⲕⲏ ⳿ⲙⲃⲉⲣⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲟⲩ⳿ⲥⲛⲟϥ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲟⲩⲛⲟⲩϫϧ ⲉϥⲥⲁϫⲓ ⳿ⲉϩⲟⲧⲉ ⲫⲁ ⲁⲃⲉⲗ.
25 Beware that ye reject not him that speaketh: for if they escaped not, who rejected him, that upon earth spake by divine influence, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him who speaks from heaven:
ⲕ̅ⲉ̅⳿ⲁⲛⲁⲩ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉⲣⲉⲣⲡⲁⲣⲁⲧⲓⲥⲑⲉ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉⲧⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲓⲥϫⲉ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲏ ⳿ⲙⲡⲟⲩ⳿ϣⲫⲱⲧ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲉⲣⲡⲁⲣⲁⲧⲓⲥⲑⲉ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉⲧⲥⲁϫⲓ ⳿ⲛϩⲟⲩ⳿ⲟ ⲙⲁⲗⲗⲟⲛ ⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲛ ϧⲁ ⲛⲏⲉⲑⲛⲁⲕⲉⲧ ⳿ϩⲣⲁⲩ ⲥⲁⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲙⲫⲏⲉⲧⲁϥ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲓⲫⲏⲟⲩ⳿ⲓ.
26 whose voice then shook the earth, but now he hath promised, saying, “Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also the heaven.”
ⲕ̅ⲋ̅ⲫⲏⲉⲧⲁ ⲧⲉϥ⳿ⲥⲙⲏ ⲕⲓⲙ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲕⲁϩⲓ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲥⲏ ⲟⲩ ϯⲛⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥⲱϣ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲉⲧⲓ ⲕⲉⲥⲟⲡ ⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ϯⲛⲁⲙⲟⲛⲙⲉⲛ ⲟⲩ ⲙⲟⲛⲟⲛ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲡⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲛⲉⲙ ϯⲕⲉⲫⲉ.
27 Now this word yet once more manifests the removal of the things shaken, as of things formed, that the things not shaken may endure.
ⲕ̅ⲍ̅ⲡⲓⲉⲧⲓ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲛⲕⲉⲥⲟⲡ ⲉϥⲧⲁⲙⲟ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲛ ⲉⲩⲟⲩⲱⲧⲉⲃ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲛⲏⲉⲧⲟⲩⲕⲓⲙ ⳿ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ϩⲱⲥ ⲉⲩ⳿ⲑⲙⲁⲓⲏⲟⲩⲧ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲟⲩϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲉⲩ⳿ⲥⲙⲟⲛⲧ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲛⲏⲉⲧⲉ⳿ⲛⲥⲉⲕⲓⲙ ⲁⲛ.
28 Wherefore receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, may we hold fast the grace, by which we can offer to God acceptably divine service, with reverence and pious awe:
ⲕ̅ⲏ̅ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲫⲁⲓ ⲉⲛⲛⲁϭⲓ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲙⲉⲧⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⳿ⲛⲁⲧⲕⲓⲙ ⲙⲁⲣⲉⲛϣⲱⲡⲓ ⳿ⲉⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⳿ϩⲙⲟⲧ ⳿ⲛⲧⲟⲧⲉⲛ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁϣⲉⲙϣⲓ ⳿ⲙⲫϯ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲟⲧϥ ⲉⲛⲣⲁⲛⲁϥ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩϩⲟϯ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲟⲩ⳿ⲥⲑⲉⲣⲧⲉⲣ.
29 for our God is a devouring fire.
